Actually, I thought it would be okay as long as you are fine. I have someone who would risk his life for me. I was happy enough to know I have someone who cherishes me. I thought, “Even if I die, I have no regrets. So please, don’t let him die.” That is what I was hoping.

If you die, I will die as well. If you are not fine, I will not be either. No matter what happens, you will come before myself to me. If you really care for me, you will take care of yourself. Promise me.

So I was flipping through the manga last night and I think I just found what may be one of my favorite reunion scenes of all time:

Prompt: You were chased by cops and took me as a hostage but you didn’t realized the cops were after me +

You were chased by cops and took me as a hostage and now we’re spending the night in a dusty barn +

A thunderstorm is rolling through town and Person A is afraid of lightening/thunder so Person B offers some comfort.

As the car raced down the street, away from the city and out into the countryside you wondered what had went wrong today that lead to you ending in this kind of situation.

You really had no answer, the day had begun like any other but somehow you doubted it would end like this.

“You’re going over the tempo limit, you should slow down.” Whatever devils had made you speak up it wasn’t a good idea but the silence was maddening and he was, for a fact, driving too fast.

“I’m being chased by the police. Of course I’m going over the tempo limit.” He says with a raised eyebrow, looking over at you as if he just realized you were still there.

The landscape had slowly changed and the sirens being heard from the city had long drowned out. Where you going to survive this? There was no way to be sure but you guessed being kidnapped wasn’t a good way to ensure your safety.

“What did you do anyway?”

“Killed someone.” Not good, not good at all. Maybe you shouldn’t have asked because now you were really starting to get scared.

“Why?” Could have been self defence after all.

“I like the blood.” Or not.

The car pulls away from the street, taking a route along an empty field until it stops in front of an old barn.

“Get out.”

“Are you going to kill me?” Your voice slightly breaks at the end, even though you try not to let it show.

“Don’t be silly.” He smirks, grabbing your hand to pull you with him, “You’re my hostage.”

Quivering, you sit in a corner of the old barn, eyeing the boy carefully as he walks around like a caged animal. He wouldn’t sleep, which meant you wouldn’t be able to escape. He wasn’t looking at you but you had no doubt he’d be by your side in seconds should you try anything.

“Hey…” You yell, calling out to him, “What’s your name?”

His eyes bore into yours as he turns around, a flicker of confusion showing for just a moment, “Raphael.”

“I’m Y/N.” He nods before his attention wanders back outside. He probably hadn’t even listen to you anymore.

You hadn’t fully been asleep but dozed off after a while. Your uneasy sleep was soon interrupted by the sound of thunder, roaring through the fields with force. Raindrops could be heard, drippling against the roof and falling to the ground through the leaks.

“Do you h-have a flashlight o-or something?” You ask in a small voice.

“Why?” He steps closer, eyeing you with curiosity.

“I’m kind of…uhm scared of thunder.” He removes a small light that was dangling from his key cars and hands it to you. You reach out, trying to take it but grab his shirt instead as a particularly loud noise rumbles through the barn.

“You really are scared huh…?” He muses with a little smirk. You grab his shirt tighter, forcing him to sit down beside you. In that moment you didn’t care who he was or what he had done.

Ever since you were little, loud noises and especially thunder had scared you. Apparently even more than a potential serial killer who was currently holding you hostage.

“You really shouldn't…” His hands move around your waist, “get…” His face moves closer, whispering into your ear, “…so close to me, Y/N.” His hold on you gets stronger, pulling you into his body. Your heart jumps, breath coming out in uneven intervals as you try to get your feelings under control. He was right. You shouldn’t get close to him but it helped against your fear, causing another in the process.

“You’re lucky I still need you…” He says in a smug voice, “The things I’d like to do to you right now…”

Your body tenses visibly, making him smirk again. You felt like prey, about to be taken down any minute, though the fatal blow never came.

The morning sunlight finally began to show, long after the storm had passed. You hadn’t been able to fall asleep again, at least you thought so but at some point Raphael must have gotten up. You looked around, with no luck. He wasn’t anywhere. When you went to leave the barn you saw the small note attached to the door.

‘You know the way back to the city. I’ll see you soon. -R.’

I think this is the single cutest thing Aro has ever done in the movies. Like just that slight head tilt??? That tiny smile??? He looks so frickin’ sweet and adorable in this one moment I can almost forget he’s responsible for the deaths of thousands of humans and would probably kill me. Talk about catching flies with honey.

You should read the comics instead of getting people to spoil it for you. Ths story being told through CA:SR, thunderbolts and secret empire is fantastic and well worth reading

I don’t read comics, that’s some gay shit.

Alternatively, imagine, just imagine, perhaps, if, say, your dad was born during World War II, in one of the most bombed towns in England. Imagine if your grandfather fought Nazis and did a damn good job of it, but risked his life to do so. Imagine, if you will, if your grandmother’s family was Jewish. Now imagine how they’d feel if you started reading comics about all of them being killed in an ‘alternate not alternate’ reality and called it entertainment.

Alternatively alternatively, imagine, perhaps, not having much money and wanting to vet things before you buy them because perhaps you won’t like them, especially if they contain FUCKING NAZI BULLSHIT.

