good luck to you and me and all of us when your show starts airing

Hello - Newt x Reader

Prompt: A little drabble! Soulmate AU where everyone is born with the first words their soulmate says to them tattooed on their wrist. Reader is completely fed up with her quest to find her soulmate, as the only hint she has is the incredibly vague black letters that have always been stamped across her wrist.

Warnings: Swearing, bullying, use of alcohol, harassment and unwanted advances

God, you hated your soulmate tattoo.

What sort of a soulmate tattoo was “hello”? You had detested it your entire life. What vague-ass higher power had decided when they gave you your tattoo to stop at “hello”? How would you know for sure when you met your soulmate? Couldn’t they have elaborated a little bit? Just a few more words? A proper sentence that you could actually recognize your soulmate with? But no, you were stuck with the most common greeting in the English language tattooed permanently into your skin. Hello. What absolute bullshit.

Every time someone greeted you with that simple phrase, your eyes would narrow, you would square your shoulders, and you would spit back the most distinct and unmistakable response you possibly could. You were not going to be the soulmate couple that had “hello” on both of your wrists. Your lucky, lucky soulmate probably had something ridiculous, like “Whatever you say,” or “Did you know that a hippopotamus’s sweat is red?” because you absolutely had to stand out, and you made sure that your replies to “hello” always did. There was no other way to be sure that anyone and everyone who said “hello” to you wasn’t your soulmate.

What a useless tattoo.

All throughout your school years at Ilvermorny, you were completely embarrassed to show people your tattoo. Unfortunately, when your classmates found out, they had great fun sending people you had never spoken to before up to say “hello” to you.

Your reaction was always hilarious, so they kept doing it. Your responses ranged from “Go fuck yourself,” to “Nice try guys, but I’ve already spoken with her before,” to straight up punching one student right in the jaw when he got a little too friendly with his hands as he delivered his “hello”.

You started to feel a little bad for your actual soulmate as your replies increased in hostility. They probably had a particularly colorful quote of yours. “Go to hell,” perhaps, or maybe “Who the fuck put you up to it this time?”

When you graduated, your defensive nature had thankfully melted a little. You had switched to solely offering people fun animal facts whenever they said “hello” to you, and it was far less stressful. “Seahorse mates hold each other’s tails so they don’t lose each other,” was a favorite of yours, as was “Cows have best friends.”

One evening, you were at a bar with your roommates Queenie and Tina, and you were in no mood for advances from anyone. You had decided to date, as many people with soulmates do, just to pass time while you waited for your soulmate to arrive, but your recent significant other had found their soulmate and left you in the dust. It was incredibly depressing, and you just really wanted a drink.

A man waltzed up to you, sliding into the chair beside you and offering a hand to shake. “Hello,” he said with a grin. You looked over at him, as annoyed as you were drunk, and reached out to flip his arm over and look at his wrist.

“Alright, let’s get this over with I’m not in the mood to think of a fun fact,” you grumbled, pulling back his sleeve to look at his wrist.

It wasn’t really with disappointment that you read the words “I’m so sorry I ran over your dog,” in black ink on his wrist, and you patted his hand drunkenly.

“Good luck with that one, buddy,” you slurred, getting to your feet and heading toward the door. He blinked after you, bewildered, and then returned to his drink.

Such was a usual encounter for you, and by the time Tina dragged a certain magizooligist into your home, you were sick and tired of your goddamn animal facts.

“Queenie, (y/n)!” Tina called out to you. You peeked your head around the corner where you were helping Queenie mend dresses, and you saw with a pang of confusion that Tina had brought two men along with her.

Queenie voiced your amazement, grinning and chirping “Teenie! You brought men home!”

You approached your friend, not bothering with the fact that you were clad in only a slip, and you blinked at her in disbelief. “Who are they?”

“This is a no-maj, and this is Mr. Scamander. He’s responsible for his injuries,” Tina said wearily, pointing her finger at the sweaty, overwhelmed man who offered you a disoriented half-smile before fixing his gaze back on Queenie, who giggled.

Mr. Scamander gave you a little wave. “Hello,” he said.

You let out a slow puff of air, your frustration resurfacing as your hand shot forward to grab his wrist. “Merlin’s Beard, just show me the goddamn tattoo,” you grumbled without thinking. You were in total shock when you slipped his sleeve back and found yourself face-to-face with your own words.

You looked up at him with wide eyes, and he looked just as startled. A hush fell over the room, and you felt your face grow hot. “Sorry about that,” you mumbled apologetically, unable to drop your gaze from his.

“That’s quite alright,” he said softly, his lips twitching upward in a small smile. “It’s quite the conversation piece,” he teased, and you found yourself chuckling.

“You had better be worth all the trouble my ridiculous tattoo has caused,” you teased back. The other three people in the room were watching the two of you, completely taken aback.

“I think for the most part people usually find me to be more trouble than I am worth,” he confessed, his eyes sparkling.

You dropped his hand at last, your face red and your heart pounding with embarrassment. “We’ll see about that,”

Pairing: Jensen x Reader

Warnings: Objectification of reader (sorta - he means well), Implied smut, smut, Dry Humping, Oral (69), unsafe sex (wrap it before you tap it), training kink (is that a thing?), rough(ish) sex, NSFW gifs under the cut.

Word Count: 3500ish

A/N: This is me proving to myself I still remember how to smut. I haven’t written anything smutty for the longest of times and I have been feeling like it lately. It was harder than I thought getting back into the saddle though. Sorry if it is a bit rough - pun not intended.

It is somewhat inspired by the Ed Sheeran song Shape of You - and maybe a little by the video too.

Thanks to the sweet amazing @mysupernaturalfics for betaing this for me.

“Fuck,” she breathed out, instantly drawing Jensen’s attention. He was sprawled out his couch, waiting for Y/N to return to his side. It was movie night and she hadn’t bothered leaving the room to take the phone call. Jensen never eaves dropped and even if he was to overhear something it wouldn’t matter. There was nothing to two of them hid from each other. Literally nothing.

They had both been single for a while and some drunken night they had come to the conclusion, that helping each other blow off some steam when either of them needed it was much prefered from picking up some random dude or chick at a bar.

“If you want I am game,” Jensen teased her, throwing her his best Dean smirk, making her eyes roll so hard he was sure Jared would hear it across the hall from Jensen’s apartment.

“It’s not funny, Jensen! They offered me the part. I’m gonna be Wonder Woman,” she complained, making Jensen shoot from the couch and wrap her in his arms, spinning her around the air not caring one bit about her objection.

“That’s amazing Y/N/N,” he laughed putting her down but not releasing her from his hold, “what are you so worried about?” Jensen gently stroked her hair away from her face, studying her face and trying to figure out why she wasn’t over the moon about this. She had a tendency to overthink things. He knew that. He literally spent 2 hours on the floor of her bedroom leaning against her bathroom door trying to talk her out after the first night they had slept together.

Genre: Angst

Length: 4.2k words

Pairing: Yoongi/Reader/Jimin

Summary: You knew the relationship was falling apart, you just couldn’t accept it.

“I’m sorry Y/N.” Yoongi whispered.

I looked at him in disbelief. The tears that were threatening to fall soon enough shamelessly came and for a second I thought I felt my heart actually break. Deep down, I wanted everything to be a joke, I wanted this to be some sort of sick prank. But looking at Yoongi’s face, I knew it was far from that.

“Why did you do it?” I asked looking down. He stayed quiet, not daring to look at me, and after what felt like hours he took a deep breath.

“I honestly don’t know Y/N,” he began “I wasn’t thinking at all.” I let out a sob.. Wasn’t thinking? What does he mean he wasn’t thinking? Is he meaning to tell me that I didn’t cross his mind not once?

“I-It was more than just sex with her Y/N, as much as she seems to be bitch to everyone she isn’t bad. I don’t know what to do. I already lost so much by doing this.” He added as he turned to look at me.

My heart shattered. The only thing worse than getting cheated on is, having the person who cheated on you not wanting to fix it. We were invincible. Since I was 15 I vowed to commit to him and overcome any obstacles that life threw at us. Every fight we had was resolved by the end of the day because we never went to sleep mad at each other. But now, years later I never thought anything would change. And to be honest.. I was too naive to think this would last forever. Yoongi always had eyes for me, he always thought about me before he made a decision. Looking into the eyes of the love of your life and not seeing a spark anymore is heartbreaking. To feel like I was not worth fighting for anymore made me feel worthless.

“I love you Y/N, I still want you around.” Yoongi said breaking me out of my thoughts. “Even if we’re not together you will always be mine.” he added. My body went numb, my mind went blank. I looked at him and smiled. “I’ll never leave Yoongi.”

The next couple weeks were gloomy. Even though Yoongi never stopped talking to me, every night always ended with an argument, which resulted in him blocking me and ignoring me until he felt like talking to me again. Meanwhile I was constantly surrounded by a dark cloud that didn’t leave. I barely got out bed. And when I did, I would find any reason to go back to my hole of self pity. I didn’t eat much anymore and only got a couple hours of sleep at night. Constant thoughts attacked my mind telling me I wasn’t good enough to keep him, that he was better off without me, that I needed him. And as crazy as it sounds, I wanted him back more than anything. I wanted to have another chance to show that I can be a better girlfriend to him, better than her. I never asked about her. I didn’t want to know anything about her. The one girl who managed to make him do this. And from what I heard she wasn’t with Yoongi because she liked him. Anyone can tell she was just using him, but he was too blind to see that. She had him wrapped around her little finger and still slept with any guy she wanted, while Yoongi pretended that he didn’t know. And that’s what killed me.

