So my really close friend [Terry] has an amazing DBZ oc named Batata (pictured on the left)who’s an elite saiyan, and after seeing some art of her, I couldn’t help but bring back a really old DBZ OC I had in the form of a Majin named Lux. Really it was just for the sole purpose of teaming them up together as a dysfunctional duo that’s ripe for all sorts of shenanigans that I will probably never draw. But at the same time it was fun to do an update to a super old fandom OC I had from years and years ago.
They’re both world-destroying level entities but one is short, angry, and weak to food, and the other is tall, goofy, and gives off distinct “your friend’s one hot aunt” vibes.
lemme tell y’all about a little something called Dog Coins.
Dog Coins are a currency used by dogs all around the world. look around where your dog sleeps. if your dog isnt careful enough, youll find its wallet. and let me tell you what you can find.
theres a lot of things you can find in your Dog’s Wallet. for instance:
and much much more
Dog Bones are the dog equivalent to us dollars. One Dog Bone is worth the same as 100 Dog Coins. But they are much more than just a dollar. they are also used to be eaten. imagine: chocolate bars, and dollars, mixed into one. now that, is innovation. something no human could come up with.
back to Dog Coins for a moment. each dog coin is gold, with a famous dog printed on one of the sides. such as:
And Brian Griffin
Thats about it for dog coins. if you have any other questions. just ask me. i know about many other unknown currencies, such as: bags of ice from walmart, fushigi balls, and coca cola bottle caps. thank you
I really like this picture because it describes who they are from what we can see through interviews/IG stories/etc. (and my POV)
1. Camila: laughing with Lili light heartedly about Cole
2. Cole: just making everyone laugh at his goofiness (and I think he’s like rly hot in this pic 😂😍)
3. KJ: just awkwardly standing there, inwardly laughing
5. Luke: I’m the oldest here, so I should try and act mature
6. Madelaine: sweetly standing there with great fashion
7. Lili: laughing with Camila, but also 😍ing at Cole
So apparently there’s a couple people who when Goofy “died” they wanted him to stay dead….I mean to each their own, but Goofy really?
I get Donald cause he isn’t the nicest duck on the block but Goofy’s very sweet….also he used to be the source of a lot of adult humor (as in humor only adults would get, not the other kind of adult humor). Yeah he can be dumb to the point of annoying sometimes but I don’t know wanting him dead seems a bit much.
Only in NYC can you have a convo and a goofy face-off in the middle of the street with acclaimed actor, Norman Reedus ..you know…Murphy MacManus from The Boondocks Saints…and my nigga Daryl Dixon, from THE WALKING DEAD!!!! So blessed, man. Keep up the chase. You’ll see amazing things happen.
I was not happy about the "full frontal" in the last episode, because I immediately thought that it could be a disservice. Not only because of the "was it real" talk that might take the focus off his performance, but also because I found the scene goofy and a bit ridiculous (I laughed out loud). Personally I think HBO should back Alex for awards, because Nicole's (and maybe Reese's) nom will be a slamdunk. IMO, HBO could afford to campaign for Alex without risking the females being overlooked.
It looks like HBO will be campaigning for Alexander Skarsgård in Big Little Lies after all! Let’s hope this [article] from @THR is correct:
Hopefuls from HBO’s A-list limited entry Big Little Lies may bring even more intrashow battles. Reese Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley all plan to submit as lead, a category where Feud stars Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange already look likely. The race between Big Little Lies’ male players is even more crowded. Adam Scott, Alexander Skarsgard, Jeffrey Nordling and James Tupper are all being submitted for supporting player. (Laura Dern and Zoe Kravitz are said to be targeting supporting in the actress race.) Notes one campaign strategist of the many potential conflicts, “The more you have these big ensembles, the harder it is to break these individuals out.”
Please, please let this be true! Alex played Perry Wright perfectly. He deserves to be noticed for his performance
I agree that the “full frontal” wasn’t necessary but I think they may have put it in to show that Celeste getting back at the thing he probably treasures most.
I REALLY wish we got to see some back story on why Perry is such an abuser and at the very least, when the abuse started with Celeste. Maybe they’ll show us in the finale, but they sure have a lot of ground to cover in one episode. She could end up saying when it started if she tells Madeline about it like her therapist asked her to do.
maybe it’s cheesy and dumb of me to do, but I legitimately want to say a few words in memory of this game.
I was always a shy and awkward kid, suffering from bad social anxiety as far back as I can really remember. When I was 7 and stumbled upon Club Penguin, it was like pure magic, It was whimsical, funny, innocent, exciting, and enormous. I was in love.
As lame as it sounds, this game shaped me in a lot of ways. I realized that being goofy is okay, and humor can always lighten up any situation.
I learned that people of all different colors (literally!) can come together and share in their differences, learning from one another and creating a better community.
I realized that, sometimes, you really just have to throw yourself out there to achieve what you want, whether that be making new friends, getting people to visit your lame igloo, or joining in on a group.
As time went by, I stopped playing as devoutly as I had once done, but it was still something I came back to on late nights, in moments of nostalgia or sadness or being overwhelmed. It was always a comfort, a secret little wonderland full of goofy penguins that I could escape to for a while when I needed to.
And so, with all my nerdy gushing aside, I say this; as weird as it was, as childish of a game it was, and as long as it’s been around, Club Penguin was so much of my childhood. I’m gonna miss it a lot.
This almost-perfect movies is, I feel, an answer to so many women’s prayers. It’s an action comedy where the sexy/badass lead, the cute goofy sidekick, AND the lead villain are all women - as are the CIA director, a top CIA agent, and a secondary villain. This fact is not highlighted (perhaps because they are still outnumbered by men in the cast) - but to have Melissa McCarthy, Miranda Hart, and Rose Byrne is pretty damn epic. It is laugh-out-loud hilarious while also serving up tons of legitimate and entertaining action sequences.
(Its main glaring flaw? Peter Serafinowicz’s rapey Italian caricature. I don’t know whose idea that was, but it is truly awful and irredeemable, marring what is otherwise a masterpiece.)
