A couple weeks ago, I was browsing on GroopDealz.Com—a website that offers daily sales on unique items from various boutiques and small businesses—and stumbled upon this bamboo makeup brush set that looked too good to pass up! The set contains ten synthetic bamboo brushes and was on sale at the time for only $16 (plus $5 shipping)! I placed my order and about a week later, the brush set arrived.
There is a great variety of face and eye brushes in this set. The synthetic fibers are soft, yet dense, and the wooden handles have a glossy enamel and sturdy construction that is lightweight and scratch resistant. Prior to using the brushes, I washed them and was very pleased to discover there was no shedding with any of the brushes; this is one of my main concerns with makeup brushes, so it was nice to see that these bamboo brushes held up well. In the entire set, there is only one brush that I wasn’t too fond of (the blending brush), but other than that, majority of these brushes are multi-functional and have good quality for the price.
1. Flat Kabuki Brush
A flat top brush that’s ideal for buffing liquid or cream foundations for a smooth and even coverage.
2. Round Powder Brush
A large round-shaped brush used for diffusing pressed or loose powders all over the face.
3. Round Precision Brush
A small, rounded, and dense brush that’s great for applying concealer or primer all over the lid.
4. Large Blush Brush
A soft and fluffy dome-shaped brush that’s perfect for applying blush to the apples of the cheeks and can also be used to apply setting powder.
5. Foundation Brush
A firm and slightly tapered flat brush that’s used to apply liquid or cream foundations.
6. Blending Eyeshadow Brush
A long, rounded brush that’s intended for buffing out eyeshadows for a diffused effect.
This was my least favorite brush from the set; the brush’s bristles are too lengthy for my liking and didn’t easily blend out eyeshadows.
7. Flat Eyeshadow/Concealer Brush
A multi-functional flat brush that works best for applying eyeshadow or concealer.
8. Angled Eyeshadow Brush
A small, soft, angled brush that can be used to apply eyeshadow in the corner, on the crease, or across the entire lid; it’s also great for contouring the sides of the nose.
9. Pencil Brush
A pencil-shaped brush used for precise shading on the lid, in the eye crease, or along the lash line.
10. Angled Brow/Liner Brush
A slanted brush with a tapered point designed for the precise application of eye liners and brow products.
This bamboo makeup brush set is no longer available at GroopDealz.Com as their sales are very brief in order to create room for new deals, which they have daily with new products added every day. There are so much stuff to ogled at on there such as cosmetics, accessories, women’s apparel, home decor, children’s apparel, and so much more! This is a really great website for discovering unique and affordable gems! I definitely recommend checking out this website if you’re a “deal-a-holic”!

You choose the words that you want on the inside of the bracelet, and then you can add a little picture, date, or words on the outside. ALL FOR $10. I just don’t think you can beat that for personalization.
I am ordering one with a little secret saying thing that is special to Myles and I, but the possibilities are endless. Wouldn’t it make a great shower, or mother’s day gift? (for $10 you could even add a stupid/funny inside joke for a girlfriend!)
Expect it to arrive at your house in 4-6 weeks though, they usually take a while.
