You sit in silence, nibbling on your bottom lip and tapping your foot against the carpeted floor. You’ve taken your fair share of difficult classes throughout the years, but nothing compares to the discomfort that comes with someone reading something that you’ve written. It’s as if all of your thoughts have been placed under a microscope, leaving every single imperfection out in the open for anyone to see. After taking this writing class, you have a newfound respect for all the authors who are willing to put their work out there.
“I must admit, I was a little apprehensive when you said that you were planning to scrap your initial idea and start afresh,” T’Challa says, carefully lowering your laptop onto the coffee table. He leans forward, resting his elbows on his knees and propping his chin in his hand.
“That was Carpool Karaoke with the lovely Y/N,” James Corden said to the camera before turning to face you.
You had spent a day with him driving around in LA having fun. Your first album was released two weeks ago and quickly rose to number one on the charts. You were relieved to hear the positive response from your old fans who only knew you from acting jobs, but also from your new fans. You could now proudly say you had successfully transitioned from acting to singing.
“Thank you so much for being here. I gotta say, I absolutely love your new album!” he praised.
“Thank you,” you smiled, “That means a lot and I can honestly say that was one of the funniest car rides in my entire life.”
You had been on The Late Late Show once before promoting a movie, and it was one the best interviews you have had. James was magnificent at making you feel comfortable, having other celebrities by your side helped, but his kind and hilarious personality made you feel right at ease.
James smiled, before talking about the songs.
“So, there are rumours that some of the songs are written about a special person,” James wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
“Oh, no” you laughed dismissing it, ”there’s no one special in my life right now.”
“Well, if you need someone,” a voice butted in. Turning to your side, the other guest, Sebastian Stan was smirking in your direction pointing at himself.
“I mean, imagine having a song written about you and getting to say it’s the incredible Y/N who wrote it” he continued, “I could die happily.” He laid an arm on the back of the couch smiling cockily. You could feel the heat radiating from his body and if you leant back, his muscular arm would touch your back.
“What’s going on here?” James gestured confusedly but excitedly.
“Can I just say,” he turned to once again face you,” I feel like I’ve seen you all my life and you look so great,” his blue eyes gazed into yours and when he laid a hand on yours, small sparks of electricity ran through your body. You laughed at the attention trying to remember he was a great actor just flirting for the fun of it.
“You’re a joke. You’re actually going for it!”, James jumped in his seat,” You’re ridiculous. You’re actually going for it. I love it. I love it!”
“Why not,” Sebastian questioned,” when I have this incredibly gorgeous woman sitting next to me with a voice of an angel?”
You laughed in disbelief over how far he was willing to go but felt a warm fuzzy feeling spread inside.
“So, Sebastian you are originally from Romania, right?” James asked once the audience settled down.
“That’s true, yeah.”
“So obviously you are fluent in Romanian. How would one go about asking Y/N out?” You knew James kept this subject going as it would get more views but you kinda also didn’t want Sebastian to stop flirting.
Sebastian nodded in thought before moving closer and once again laying an arm behind you with one leg crossing the other.
Without thinking, you asked the first thing that popped into your head when James said Romania.
“Would you bite me in the neck?”
"Oh my God.” Disbelief showed on his face and the audience was silent for a moment. Then he swept in low and went for your neck as laughs filled the room. You pushed him away slightly giggling but his warm breath on your neck sent your mind into dark places.
“Don’t make me do it.” he raised his voice slightly pointing his finger before taking a sip of his water.
The audience was still in stitches as you tried to remedy the situation by clarifying what you meant. Dracula had his castle in Romania right?
“So, there really is no one special in your life right now?” James asked returning to the first question.
“No, there really isn’t,” you shook your head before placing a hand on Sebastian thick thigh, “but in the future, there might be?” You looked over at Sebastian and gave him a wink.
“Dear lord,” he ran a hand through his soft looking hair licking his lips, “You’re gonna be the death of me woman.” James grinned widely at the scene in front of him.
“Any chance of you going out with him Y/N?”
