ok here is kind of a rough draft on this list i’ve been thinking about for a while. Let me know what your favorite level of fantasy is! be it a video game or books or movies! I think for me the goldilock zone is Level 2-3
One more time: who wants to make a podcast about space w/ me?
In the first episode we come out of the cryogenic stasis we were in on the way to the half space station that’s in orbit of the celestial body that I’ll describe more in a sec.
We’ve already gotten out of our shuttle and onto the station, which only has the bare necessities we need until the other parts we have to permanently dock with show up over the next couple months. Over time, weird but generally inconsequential things start to happen. We continue with the mission as planned: attempt to make the planet we’re orbiting suitable for life.
We’re orbiting a planet in its “Goldilocks zone” but it has very little water but enough of certain compounds that basically lighting the atmosphere on fire will make oceans form. The idea was to launch a very small nuke at one of the poles where potential future colonists have no reason to hang out at anyway in attempt to ignite the entire atmosphere
(I’m going with this based on the idea that the first nuclear bomb test had a ~10% chance of igniting our atmosphere and ending all life and the fact that methane has a fairly lower combustion temperature than N2, O2, and CO2)
this would create a lot of water and carbon dioxide, and we would more or less then have to only import enough plants to cause an oxygenation event where a majority of the CO2 becomes O2.
There are plenty of things that could go wrong to give us plot. If not, the passive secondary objective of attempting to make alien contact could just happen.
I have been wanting to do this for so long jesus christ :”) I love this idea too much and literally all I could think about even in the shower pfft
But yeah articulate and logical Dee even in the prime age of 7? and Winnie trying to speak- also- a little surprise on dan’s finger! (mainly cause dost srsly) I guess this could be for a play that Winnie has to do in primary school?
I’ve finally decided to completely just succumb to these nerds srsly what is work what is life jesus christ
Set in Accra, Ghana, The Ghanaian Goldilocks is a modern twist on the classic Goldilocks fairytale. Like traditional kente cloth, West African culture and themes are woven seamlessly into the story of a boy with sun lightened hair named Kofi, better known to his friends and family as Goldilocks.
Like the Goldilocks in the traditional tale, Kofi has been known to get into some trouble here and there, but it’s an unexpected visit to a neighbor’s house that teaches him a valuable lesson of a lifetime.
