I’m speechless after this video. I literally have nothing to say. Jack seemed to say all the words that were going through my head. I would just be quoting a lot of what he said in this video if I tried to share my own thoughts right now.

The one thing I will say is, this inspires me so much, to see Jack make a video, talking about some really serious stuff he normally would never talk about in videos, but this was a special cause, because it was someone who means a great deal to him. People can disagree with what Jack said in this video, or completely agree with it, or have no opinions on the matter, whatever.

Felix’s joke may have been bad, but that doesn’t make him a bad person. We all have accidentally said something that could be taken out of context, but in Felix’s case, this is a lot more serious, just because of how popular he is. But we all make some REALLY bad mistakes sometimes, no one can honestly say they never have, but please show respect towards him. Show some humanity. It really brings me down, seeing how people hear someone say something really bad as a joke, even if that person know they shouldn’t be doing that, but that doesn’t mean the other person has to pretend they don’t know it’s a joke, just because they wanna start some shit, and spread pointless negativity.

I believe Jack when he says Felix is a good person, he has a really good judge of character I think. And from what I’ve seen, I think he’s a great person as well, he has a good heart. He just made one really bad, stupid, mistake…as we all have. I just hope humanity has enough of a heart and soul left to forgive him for that mistake. Anyway, I don’t wanna go on forever, I haven’t been keeping up with what’s going on with the whole thing, but I am aware of the things Jack was talking about in this video, and that’s about it. So please, don’t hate on me too harshly, I was just sharing the thoughts Jack got stirring around in my head.

look at the fucking charcuterie setup that sam gifted us with for the classiest dnd game of all time

A silly drabble I felt the need to write. Enjoy

Isis Ishtar looked perfect. She always looked perfect. Her hair and makeup was always wonderfully done, her dresses elegant, her jewels carefully and artistically placed. Even when she had just woken up it took her a matter of five seconds to turn into a walking goddess.

Isis never looked anything less than the complete picture of royal dignity and unearthliness and composed beauty.

Which was the reason Mai was leaning against the wall trying not to fall over with laughter.

“It was a gift. Marik thought it would be hilarious” Isis said, her arms crossed defensively. Mai could swear she could see a light flush on Isis’ cheeks.

Or, she would have, if her eyes weren’t starting to water.

“It is” she wheezed.

She hadn’t meant to go looking through Isis’ things, but she had caught sight of something that looked like a t-shirt and she had thought it was one of hers that she had forgotten at Isis’ place. After all, she had never seen Isis wearing a t-shirt.

And that was how she had discovered this white shirt with the words, “Girls, want to eat out?” and an arrow pointing downwards.

“Why” Mai panted, rubbing her tears away “Why haven’t I ever seen you in this?”

“It’s a stupid shirt” Isis said.

“But you have it. Does it mean sometimes I might catch you wearing it?”

Isis looked away. “No.”

Mai snickered. “Darling, we all have terrible gay clothes. No need to be embarrassed.”

“I’ve never seen you in something like that” Isis pointed out.

“You haven’t? Well that won’t do.”

Mai put the shirt down for a moment, and went to undo her corset. Isis’ mouth opened as Mai threw her top aside. Mai winked at her, before grabbing the discarded t-shirt and putting it on.

“Now you have!” she declared proudly.

“You are terrible” Isis said, shaking her head.

“Aw, you’re just disappointed I covered the goods.“

“…no.”

Mai pointed at the shirt. “The offer stands, by the way.”