It was around 10:30pm when Yoongi called. I mentally cursed at myself for answering so quickly, “Hey,” I said. “Hey babygirl, just wanted to hear your voice.” I could feel my face turn red and softly smiled at his words. “I miss you.” I said. For the next two hours we were on the phone and for once I was happy.

“Are you free tomorrow?” I ask. As much as I wanted to give him space, I wanted to see him.

I hear him heavily sigh and I already knew what was coming. “I’m sorry Y/N, I want to see you as much as you do but-” he mumbled. My heart sank and a feeling of sadness came over me. “Yeah I get it, she means more to you than I ever did.” I replied. “Please don’t start Y/N we were talking just fine.” he said.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed. “News flash, I haven’t been fine since you chose her over me, you only knew her for a week.”

“STOP. Y/N goddammit don’t fucking start again.” He yelled out. I could hear his breathing increase and I knew him well enough to know he was pissed.

“Why are you doing this to me huh Yoongi? Was I that fucking horrible to you that you had to do this to me?” I cried. Again tears rolled down my face and I started sobbing.

“I’m not dealing with this tonight.” He said and hung up.

Fucking asshole. That’s what he’s good at, ignoring me and running away from his problems. I dialed his number again hoping he could pick up but soon realized he blocked my number. I began to panic knowing very well I wasn’t going to get any sleep tonight if he was ignoring me.

For the next hour I constantly called hoping he would unblock me but I had no luck. My sobbing increased and I began to feel suffocated in my apartment. I just wanted to run, I wanted to run until I couldn’t feel the pain anymore, I wanted to disappear. I knew I was pathetic doing this to myself. But I couldn’t help it, Min Yoongi destroyed me.

I couldn’t take being inside anymore and left my apartment to clear my head. It was almost midnight and although it wasn’t a good idea to be walking at this hour, I didn’t care. The night air made me shiver and I decided not to go very far considering it was cold. I walked to the gym right by my apartment and sat at the side of the building. I tried dialing Yoongi again, and sure enough he didn’t pick up. I put my phone back in my pocket and buried my face in my hands and cried. Why wasn’t I good enough for him anymore? Why am I still around for him begging him to come back when it’s not what he wants anymore? I was deeply in love with him to even think about moving on, and he knew that.

“A pretty girl like you shouldn’t be out this late crying.” A voice said, that made your head snap up.

My eyes met the face of a stranger, a very attractive stranger.

I quickly wiped my tears away and stood up backing away from him,  “Ahh I’m sorry” I replied flustered.

He chuckled, “Don’t worry, I don’t bite.” I smiled at him. “That’s good to hear, but what could you possibly be doing out here this late?” I asked sarcastically.

He motioned toward the gym “I work here, on my break.”

I looked at him confused. “Isn’t it too late to for a gym to be opened?” I replied.

“It’s opened 24/7, I work the night shifts.” He said. I nodded at him and sat back down.

“Now if you don’t mind me asking, why were you crying?” He asked.

I bit my lip and tried to come up with some random excuse. “Umm it’s just tha-” I started to say.

“Boyfriend troubles?” He blurted.

I chuckled, “Something like that.”

“Mind telling me about it?” He asked.

I looked away sighing. “Honestly.. I’m not ready to talk about it just yet, but long story short he cheated on me.. and somehow I can’t let him go.”

“By the looks of you crying it seems like he doesn’t want the same.” He said.

“It’s.. complicated.” I answered, “He chose her but he still wants me around.”

He looked at me, “I know I barely met you but you shouldn’t give him the satisfaction of still being there for him. You’re worth more than that.”

Tears began forming and I nodded. We both sat in silence for what felt like forever until he stood and offered his hand to help me up.

“I hate to leave you alone but I have to get back to work.” He sadly said.

“Right, sorry.” I mumbled and began to make my way home.

“Before you go, I didn’t get your name” He said

“Oh right, it’s Y/N.” I answered.

He smiled at me, “Y/N, the name suits you.”

I laughed, “Thanks?”

“I’m Jimin by the way”

It was around three days later when Yoongi texted you.

“I miss you Y/N, I’m sorry about everything.”

I stared at the text for the longest time and debated on replying or not. And about an hour later I gave in and replied. This was a cycle, he always apologized after ignoring me for days, knowing I would be waiting. Dammit why was I so weak when it came to him? It was like he had me under a spell and I couldn’t do anything about it.

“Can I come over right now?” another text read.

I answered a quick yes and made my way to the shower so I can look like I wasn’t miserable the past few weeks. About 30 minutes later he was at the door.

“Hey babygirl.” He said smiling.

I felt my cheeks getting hot “Hey Yoongi.” I said while leading him inside.

He took off his jacket and shoes and made himself comfortable.

I laughed to myself thinking back to memories when Yoongi would come over right after work tired and fall asleep on my bed. Or back to the first summer of us dating when he would be at my house and we would watch stupid reality TV shows, eating pizza, and enjoying each other’s company. Back when I was his everything, back when we were invincible. The older we got, the more I thought things were getting better. We were becoming more mature and we both knew what we wanted. A future together. I never expected months later for that to suddenly change.

I snapped back to reality when Yoongi cleared his throat. “Listen, I’m really sorry about-”

I stopped him, “No don’t worry about it, it was my fault.” I said quietly.

His face softened “No I shouldn’t have ignored you.”

“It’s fine..really.” I answered.

He forced a smile, “H-how have you been?” He asked.

“It doesn’t matter honestly-”

“It does matter Y/N, even if you don’t believe it, I care so much.” He stated.

I started biting my nails, it was a really bad habit of mine. But whenever I get nervous I don’t know what else to do.

“You’re nervous.” He said.

I looked up embarrassed “I-I’m sorry.”

He cupped my face in hands and looked me in the eyes, “It’s me Y/N, your Yoongi don’t be nervous around me.”

He crashed his lips into mine and before I could process what was happening, I realized I was kissing him back. He deepened the kiss and before I knew it I was reaching to take his shirt off.

He stopped me. “Do you want this as bad as I do?”

I nodded and continued kissing him and led him to my bedroom.

I woke up hours later to the sound of Yoongi’s phone ringing. I groaned and nudged him to wake up to answer the phone. To my surprise however, he declined it. I shot him a confused look, “Shouldn’t you answer her?”

He shook his head, “I just want to enjoy our time together right now.” I smiled and he wrapped me in his arms. As much as I hate the situation we’re in, being with him is the only thing that can make me happy.

“I want to try and end things with her.”

My head snapped up at his sudden words, “Do you really?” I asked.

“I don’t know what I’m doing Y/N, I want to make things right for us so bad.”

“Yoongi, you know what to do to fix this.” I said softly.

He stayed quiet for a long time. I didn’t care though, just the simple words he said made me see that maybe just maybe.. it was worth waiting around for him. The sleepless nights, endless crying, everything could finally stop.

“I’m going to see her soon and I promise that I will fight for us.”

“Forever and always right?” I said.

“Forever and always.”

The next couple of days were a breeze. I managed to catch up on sleep which I’ve been so badly. I went out with friends after canceling so many times when I was down. Yoongi and I were talking just like before. I was happy. I knew it was going to take some time for us to get back together and I was happy to wait as long as he fought for us. Although I was waiting for the message informing me that he finally left her, I didn’t want to seem like I was pressuring him.

I was laying on my couch catching up on shows I’ve missed while eating ice cream, when I got a text from Namjoon asking to hang out. I smiled at myself and instantly replied telling him yes. My heart dropped suddenly remembering how much I have been shutting him out ever since this happened. Namjoon worked in the music industry and was extremely busy but he always made time for his best friend. We grew up together and he was always the one person I went to when I needed someone. Namjoon always acted like an older brother to me, a very overprotective brother I must add. When I first started dating Yoongi you can bet he didn’t approve, but as time passed he eventually accepted him. I instantly felt a wave of guilt realizing I hadn’t even told him about what happened between Yoongi and I. He knew me well enough to know that there’s something wrong just by the look on my face. I debated with myself on calling him and telling him that something came up, but I knew that would only make it worse- I never canceled on Namjoon, no matter how busy I was. Even though I wanted to avoid talking about it, I knew I had to tell my best friend. I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard my phone buzz besides me.

“Let’s go to dinner then? Usual place :)” the text read. I laughed to myself knowing that no matter how more successful he got, he still loved our tradition of going out for a greasy slice of pizza and a beer. I sent a quick reply and dashed to the shower to start getting ready. “Goodness Y/N what are you going to tell Namjoon?” I thought to myself. I knew I couldn’t keep this from him, he would only blame himself saying he wasn’t there enough. I quickly put together an outfit and applied makeup to look a bit more alive. Thirty minutes later, I was finally ready and out the door to my car. Well…it’s now or never.

I got to our favorite pizza place and ordered food for the both of us. Namjoon was always late, even if it was something really important. Ever since we were kids he had a habit of showing up late. I didn’t mind though and took our food to an empty table. I occupied myself with my phone and it wasn’t until 15 minutes later that he finally got here. “Y/N I’m so glad to see you!” Namjoon happily says. My face lights up and I immediately give him the biggest hug. “I haven’t seen you in so long!” I say as we both sit down, “I know I’m so sorry I’ve been so busy.” He replies with a slight frown on his face. I shot him a look, “Don’t worry, I understand just don’t forget about your best friend.”

“Never will” He says while taking a bite of his food.  I smiled and started eating, “So how’s work been?” “Tiring, busy, you name it.. I don’t care much since I’m doing something I love.” He happily replied.

“I’m proud of you and I’m so glad to hear that.” I say while taking a sip of my soda.

For the next hour we talked about memories when we were younger and catching up with each other. I completely forgot about what has been going on with me since I was so happy being with my best friend. That is, until the dreaded question came.

