Here’s something you could wear to work this summer! Perfect for warm days ahead. This could work or it might be a bit too casual–it still depends on the industry and company for which you work. Opt for light fabrics and light colored polos instead of dark ones like black, grey and navy blue.

What I’m wearing:  striped short sleeve polo (Greater Good), chino pants (Cotton On), eyeglasses (SM Accessories), watch (SM Accessories), boat shoes (Flying Dutchman). Hype this on here.

Striped short sleeve polo from Greater Good | They just released their spring/summer collection (you guys can check it out here). I don’t normally wear short sleeve polos (I usually throw in a blazer or a cardigan) but this one looks good as is!

The fit is perfect for my body build. The sleeves are just the right length and the armholes are not too large. That’s why Greater Good will always be one of my favorites because they’re very particular with the fit and fabric–and it’s a local brand!

Greater Good is available at SM Mall of Asia (just across Bo’s Coffee near the entertainment hall) or you can order via Greater Good’s Facebook page and they’ll work on shipping it to your place!

Watch from SM Accessories

This Canon PowerShot S100 in titanium silver is one of my favorites because I love the matte finish (it’s also available in black). More than its looks, this beauty has an F2 aperture, a 24-120 equivalent 5x zoom, a built-in GPS and my favorite–full HD movie recording at 1920x1080 resolution. You can use the optical zoom while recording videos!

Everyone knows that site, GreaterGood, which among other things gives free mammograms when users click? They also support the terrible Autism Speaks.

Click the link, scroll down, and you’ll see them among their sponsors.

For those who don’t know. Autism Speaks is terrible because they more or less propose eugenics. That’s what their genetic “cure” for autism would have to be, if you think about it for more than two seconds. They don’t actually speak for any autistic people, and in fact, don’t consult us at all, about anything, ever. For more information, check out GoldenHeartedRose’s giant resource on why they’re the absolute scum of the earth.

I’ve emailed them about not supporting them anymore. All I got from them was that they “can’t speak” on Autism Speaks’ behalf, which I didn’t even ask them to do. Also, ironic, considering Autism Speaks can’t speak on autistics’ behalf and thinks we can’t speak for ourselves. I replied pointing this out and clarifying that I want them to consider not supporting A$, but to no avail.

We need lots of people to email them about this. Only then will they pay any attention. Email and about it, please? Be firm and angry about this, but also don’t be too rude. Suggest that they support the Autistic Self Advocacy Network instead.

Go, Tumblr, do your thing. And signal boost.

The GreaterGood Animal Rescue Site’s “click to give” feature is something i’ve been meaning to post about for a bit now, and that I’ve been personally using for over a year.
By clicking the button, you enable the site to dish free food out to animals.

“When you click on the homepage button, your click is counted by our servers and you move to the Thank You page, where you will see small ads for our site sponsors. There is no charge to you; the click donation is fully paid for by these sponsors.”

Basically, ad revenue pays for the charities. The traffic the site gains from charitable clickin’ folks makes it an appealing place for advertisers, so each sponsor on the site gets to have their ad up for awhile, and is billed for the amount of clicks that took place while their ad was up.

Fun fact: If each one of my followers clicked the button, they would be donating over 13,000 bowls of food today. That’s a lot of food, you guys.

Shape Shifter

An outfit post which showcases Filipino products. Well, almost. I wore a limited edition Greater Good x Jaime Zobel tank top today. Every purchase of an item from this collection adopts 3 seedlings which will be planted in endangered forest regions all over the Philippines for Haribon Foundation’s campaign, “Road to 2020.” An initiative to re-populate one million hectares of Philippine rainforests with native species by the year 2020. Let’s support our own!

What I’m wearing: tank top (Greater Good), pants (Topman), cap (SM Accessories), watch (SM Accessories), bone cuff (OS), necklace (Cravemore), rucksack (Sagada Weaving), file/laptop case (Sagada Weaving), socks (Topman), classic canvas champion sneakers (Keds). Hype this on lookbook here.

Here’s something you can wear to a music festival or a day trip. Make sure you guys bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, water, a fully charged cellphone, cash, IDs, some wet wipes and a handy (preferably waterproof) camera! Speaking of festivals–only 3 days to go till the biggest event this summer–Close Up Summer Solstice! 12 hours of non-stop partying? I’m sure it’s gonna be crazy!

What I’m wearing: tank top (Greater Good), hip pack (Herschel Supply Co.), pants (Topman), cap (American Boulevard), sunglasses (Topman), boots (American Eagle). Hype this on here.

Tank top from Greater Good | This is how dark I am right now! I gotta lay off the beach and swimming a little bit before I get too black! Anyway, Greater Good finally released their summer collection–with more shirts and tank tops this season! Available at SM Mall of Asia (Entertainment Hall). You can also order online here.

Hip pack from Herschel Supply Co. | Designed to be worn over the shoulder or strung around the waist, this hip pack features multiple storage pockets which are perfect for short day trips or everyday use. Anyway, have you guys checked out the Herschel kiosk in Trinoma? It’s just on the 1st floor, right in front of Kamiseta. Drop by if you’re in the area!