“I mean, I gotta say, he is pretty cute.” You retorted giving him a smile. Sebastian’s once cocky attitude disappeared and light pink dusted his cheeks as he felt onto the couch.
James laughed loudly at the change, “Oh, look at him!”
“You were so cocksure, and now you’re a blushing mess.” he stood up from his chair in excitement.
It was actually quite adorable how flustered he got from your words resorting to hiding his smiling face in his hand.
“And here you have it, ladies and gentlemen. The next power couple brought to you on The Late Late Show!” James yelled into the camera still grinning widely.

You said your goodbyes to James before leaving to your dressing room with one last glance at Sebastian who had been caught by a few adoring stagehands.
A small knock on your door brought you to your feet again. You set down the slice of pizza you had ordered to be here once the show finished. After almost tripping over the discarded shoes on the ground you made it to the door.
The same man who had made you feel butterflies and giggly stood outside your door awkwardly.
“Hi,” Sebastian spoke and you could almost feel the nervousness roll of him.
You responded giggling at the complete 180 degrees turn from cocky to shy.
“I” he paused muttering “I’m really doing this” under hisbreath before continuing.
“I just wanted to tell you I meant everything I said out there. I really think you are amazing and unbelievably gorgeous,” his stare on the ground lifted and you could see the nerves swimming in his deep blue orbs.
“I was just wondering if you would like to go on a date with me?” he bit his lip and ran a hand through his hair.
“You really got stop doing that,” you said breathlessly as more butterflies filled your stomach. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion not quite catching what you meant.
“Biting your lip and running your hand through your hair.” you clarified, “It makes me think and want to do things I shouldn’t.” This time his eyes widened at your confession and a sliver of lust showed.
“And yes, I would like to go out with you.” you grinned.
He sighed in relief and a smile spread on his beautiful face.
“I got pizza in here if you want to join?” you gestured inside and the twinkle in his eye was more than enough to account for his answer. You put out a hand and when his fingers intertwined with yours, feeling the same spark from before, you pulled him into your dressing room.

“What happened to us, James?”
He was silent then, shrugging off his jacket before running a hand through his hair. “We used to be best friends…”
You stiffened at that statement, shaking your head and biting your lip. He was wrong. Hearing him say that sent a sharp pain through your chest. “No. No. Bucky was my best friend, not…not you.”
He stared at you, carefully studying your face. “Uh, Y/N? Did you hit your head on something? Are you okay? Did you drink too much? You do realize that I’m Bucky, right?”
I’ve seen you cry, I’ve seen you smile
I’ve watched you sleeping for a while
I’d be the father of your child
I’d spend a lifetime with you
I know your fears and you know mine
We’ve had our doubts but now we’re fine
And I love you, I swear that’s true
I cannot live without you
The first time James saw her, she was frowning. Stood by the Hogwarts Express, with her her fiery red hair plaited haphazardly into two braids, she appeared to be arguing with a blonde girl who he guessed must be her sister. He watched as the aforementioned blonde- who was wearing a particularly sour expression- sneered something at her and stormed off, leaving the red-head’s shoulders to slump as she hugged her parents goodbye. James wondered if her sister was always that stroppy.
The first time she laid eyes on him, he was laughing. Stood outside the compartment she was sat in with Sev, his hair a haphazard mess as he chatted with an aristocratic boy who looked liked he belonged to a rich family. He wore expensive robes and rounded glasses like her father did, but that didn’t fool her; she knew by their smirks that they were troublemakers- boys her mother warned her to stay away from- and Lily hoped they wouldn’t sit in her compartment.
The first time they scowled at each other, she was filled with pride as the hat called GRYFFINDOR! and he watched her hurry over to the table he was sat at. He wondered if she’d come and sit by him, but from the way her nose wrinkled as their eyes met, he figured she probably wouldn’t. Strange, he thought, as she glared up at him from the table. No one had ever disliked him before. He glared back anyway.