Absolutely terrible.“

And about the not like other girls thing through all of pjo the Aphrodite cabin was shamed as the weak useless cabin who worried too much about their nails to fight and an Aphrodite girl as a MC that embraced all those girly things would have been a great message to the young girls that being a girl isnt demeaning I mean its great Rick gave us non conforming girls but its trendy in YA to shit on girly girls and glorify the not like other girls bs and the misogyny really needs to be put down.

i mean i really really think that “loving fashion and makeup doesn’t make you weak” is like very elementary level feminism that doesn’t really help anyone.

like, the point is that it’s a trap, you know? girls grow up being shoehorned and forced into this stereotypical feminine mold, and if you don’t conform to it you’ll be hated and if you do conform to it, you eventually realize that that’s still not good enough and they actually hate you anyway. you can’t win. it’s a trap.

and like for this reason “choice” feminism kind of falls flat, because it’s not actually possible to willingly choose to embrace the traditionally feminine mold.

so like i mean yes i obviously take issue with putting down “girly” girls for being shallow and stupid but that’s because i recognize that girls have been taught to be that way and like if you’re going to criticize that behavior then you should be criticizing the patriarchal structures who have set up the world so that girls are coercively forced into these patterns of behavior.

i) You’ve got a date tonight and you asked for advice on what to wear but I’m so in love with you and damn you look good in the outfit I picked out for you. With Veronica please

Veronica licks her lips, staring at you as you turn around in front of the full length mirror. You let out a heavy sigh, turning side to side and pouting a little.

“I don’t know, Ronnie, do you think I look good?” When your eyes meet hers through the mirror, she nods excitedly, trying to temp down the blush rising on her cheeks.

“Yeah, you look great babe. I mean, I do have pretty amazing fashion sense, don’t I?” You giggle at her own ego stroking, rolling your eyes as you stare at your reflection again.

Veronica is lost in how good you look, feeling her heart beating in her chest and twisting a little at the thought that you were going out on a date with someone who wasn’t her. She might be a little oblivious sometimes, but she can’t find it in her to ignore the way she feels when she’s around you. While she had always had this idea of what she felt for people, it was hard to push away what she thought might actually be the big ‘L’ word. Shaking her head of the thoughts, Veronica glances up to see you smiling softly.

“I hope Mark thinks I look good. I always get so nervous around him anyway,” you mumble, cheeks burning a little.

There it is again, that heart twisting, gut wrenching pain of jealousy. Veronica gives you the brightest smile she can muster, scolding herself for feeling such a way about her best friend. “If he doesn’t, then he must not be able to see the beautiful person you are.”

You turn to her then, reaching out and helping her to her feet. “Thanks, Ronnie. You always know what to say to make me feel better.” As you’re squeezing her tightly, the doorbell rings, and you gasp. “That’s him! I’d better get going. Wish me luck.”

Grabbing your purse, you run out the door, leaving Veronica standing in your bedroom and holding herself together.

“Good luck.”

The “L” and the knight

well, there are a lot of great theories about the meaning of the chess in Lena’s office and how it’s connected with her plans

but i can’t stop thinking about this extremely stupid theory

what if Lena has a huge well-thought-out lesbian plan to gain Kara’s heart?

you know, all this staff like heart-eyes, jealousy, flowers, flirting tone and “you are my hero” are parts of her plan

and the knight’s move means the last move

remember that the knight’s move looks like the letter “L”?

and the “L” stands for lesbian

boom

lmao i’m so stupid

What are good musicals you can listen to without watching? Since bootlegs are hard to come by. Dear Evan Hansen? Natasha Pierre and the great comet?

I mean of course there are musicals that you can literally listen to the entirety to and still understand the story (i.e., Phantom and Hamilton minus the Laurens interlude) but I really think you could listen to anything. Even if the story isn’t totally clear from the songs you’ll still find some hella nice bops. I’m sorry ik this wasn’t the answer you were looking for!

“I want a mainstream comedy show that doesn’t resort to homophobia/transphobia/racism/sexism/ableism for its jokes and is actually funny”

“I want a show where a gay, black person is in a position of power and is good at what they do”

“I want a show that addresses racism, homophobia, and sexism in a respectful manner while also being funny and lighthearted overall”

“I want a show with a diverse cast and characters that aren’t cheap stereotypes”

“I want a show that addresses the issues with our justice system, including high incarceration rates, police brutality, and racism.”

“I want a comedy show with actual plot and characters that I’ll get attached to.”
