In June 1966, the Apollo 1 crew practices water egress procedures with a full scale boilerplate model of the spacecraft.  In the water at right are astronauts Ed White and Roger Caffee. In the raft near the spacecraft is Gus Grissom.  NASA swimmers are in the water to assist in the practice session that took place at Ellington AFT near the Manned Spacecraft Center in Houston, TX.  On January 27th, 1967, the crew perished during a fire aboard the craft during launch rehearsal.

Roofs of Manchester, England.

I’m leaving you this image of Manchester as I’ll be shooting in Sweden till Monday next.

Enjoy the weather, come rain or shine.

Not sure if any of you are aware...

I’m a huge film buff // photography enthusiast.  I actually had the pleasure of having a drink and spending some time with actor Gabe Nevins this week, the star of Gus Van Sants film Paranoid Park.  He gifted me a signed copy of the beautiful photography book “GAbE” shot by Nick Haymes.
I know this is *not* true crime related but it is an extremely dark, gritty, and intense photography book and I highly suggest you guys check it out if you are able to.  Truly some of the best candid photography I have ever had the pleasure of seeing.

Afternoon sun bursts out of the blanket of cloud, hugging the mountains with a golden glow.

I happened to be by the monument in the village of Peille, with an unobstructed panoramic view in front, to soak myself in this magic moment.

The true wonders of nature.
