*Sees person* i wonder what music they listen to

Being a fan of underground/indie music is really hard because whenever you’re like “oh have you ever heard of this band?” people are like “no” or “wtf that’s a really weird name” and you’re like “but…but they are so good!”
And then of course, a lot of them have that one popular song that everyone knows and they only know that song which is even more annoying.

I’m thankful for these bands
  • twenty one pilots
  • Fleetwood Mac
  • The 1975
  • Coldplay
  • Kodaline
  • Queen
  • Green Day
  • Grouplove
  • The Smiths
  • Passion Pit
  • Foster the People
  • The Killers

There’s a lot more of them but I’m just so thankful. Thank you. You guys saved my life.

whip-pan a réagi à votre billet: Really love the band grouplove! Also check out “come and get your love”

Thank you for the recs! I only knew Tongue tied by Grouplove so it was nice to discover some more. Also, Come and get your love is v good (for some reason my mind directly went to Carwood lipsynching it to Ron so it was even more fun)

blind-al a réagi à votre billet: ball park music - it’s nice to be alive; onerepublic - life in color (and good life, and marching on)!!

Thank you dear! It’s nice to be alive is good, and I love One Republic, Marching on is one my faves :) life in color and good life are great too

thatsnotmozarts a réagi à votre billet: smile by mikky ekko is my go-to! and then riptide by vance joy and la devotee by panic! at the disco are also good, they’re all very sunshine-y feeling

Oh I love Smile, and I adore the singer’s voice. Riptide is cool too, and although i’m not a fan of P!ATD, I like this one. Thank you for the recs :)
