question; i'm confused about the tap-dance-astic drama. what's 'right to first refusal' mean?

George breaks it all down here

But basically it means that they are underhandedly trying to profit off of the future of our work (like if we tried to get published, merchandise, etc…) by claiming rights over comics they host so yeah…not something that sits well with us small fry comic makers.

So I wanted to share something with you all that I figured a bunch of people could appreciate.

Back in December, my friend Carrie sent me a soft cover copy of Ananth Panagariya and Tessa Stone’s Buzz! I’ve been a huge fan of both of their works for years now, so getting this book was really special. Tessa was and is a huge influence on me as an artist and it was her work and her comics that first inspired me to really step into the comics world.

Then George took it to the next level. He not only got me the hard cover copy of Buzz! but he also had both Ananth and Tessa personally sign it before sending it to me.

I’m so thrilled and humbled by such a special gift. I can’t thank any of them enough for this, but I wanted to share this with you as well. Hopefully it put a smile on your face.