“So how are things going with Yoongi?” He curiously asked. My face instantly dropped and I frowned. “F-Fine, we are doing fine.” I quietly answered.

Namjoon raised his eyebrow at me and scanned my face long and hard, “You’re not telling me the truth.” He stated. I didn’t answer him and instead looked down and started biting my nails.

“You’re nervous Y/N what’s wrong?” At this point I felt the tears forming in my eyes and I felt like I was going to barf all the food I had just ate. I didn’t want to tell him, but at the same time I did. My heart was racing and my head felt like it was going to explode.

“Y/N what the hell happened?” He asked again. I sighed, “I just… we broke up but we’re trying to work things out.”

“Why did you guys break up?” He quickly asked.

“I don’t know.” I lied. I gulped hoping he would believe me but I knew there was no way he would. If I told him what Yoongi did, Namjoon would not let me anywhere close to him.

“Don’t lie to me Y/N.” I could tell he was losing patience.

“Namjoon-” I began.

“Tell.ME.”

“He cheated on me.” I murmured avoiding to meet his gaze.

Silence. For a while there was just silence. I refused to look up and say anything else. I was embarrassed, scared, I felt pathetic.

My head shot up when I heard Namjoon chuckle. I looked at him confused not knowing what to say, I met his eyes and boy was he pissed.

“You’re telling me that you’re willing to make things work with him again?” He rhetorically asked.

“I know you’re upset and I don’t blame you for it, but I’m willing to stay until he leaves her.” I mumbled.

His eyes widened and his face turned red, “LEAVES HER? You mean he left you for some girl? And you’re still around?” He started yelling.

Tears started falling down my face “Please don’t be upset.” I choked out.

He snorted, “Upset? Nope. I’m furious. It’s taking everything I have not to leave right now and kill that bastard.”

“Namjoon-”

“No Y/N, I am not going to let you sit there and stick around until he decides to fucking value you. You deserve to find happiness and all he is doing is causing you pain.” I didn’t say anything and instead stayed quiet. He stood up and led me out the restaurant. “Let’s get you home.”

I nodded and followed him out, the cold air hit me as soon as we got out the door and I immediately regretted not bringing a sweater with me. I looked down on my phone and I saw missed calls from Yoongi. I bit my lip in confusion considering he never calls me. I decided I’d get back to him once I got home.

We made it to my car and I looked up at my best friend. Disappointment was written all over his face and I took a deep breath.

“Can we please talk tomorrow Y/N? I need to make sure you’re okay.”

“Of course. I’m sorry for ruining our night.”

He gave me a sympathetic look, “Stop, I haven’t been around much and I’m sorry for that. I promise I’ll be there more regardless of my job. I need to protect my best friend.”

I smiled at him, “Love you Joonie, get home safe?”

“Text me once you’re home alright?” He added while opening my car door.

“I will,” I said while giving him the biggest hug.

As soon as I stepped into my apartment I dialed Yoongi before doing anything else. To my surprise he didn’t answer and I frowned. I quickly sent him a text and got ready for bed. As I was just about to close my eyes, my phone rang. Groaning, I reached over and picked up without even checking who it was.

“Hello?” I groggily say.

“Y/N are you up?” The other person said and I instantly knew the voice.

“I was just about to fall asleep Yoongi, but what’s up?” I replied.

He sighed, “Can we talk?”

I frowned at the sound of his voice, “uh sure.”

“I’ll be at your place in 10 minutes.” And with that, he hung up.

Before I knew it there was knocking on the door and I immediately got up to open the door.

Yoongi looked tired, saddened, and just… different. He awkwardly walked in with his head down and I knew something was wrong. My stomach dropped, “What’s wrong Yoongi?” I whispered and reached out to hold his hand. He flinched and pulled back without looking up at me.

He let out a deep breath, “I’m sorry Y/N.”

And that’s when my world came crashing down again.

The sound of rain against my window helped distract me from my endless thoughts of pure emptiness. I continued to play with the food that I didn’t even bother to eat and sat in silence.

It had been weeks that I had a decent meal, much less smiled. I debated many times calling Namjoon, but I always fought against that thinking he was too busy. He checked in a couple times over text but I was good at feeding him lies on how I was okay. Although he was my best friend, I just didn’t want to burden him again.

The day Yoongi came, I knew he changed his mind about coming back to me. He still texted though, and I knew that I was hurting myself way more by still sticking around. Soon enough text messages came almost once a week and I could  tell he was distancing himself. What made things worse was that he flaunted his new relationship on social media, and that hurt more than anything. Yoongi was never one to brag about someone, unless the person meant a lot to him.

I was laying on my bed after coming home from a night with my friends and I was happy considering I haven’t felt this alive for about three months. I tried my best to shut the thought of him out of my head and I did what I thought was best… move on. I constantly told myself that nothing will bring me back to how I was when I was so low and needed to be strong. I was getting ready for bed and I checked my phone one last time before I decided to sleep.

And that was a big mistake. My heart dropped as I paused on a post Yoongi had uploaded of them together. I felt my throat close and tears well up in my eyes, fuck. Why the hell does this shit affect me so much? Before I knew it I was sobbing and all the feelings I was trying to avoid came rushing back. Without thinking I threw some shoes on and ran out my front door not caring how loud I slammed it. I was halfway down the street when I realized I forgot my phone and I sighed. I quickly figured I didn’t need it and continued walking. I eventually made it to the spot next to the gym I always came too and sat down breathing in the cool air. My mind began to wander and my thoughts were interrupted by a cough next to me. I shot my head up and met Jimin’s face. “Haven’t seen you in awhile.” He says. “Almost thought you got back with him.” He added. I looked away not responding, it’s almost pathetic how bad I wish that was what happened.

I heard him awkwardly sit next to me and from the corner of my eye I can see he was thinking on what to say next.

“Please don’t feel sorry for me” I mumble while trying to blink the tears forming in my eyes.

“Do you want to talk about it?” He asked.

“Honestly? No. I don’t. I want everything to be okay with us, I want things to be how they were back then. I want him to be happy with just me.” I admitted. “Do you know how stupid I feel? How pitiful I look?”

“You’re not stupid for wanting that, you have every right to feel all these emotions. But Y/N please don’t let him have so much control over you. He’s not worth it.” He grabbed my face and made me look at him, “Please Y/N.” He pulled me in for a hug and just as I was about to answer him a deep voice beat me to it.

“What the hell is going on?”

I panicked quickly getting up and moving away from Jimin. “Yoongi?” I practically yelled.

Shit.

author’s note: ahhh i really hope you guys liked it! I am not confident in my writing yet but i’m getting there! i wrote this after my relationship fell apart, and although I’m still getting over it, writing makes me feel so much better.

Hello, if you're still taking prompts could you do #33 with Marichat or Ladynoir? (BTW love your stories!)

This is horribly overdue. I’m so sorry this took so long, I was caught up with other stories, life, and just recently suffered a bad case of writer’s block :/ I picked the Ladynoir side of the love square (although it’s probably not in the way you’re thinking). Still, I hope you enjoy this :)

“Something about you makes me want to commit extreme violence.”

You may not know it, but being a noblewoman could be very difficult at times.

Such were the Lady Marinette’s thoughts as she finally managed to sneak away to the snack table. A young Lord had been trying to request a dance with her for the better part of ten minutes, causing her to nearly flee every time he came in her sights. Luckily, just when she thought she was cornered, she was able to pair him with her best friend.

“I’m going to kill you,” Lady Alya had silently mouthed when she was led to the dance floor.

Marinette giggled to herself as she swiped a chocolate chip cookie from the very top of the pile on the silver tray. Not many women were eating them in order to ‘maintain their figure’ but Marinette didn’t really care about that. She’d eat what she wanted, whenever she wanted.

She looked around at the sea of guests, at all the colorful masks that adorned their faces. Her parents decided to host a masquerade ball, thinking it to be romantic and mysterious. Marinette thought that the idea was intriguing, but she didn’t really think anyone to be romantic or mysterious. It was just like any other ball she’d been to, with no one in particular standing out among the crowd.

She wanted to tell her parents that real life was vastly different from fairy tales, but she knew it would crush their hearts, especially since they wanted her to have a whirlwind romance of her own.

Marinette sighed in defeat, resigning herself to picking out a stranger to dance with just to appease her hopeless romantic parents.

“Is the princess not having a good time?” a masculine voice teasingly drawled.

Startled, her head whipped around to see a man leaning against a nearby pillar. He wore the traditional finely-made garb befitting of someone of the noble class, yet it was completely black, save the swirling designs of green beside the buttons on the otherwise coal black jacket.

Around his equally green eyes sat a black domino mask, but with cat ears on the ends. His blond hair lacked a refined style, instead the golden locks were wildly tousled. However, instead of looking like a common vagrant, the look suited him perfectly.

His lips were stretched into a wide smile, a row of pearly-white teeth exposed in the process. She noticed the man had rather nicely chiseled features. This, combined with all his other traits, made him exceptionally handsome.

However, her heart was already taken.

“I am not a princess, sir,” she replied, a corner of her mouth arching in interest. She had a feeling that whoever this man was, he was going to prove to be riveting company.

“You could’ve fooled me, with how every man’s eyes are fixated on you alone,” he purred flirtatiously, abandoning his spot by the column to saunter closer to her.

She snorted in mirth, finding that she liked this stranger. Sure, his flirting was a little over-the-top, but it wasn’t at all creepy like how some lords spoke.

“I find that hard to believe,” she disputed with a grin. “It doesn’t matter anyway, since I’m not interested in any of them.”

“Too good for them?” he asked. His tone was still teasing, yet his eyes shined with something else. For a moment she thought it seemed like he was testing her, but she quickly wrote it off as paranoia.

