gordon gekko: wall street

3

We’re excited to reveal we’ve acquired the comic book license to the legendary Wall Street movie series and our Rick and Morty comic which debuts today is a crossover between these two iconic franchises!

We feel like a million bucks now that we can finally share Rick and Morty: The Wubba Lubba Dub Dub of Wall Street #1 with the world. Look forward to appearances from fan favorite Wall Street characters such as Gordon Gecko (the most ruthless businessman in twelve dimensions and a real gecko-human hybrid created in Rick’s lab set on revenge), Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen wearing fake dog-ears on his head), Darien Taylor (Morty’s love interest Jessica, who’s only playing him for the money) and Bud’s father Carl Fox (Martin Sheen wearing fake dog-ears on his head).

In Rick and Morty: The Wubba Lubba Dub Dub of Wall Street Rick will learn that every dream has a price, money never sleeps, more is never enough, greed is good and focus on science.

“I’m sorry, Morty, it’s a bummer. In reality, you’re as dumb as they come. And I needed that money real bad, and I had to give it up just to get your parents off my back. So now we’re gonna have to go get more. And you’re gonna keep your mouth shut about it, Morty. Because the world is full of idiots that don’t understand what’s important. And they’ll tear us apart, Morty. But if you stick with me, I’m gonna accomplish great things, Morty. And you’re gonna be part of them.“ - Rick, Rick and Morty: The Wubba Lubba Dub Dub of Wall Street

Is happiness important these days? How can we be happy? What steps do you suggest?

Happiness was never important. The problem is that we don’t know what we really want. What makes us happy is not to get what we want. But to dream about it. Happiness is for opportunists. So I think that the only life of deep satisfaction is a life of eternal struggle, especially struggle with oneself. We all remember Gordon Gekko, the role played by Michael Douglas in Wall Street. What he says, breakfast is for wimps, or if you need a friend buy yourself a dog, I think we should say something similar about happiness. If you want to remain happy, just remain stupid. Authentic masters are never happy; happiness is a category of slaves.
