Interior Grundtvigs Kirke showing the Marcussen organ, the larger of two organs in the church. Made of a distinctive yellow brick the Church was commissioned in 1921 and took until 1927 when the tower was finished using six million bricks. The surrounding area is also built at the same time with the same brick and this work continued up until 1940. It is a rare example of expressionist church architecture and it has become one of the best known churches in Copenhagen and a popular destination for design and architecture students from around the world. #visitcopenhagen #visitdenmark #grundtvigskirke #bispebjerg