“No, it’s not that. The person that I really want to dance with isn’t here,” she admitted. She had a mask on, so no one except for Alya knew who she really was. So she supposed it was okay to tell a few truths for one night, provided she was careful, of course.

She sighed, recalling how her statement had been all too true. Prince Adrien was far out of reach, and honestly she shouldn’t have expected him to show up to her modest estate, even if it was for a ball. She met him a few months ago when his father had invited all the noble families to a formal dinner, hers included.

They didn’t get off on the right foot, though.

When it was time for the dinner, she ended up being one of the last few to enter the dining room. She had been caught up in a conversation with Alya in the sitting room beforehand, delaying her arrival. When she did show, she was dismayed when she found a splash of red wine decorating the bottom of her cherry wood chair, with the Crown Prince himself squatting next to it.

Since she couldn’t berate him without receiving a harsh reprimand, she chose to coldly glare at him as she picked up a napkin from her place on the table to wipe it. Prince Adrien tried to stutter something out, something probably apologetic, but she silently rebutted every attempt for speaking.

Finally, when the dinner was over, it was discovered that it had started to rain. It was sunny before, so naturally no one brought umbrellas with them, thus resigning everyone to a wet and soaking fate.

However, right as she was about to step outside into the steady rain, the Prince appeared…with a black umbrella in hand. He explained that he was about to wipe off the wine when she had suddenly appeared. He didn’t try to soil her dress at all, and was simply in the right place (to clean the chair), but at the wrong time.

Hearing his honest words and expression persuaded her to forgive him. Afterward, he gave her the umbrella to use so she wouldn’t get wet.

And that was the moment when she fell in love with the sweet, unsuspecting prince.

They saw each other a few more times after that. He was just as friendly and amicable, but she could barely respond to him without embarrassing stutters and stammers. He was perfect in her eyes, so excuse her for being a little anxious to talk to him.

“Who do you admire that so rudely didn’t show up?” the stranger asked with a quirk of his lips.

She shook her head. There was no way she could tell anyone that she was interested in the Prince, mask or not.

“Sorry, but I can’t tell you that, Chat Noir.”

She supposed it was a good nickname; it suited him considering his attire. Besides, she couldn’t keep mentally referring to him as a stranger or just simply ‘he’.

“Chat Noir, hm?” he repeated, a far-away look appearing in his eyes as he stared above her head, a finger tapping chin in thought.

He grinned, returning his attention to her.

“I like it. Although I suppose you need a nickname now, too. How about…” he trailed off, inspecting her up and down to determine the perfect moniker. Abruptly he snapped his fingers, something that Marinette didn’t understand how he accomplished, considering he wore black gloves.

“Ladybug!” he exclaimed, smiling widely. “For your red dress and black mask. And it’s also perfect since black cats are a symbol of bad luck while ladybugs are for good luck. We’re like yin and yang, my Lady.”

The last two words rolled off his tongue in such an alluring way that caused the Lady’s heartbeat to momentarily quicken. With a light dusting of pink on her cheeks, she slightly shook her head, dismissing the sudden spike of attraction for him. ‘Chat Noir’ was just a charmingly amusing character, one that she didn’t romantically admire.

“Ladybug,” she echoed aloud, pursing her lips as she considered the potential identity. It wasn’t until a few seconds later that she seemingly decided, presenting Chat a coy smirk. “I like it.”

He mirrored her expression with a gleeful gleam of his own in his eyes.

“I knew you would,” he boasted in jest, straightening his shoulders and raising his chin in the air, giving off the appearance of a conceited aristocrat. She smiled and rolled her eyes when he placed a flattered hand over his heart. “Since everyone loves my ideas.”

“Really? And who would ‘everyone’ be?” she asked sarcastically, playing his game. “The other stray tomcats in the village?”

“My Lady, whoever said I was a stray? For all you know, I could be of royal pedigree.” His lips curved into a strangely unsettling smirk, as though he knew something she didn’t. “For all you know, I could be the Crown Prince!”

Marinette laughed, making sure to quickly press her lips together as she brought a hand to her mouth, trying to politely cover up the loud chortles. After all, it was rude for a well-bred lady to have her mouth wide open in laughter. Women were supposed to be demure and polite, always looking at their best.

She hated this social construct, yet she was doomed to follow through with its requirements anyway.

Once her giggles died down, she turned to face the grinning feline again.

“I’ve met Prince Adrien before, and I can confidently say that you’re nothing like him.”

“Indeed?” he remarked, almost sly.

“Yes, indeed,” she insisted with another giggle. “Prince Adrien isn’t like you at all.”

“And if he was? Would you admire him any less?”

Marinette visibly flinched, taken aback by his conclusion. With disbelieving eyes and reddened cheeks, she ducked her head down to avoid his eyes. How did he realize she had feelings for the Prince? This was bad, very bad…if he knew who she was he could tell Adrien, and then Adrien would never love her back and word would spread and she would become the laughing stock of the entire kingdom! She would be lonely for the rest of her life and die an old maid, while Adrien would pick a beautiful and worthy princess to marry…

She forced herself to take a deep breath through her nose.

Relax, Marinette. Maybe you could convince him that he’s wrong.

With that mental pep talk, she straightened her shoulders and faced him again.

“I don’t admire him, well, not more so than anyone else. I don’t admire him in the sense that you’re thinking of.”

“Really? Because from what I hear you do admire him, more so than anyone else.” He smirked wickedly, eliciting a nervous gulp from the stiffening maiden.

“H-How-?”

“The ‘how’ isn’t important,” he quickly dismissed with a careless wave of his hand. “What matters is the ‘why’. Why do you fancy Prince Adrien?” He clasped his hands behind his back before walking in front of her line of vision. She was positive that if they were alone, he’d be circling her like a hawk about to catch its prey.

“Is it for his riches? His looks? His palace? Or is it simply a matter of competition, in which you must win the grand prize?”

Marinette narrowed her eyes. Nevermind that this cocky feline somehow knew who she was (he didn’t say her name, but he had heard of her feelings for Prince Adrien, so therefore he must know her identity), but how dare he assume her affections were based on purely artificial things?

“Something about you makes me want to commit extreme violence,” she informed him, her tone hard as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

“So it is true, then?” he guessed with a bitter grin, followed by a scoff. “I guess our dear Prince will forever be resigned to a life without true love. Pity, I heard he was interested in quite a lovely woman, too. Warm, kind, a bit clumsy, but beautiful inside and out. Tis a shame, although I suppose it’s very well that he caught himself before he fell completely.”

Marinette was now glaring daggers where Chat Noir stood, her teeth bared in an infuriated snarl. She ignored the jab to her heart from his mention of another woman that Prince Adrien was interested in, instead focusing her anger on his grave mistakes of her character.

“Now you listen here, Chat Noir,” she spat, pointing a finger to his chest. “My feelings for Prince Adrien are real, and not based on his title, or his riches, or looks. I didn’t even like him until I saw how kind, forgiving, and generous he could be. I love him for who he is as a person, not for what he could afford or what he could give me.”

She took a deep breath, her fury beginning to simmer.

“And while I know I have no chance of him ever returning my feelings,” she continued in a much less hostile tone than before, bordering on disheartened acceptance, “I just want to make it clear that I do truly care for him…even if he loves someone else.”

The man in front of her stared seemingly in awe at her words. His green eyes were blown wide as his cheeks gradually shifted into a rosy color. For a few, tense seconds all he could seem to do was peer at her with an emotion Marinette couldn’t place, his reaction garnering her confusion.

Why was he looking at her as if seeing her for the first time? It caused a shiver to run down her spine, a good thing or a bad thing, she wasn’t certain.

At last, he appeared to snap out of his self-induced trance, a corner of his mouth curling up in a fond smile.

“I apologize for making such inaccurate assumptions of your feelings, My Lady. I see now that I was in the wrong.”

He held out a gloved hand to her.

“Would you allow me to make it up to you with a dance?”

Marinette pursed her lips, not relenting on the glower she sent his way.

“How is a dance with you going to make it up to me?”

“Well, I’ve been told I’m an excellent dancer,” he boasted, shooting her a wink. “And I’ve been trained since early childhood in the art.” His smile faltered as his expression shifted from cheekiness to remorseful. “I really am sorry for making those false accusations about you. It was completely unjustified. Can you forgive me?”

Marinette sighed, her features relaxing in the process.

She supposed she could understand where he was coming from, since most girls only wanted Prince Adrien for his title or looks. How was he to know that she was different, that she didn’t care about that stuff?

Well, she did consider him to be the most handsome, gorgeous man she ever saw, but that wasn’t why she liked him.

Anyway, Chat was just making a conclusion most likely based on the Prince’s numerous, other female admirers. He was also quick to apologize once she informed him on how wrong he was.

She was set on dancing with Prince Adrien and him alone for the night, but it was obvious that he wasn’t going to show up. And, she’s been itching to dance…

“Alright, Chat Noir, I will dance with you. But you must promise me something first.”

A part of his forehead rose. She guessed he was raising an eyebrow at her request.

“And that would be?”

Her blue eyes hardened.

“You must promise not to tell Prince Adrien about my feelings for him. Swear to me you won’t!”

Chat looked baffled at her demand.

“But why-?”

“Because!” she hissed, pointing at him for emphasis. “He’ll reject me and then everyone will find out and then I’ll become the laughing stock of this kingdom for thinking I ever had a chance with him and then I’ll never be able to leave my house again! So do not tell him, understand?”

Chat, to her surprise and indignation, had the audacity to chuckle.

“I don’t know why you think he’ll reject you, you are a lovely woman.”

When she only blinked at his enunciation of the words, oblivious as to what he was getting at, he closed his eyes and sighed for a brief moment.