The first time they smiled at each other, they had just stopped Mulciber from hexing a Hufflepuff boy in their Care of Magical Creatures lesson. Who knew two first years could pull off a Twitchy-ears hex on a third year? As he ran off, red-faced and clutching his ears, they couldn’t help but share a smile. They knew payback would most likely be coming, but they couldn’t help a small moment of victory.
The first time they argued with each other, it happened in the middle of the Gryffindor common room, and had something to do with Severus. No one really understood what had happened over the spitting of insults between the pair, but they couldn’t understand how James Potter wasn’t afraid of the furious red-head, (though he was secretly
marvelling at the pretty girl who was surprisingly as sharp-tongued as Sirius). When wands were drawn, it was Remus who split it up.
The first time they laughed with each other was in third year. After two years of rivalry, it came as a shock to the whole of Gryffindor when Lily Evans and James Potter both burst out laughing at an apparently ‘hilarious’ expression Sirius Black was wearing. The disgruntled victim thought they’d been hit by a cheering charm, which only made the pair laugh harder. They went back to their feud the very next day.
The first time they were partnered up together was in potions class. She decided he was a ‘big-headed idiot’ as they bickered over which ingredients to put in the potion, and he refused to let her stir. He concluded she was a ‘right know-all’, but he couldn’t deny he liked her sarcastic streak- not that he’d ever tell her that. A row ensued when their potion exploded all over their desk, and Slughorn decided he wouldn’t pair them up again.
The first time he asked her out had been in fourth year. It had sort of- somehow- slipped out mid-argument, and after surprise had flashed in her eyes she’d replied ‘never in your wildest dreams’. To cover up his disappointment, James had made it a running joke from then on, though his pride had been hurt for at least a month.
The first time they pranked someone together, their victim was Bellatrix. It had to be- it was, of course, her last day, and she definitely deserved it. The bucket of maple syrup and feathers had been James’s idea, but the finishing touch of the Tarantallegra charm had been Lily’s. James had stated she’d done a “Good job, Evans”, rather begrudgingly. She’d held back a grin.
The first time they snuck out together, it was to collect chocolates for Remus on his birthday, in fifth year. Lily had once stated she’d “never go under Potter’s invisibility cloak”, which he happily reminded her of multiple times on the journey. They may or may not have eaten some of the chocolate on the way back, but Remus didn’t mind. In fact, Lily had never seen him happier.
The first time they cried together was the sixth year, just before they left for Christmas, when James’s father had passed away. She’d found him by the fire and sat with him until morning, both pretending they weren’t scared of this war as they clutched hands. Lily visited him for the first time that holiday, with a bouquet of flowers for his mum.
The first time they got drunk together they played exploding snap in Lily’s dorm until three a.m. The game ended when Sirius and Marlene started making out a little too ferociously, and Peter passed out on the floor, snoring. Remus and James helped carry him back to their dorm and Lily went to bed with her heart beating quickly and a smile on her face.
The first time they went on a date, it wasn’t planned. Well, not by them at least. Their friends abandoned them, leaving them red-cheeked when they cottoned on. They’d gone to the Three broomsticks anyway, and laughed until they cried over a pitcher of butterbeer. James couldn’t help but feel he was falling completely, and Lily decided that maybe her heart had thawed a little for the boy she once loathed. Their friends wore smug looks for a fortnight afterwards.
The first time they kissed, it was Lily who initiated it, surprisingly. They’d been skipping around each other for weeks, and she finally had the guts to do it at a celebratory quidditch party when she was (more than a little bit) tipsy, and decided she had nothing to lose. It was sloppy and haphazard, but Lily thought her insides might explode. James wouldn’t stop grinning.
The first time he told her he loved her, they were seventeen. She was sprawled on the grass, a book in her hand and her hair fanning out behind her. He’d known it for a long time, he realised, looking at the concentration on her face. It seemed to slip off his tongue so easily that he didn’t even realise it had been said. Lily whispered it back as she entwined her hands around his neck and their lips connected.
