google's doodle game

“Je suis désolé mon ami, but i can’t let you continue any further”

i have a weakness for vaguely threatening short people

Earlier this year, @surasshu and I composed music for Google Doodles’ Fruit Games, a series of minigames celebrating the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. We drew inspiration from Brazilian composers and musicians that we love, such as Caetano Veloso, Jobim, and Banda Black Rio, as well as samba/batucada styles.

Music: Aivi & Surasshu
Trumpet performance: Lachlan Day
Flute/piccolo performance: Kristin Naigus
Guitar performance: Stemage

AHH I’M SO EXCITED FOR TODAY!

Google has a new (amazing) Doodle up today honoring the 155th Anniversary of The Pony Express, and I was lucky enough to be asked to contribute and produce a Behind-The-Scenes animated short for the occasion!  (So yes just in case anyone wonders were I’ve been for the last month, it was working furiously on this project XD)

Check out both the Doodle and the video, I had such a blast working on this and I’m really excited for folks to see it at last!

(But be warned…that game is really addictive)