“Regardless,” he continued after he opened his eyes, flashing her a grin. “I won’t tell him. Cat’s honor.”

He placed his right hand over his heart as he made the vow, at the same time he raised his left in the air.

While she was skeptical of the sly expression he wore, he did promise not to tell Prince Adrien. She mentally scoffed, figuring he only had that look because he was only going to tease her throughout the night for her feelings.

“Very well, chaton. I’ll dance with you.”

His eyes shined with satisfaction, looking very much like the cat that got the cream.

The next day, after the hype from the ball had long ago worn off, Lady Marinette was pleasantly surprised to receive a letter addressed solely to her. She figured it to be from Alya, no doubt in order to berate her for leaving her to dance with a stranger.

The thought made her giggle before she accepted the note from the servant.

Only for the amusement to immediately die down once she observed just where the letter came from. With wide eyes and a new, nervous rhythm of her heart, she broke the wax seal and flipped the paper open.

Dear Lady Marinette,

I hope you are having a wonderful morning. I apologize for not being able to attend the ball your family hosted last night, for I was caught up with other duties. I hope you are able to find it in your kind heart to forgive me.

If you were not at all busy today, I was wondering if you would perhaps consider spending the afternoon with me at the palace. Besides having lunch and strolling around the grounds together, there is something I would like to ask of you.

This request is for you, and you alone, My Lady. Of course, you are free to decline, either the request or the visit, or even both if you so wish. Although, I will be honest with you, in that I very much hope you decide to come.

If you do wish to visit, please send word soon after you have made your decision. If not, please kindly disregard this note and I shall never bring up the subject again.

Sincerely Yours,

Adrien, Crown Prince of France

“Marinette?” Sabine asked whilst entering the dining room. Her head tilted in confusion upon seeing her daughter’s flustered state. “Are you alright? Who is that letter from?”

But her daughter couldn’t answer, for she promptly swooned and fell right out of her chair.

Don’t worry, she was fine and able to go to the palace xD

Astrology Notes

I don’t usually like the disorder of this because it has no basis or theme, yet sometimes it’s nice to run a little wild (It’s really not that wild, I simply pulled this from my wisdom-filled notebook). Therefore I’m filing this out of my articles and sharing this as a regular Tumblr post. If you’d like me to write an article about these certain topics extensively, feel free to request so. Anyways, welcome to a very tiny piece of my mind that tends to cobweb into restless chaos. With effort I hope to save you from some of that mess and give you, simply, what you can gain from.

- When you see the 3rd house (ruler, coruler, planets in there), you can see how they network. After all, this is the house ruled by Mercury which is symbolic of Hermes the messenger. It can show the habits you have in making friends as houses correlate with areas of life, and this is your early environment where you start becoming acquainted with people. It ties in with the 5th-11th axis and takes those skills in those areas of life. I have to mention, even though I hate keywords since they’re not juicy enough, it’s time to be a hypocrite; communication (3rd) matters in partnerships (7th) and society (11th). The 3rd naturally rules technology (phones, computers, etc.) so this can be key in seeing how someone networks or perceives themselves on the internet; hence internet persona. You can see how powerful this can be when contacting the 10th house (ruler, Co-ruler, planets in there). Another interpretation of this is that contacts between the 3rd and 10th can show how the way one thinks and colors themselves on the web, their writing, and speaking, can strongly influence their reputation.

- We always talk about communication in astrology but what about nonverbal communication? One can easily say that’s the job of the Moon, but just as the Moon has a lot to do with how we communicate (whether one has a moon-mercury aspect or not), Mercury can say much about unspoken words. No one catches onto nonverbal communication or catches onto it as well as Mercury (ruling/co ruling/sitting in) the 8th or 12th, a Mercury retrograde, Mercury-Neptune, Moon-Mercury, Neptune in 3rd, Moon in 3rd, Taurus Mercury, Aquarius Mercury, and Water-ruled signs in Mercury and/or the Moon. These people value it as well. This is very specific but imagine this with a Pisces Jupiter-Mercury in the 8th? Imagine this even further with a sextile from a Capricorn Pallas in the 6th. Nonverbal communication does connect with the Moon but Mercury as well.

- I don’t really share synastry aspects that much because I fear people will cling to one thing and not take everything into consideration but here is one (out of the many) nonromantic aspects I love; Mercury-Moon (Synastry). It’s comforting not only in romantic relationships but friendships, family relationships, etc. I don’t really know if others have caught onto this because I haven’t seen it yet, but this is why you have me to contribute; The Moon person intuitively knows what the Mercury individual is trying to say without the Mercury person saying anything, as it builds an abundance of understandings. It’s like the mercury person can struggle in getting their point across or stringing the words together, and the Moon person instinctively understands and can aid the Mercury person. This is true nonverbal communication in synastry. I’ve noticed this the most with the conjunctions numerous times.

- People misjudge the relationships between signs that square each other a lot. Yet, they’re lovely interpretations when it’s personalized (in other words, when it becomes accurate). In specific, the bad rep given to the Taurus and Aquarius pair. Or saying how a Cancer and Libra pair work the best for the build up of romance. I’m writing an article about this so I will not go in it extensively (a link for it will be provided in the expanded article of this post once completed), but Water and Air are opposites. While Earth and Fire are opposites. When Taurus squares the Leo-Aquarius axis, Taurus is actually more compatible with Aquarius than Leo. Surprise people, well not really. Not if you know or begin to understand the importance of elements in compatibility. I can understand why some would say otherwise but elements are very important in synastry and earth is more at ease with air than fire. The same goes for Cancer, as they would be more compatible with Aries. Of course there’s the fear of insensitivity when growing together (the hypothetical Cancer and Aries) as people, but that’s why square relationships are so complex! I’ll get into detail with that once I complete certain articles, and once I do, I’ll reblog this post to share!

- This is not in my notes but all the rising signs are beautiful/handsome/gods/goddesses whatever adjective you want to place that’ll add flush to your cheeks, liveliness to your eyes, and will encourage you to walk with enigmatic force. You don’t need astrology to establish your worth, you use it to grow because you know your worth.

- If you read a good book about Jupiter, you’ll start to see how strongly Jupiter correlates with Pisces. Even if you don’t read one but really, and I mean really, understand the deeper side of Jupiter other than it being “Santa Claus” with gifts. People who have a strong Pisces influence, not only have a strong Neptune theme going on but a Jupiter one as well. As Jupiter co rules Pisces. That Jupiterian luck and wisdom doesn’t only go to Sagittarius but Pisces as well.

a/n: have yall ever seen the soulmate prompt where it’s like “the song that’s stuck in your head is stuck in your soulmate’s head too”??? well thats what this fic is based on. its kind of confusing; i had to take a little artistic liberty; and it really, really, really sucks, but i hope you like it anyway. enjoy!!!

You didn’t believe in soulmates. You never had. Your parents said they were soulmates – they had ways, reasons they found each other that they constantly yammered on about. But you didn’t believe in soulmates. It was luck they found each other, and luck that they fell in love. The whole shtick of them ‘hearing the same songs in their head’ or whatever was just… coincidence. Of course. It had to be. There was no such thing as soulmates.

Until you heard it one day.

Rise up… when you’re livin’ on your knees you rise up…

You looked around the crowded subway car you were on, eyebrows cocked. Was someone playing their music too loud? So loud that you could hear it? You couldn’t recognize the song, so it certainly wasn’t coming through your earbuds. A quick glance around the cabin rewarded you with no answers; the other people in the immediate vicinity didn’t have any earbuds in or headphones on. Your eyebrows screwed up in the middle of your head and you leaned back, trying not to show both the confusion and the annoyance on your face. What the fuck was happening? Another line came seconds later.

Tell your brother that he’s gotta rise up… tell your sister that she’s gotta rise up… when are these colonies gonna rise up…

Oh, for God’s sake.

BTS Reacts - Meeting A Cute Make-Up Stylist

Min Yoongi: Min Yoongi doesn’t say a word to you the whole time you’re brushing his eyelids. You don’t think much of his quiet attitude, because from what you’ve seen and heard, he isn’t one to talk much when he’s not in front of a camera. Yoongi does admit to himself that you’re very attractive, and he’s a bit apprehensive around you, because of your good-looks. He’s not sure if he can even muster the courage to talk to you - he doesn’t know if he’s going to bother you when you’re working, and he doesn’t want to be a nuisance to someone he wants to get to know better. You’re just about done with his make-up, when he finally speaks up. Yoongi doesn’t want this to be his last encounter with you.

“Hey, are you going to be my regular stylist from now on? I mean, I’m just curious. We should probably get to know each other better, if that’s the case.”

Kim Taehyung: Taehyung would do everything in his power to get your attention - you’re a fresh face backstage, and he’s completely unaware that you’re meant to be his new stylist. Your delightful appearance is undeniable to him - when you near him in dressing room, he introduces himself to you excitedly. Tae is great at making people feel right at home with him; so much so, that you don’t realize the time flying by. When you get up to finally get to work on his face, he gets visibly upset in his chair because he thinks you’re about to leave. You swivel his seat around to face the mirror, about to wipe a dollop of foundation on his forehead when he grabs your wrists, bursting out laughing; not realizing why exactly you’re standing so dangerously close to his face.

“W-What are you doing!?”
( Taehyung, I’m your new make-up artist, I have to start on you eventually! )
“… Huh? Really!? I thought you were just some cute staff member! Why didn’t you say something?”