The first time they had sex it was awkward and embarrassing, but pleasant at the same time. It wasn’t anything like they’d seen in muggle movies; there was giggling, (mostly on Lily’s part, much to the annoyance of James), and low murmurs of encouragement, but by the time they were done both were smiling. The second time was much, much better.
The first time they saw their baby, they were twenty years old. Lily never thought she could love someone as much as she loved James, but oh, how wrong she was. As they held their son between them, she never thought she could love anything quite as much as her two boys, with their messy dark hair and beautiful hearts. She thought her own heart might explode with the strength of her love.
The last time they saw each other she was cradling their little baby in her arms. And, as the wand was pointed at his face, no one could know how James wished he’d turned to look at her just one last time before she’d left the room- even though he didn’t really need to. As his eyes closed, a picture of her was burned into his mind, as bright as the sun.
It’s a usual night at Sirius’ flat. James is holding a beer, laughing out loud, as Lily is embracing him on the couch. As always, they look adorable. You give a quick stare to Sirius to your right. He’s laughing warmly at what James is saying. You don’t really listen to whatever he’s telling because you’re too focused on Sirius’ smile. His lips. You’ve been out and about since the school ended. It’s been two years already and you feel like you both are driven away from each others. Between you two, it always been passionate. But lately, he’s been more distant. There’s a war coming, everybody knows it. Maybe this is just it. It always has been just about sex. He was never going to settle down. Never. Remus is staring blankly at the boys but he doesn’t look like he’s totally there. There’s something on his mind right now, but you can’t tell what is it. He’s sweating a little bit, he actually looks like he caught some cold. Remus have been drinking quite a lot tonight, more than usual. Maybe this explains why he looks so far distant. ‘Moony?’ says James, waving his hand in front of Remus’ eyes. 'You there?’ Remus jumps. 'Yep. Sorry.’ 'I think it’s time to go, James’ says Lily with a warm laugh. 'What, no!’ says Sirius, shaking the almost empty whisky bottle in his hand and filling Remus’ glass once more. 'Don’t you think he had enough already?’ you say to Sirius. He turns back to look at you with a childish pout. But he looks deeply at his friend and knows that it’s maybe time to call it off. 'Fine! Moony, you’re sleeping here tonight.’ You turn around to look at Remus. He’s already sleeping. You guess he just needed to know the party was over. Anyway, he wouldn’t have gone very far by the way he looks. Not only he had a lot to drink, but he didn’t look like he was in a great shape either. You kiss goodbye James and Lily as they disappear behind the door. Sirius takes your hand. 'You staying tonight?’ he asks with a smirk on his face. You know exactly what this expression means. You’ve seen it a hundred times. You put your hand on his chest. 'Nah, I’m going to go home, I’m tired.’ He pouts again and it makes you chuckle. 'You are impossible! Remus is just next to your room, what if he hears us?’ 'He’s passed out, love’ Sirius answers, tickling his cheek against yours. Sirius never wanted people to know you two were seeing each other. And you were kind of okay with it because you didn’t want anybody to judge you because you were sleeping with the worst playboy Hogwarts had known. You take Sirius’ hand and lead him silently into his bedroom, after you glance one last time to see Remus sound asleep, tucked into the couch like a baby. You close the door behind you as you fall into Sirius’ arms, swearing, as usual, that it’s the last time. You’re too old for these foolish games. At first it was fun. Sirius is a great lover, you have to admit it. But you want more and it’s impossible with him. You kind of made peace with this fact.
There’s a sound that wakes you up, making you jump in fear in the bed. It takes you a few seconds to realize where you are. You look at your right and see Sirius sleeping next to you, his arm resting on your naked stomach. You try to get up of the bed but he squeezes you gently next to him. 'Sirius? There was a noise’ you say. But he doesn’t answer. He’s sleeping deeply. You get on the tip of your toes and take your wand on the night table. It’s always ready, these days are dangerous. You grab Sirius’ t-shirt and put back your underwear. You open silently the door of the bedroom and walk to the provenance of the strange noise. You feel silly.