A Beginner’s Guide to Saving the World

Apocalypse AU

Rating: T

Prompt: Day 3: Apocalypse (hope it’s not too late for this!)

Notes: Hey guys, so sorry I’ve been MIA! It’s been busy at work since I’ve had to work weekends now, and I’ve been blocked for awhile so the sudden inspiration that came with this was very welcome. The line “My place just blew up, can I crash here for a bit” is from the site Figment. Forgive me for any scientific inaccuracies. This is a light-hearted take on the apocalypse, but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

One day, Barry arrives home from work to see a complete stranger frying chicken on his stove.

Through the half-open door, he catches a glimpse of messy, curly brown hair pulled into a loose bun—definitely a woman, then—and a flash of white from the lab coat she’s wearing. Even if her back is facing him, he’s certain that he doesn’t know anyone whose back resembles this particular back. And besides, he thinks grimly, most of the people he knew died years ago in the second Impera outbreak.

For a moment, he considers that maybe it’s a hallucination brought about by exhaustion. It’s been a terribly long day. He’d just returned to what was left of his lab at the CCPD to dissect a few fresh dead bodies afflicted with the virus, hoping to find something—yes, he’s probably the only one who hasn’t given up on finding a cure—but despite his best efforts, he still hasn’t stumbled on anything he could work with. He wonders if the constant frustration, the stench of dead bodies, the fire from the mass graves, and the people dying around him have finally taken a toll on his sanity.

But then again, he wonders whether hallucinations could reproduce the mouth-watering aroma of fried chicken so accurately. It’s been so long since he’d taken a whiff of one—it must have been a year or so ago, when governments all over the world recalled all meat products for fear that the virus came from animals—so naturally, Barry rather missed eating meat. He’s also rather sick of beetroots, which he hadn’t even heard of before the government declared it safe, and which he’d been eating for all his meals for the past week. He reckons he’s eaten more vegetables in the past year or so than he ever will in a normal, pre-Impera lifetime.

In any case, he has to make a decision about this very realistic hallucination, who has now begun humming what sounds like “Summer Lovin’”, but it’s so off-key that he can’t say for sure.

He cautiously pushes the door to his kitchen open and clears his throat.

The girl startles and twists around to face him, blinking up at him with big, brown eyes.

“Um, hi,” she says, slipping two pieces of chicken onto a plate. She nervously dries her hands on her—his—apron. “My place just blew up, so I hope you don’t mind if I crash here for a bit… Would you like some chicken? It’s a bit of a long story, so I took the liberty of preparing real food as courtesy…”

Scars (by CRUTCHY)

We don’t tell Jack he’s changed since he went to the Refuge.

It ain’t that he has a whole lot.  When he first showed up, just four months into his sentence when we’d heard he’d be in for a year, we all mobbed him and he was laughing and shouting and telling us how he’d escaped like a hero, grinning like it was all a big game.

Jack never lets on how serious things are.

But he must’ve known.  I mean, I know, and I wasn’t in there for long.  You don’t take freedom lightly when you’ve been in a place like that.

Jack’ll tell you all about how he snuck down the corridor, walked right behind Snyder all the way to the front door, and hitched a ride on Teddy Roosevelt’s carriage.  He ain’t shy about actin’ the hero when it’s a story like that—and there’s fifty kids backin’ him up if you don’t think it’s truth.

What he won’t tell you is he only got sent there because of me.

She certainly hadn’t expected to see anyone roaming around at this time of day. Then again, it was barely passed sunrise by the time she’d decided to even walk down to the village and, at the very least, get a bite to eat. She knew nothing was open yet, which gave her ample time to look around a little bit. ( Maybe do a bit of window shopping if there was anything to look at. )

But it was then she was met with a stranger, someone she couldn’t really identify as one side or the other as of right now. Well, stranger or no, she may as well spark up a conversation with someone– Could be a good way to kill the time. And make a potential new acquaintance. Or, in the worst case, a new enemy.

‘ Hey! ‘ She called and approached the other. ‘ Lovely morning, huh? Getting a walk in to feel the crisp breeze? ‘

@ Courtney

Oliver honestly wasn’t sure what had put him into such a sour mood today, but he knew that he was in one, and he knew that he was bored. Hanging out with Courtney might only fix one of the two, but it was way preferable to being alone. Besides, he’d been wanting to see her lately, he just felt weird about texting her that. They were just friends, after all, no matter what may have happened the week previous.

His mood had lifted somewhat when she’d agreed to come over. He wouldn’t have asked if Chloe was home, but Chloe was never home these days, so he didn’t really care if she had to come home to Courtney in their house. The two of them had been enemies for so long that Oliver wasn’t even sure why anymore, if he’d known to begin with. It didn’t need to affect his friendship.

It took him a minute to even find a pair of clean jeans to put on, but once he had he started straightening up his room. It was rarely too far from being clean, and never too messy to have people over. But he still liked to straighten up from time to time, a habit he’d only picked up in the last year or so. It seemed like a good way to kill time while waiting for someone to show up.