Park Jimin: Jimin is timid at first when he’s greeted by the sight of a new make-up stylist. He’s not sure how to act around you, since he’s just met you. He doesn’t like it when someone is uncomfortable being with him - this sentiment rings strongest in this instance, especially since you’re going to be working on his make-up from here on out; he doesn’t want someone as comely as you, who’s obliged to pretty him up, feel like they can’t talk openly to him. Jimin won’t make any obvious advances - at least, not just yet - he’d like to get to know you as a friend, first. If he does flirt with you, he does so incrementally. Deciding to break the tension in the air, he bats his eyelashes at you while you do so, coyly smiling at you while you puff his reddened cheeks.

“Ah, you’re really doing a great job, ____________. I think I’m almost as pretty as you now!”

Kim Namjoon: Jungkook notices his hyung constantly staring at you as you ready your make-up equipment for the rapper. ‘Ah, Namjoon-hyung, do you think the new stylist is cute?’, asks the curious maknae. Taehyung stares at him expectantly, too. Namjoon turns to his group members in suspicion, however, he knows there’s no use hiding his thoughts; he’s a relatively bad liar, and they’re nosy beyond all compare. He nods in agreement, and as soon as you turn around to powder his skin, they yell Namjoon’s confession, startling you. The rapper shuts his eyes and chuckles anxiously, denying their claims. You end up joining in on the laughter anyway, even as they persistently tell you that Kim Namjoon has the hots for you.

“Aish, stop it, you morons - they’re trying to do their job! I hope you can get used to doing this with them around; they’re not going to stop teasing us.”

Jung Hoseok: He can’t believe that the person he was admiring from across the room is actually his new make-up artist; he can’t stop himself from blushing when you introduce yourself. He doesn’t know what he’s done to receive such good luck, to have someone like you get assigned to him. He breaks the ice with a bit of small talk first, which eventually escalates into tongue-in-cheek teasing, and it makes him happy to see you comfortable with him. Hobi knows he has to keep things professional between the two of you, but it doesn’t stop him from getting chummy with you often - you are too irresistible to him, not to. When you’re done, he indirectly compliments you, staring into the mirror before him as he facetiously asks:

“Oh my god, who is that handsome man staring right back at me!?”
( You giggle when he raises his two thumbs in approval with a large grin on him. )
“Let’s look forward to more shows together, okay, ____________?”

Kim Seokjin: Jin would be the most welcoming member of all. As soon as he lays his eyes on you, he’s immediately appeased by your loveliness. You drop your kit on the way to Seokjin, and he rushes over to help you. He smiles to himself when he touches your fingers occasionally, bumping hands with you when fumbling for your make-up. He jokes about your clumsiness while sneaking a glance at your pleasant face every so often. You tell him you’re sorry, which makes him laugh at how unnecessarily apologetic you are. Seokjin wants to make the best impression that he can on you, so that you can feel close to him immediately, not wanting a second wasted on being strangers. He waves cutely at you after helping you up, introducing himself innocently:

“Nice to meet you, ___________ - I’ll do my best as Bangtan’s visual with your make-up skills, so please take care of me!”

Jeon Jungkook: Even though Kook is all grown up, able to handle his shy self pretty well now, he still gets the jitters when he sees you approaching with a make-up brush in hand. You’re not the usual make-up noona that touches up his face. He may act the player in front of fans, but because he’s backstage, he has his guard down. His anxiety doubles when he realizes how adorable you are. The both of you introduce yourself without much trouble, but when you lean in to enhance his features, he gulps nervously. His heart is thumping wildly - how is he supposed to attend stages with you around to make him feel uptight just before a performance? He even has to call for one of his hyungs to distract him. Yoongi, who sits beside him while being primped, ignores the maknae completely. You pull away from Jungkook, asking him if he’s unhappy with his make-up.

“Wha-? Ah, no, you’re beautifu - I MEAN, IT’S beautiful! I just… nevermind, it’s nothing! Sorry!”

Can I resend my graves request about him falling for somebody he was initially irritated by? If this doesn't inspire you though then just ignore it lol 🙂🙂

Here you go! There will be time lapses! This turned out way longer than I expected lol

Master list

Imagine: Graves falling for you despite his original annoyance with you.

“Another screw up?” He asked, irritation clear in his tone. He didn’t understand what you were doing even working at MACUSA, week by week it was just another mistake of yours that slowed his work process down.

“Yes sir…” You dropped your head down, not wanting to meet his disappointed gaze. You admired Mr. Graves so much, he was the best of the best, and yet no matter how hard you tried nothing ever seemed to go your way.

The director tossed the folder of paperwork onto his desk, rubbing at his temples as he tried to figure out a way to correct the mistakes. The paperwork would take forever to go through now.

“Do you like your job, Ms, Y/N?”

You glanced up, eyes a bit wide at his sudden question. But, the beat of your picked up its pace and you worried so for your future here.

“I-I do, sir. Very much.”

He leaned back in his chair, kicking his boots up on the desk as he stared you down. “Then I suggest you start lessening your incessant need to make mistakes.”

The threat was evident on his voice, and you felt much like a child being scolded by a parent. This was torture, and you felt the beginnings of tears in your eyes.

“I promise to try harder, sir. I’m so sorry.” You bowed a bit, trying to show some respect before you moved to leave his office.

He watched you go, dark eyes following every movement as he thought deeply to himself. You were a constant headache for him, but he couldn’t help but feel a bit guilty over the dejected state you were in.

****

You rushed down the halls of the large building, apologizing to the other aurors as you bumped into them. You had just finished up all your reports and you were eager to hand them to Mr. Graves yourself. You had looked over every little detail, and even asked your friend for help to make sure nothing was missing. Hopefully, he’d be congratulating you this time…

“Mr. Graves!”

You opened the door to his office, smiling widely until you saw Madame Picquery standing there, stern look on her face. Just your luck that he would be having a meeting with the president.

“I-….” You blushed deeply in embarrassment, suddenly feeling very small.

Graves raised his eyebrow at you, letting out a sigh as he apologized to the president. She just waved him off, giving you a small smile before excusing herself. You watched her go, swallowing the nervous lump that had developed in your throat.

“I sincerely hope you have a good reason to be barging into my office without a knock.” He warned, taking a seat as he picked up his pen and began writing down some information.

“Well I…um…”

“Out with it…” He grew annoyed, tilting his head towards you in frustration.

“I finished my reports, sir. I just wanted to deliver them to you…”

He seemed slightly impressed by that, and he held his hand out for you to hand him the folders. He opened them up, clasping his hands together and resting his chin atop them as he read over your work. He had to admit, these were far more detailed than your last ones, and as far as any errors went he could find none. He closed the folder, not even glancing up at you as he continued his own work.

“Good job.”

As far as compliments from the director went, this was probably as good as it got, and you would take that. You smiled brightly, clapping your hands cheerfully as you thanked him for his time.

“Thank you, sir! I promise not to let you down again!”

You turned on your heel, and as you moved to open his office door you tripped over the trash can, barely catching yourself on the doorframe. The bang of the metal drum rang loudly through the halls and his office, making him look up at you.

You stood silently against the door, eyes screwed shut in disbelief of your clumsiness. You finally got a moment to shine, and then this. How perfect, you thought. With a sigh, you mumbled an apology and slowly walked out of the room after putting his trash can back.

Unbeknownst to you though, Graves had watched the whole thing with a small grin on his face that he hid behind his hands.

*****

Percival strode down the hallway, briefcase in hand as he headed towards his office, he was beyond exhausted. The last few nights trying to deal with an investigation had finally taken a toll on him, and all he wanted was to finish up his reports and head home. He turned the corner, stopping when he saw you walking into his office with a pile of papers. They were no doubt more paperwork on the case from the other aurors. With a heavy sigh he continued on, stopping in his tracks when he found you halfway under his desk. You were scrambling around, cursing to yourself about something he couldn’t quite hear.

“What are you doing?”

You squeaked in surprise, instinctively jumping back only to hit your head hard against his wooden desk.

“Ow!”

You held your sore head in your hands, trying hard not to cry at the pain.

“I was just…”

Truth is, you managed to drop all his folders when you came in. And your luck would have it that he showed up just now.

Graves looked down at the floor, gritting his teeth when he saw all the papers scattered about. He would’ve yelled just then, completely done with all the issues of this week, but when you looked up at him, cheeks stained red, and eyes looking as innocent as ever…he didn’t have it in him anymore.

He placed his briefcase on the desk, kneeling down next to you as he started to reach for the papers. You quickly started doing the same, trying to stop him from helping.

“Oh no, Sir! Please let me, it was my fault after all!”

As you went to retrieve one, your hands brushed, and you both froze. His fingers hovered just above your hand, yet the heat of his palm was still felt. Just then your heart skipped a beat, blood rushing to your face even more now and all you could do was stare down at your hands in wonder.

Graves looked up at you, his expressive eyes staring straight into your soul and making you fidget nervously. You should’ve moved, but his gaze held you in place.

He let his fingers trial softly over the back of your hand, sending a shock of electricity throughout both your bodies that even caught him by surprise. He held his breath for only a second, before he let his fingers slide off your hand and he grabbed the paper.

“Go get us some coffee. I’ll pick this up.”

You were somewhat at a loss for words, your heart was still beating madly in your chest and you stared up at him with a shocked look.

“Sir?”

“Coffee. Black.”

You nodded quickly and ran out of his office.

****

Graves chuckled softly at your words, taking a sip from his mug as he spoke.

“What kind of American doesn’t like coffee?”

You smiled sheepishly, organizing the papers in his filing cabinet. The past few weeks had been spent like this, and your boss slowly began to warm up to your presence. Ever since that brush of skin things had been different. Though he still made you nervous.

“I suppose that is un-American of me.”

“Hm.”

