googly pony

Bookworm: I feel funny Dash.  Like I see a LOT more things.  And my eyes are shaky.

PD: Just make the threatening face, Bookworm.

Bookworm: I’m doing my best.

((Lazy post, yes.  But I had to do a follower reaction when Googly Pony followed PD ;P So I put some googly eyes bought today and put it on the sketch of the ‘Call to Arms’ update.  Thank you for the follow you silly pony you!))

Today we have Googly Pony from Next Level Googly!

There’s something to be said about a blog that defines itself as “arts” and “crafts”. What that something is, I have yet to figure out. All I know is this guy puts googly eyes on trading cards (among other things) and I thought that was hilarious.

Regardless, this card went though more design changes than I care to admit. At first, I wanted something to do with Googly Counters - that was an absolute must, but I wanted the movement of these counters to have some immediate effect. Instant control was too powerful, and requiring multiple counters was a headache and too slow. So the Googly Counters now double as +1/+1 counters, and additionally create a balance where spreading them out makes Googly itself weaker. However, replaying Googly doesn’t reset counters in play, so you can spread the Googly love all around the board and grab control of things at the most opportune time!

You can find Googly Pony’s blog over HERE.
