I am Hellene

Greece is still called Ellada (Hellas) by the Greeks. ‘Greece’ is derived from the Latin. The name Greece (in Latin Graecia) according to the oldest findings comes from the word Graeci, that firstly (according to the researchers) meant a group of people derriving from a city of Viotia named Graia. The presence of a city named Graia (which in our days means old) is referred at Homer.
