Speed Graphic + Aero Ektar with Carol Seleme

I finally got around to attending a group shoot organized by Group Shoot Events, and decided to bring my Speed Graphic along. Usually among thousands of digital images, I might pick out 2-3 that I will use. This was the first time I liked every single shot I took, and I only took five of Carol.

At almost 6 pounds this camera is not what you would call easy to carry around and operate. Accompanying it on this shoot is the approx Kodak Aero Ektar 7in f/2.5. Because of the large size of the film, the depth of field equivalent on a 35mm camera would be a 48mm f/0.64! It certainly is razor thin and tightly focused. Carol looks quite lovely getting ready next to this beast:
