gun charge

Since a lot of people don’t seem to know about this, I thought I’d introduce you to this masterpiece here.

Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger: The Screenplay

Released in 2014 this book contains the final shooting draft for the 1st Captain America movie. If you loved TFA, you absolutely need to get this because not only does it have the complete script so you can re-visit favourite scenes again, it also has alternative lines and omitted/altered scenes.

There are quite some goodies in there, some of which I wish they hadn’t changed for the movie. One of those would be the scene with Steve and Bucky on the train. In the original version you see, that scene went down a bit differently. Here, Steve actually manages to grab Bucky’s hand and starts pulling him back into the wagon. Since he had rushed for Bucky first though, the Hydra soldier was still on his feet, waiting to charge the gun and when it finally had, shot the beam at Bucky and vaporised his arm and he fell into the ravine.

So yeah folks, get this thing, it’s absolutely worth it! :)

(Where to get it? Amazon should definitely still have it.)

The swat team ran in, you and the other BAU members following close behind. Each room was checked, someone shouting clear to tell the others that the rooms were safe. You and Morgan stopped outside one of the upstairs bedrooms, Morgan going in front of the door so he could kick it in. A loud crash sounded through the house when his foot made contact with the door, you charging in gun raised as you scanned the room. Realising the room was not completley empty you called the others in, telling it was clear of the Unsub but not of his latest victims.

The IS-2′s main armament, the D-25T 122mm gun.

IS-2′s and onwards used a two piece ammunition for their main guns; propellant charge and projectile.

These pieces weren’t light in weight. The BR-471 APHE’s projectile alone weight 55 pounds. As a result of this weight, IS-2′s and their decedents had a much slower rate of fire compared to Western tanks. While the Tiger I and Tiger II could fire about 6-10 rounds per minute under ideal conditions, the IS-2 could only get about 2.5-3 rounds per minute.

Is it strange whenever I'm Genji I'm reluctant to ask for any healing even at 1 health. As well as sticking to the payload and protecting my healer (especially mercy ;) ) I've been called on voice chat the one true Genji twice.

[Weiss] As a Mercy main myself (and support main in general) I have no qualms with Genjis asking for heals c: more often than not I’m really distracted by keeping our tank(s) alive and so I don’t always see when/if people around me need healing (especially if people are behind me).

My problem, however (like anyone else that plays support/healers), is when flanking characters asks for heals across the freaking map. Like, what am I supposed to do? Grab my tic-tac gun and charge headfirst through enemy ranks like a Toblerone infused swiss miss? (okay, I might have done that a few times, oops).

And don’t get me started on those that spam I need healing. One time is enough - twice if your condition is worsening.

In short, don’t be afraid to ask for healing if the healer doesn’t notice you around them. I’m actually rather grateful if made aware of people needing heals, as I would very much keep my team alive and healthy ♡♡

[noire] i agree 150% with what weiss said: also keeping in mind that the “I need healing” button exists for a reason, it only becomes annoying because people spam it. ALSO, i usually get spammed by tanks more than genji’s so…? then again i also play zen, so it’s easier to keep flankers healed

The Iran-Iraq war has been compared to World War I in terms of the tactics used, including large-scale trench warfare with barbed wire stretched across trenches, manned machine-gun posts, bayonet charges, human wave attacks across a no-man’s land, and extensive use of chemical weapons such as mustard gas by the Iraqi government against Iranian troops.

So today i beat Hyper Light Drifter and I loved this game to bits ! I can’t wait to play it more and try to find everything.

And of course i started to think of some of my (and @shuuzaar‘s) ocs in this universe, so here’s Anank !

(the image is scaled to 150% here !)

au where the Last Battle is just a laser tag match that they all took way too seriously

Name: Panku

Powers: Death Ray (From the tail), Grinder Jaw, Peudopods able to exude/grapple from said grinder-jaw, PSI Static (IE, Waves from that thing on the top of its head that both jam communications and make it hard to think

Personality: Completely and utterly bonkers, kill-crazy and constantly cackling, even in its static, desiring only to create as much destruction as possible.

Origin: What happens when you get a religiously fanatic race in your ruthlessly pragmatic conquering space-empire, willing to stupidly charge in guns blazing despite your plans in the name of gaining sacrifices to their god?

Well, when you’re the Beyonder Empire, you try to keep them from Leeroy Jenkins-ing you to death by distracting them with smaller “side-missions” to “soften up” places before the “important” Beyonders get there. Thusly, that’s what The Beyonders did with the race known as The Eggs, the slimy piles of sludge in floating ovoid domes..

Of course, the Eggs were too dedicated to their cause to really care about being sidelined, and one of the weapons projects they worked on was a weapon known as The Cosmic Egg; an Ultimate Life Form for their people, combining their brightest millitary minds into one hive-mind via Yamaneon in an invincible battle-body.

Needless to say, the combined minds went mad in a matter of days. So, they decided to use it as a bomb. On Earth. Right around the time magic was wiping itself from existence. The shock caused it to go into a deep hibernation for aeons in what would become the American Southwest.

Fast forward to the 50s, and a mysterious crimelord named The Head; literally a disembodied head surviving via science ala Jan In The Pan, discovers it while trying to re-establish herself, using its Yamaneon-infused biomass to create monsters for her own sinister plans, and hijacking its jamming-capacities to conceal her hideout near it.

It is a useful resource so long as it remains asleep. But, when it wakes up…

Yet another kaiju for @tyrantisterror‘s contest and TOTALLY NOT A METAL GEAR YOLKIAN YOU GUYS!

Carla Tsukinami: Headcanons

I’ve realized that I never did headcanons for the Tsukinami bros so I’m gonna.

Carla was named by his mother.

As a child he was very quiet and reserved and often had a hard time playing with Shin who was much more rambunctious.

His father never liked him and to this day he never knew nor cared why. He often remained close to his mother.

He often had to save Shin from trouble growing up.

One reason his father didn’t care for his eldest son was because Carla is a pacifist. Carla would much rather resolve conflict through negotiation rather than declare war, where his father and Shin want to charge in guns blazing.

He maintains a high amount of pride as a First Blood. Although he knelt down to the Vibora King and cut out Shin’s eye, he was enraged that he had to lower himself for an inferior species.

He has original artworks and pieces dating back to Ancient Egypt. He collects art from almost every continent from various times.

He was betrothed to another First Blood since he was a child. He had little interest in her but knew he didn’t have much choice in the matter since that’s how politics worked in royalty. The two spent some time together but there was zero romantic interaction or chemistry between them. His betrothed died from Endziet.

His mother’s death greatly affected him. Prior to her dying, he would always see her when she was quarantined in the dungeon by his father.

Aside from vampires and vibora, he doesn’t really care or bother with the other subspecies. Because Karlheinz was responsible for trapping him and his kind in the Demon World for nearly 2000 years, he has a special grudge against vampires. He won’t go out of his way to kill some vibora but if they’re in his path he won’t hesitate.

He’s had sex once. He doesn’t see the hype in it where his brother won’t shut up about it.

Yui/the heroine is the first human he hasn’t eaten. Though human blood and flesh doesn’t appeal to him much.