You see the bathroom’s light turned on as Remus isn’t on the couch anymore. You sigh, relieved. You walk to the door and the scene before your eyes makes you panicked. 'Remus, are you okay?’ you ask as you reach for a clean towel. His left rib is completely scratched, deeply and there’s a lot of blood around it. At the sound of your voice, he steps back in fear and try to hide his body with the shirt he was holding. 'What the hell happened?’ you say as you reach for the shirt, but he steps back. 'Remus? Let me take care of it.’ 'Go away Y/N, I’m okay’ he says, but his voice seems off, like he is really hurting right now. 'You’re clearly not, show me your wound’ you reply angrily. He rolls his eyes and he drops the shirt on the ceramic floor. 'Merlin, Remus. How did you end up like this? Why didn’t you tell anyone? Is that why you were drinking that much?’ You clench your teeth together as you look at the flesh-wound cut. It looks like it hurts like hell. You wet the fresh towel and wring it. 'This is going to hurt’ you tell him, before applying the linen on his wound. He hisses silently but you can read the distress on his face. You look at the cut again, trying to wipe the blood away. 'Sit down’ you tell Remus, pointing at the counter. He nods and sit painfully on it, while you’re searching into the cabinets. You find some bandage. Remus is following you with his gaze as you wet another clean towel with freezing water. You push it gently on his forehead, then down on his neck. 'You’re burning’ you sigh. 'Keep it still if you can.’ He holds the towel on his face as you start to rip some bandage to cover his wound up. You then look for a bottle of disinfectant. You grab it and you freeze in front of him. 'I’m sorry. This is not going to be fun’ you say, with an awkward smile. He scoff. 'Don’t worry Y/N. I’m used to.’ You frown your eyebrows. You then notice the other scars all over his body. He has a large one on his chest but it looks quite old. It makes the other little scars nothing compared to it. You look again in his eyes and without thinking about it, you look at the aged scar crossing his face. You always thought it was adorable, actually. 'How could you hurt yourself so bad…’ you say, more to yourself than to him. He looks at you intensely. 'I think you know what it’s about’ he says. 'You’ve been around quite enough…’ You don’t reply. You always thought that he was a werewolf. It started with his sudden disappearances when there was a full moon. Then the scars that were adding up on his body each time he’d come back. You never said anything, nor asked questions. Not because you were scared, but because you knew how Remus was discreet and reserved. You didn’t want to make him uncomfortable. Anyway, his condition never mattered to you. He was your friend, a dear one and you wanted him to be happy. You start soaking some cotton with the disinfectant. 'Take a deep breath’ you say as you apply the cotton on the wound. He growls and hisses. He punches the counter so heavily that he makes his knuckles bleed. 'Really Remus? Didn’t lose enough blood already?’ you say. 'It hurts like hell Y/N!’ 'I didn’t even get to the worst part of your wound!’ He sighs heavily. 'You need to get a grip on something…’ you say, looking at some random object he could grab while you’re dealing with his wound. Nothing looks like it’s going to do it. 'Squeeze my arm’ you finally say. 'What? No! I don’t want to hurt you!’ he says with round eyes. 'I don’t mind, Remus! Just squeeze it and we are going to get over with this!’ You put his hand on your right arm as you reach for another imbibed cotton. 'I’m going to take care all of it, one shot, okay? Be ready…’ He doesn’t look reassured but he closes his eyes, waiting for the pain to seize him. As you apply the cotton on the wound again, you feel his whole body becoming stiff. He’s squeezing your arm too gently. His breathing becomes jerky and irregular. 'Squeeze my arm!’ you shout at him. You feel him grab you more tightly. You look at his face, his eyes still closes, his teeth still clenched. Sweat pearls at the birth of his hairline. 'A little bit more’ you say as you reach for the most profound part of his wound. He looks like he’s going to pass out. 'Grab my arm, Remus! Stay the fuck with me!’ you say as you feel his nails clenching into your skin. It hurts a lot but never like the pain Remus seems to endure right now. 'It’s over’ you say, throwing the cotton soaked with blood in the trash next to you. You wash your hands and see the water turning red down the sink. You feel Remus’ hand reaching for your burning arm. 'Shit, Y/N’ he says, looking at the red marks he did to you. 'It’s nothing’ you say, trying to smile to reassure him. 