Graves watched you closely, eyeing you over the rim of his coffee mug as you leaned forward to put a paper away. He wasn’t sure how this happened, or even where it began. Somehow you worked your way into his very heart and it drove him endlessly mad. He was always far too busy in his career to even pursue romantic relationships. The furthest he’d go is taking a woman home and that’d be the end of that. Yet, you made him stop that all together. Perhaps it was the one night he shared with another coworker, only to look down and see your face moaning in pleasure beneath him. Whatever the case, he couldn’t bring himself to let you go. That’s why he invited you here so often, of course he never stated that though. He wasn’t sure how to further this…whatever it was.

Perhaps it was your clumsy nature that made him like you, it was rather endearing at times. You always got this embarrassed wide eyed look that made it hard not to smile at. Or maybe it was your eagerness to please him. You were simply cute, a breath of fresh air amongst the stern women he worked around.

He looked you over, running a hand through his slicked back hair as he took in every detail. From the way you hummed peacefully to yourself, to the way you bit your lip in thought. It was all so tempting a sight, and he’d be damned if any other man took that from him.

****

“Mr. Abernathy, that’s very kind of you but I’m not-”

“Oh come on, just one date?”

Your supervisor smiled at you, leaning over the front desk as he tried his hardest to convince you. But, you weren’t interested in him one bit, you knew his reputation around here after all.

“I really-”

“Abernathy, shouldn’t you be off supervising the wand permits?”

Graves leaned against the counter, glaring at the shorter man. Abernathy, ever fearful of the director, nodded quickly and rushed off down the hall, nervously looking back at you both.

You sighed in relief, giving Percival a grateful smile. “Thank you. He’s a very persistent man.”

“He’s a rat.”

You giggled at that, getting up from your chair as Graves motioned for you to follow him. The wall to his office was rather silent, and you kept stealing glances his way in wonder. You hoped you hadn’t done something wrong.

“Mr. Graves-”

“Percival is fine.”

A smile made its way onto your face, and you nodded happily at that. “Percival…is everything okay?”

He ignored that, and as soon as he stepped into the office with you he shut his door, grabbing your arm and pushing you against the wall. The papers you held flew everywhere, and you gasped as his lips descended onto yours.

“Mm!”

Your hands flailed around for a second, trying to comprehend what was happening. But, the warmth of his mouth on yours made you melt into the kiss, and you slowly let your eyes flutter closed.

Graves held you firmly against him and the wall, his hands trailing down your sides and resting on your waist. He had waited far too long to do this, and as your superior he should’ve thought it through a little more but right now he didn’t care. He pulled away, his warm breath brushing across your cheek as he spoke.

“What have you done to me…?”

“When is this little one going to pop out.” You groaned head falling onto Conor’s shoulder.

“When he or she feels like it Y/N.” Conor laughed handing you some chocolate, “Plus it’s a Maynard baby, we are always late.”

It had been eight months since you found out you were pregnant, you had gone to the doctors the next morning and they relived you had already been pregnant for a month. Of course Jack was enthusiastic and practically jumped onto to Conor when he was telling him, you remember the look of horror on Conor’s face when he realised he had indeed walked in when you having sex and had got pregnant from it.

Right now though, you were a week past your due date and everyone was getting impatient; especially Jack. All he wanted was for a little Maynard to be running around the house, and finally have the family he wanted.

However, being a week past your due date meant that Jack still had to go and catch up on all those meetings he had been missing on. So that left you, Anna and Conor in the Maynard household by yourselves as Jack was in London and his parents were at work.

And it turns out lucky was not your side today.

You were sat on the sofa in between the oldest and youngest Maynard when you suddenly felt the need to go to the toilet, groaning and mumbling a ‘not again’ causing the two siblings to laugh you got and it only took you four steps out the living room when you felt it.

“Conor!” You screamed in panic, you heard both siblings jump up and run to the hall way where you stood with pure horror on your face. “The fucking water balloon popped.”

It went in the slow motion, Conor ran back into the living room to grab you phone so he can call the midwife and Anna, well Anna panicked. Badly. “Oh my fucking God, what do I d-”

“Anna.” You snapped softly, Anna looked up at you panic clear in her eyes. “Call Jack.”

You watched as she nodded and ran into the living room to get her phone, just as she left a pain surged within your body causing you to let a yelp. Conor ran back out with your phone pressed up to his ear, “You okay?”

“It hurts.” You moaned out and Conor quickly rushed that you were in pain to your midwife.

“Okay, um, Y/N. How much does it hurt?” Conor asked, throwing one of your arms over his shoulder.

You said two words that soon turned everyone in a mode of panic, “A lot.”

“Anna!” Conor shouted, “Hey Y/N, look we are going to take you to the hospital okay? It’s going to be okay.”

You nodded feeling the pain get worse, Anna had come out of the living room, shoes on her feet and her phone on speaker. “Jack won’t pick up.”

Conor muttered curse words at your boyfriend as he thought of a plan, “Okay, right, Anna hold Y/N as I get some shoes and my keys, call mum and dad. Y/N use your phone to call you parents and see if Jack will answer the phone to you okay? Okay? Good plan.”

Anna put your arm around your shoulder as Conor jumped over your water leak, Anna passed you your phone as your quickly called your mum telling her it was time and Anna did the same thing with her parents.

Just as you hung up, Conor came spirting down the hallway totally forgetting that there was a pulled of water because he went flying through it and slipped in the air. You had burst into laughter at the sight of a horrified Conor sat in the puddle of you water, “That’s fucking disgusting.” Conor spoke and shouted the last word.

It wasn’t till you had stopped laugh and moaned in pain everyone got back to their senses and the next thing you know you were rushed out into the car.

Picking your phone, you rang your boyfriend, “Heyyyyyyy, this is Jack I can-”

“I swear to shit I am going to fucking kill him.” You muttered untill an idea struck you, scrolling through your contacts you clicked on Lexi’s name and handed the phone to Anna as she was sat in the back seat with you.

“Y/N is ever-”

“Lexi its happening.” Anna panicked voice ran down the phone with Conor shouted curse words at over cars.

Lexi sat on the other side of the phone pale as a ghost, she jumped up from her seat and burst through the doors that held the live meeting Jack was doing. Jack was smiling towards the interviewer when Lexi burst into the room and he knew, he knew just then you were going to be having the baby.

She didn’t have to utter anything before Jack had jumped up from his chair and grabbed her phone out of her hands and started running down the corridors. “Baby?” He asked down the phone hearing Lexi run after him.

“Jack?” Anna asked wincing in pain when you squeezed her hand.

“Is she okay? What’s happening? I’m on my way.” Jack rushed pushing people out the way, one of those people having being Caspar who frowned watching one of his best friend spirt through people with Lexi spirting right behind him.

It took Caspar three seconds before he was running after them screaming at his manager who was gaping at him, “I’M NOT MISSING MY BEST FRIENDS BIRTH.”

Jack had managed to reach Lexis car, where Lexi had thrown him the keys and he was already in the car starting up the car with Lexi he quickly put the phone on speaker and threw it into her lap. He was about to ask Anna to pass the phone to you when he heard the back doors of the car being thrown open and someone jumping in the back seat.

He turned around and saw Caspar sat there putting his belt on, not even questioning how Caspar had found them he pulled out the parking space. “Pass the phone to Y/N.”

“Jack.” He heard your voice and he instantly frowned at the pain leaking within your voice.

“Baby listen, I am going to make this okay?” He spoke speeding through the streets of London.

You yelped in pain and Jack sped faster, “It’s going to take you at least two hours with traffic.”

Jack opened his mouth to speak but Caspar voice cut through “There’s no traffic it will take you an hour and a half.”

“Caspar?” You questioned confusingly.

“Hey shorty, anyway with the way Jack’s speeding it will probably take us an hour maybe less.”

“I don’t care how long it takes, if your ass does not get here by the time I’m squeezing this baby out I am going to murder you.” And with that you hung up leaving Jack to speed to Brighton.

“Listen very carefully Y/N, approximately twenty minutes you are going to have to start pushing. We need you to choose one person to stay in the room with you as well.” The doctor told you wearily knowing that Jack still hadn’t arrived.

Nodding your head, the doctor left you and the Maynard family, “If Jack doesn’t make it, Conor you better be fucking ready.”

“Me?” Conor asked surprised.

“No Connor Ball, yes fucking you.”

Conor nodded, holding your hand for every time you need to squeeze. The doctor came in a few minutes after holding some scrubs, “Have you chosen who will be staying in the time with you?”

Conor stood up holding his hand out ready to take them when a loud bang echoed the room and an out of breath sweaty Jack Maynard entered the room, “Am I late?”

“Oh thank the lord, I don’t know if I could have done that.” Conor sighed pushing the scrubs in Jack’s hands walking out the room, “This baby better be the best damn baby in the world, causing me heart attacks all day.”

“Jack.” You gritted out seeing him just staring you with a face of awe, “Put the damn scrubs on.”

Nodding his head Jack quickly went into the room bathroom and put them on as the rest of his family left the room wishing you a good luck or in Helen’s words “If it’s anything like my boys, you’re going to be in hell.”

The doctor started talking to you about how you were going to need to start pushing but from the corner of your eye you saw Jack hand the midwife something before he walked over to you.

“Mr. Maynard ready?” The doctor asked.

Jack nodded, bending down whispering sweet nothings into your ear as you screamed. “Come on princess, you can do it.”

Jack looked up towards the doctor who nodded at the boy, “One more push baby, one more.”

Jack watched as you screamed one last time before he heard the small cries of your baby, he kissed your forehead laughing softly as you cried in happiness. He lifted his he heads and watch as the midwife came towards him, “Congratulations, it’s a baby girl.”

You watched the midwife show Jack your baby girl before turning towards you and handing her over to you. You choked back a sob staring down at the little girl in front of you, “She’s so beautiful.” You whispered running a finger down her face.

