I’ve come into some more stones and gravel, so I’m making the water-purifying storm drain/swale look more like a natural creek bed, where water can meander, and be purified while sediment settles, after coming out of the (soon to come) french drain, enroute to the duck pond

Digging a channel for a outlet pipe into the swale, from the stormwater drain that that will be installed under the pathways.

The ducks are rather presciently helping by eating the thin line of vegetation between the sheet mulch margin and the depression, during their daily swale swims.