'It’s not, I didn’t realize, I’m sorry’ he says, distraught. 'Remus, I’m okay, really’ you add. You feel his warm breath on your face. There’s a strange feeling in your stomach. You grab the bandages on the counter as you start to apply one on the tip of the wound. Both saying nothing, there’s only the sound of the warm night that keeps you alert. You continue to put the bandages on his cut, and you’re almost finished. You apply yourself very gently as you finally covered every teared skin. Slowly, you slide your finger on his ribcage, like this only gesture is going to heal him. You know it’s not, but it’s stronger than you. 'There you go’ you whisper, still staring at the now dressed wound. You can’t pull your finger off his skin. 'Thank you, Y/N. Really… but you didn’t have to…’ Remus says, running his index on your burning arm. He looks like he feels sorry a lot. 'I wanted to’ you answer, running your finger on the old scar that crosses his chest. 'Don’t look at that’ he says, pulling his finger off from your arm. He gets off the counter and reaches slowly to his shirt. He tries to put it but it looks like this only move is hurting him. 'Let me help you’ you propose. 'I’m fine’ he says, trying to hide. 'Remus, I saw all of them. I don’t mind, let me help’ you say as you reach him. You take the shirt in your hands and you help him putting it back. 'Nobody should have to look at that.’ You roll your eyes. 'It’s just scars!’ 'Well, if you know why I get so many of them, I don’t know why you’re still standing in front of me. You should run, you should be disgusted!’ he says, running a hand in his hair, impatient. You feel sad. 'Remus’ you say, stepping in front of him. He sighs. 'You are not, in any way, disgusting. And these scars, it’s part of you. You shouldn’t be ashamed.’ He closes his eyes as you run your hand underneath his shirt. He steps away but you insist. 'See? There is nothing revolting there. Your skin, it’s so soft, actually’ you say, closing your eyes too. You hit a bumpy relief. 'And those, it’s just… really it’s just like a map’ you say, running your finger slowly up and up until you reach his heart. Both eyes closed, you feel your lips touching. You hear Remus sighs heavily as he grabs your hair and gets lost in the kiss. On the tip of your toes, you squeeze your body more unto him. Suddenly, your mouths are both opened and you let your tongue slide on the tip of his soft lips and he answers with his. You feel his long fingers searching for your skin as he lift up gently your shirt.
He stops abruptly, noticing Sirius’ t-shirt on your body.
'I shouldn’t be doing this’ he says, pushing you gently from him. 'I’m sorry.’ Confused, you look at him. 'Remus, I-’ 'I’m sorry, I should go’ he says, leaving the bathroom. You look at him grab his bag and he opens the door. 'Thanks for the bandages’ he says before disappearing behind the closed door.
There was that great moment when little Sibby hugged Barrow (Rob James-Collier) goodbye. It was like there was an audible “awww” from the others in the room. They seemed so touched by that. Engler: You know what, that wasn’t scripted. She just ran and did that. There was that reaction, and then after it happened, I said, “Okay, everybody. That’s exactly what the reaction should be.” Because Rob, who plays Barrow, was always working with the children, he developed a very close relationship with them and they really liked playing with him and seeing him. It was a very similar kind of relationship to the one in the show, so a lot of that stuff didn’t even have to be acted.
Neame: I think that probably is quite realistic. The autocratic children had very strong bonds with the servants because they didn’t spend very much time with their own parents. It did feel very spontaneous. I like the fact that a bit of Sybil lives on with Sibby. X
You touched my heart, you touched my soul
You changed my life and all my goals
And love is blind and that I knew when,
My heart was blinded by you
I’ve kissed your lips and held your head
Shared your dreams and shared your bed
I know you well, I know your smell
I’ve been addicted to you
Hey bby could ya do a Remus x reader where they are caught
making out by James Peter and Sirius and they’re all teasing Remus and he’s so
embarrassed but the reader doesn’t care and just kisses him again ?? sorry if
it’s too much xx
sorry for the long wait but midterms were kicking my ass! hope you like it! xx
You’ve only been dating Remus for two weeks, you had both
decided to keep things on the down low for the time being because you knew how annoying your respective group of friends could be—between the marauders and Marlene and Lily, it was a
miracle the Daily Prophet didn’t know every aspect of yours and Remus’ life.
