gypsy lane

Beyond this Driftwood Lane
I stared into nothingness,
as though it was the affair of the mind.
Like staring into the chasm
of an empty and dark well,
looking for a clean way to escape
this strong monomania drug-like of you.
Yet, here I am again
injecting every bit of you
back to these hungry veins,
like you belong there.
