State of the Warriors as of Nov. 25, 2013

Here’s some updates on how the team is looking before their next matchup in New Orleans:

  • Andrew Bogut has been suspended 1 game for his altercation with Joel Freeland and Mo Williams in last Saturday’s game vs. the Blazers. Williams has also been suspended for 1 game.
  • Draymond Green has been fined $20k for his involvement in the altercation with the Blazers, as well as the Blazers’ Wesley Matthews. LaMarcus Aldridge has been fined $45k.

  • Jermaine O'Neal is still out indefinitely with a sore right knee and right groin sprain. COULD come back during the 4-game road trip.
  • Toney Douglas is still out indefinitely with a left tibia stress reaction. Soonest he can come back will be against the Raptors (at Oracle) after a 4-game road trip.
  • Ognjen Kuzmic is still out indefinitely with a fractured pinky finger. [Just cut it off it’s not like you need it anyway!! JK] Other sources say he has a broken right hand.
  • Festus Ezeli is still out healing from his knee surgery. Soonest he can come back is mid-January.
  • Andre Iguodala is still out indefinitely with a strained left hamstring. He’ll need no surgery.
  • Steph Curry has been cleared to play after suffering a mild concussion against the Utah Jazz. He played against the Blazers on Saturday after missing time against Memphis and the Lakers.

  • Nemanja Nedovic was assigned to the Santa Cruz Warriors yesterday and contributed 31 points, 3 assists, and a steal on 9-12 shooting (4-4 from 3PT). He also went 9-11 from the line in 35 minutes of play. He will likely play significant minutes as the backup point guard considering Kent Bazemore’s lack of skill so far in season.
  • Dewayne Dedmon was also on assignment from Golden State, and he contributed a solid 23 points, 14 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 3 blocks on 10-17 shooting from the field and 3-4 from the line. #Potential #LotsOfUpside
  • Seth Curry also had a double-double with 10 points and 11 assists. He also had 2 rebounds and a steal, but he didn’t shoot very well last game. He’s currently being groomed for point guard duties so he can possibly be a backup to Steph and Nedo.
