Desktop wallpaper thing I made so you can download it and have a jolly good screen.
Slytherin is coming soon, and the wallpapers for the other houses are on my blog.
Out of curiosity, what Hogwarts and Ilvermorny houses are you guys in? I’m a Gryffindor/Thunderbird, but tell me things so we can be strangers having a good ole’ Harry Potter bonding time on the internet.
(ALSO why does everyone still think the Ravenclaw symbol is a raven? That’s way too easy. I know they changed it on the costumes in the later movies which is dumb, because it’s always been, and always will be an eagle. KNOW YER BIRDS)
You and your friends on here are so immature it gives me second hand embarrassment whenever I stumble across your posts.
You know, I was just going to respond with banter (because a pathetic message like this doesn’t deserve the dignity of a proper response). But I’m not going to respond to the message, I’m going to respond to the person who sent this message.
You spent - honestly, wasted - about a minute sending this message. What did you get out of it? Is your pride feeling nice and fluffy? Now, how about your conscience? You do know that sending hate (whether in speech or through a message) is denying the God-given dignity assigned to a person (or a group of people). That is a sin, my sibling-in-Christ, and you will have to face God for that on the Last Day.
I don’t care when hate is sent to me. But when someone throws my friends under the bus, I can promise you with my entire soul and existence that I will stand up for them. Call me immature all you want, I probably am. I don’t care. I can use this immaturity for God’s greater glory, just as he can use your second hand embarrassment and pettiness. But don’t you dare direct any of your putrid hate towards those I love and cherish.
To quote good ol’ Harry Potter:
“You’re the weak one. You’ll never know love, or friendship, and I feel sorry for you.”
These friends of mine are indescribable. I cannot do justice with mere words, all I can do is elevate the love I have in my heart for them to the Father and ask Him to shower blessings upon them. We all pray for each other, and when we can, we pray together. These friends are worthy of being fought for because Jesus died for them on the cross.
We all have grown in the little time we all have known each other. Why is this? We don’t hide behind masks, as you are doing so right now. We let down our walls and allow ourselves to be vulnerable. It is in this vulnerability that we can truly encounter each other in a more intimate way and encourage each other to step towards what God is calling us to become. If that’s called immaturity, then heck to the yeah, we are immature.
But see, He died for you too, Anon. Jesus Christ loves you and cherishes you and calls you to a deeper relationship with Him and His Church. Place this darkness you carry at His feet. Instead of spewing hate, allow Him to love you and give you the grace to see all of us as He sees us. Maybe one day, you’ll be our friend too. Maybe you’ll engage in the same banter that you claim is so “immature.” Maybe, for once, you can have authentic fun with us too. You’re seriously missing out on being friends with these future saints. I have no doubt my friends are going to be world-changers. And maybe one day, your loved one will see saint cards with our faces on it.
We’d love to have you join us sometime, friend. My inbox is open always. What you send is on you. But know, God sees what is stirring in your heart and will judge you according.
At the end of the day, know this: at least I have some friends to send me “immature” messages. :)
Holy Guacamole! I just figured out who A.D. is! It's Barney "Wait for it" Stinson! Good ol' Neil Patrick Harris. I used to think it was Dan Humphrey. But, this makes more sense. It really was all there from the very beginning!!! 😂
