Too Young, Too Dumb, Too Powerful Part 3

Peter Parker x Stark!Reader

Other characters: Pepper Potts

When Tony was a reckless young playboy he had his late night adventures usually ending with a girl in his bed, but when he met your mother, everything in his world changed. He fell in love with her beautiful smile and her contagious laugh. When he knocked her up it had been the happiest he had ever been, knowing that he was going to start a family with the love of his life. When your mother went into labour, there had been many complications that it left her dead ten minutes after you had been brought into the world. Tony Stark was left with a baby girl and a broken heart. He knew what he had to do, and it was to raise you right even if that meant raising you as a single parent. You were Tony Stark’s most prize possession, not the suits. You were his princess and he treated you like one. But when his princess gets older and meets Tony Stark’s newest recruit, Spiderman/Peter Parker, Tony realizes you’re growing up and he could lose you as well.

“What are we gonna do?” I panicked. How did my dad know? He has cameras in every room but he swore he’d never check mine unless there was an emergency.

“Oh my god, I’m going to lose everything. Spider Man is over,” he turned to me, his eyes were glossy, “we’re done, aren’t we?” He asked but he already knew the answer. I looked down at the floor and nodded weakly.

I heard a knock at the door. At first I was hesitate to open it for it could be my dad, probably in one of his suits, ready to take care of Peter himself. My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the calming voice of Pepper.

“Y/N, sweetie, I’m sorry but you have to get out here.” I responded with a weak ‘okay’ and turned to Peter. I pulled Peter close for, possibly, our last kiss.

We walked out of my room and were greeted by Pepper in her work attire. She gave the two of use a small smile before leading us the common room. I make this walk multiple times a day, but I had never felt so miserable while walking in my own home.

When we reached the common room you could feel the anger and tension rising when my dad turned to see Peter Parker, his trustful Spider Man, standing rather close to his beloved daughter. Tony Stark is one of the smartest people in the world, and up until now he had never felt so clueless. What was the worst is that he was clueless about something that had to with his own daughter. Tony was fully aware of how protective of you, but when you’ve seen the world through the Iron Mask, you see how bad the world can be. He’s seen children without parents, food, shelter, hell he has seen kids being held captive against their will and working for criminals.

My dad walked into the middle of the room and crossed his arms. He raised his head as though he expected us to speak right away, but anything we said would not help us.

“Dad,” I began but he interrupted me before I could finish.

“No, sweet and honest daughter of mine,” he said with anger and sarcasm, “I wanna hear from Mr. Parker over here. He seems to have made quite a home for himself here and with my daughter. Please, Peter, enlighten me.” My dad’s words were dripping with anger, anything Peter said would dig him into an even deeper hole than he was already in.

“Mr. Stark, I’m so-”

“No. You’re done here.” He walked between Peter and I and Peter stumbled back into the wall behind him. “I want the suit, I want all the little toys back, and I want you gone, from my daughter, for good.”

“S-sir, Mr. Stark, I promise I never had any bad intentions-”

“FRIDAY show Mr. Parker his way out, and permanently ban him from this building or any other establishment of mine.” My dad spoke as he walked towards his lab, not looking either one of us in the eyes.

“Dad,” I called out but he didn’t turn. “Dad,” I tried again but nothing. “ANTHONY STARK TURN AROUND THIS INSTANT OR-”

“Or what?” he threatened.

“Dad, you can’t do this.” I cried. I turned and saw Happy escorting Peter out of the room and far away from me.

“I can’t do this? Bullshit. I can do whatever the fuck I want when it comes to you. You’re my fucking kid for god sakes! I can’t believe you lied to my face and didn’t bother telling me any of this. You’re never seeing that kid again. You hear me?” His voice got louder and more aggressive as he spoke.

“Daddy, I-”

“Don’t. You. Fucking. Dare.” His words dripped of anger. “That internship, with Strange, forget about it. It’s gone. Let me know when my real daughter is ready to have a conversation, because this isn’t her.” He spun around, without another word, and walked into his lab. He was probably not gonna come out for a few days.

I fell to the ground, sobbing. Pepper came beside me and I rested my head on her chest and cried. She was trying to sooth me, but it wasn’t working. It wouldn’t.

I lost everything.

The internship.

My father’s trust.

I lost my everything.

Peter.

“Pepper I need to get out of here.” I cried. She stroked my hair as she held me close to her.

“I know, Y/N. It will get better. Your father won’t be mad at you for long. He absolutely adores you. He couldn’t go longer than a day without checking up on you. This will-”

“What about Peter? I love him,” I began crying again, “ I love him so much Pepper how am I going to recover from this?” I asked as I lifted myself from Pepper’s grasp.

“You’re a Stark. You guys are the strongest people I’ve met.”

“I ruined everything for him. He lost Spider-Man, Pepper. He probably hates me.” That thought made you burst out into a harder cry as you fell back in Pepper’s arms.

After a session of crying, Pepper walks into the labs where she sees a very distraught Tony with his head in his palms. She could tell by the mess he had made he was trying to drown the sound of your cries and distract himself at the same time.

“You can’t blame her, Tony. I know it may seem-”

“I can’t blame her? She deliberately went behind my back to be with one of my workers. She broke all the rules I had. She was so close to completely losing her innocence. I saw the security footage, Pepper, I saw it.”

“Tony, that’s absolutely ridiculous. They’re both good kids, and Y/N has a very smart head on her shoulders as well as Peter. They would never do something like that! They’re only 16! You can’t really think Peter would do such a thing?”

“Exactly Pepper! They’re 16! Peter’s a teenage boy! They all have a hard time keeping it in their pants. I should’ve listened to everyone else. This wasn’t a good idea bringing someone Y/N’s age into this facility, this life.”

“Do you hear how selfish you sound? Depriving your teenage daughter a regular life? She’s almost a young adult! You can’t keep her sheltered forever, Tony, it’s not how the world works. Her life is being surrounded by crazy technology, super soldiers, assassins, a raging green monster, and Demi-gods. You and everyone she loves is constantly in danger. She finally had someone who understood that, who understands all of this madness, but you stripped that away from her.”

“What happens when Peter’s ready? Hmm? He goes out into the world and gets hurt or worse. It’s on me. She’s heartbroken and she’ll hate me for the rest of our lives. I lost her mother, I’ve almost lost you, and I would never want her to feel that.”

“Remember New York? Flying through a portal into space? Almost dying? You called her that day. I was right by her side. You said ‘Daddy may not come home this time,’ and she bawled for hours. She’s felt heartbreak before, and it was almost losing the most important man in her life, her father, Tony.”

Tony sighed in defeat. Once again Pepper was right, she usually was when it came to Y/N. “I’ll go talk to her.”

Tony walked through the halls to your room. Once he arrived he knocked on the door. No answer. He tried again. Still no answer.

“Y/N, honey, it’s me. I know you don’t want to talk but please hear me out.”

Once again, no answer. Tony begins to worry.

“F.R.I.D.A.Y., please open up Y/N’s door.”

“Certainly, Sir.” And the door unlocks and Tony turned the knob. He walks in and you are nowhere to be found. He checked your closet. Not there. Your bathroom. No sign. He yells for Pepper in a panic and she runs as fast as she could to the teenager’s room.

“She’s gone.”

Everytime I look at the actors I stan I feel like im mentally shitting rainbows and this is worse than that butterflies in your stomach crap.
