golden age catwoman

Detective Comics #122 (April 1947)
Written by Bill Finger, art by Bob Kane (supposedly) and Charles Paris

As much as the Golden Age Catwoman manipulated Batman with her feminine wiles, she did genuinely care for the Caped Crusader. In this outing, she injured Batman during a skirmish and after she kidnapped Robin, her first question concerned Batman’s well-being. Catwoman brushed off Robin’s allegations that she had feelings for Batman, but there was an obvious fondness below the surface of her villainous veneer.
