1 YEAR OF LEMONADE (April 23, 2016)

“My intention for the film and album was to create a body of work that would give a voice to our pain, our struggles, our darkness and our history. To confront issues that make us uncomfortable. It’s important to me to show images to my children that reflect their beauty, so they can grow up in a world where they look in the mirror, first through their own families — as well as the news, the Super Bowl, the Olympics, the White House and the Grammys — and see themselves, and have no doubt that they’re beautiful, intelligent and capable. This is something I want for every child of every race. And I feel it’s vital that we learn from the past and recognize our tendencies to repeat our mistakes.” - Beyoncé

Kuro 128 Prediction

This isn’t exactly a theory since it’s closer to something I think could immediately happen. So we already know that 127 ended with Sebastian and Ciel finding Agni and Soma. The attackers (assuming they’re Sirius and Polaris respectively) are gone, but for whatever reason, left Soma in the closet- if the knife wielder (Polaris) was strong enough to take on Agni, then breaking a door should have been no problem for him.

My prediction: The assassins are still in the townhouse.

Polaris stabbed Agni in the back to stop him from attacking Sirius, who tried to shoot Soma. In the chaos, Sirius slipped away and Agni locked Soma up. After Polaris killed Agni, he also left the scene. This is when Ciel and Sebastian arrived. Like everyone else, I think it’s likely Ciel is the real “target” here and this attack was a warning.

Anyway, my version of events goes like this: Polaris kills Agni –> he hears Ciel’s carriage pull up –> he doesn’t have time to get Soma before Sebastian arrives –> he goes into hiding, likely wherever Sirius went.

Side note: We only saw Sirius come through the front door in 127, which begs the question of where Polaris came from. I think he either broke (stealthily) into the house when Soma and Agni were having their conversation about Ciel, or broke in through the front door when Sirius took out his gun, distracting both Soma and Agni.

The main point: I think Sebastian and Ciel arrived at the exact same time the fight between Polaris and Agni ended. And next chapter won’t change scenery because Polaris and Sirius are still in the townhouse, plotting their next move now that Ciel’s here. Of course, I could be completely wrong and reading too much into the technical details.

@pixlokita scibbly comic for shinichi ½!

“Alright, alright,” Cleo laughs. “I’m just curious because I see the way you look at her, Caleb. I’m just looking out for my big bro’. It’s so different seeing you like this. You’ve always been all work and no play after all.”

Caleb nudges Cleo’s arm with his own, smiling fondly at her. “Hey, what happened to tough girl Cleo who only wanted to argue with her older brother?”

A groan falls from Cleo’s lips at the memory. “Shut up.”

short series on russel’s various experiences with spirits!

first pic: “… was expelled after attacking several students while possessed by a demon. He fell into a coma for the next four years, at the end of which, the demon was finally exorcised from his body by a priest named Father Merrin.”

third pic: “He secluded himself in Ike Turner’s basement to write his own album, but was plagued by hallucinations of demons flying out of the speakers.”

“In all honesty, though, thank you.“

Cleo rolls her eyes at him, smiling as she watches the way Caleb’s gaze flickers to Samantha every so often. “Gosh, you really are smitten. What happened to my idiot brother who couldn’t get a girl to like him even if he paid her,” she says teasingly, adding a laugh to ensure Caleb that she isn’t serious.

“What do you mean? I’ve been a total ladies man always, Cleo.”
