I can’t pretend that there is any other girl in the entire world for me. There will only ever be one girl. You.

What’s the matter? You look like you’ve seen a ghost…

Nobody knows the Ancient Egypt exhibit in Aquarine museum is actually an homage to this underrated Nickelodeon show that I’ve been obsessed with since it’s release in 2011, House of Anubis. Team Sibuna is on the case!

Find the treasure, or face the wrath of the gods, Ankha and Lucky.

I used to watch this TV show House of Anubis on Nickelodeon when I was in middle school, and I only watched like halfway through season 2, before I stopped watching. Honestly, that show was probably the last show I watched on Nickelodeon before I moved on to bigger and better shows.

But House of Anubis will always hold a special place in my heart, because it was the first show I got obsessed over. The show that introduced me to shipping. The first show/thing I looked up on a wiki. The first show I read excessive fanfiction about.

So recently, I went and looked up House of Anubis on its wiki to see what I missed in the last season and a half. AND ALL OF MY SHIPS WENT WRONG. ALL OF THEM. I don’t think you understand how devastating this is. These were ships that I obsessed and squealed about, my first OTPs, that the show spent a whole two seasons working up to and making them perfect. And what did they do in their last season? They threw them away and had everyone get together with people that they had never even interacted with before. I WANT TO FUCKING PUNCH ALL THE WRITERS.

EVERY. SINGLE. SHIP.

Now I’m curious. Did any of you guys watch House of Anubis? Anyone else feel my pain?

Why do "fans" hate change?
  • Adam Young, 2012: I just released the Shooting Star EP, check it out!
  • Many HootOwls: Owl City's changed, I'm no longer a fan!
  • Me: Really? Still sounds like authentic Adam to me!
  • Nathalia Ramos, 2012: I'm leaving House of Anubis to focus on my schooling.
  • Many HOA fans, 2013: No Nina, no Sibuna, annoying KT, I'm no longer a fan!
  • Me: Really? If you like Nina more than HOA, then you're a fan of Nathalia, not the show!
  • BBC, 2017: Introducing Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor!
  • Many Whovians: They now cast a woman as the Doctor? To please the SJWs? I'm no longer a fan!
  • Me: This is more ridiculous than any of the other two reasons for no longer being fans above. Seriously? Adam Young experimented with his style, and an actress who played a major character left a kids show, and you're upset because it didn't fit your preconceived notion of what it was anymore. But you at least gave it a chance, and if you didn't like it, that's your opinion.
  • But the Doctor regenerating into a woman for the first time? That's where you draw the line? It's so controversial that you won't even give Jodie a chance? Just because a role that was always played by a male is now being played by a female? Even though the General was a woman, and don't forget about Missy... Come on! Personally, I don't care for one second that our favorite time lord will soon be a time lady.
  • All I'm asking is that you at least give the 13th Doctor a chance. I didn't like Peter Capaldi at first, either, but now I'm sad to see him leave. If you don't like her after her first episode (and no, this year's Christmas special doesn't count; her first full episode), that's fine. But don't go all crazy just because we have our first female doctor... that's all I'm saying!!
