gyeongju bread

Gyeongju Bread, also known as Hwangnam Bread, is a small pastry made from a mixture of eggs and wheat flower, with red bean paste filling most all of the pastry. They are a local specialty of Gyeongju City, South Korea, but originate from the South Hwanghae Province. A chrysanthemum is traditionally imprinted on top of the bread.