“She’s perfect.” Jack whispered crying, you both stared at the little human before the midwife came over asking if she can check everything again. She handed your little girl to another nurse before she came back with a smile on her face.

“Have you decided on a name?” She smiled.

Jack looked down at you, you nodded with a smile. “Alexa Maynard.”

“Oh what a lovely name, let me go get Alexa for you now.” She smiled walking away.

Jack put his hand in his pocket and messed around with the small black box, he watched the nurse hand his daughter over to you.

It’s time…

The nurse handed Alexa to you before speeding walking away, looking down at your daughter you gasped, tears filling up in your eyes when you read what was on the baby grow.

Looking to your left you found your boyfriend with his left knee on the floor with a beautiful diamond ring.

“When I first talked to you at that bar, I thought god damn I want this girl, not just for the night but I want this girl in my life. I don’t care if she’s my best friend or the girl I wake up to every morning. I want her. The time you fought with my crazy ex-girlfriend with just sass, then laughed like nothing with the boys was the time I knew we were going to be together for the rest of our life’s. I love your smile, I love the way your eyes twinkle, I love your laugh, and God I love you. Will you Marry me?

“Yes, Yes, Oh my god yes!” Jack smiled getting up the floor and very carefully slipped the ring on your finger, as you were still holding Alexa.

Jack whipped your tears pressing a small but still full of love kiss, Jack took Alexa out of your arms and started mumbling promises to his new girl. You stared the two of them in awe before looking down at the beautiful ring in front of you.

From that very moment you knew your life was going to only get better and better from now.

Good Luck Daddy - Chanyeol one shot

A/N: I never understood the “Daddy” kink, and then I laid eyes on Chanyeol and I have been fucked up ever since. I feel like this goes without saying, but, uh, smut.

You were backstage before a show. It was the final show of tour, and you were ecstatic to have Chanyeol home for an extended period of time after this.

You had been hanging out with all of the guys before the show as they had hair and make up done. You were sat on a chair next to the door watching the whole process.

They had decided to straighten Chanyeol’s locks and, though you loved his bouncy curls, when his hair was done like this, it did something extra for you.

“Ten minutes until show time. Let’s get mics on,” you heard the stage manager call out. The guys started piling out of the room. You called good luck wishes after them. They grinned and waved at and high-fived you on their way out.

Chanyeol hung out behind to give you a quick kiss. You whispered, “good luck, daddy,” against his lips. He immediately straightened up; you heard the door slam shut and the lock turn.

Next thing that you knew, you were against that same door. Chanyeol was pressing your wrists against it firmly with his large hands.

Fic: Faint Distances [Vax, ensemble]

[AO3 | FFN | More Fic]

In the cold and the night and the storm, a half-elf walks into a bar. Vax remembers.

Spoilers for Episode 88.

Faint Distances

i.

Vax walks into a tavern.

He’s still new to traveling with a party, still prone to wandering off on his own at every opportunity, but the tavern is a warm spot of light and noise in the quiet chill of the city, and tonight he craves the anonymity of a crowd. Ignoring the yelling of the rowdier patrons up toward the bar, he sidles into a dark corner, propping up the wall with arms crossed, listening to the faint rattle of rain on the windows, watching the ebb and flow of the tavern’s patrons—

“Why’d you pick that guy’s pocket?”

The only reason Vax doesn’t yelp at the voice directly in his ear is because his brain is already busy trying to figure out how likely it is for half-elves to have a heart attack at the ripe old age of twenty-six. He does, however, whip around so quickly that Grog has to duck out of the way of his hair. “Grog, what the fuck? Are you following me?”

Grog shrugs. “You seemed, like, distracted. Wanted to know where you go when you fuck off like that. If you needed coin, you could’ve asked. I would’ve bought the first round.” He pauses as though taken aback by his own generosity. “Uh. Wait. Maybe. If I have coin. Pike says I gotta be nicer to people I meet because I’m so big, you know, and you really don’t gotta be stealing if you don’t need to—”

“Uh,” says Vax, because Grog’s voice is carrying more than a little, and to be perfectly honest, he’s not exactly sure which of the people currently side-eyeing him is the one whose coin purse he snatched without thinking. “Just, ah, honing my skills. But that doesn’t explain how you—”

“Tiberius did some sort of magic to help me be sneakier. Said he’d do it just this once because he wanted to practice the spell.”

“Listen,” Vax says, watching a particularly rough-looking half-orc reach for his absent coin purse with a growing expression of concern. “That sounds like an incredible adventure of a story, and I’d love to hear all about it, big guy, so what do you say we get back to the group and call it a night?”

“Well, now that you have money, I figure maybe you’re up to buy the next round.”

Vax grins desperately at the now-scowling half-orc stomping in their direction. “Are you fucking with me, Grog?”

Grog laughs. “Maybe a little.”

a/n: war of hormone taehyung was a blessing.

Kim Taehyung was an ass. A total, complete ass. But you needed a boyfriend, someone to keep your mom off your back when she visited later that afternoon. Every year she comes to visit and sees that you’re single and lonely and you feel her pity every time.

Certainly you could do better than him, but in less than an hour? No, your skills aren’t that good.

Besides, he owed you a favor. A bet a while back led to you blowing him the backseat of your car, and you got him to cum twice. He decided to dedicate himself to paying you back, even if it wasn’t with pleasing you because it was the best head he’d ever received in his life.

Approaching the black sports car he drove so recklessly that you’re surprised he hasn’t died from a car crash, you knocked on the window. He rolled it down, and a barrage of smoke hit you in the face. Scrunching up your nose in disgust, you look into the driver’s seat to see him there with a lit cigarette hanging from his lips.

“What can I do for you gorgeous? Finally decided it was time for me to find out what’s under those skirts you always wear?” He smirked, “Bet there’s nothing there, your ass looks too good.”

Ah, Kim Taehyung. What a breath of fresh air from all of the subtle, less demeaning compliments. Heavy sarcasm here.

“As much as it hurts me to say this, I need you to do me a favor.”

He nods, “Finally ready to let me pay you back?” he reached over, opening the door for you. You stepped in, adjusting your skirt as you got comfortable.

“Okay, so this may be a little bizarre, and may also be way too much to ask and that’s okay if you don’t want to because honestly I’d be very peculiar of anyone–”

“Babe,” he interrupted, “I don’t care what it is, I’ll do it.” you glanced over at him, the cigarette that was previously hanging from his mouth being tossed out of the window.

“Can you pretend to be my boyfriend and live with me for the next week and a half?” you asked quickly, avoiding eye contact as you did.

“What? Why do you need me to do that?”

“Because my mom is coming to visit and she’s really adamant of me having someone and not living in that giant apartment on my own and I just don’t want to feel the shame and pity,”

Taehyung raised an eyebrow, “There’s a thing called roommates.”

“I win.” You smirk as you slide the poker chips over to your side of the table, the man on the other side of the poker table looking surprised. “Three of a kind. King of Spades.”

You’re at a bar with Sam and Dean, doing your weekly poker game hustle. While they were amazing at beating people in pool, your specialty is poker. You can beat anybody at the game, and you use this to your advantage. Men take you on, thinking that they can beat an “innocent, beautiful girl like you” without a doubt. But you win every time; you can’t remember the last time you lost a game of poker.

“Here I was, thinking you were bluffing.” The man nods his head. “Rematch?”

“No, I think I’ll take what I earned.” You smile, looking at Sam, who is standing to the side of the table. Dean is playing pool on the other side of the room, undoubtedly winning his game.

Sam sends you a smile, and you get up from your seat, walking over to him. He slips his arm around your waist, something the boys always do when you’re in a bar. It was nothing romantic, just something they did. Well, something Dean always did. Sam didn’t do it too often, but you were glad he did at this moment, since the man you just took almost a thousand dollars from looked pissed off.

Dean glances over at you, making a face slightly when he sees Sam’s arm around you, the two of you smiling and talking to each other. He says something you can’t quite hear to the guys he’s playing with, setting down his pool stick and taking a wad of cash from the man on his right.

You were fidgeting with your red skin tight dress as you stood backstage at the Graham Norton show with your current co-star James McAvoy and ex-costar Tom Hiddleston. You checked your phone for the eighteenth time, seeing a text from your best friend in the whole world, Ida.

“Good luck! : )” she sent, upbeat and encouraging as always. She’d been your good friend for five years now and she was busy with her music journalist job, interviewing Metallica tonight.

“Thanks!” you replied back.

“You ready for this, Y/N?” James asked, his Scottish accent so thick and so nice, you loved the way your name sounded on his lips. He was buttoning his suit jacket as he glanced your way. You tried not to stare, but goddamn was that hard. He was funny, handsome, clever, charming, talented….there wasn’t anything you didn’t like about him.

“Uh, yeah,” you tried, taking a deep breath.

“You did what?”

“Come on, Blainey Squirt boy. It’ll be fun!”

Blaine grimaced as his older brother rambled into his ear over the phone. Every week they tried to set up at least one time and day to chat and stay in touch with each other’s lives, but Cooper, as always, had derailed that. It was six o’clock on a Thursday morning—Blaine’s one day off this week.

“Look, I had a blast when I was on The Bachelorette. Made a lot of friends, got to go all over the place on really fancy dates. It was great for my image, too. That’s how I got the recurring spot on The Young and the Restless. They’re talking about making me a regular!”

Catch Up Here: Masterpost

Gasping for air, you found yourself awake in an instant, every fiber of your being burning in pain. There wasn’t an inch on your body that didn’t hurt, and you felt like you were breathing underwater, each breath painful and forced. “Hold her down!” You heard someone yell, their words mangled and hard to understand.