Customized iPhone case from Love for Cases | I wanted something summer-y so I got this (hipster) photo from Tumblr and had it printed on my iPhone case! Looks pretty neat!

I’ll admit that I’ve gotten into a shouting match or two when others didn’t see eye to eye with me, but some attitudes are just destructive and they need to be extinguished. It’s hard to get others to see your point of view when it involves telling them they are wrong about something or that they need to improve themselves, but it’s often the truth and needed for the greater good#namaste #greatergood#love#peace#cats#human #art#amazing#stunning#puzzul#ego#free#spirit #soul#source #god#kundalini #tao#body#eye#face#fish#bliss

Made with Instagram

Walked for the Folded & Hung segment of the New Glorietta Vibe fashion show last week and made fashion history! Broke the record for having the world’s biggest fashion show (with 2,255 models plus over a hundred brands). Congratulations Glorietta, Globe and

Wore this very chill outfit before the show. When I wear something grey, I always try to pair it with black. The combination of the 2 just feels right. I wanted to keep the grey evident all over the outfit so I wore a jean jacket with a light washed denim and added a detachable hood to keep it casual. I made sure the shirt is not grey–delikado na, baka pawisan haha!

What I’m wearing: jean jacket (Giordano), graphic shirt (Greater Good), detachable hood (Forever 21 Men), jeans (Levi’s), rucksack (Levi’s), cap (American Boulevard), clip on sunglasses (Urban Outfitters), sneakers (Sperry Top-Sider). Hype this on lookbook here.

“Go against the current.” I live by this quote because it’s a great reminder to constantly challenge ourselves. To achieve great things in life, you need blood, sweat and tears to get there. Don’t give up on your dream just because you’re scared. As they say, “nothing worth having comes easy!”

I was in a hurry so I jumped into a pair of comfy jeans, grabbed a shirt, a lightweight hoodie and I was out the door! Spent the day running around the city catching up with work because I was out of town for a week for vacation. I’ve also been busy clearing out my closet for a garage sale this Saturday at The World Trade Center! I’ll be selling a lot of my clothes, shoes and accessories! Check out my instagram for a preview of the stuff I’ll be selling!

What I’m wearing: grey hoodie (Original Penguin), graphic shirt (Greater Good), jeans (Energie Jeans), watch (Tomato Time), socks (H&M), shoes (Boxfresh). Hype this on lookbook here.

Hoodie from Original Penguin. Hoodies (grey in particular) are your best friend when you’re too lazy to dress up. I also love that the jacket’s light enough to wear during the day.

Create and Innovate graphic tee from Greater Good. I’m wearing another shirt from their anniversary collection! The quote written on the shirt keeps me inspired!

Headphones from Adidas NEO Label–available in selected SM Department Stores, Robinsons Department Stores, Toby’s, Planet Sports and other sports stores nationwide.

Watch from Tomato Time. It comes with 7 interchangeable straps for only php700–it’ll make a cool Christmas present don’t you think? Plus if you order it online, they’ll gift wrap and ship it to you for free!

Limited Edition Eastpak x Kris Van Assche bag. What safer way to keep your valuables close to you than wearing this backpack-looking belt bag? It’s a handy little accessory (also perfect for traveling). Designed by famous Belgium-based designer and artistic director of Dior Homme Van Assche collaborates with Eastpak for the third time! The Eastpak x Kris Van Assche collection is exclusively available at Bratpack Greenbelt 5, Robinson’s Ermita and Alabang Town Center! Hurry because they only have 3 pieces per design!

Help Protect Endangered Red Wolves

Hey everyone. It would be really great if you could all take a moment to sign a petition to save red wolves.

From the National Wildlife Federation:

“Red wolves exist in the wild in only one place on earth. But now, a recent rash of shootings by poachers is putting the future of the entire population of red wolves at risk.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has worked tirelessly to help bring back red wolves, but they need increased federal funding to help successfully combat the latest threat to this critically endangered species.

Take Action! Help keep red wolves from going extinct.

Please just take a few seconds out of your scrolling to sign and signal boost this. All wolves are extremely important, and red wolves need our help more than any other.

It’s June! You know what that means–summer is almost over! Boooo. But let me post this now before it becomes irrelevant, haha! Wore this to a beach trip with friends a couple of weeks ago. I think I soaked up too much tan but I like it how it turned out! I hope everyone had a memorable summer this year!

What I’m wearing: floral printed pocket tank top (Greater Good), board shorts (Maui and Sons), cap (Super), sunnies (Topman), bracelets (SM Accessories), beach shoes (Native). Hype this on here.

Young Folk, Silly Folk

Went to the Greater Good x StyleBreak party at Borough last night for the launch of their new collection, Young Folk, Silly Folk. Where fashion is used to increase awareness for change in the environment and animal rights. Something I support! Plus, part of the sales of this line goes to PAWS! Congrats Mike Concepcion & Laureen Uy! These guys are such inspirations ‘cause they are making a change in this world…and they’re doing it in style! Haha! They also released a video for the brand’s latest collection (which I cant stop watching haha) Watch it here. It was great seeing everyone last night + meeting new people! Hair looks extra crappy, sorry.

The Young Folk, Silly Folk line is now available at Greater Good’s store in Mall of Asia and at the StyleBreak showroom!