That’s why you and Remus only met after curfew, or before
the sun rose, much like today.
It was Saturday, an hour before sunrise, and you and Remus
were cuddling in front of the dying fire, you probably had like 2 hours before anyone
in Gryffindor tower wakes up and heads down for breakfast.
“You know, maybe we should tell them, that way we could
maybe cuddle in a warm bed…” Remus muttered, burying his face in the nape of
your neck. You snorted in response, laughing at how he wasn’t a morning person.
“Fine by me, are you ready for Sirius to give you the birds
and bees talk?”
“On second thought, maybe we should wait a bit more….” You hummed
Soon enough the sun was beginning to rise and the room was engulfed by waves of crimson and
gold. You were both still sitting next to each other, your legs on top of his long ones. Remus was lazily drawing patterns on your hand with his fingers, causing you to laugh every once in a while due to him tickling your sides. One thing
lead to another and shortly he flipped you both over, him on top of you, his hands were on your hips, yours were intertwine
in his hair, and your lips were on one another’s, forgetting the world around
Time seemed to completely stop as you two kissed, nothing
could ruin such a perfect moment, or so you thought.
“JAMES! JAA-AMES! COME QUICK! OUR LITTLE REMUS IS ALL GROWN
UP!” Sirius screamed from the top of the staircase.
You and Remus both sprung apart from each other, you quickly
tried to make yourself presentable, you fixed your jumper and tried to
tame your messy hair.
Remus on the other hand groaned as he buried his face in his hands as Sirius continued with his
“And when were you planning on presenting her to us?” James
said haughtily as he draped an arm around Sirius’ shoulders.
“Mummy is hurt that you kept your girlfriend a secret.” Sirius wailed.
“Oh shut up Sirius, for the last time stop referring to yourself
as my mother.” Remus said as he pinched the bridge of his nose.
“DON’T USE THAT TONE WITH YOUR MOTHER, YOUNG MAN.” James
said dramatically as Sirius clutched his heart.
“I didn’t know James and Sirius adopted you…” You muttered,
hoping to calm down Remus. You saw the beginnings of a smile on his face but
they were gone in a flash.
“I didn’t know you and Y/N knew each other.” Sirius said, smirking.
“Well they certainly got really acquainted now…” James said
as he wiggled his eyebrows, causing Remus to groan. You didn’t know how long
they were going to tease Remus but from the looks of it, it seemed to be for a
long time, something that you didn’t have.
“Well, I’ll leave you three to your little comedy fest. I’ll
meet you by the lake in an hour, okay?” you told Remus as he nodded, an annoyed
look on his face due to his friends. You stood on the tip of your toes
and kissed him goodbye, both of you momentarily forgot that you had a crowd but
after the teasing that they had done, you didn’t care. It wasn’t until Sirius
started whistling that you stopped.
You waved the boys goodbye, Sirius and James gave you an approving nod
and Remus waved bye, a dazed but content look on his face.
He was in awe of how you put up with his annoying friends
without getting embarrassed.

But you couldn’t hide the fact that you were beginning to grow lonely in his absence. Almost all his time was spent with John now, leaving you either alone, or at the bar with Liz. You told him of your dismay, and he was immediately remorseful, promising you a wonderful, extravagant date night, and that he would be certain to start giving you more attention.
Despite these promises, you found yourself alone at the bar on your date night. You had donned your loveliest dress, did your makeup without a single flaw, and you were convinced that your hair had never looked so fabulous. You quickly realized that it was all for naught, as you drank down your second martini, whilst venting to Liz.
