going to jump off a cliff

I won’t be posting on here for the next couple of days because @ashleydiscovers and I are going on a mini road trip up to Yosemite! (YIPPEE)
But! I will return with photos galore, so long as my camera doesn’t jump off a cliff or something, so there’s that. Hope you all have a lovely weekend! Cross your fingers and toes for us that our semi-ancient but well-meaning truck pulls through this weekend!

Please travel the world. Soak up the different culture and eat strange foods. Swim in the clear ocean and suntan on a warm rock. Take hundreds of pictures that do not do the trip justice. Go on long runs just to see the view from a different angle. Meet new faces and shake their hands; speak to them in their language even if you are not quite sure what you are saying. Go to dancing halls in Jamaica, jump off cliffs in Greece, climb mountains in Chile. The world is mine, the world is yours, the world is ours. Please travel the world.

There are roses on Derek’s doorstep.

No note. No scent trail. After determining that there is nothing inherently magical or deadly about them, he spends the entire rest of the day researching symbolism and archaic demon customs, trying to figure out what kind of death threat he’s just been handed.

It doesn’t occur to him until nightfall, when the neighbors start discussing their romantic dinner plans at a decibel he has trouble tuning out, that he realizes the flowers might not have been delivered with malicious intent.

Because, apparently, today is Valentine’s Day. And apparently someone decided that Derek should receive flowers to celebrate the occasion.

Derek Hale has a secret admirer.

He honestly would have preferred the death threat.

That I’m afraid beyond measure of what love can do to a person. Because I spent the last two years loving someone who didn’t know anything other than tearing apart the sole purpose of my existence. The boy who runs beside me in my dreams convinces me that love isn’t always teeth and bite marks. In my dreams, my scars aren’t there because I never tasted a bitter love before. The boy in my dreams loves me enough to let me meet his mother and destroys the idea that love is what I came here to die for.

Clony headcanons and ideas (Sorry it's so long!)

-Tony is protective of Clay. Whenever someone has bullied or messed with Clay in the past, Tony has found them and personally “talked” to them.
-Clay still gets recurring nightmares and one of the times he has one, Tony is over for a sleepover. Tony wakes him up and rubs his back to comfort him as Clay catches his breathe.
- When Tony dropped Clay off in ep 11 he, proceeded to drive around the block and sit at the corner of the street to make sure Clay kept his promise about not doing anything stupid.
-Sometimes Clay forgets to eat and Tony has to remind him.
- Whenever Tony and Clay get into an argument Tony goes for a drive in his mustang and Clay goes on a ride on his bike. Tony usually cleans his head the fastest and then goes looking around for Clay. When he finds him he invites him into his car and they drive around while talking about their argument.
- Tony was terrified when Clay almost jumped off the cliff and he got a couple nightmares from the experience.
- Tony likes to call Clay babe and sometimes he likes to use a lot of romantic spanish terms.

-Whenever they go in for a hug or a kiss Tony has to stand on his tip toes to reach Clay.
- The two like to switch between big spoon and little spoon when they get the chance to snuggle.

- Tony is extremely smooth when it comes to flirting.
- When Tony saw all the scratches and bruises on Clays face he inwardly freaked the f*ck out.
- Clay can be super clumsy at times.
- One day when Clays parents weren’t home they both ice skated around his house in their socks.
-Despite his small size and height Tony can dominate just as well (maybe even better) then Clay in the bedroom.
-Clay likes to geek out and rant about the different scenes in the movies they watch and Tony secretly doesn’t mind.
- Tony and Clay sometimes like to go to the park to swing and to casually talk about things.
- Tony sometimes finds it hard to look Clay in the eyes during arguments because his eyes are really expressive.
-Tony is the most responsible out of the two.

- Tony can lift up Clay and when he does this, Clay turns into a messy ball of emotions and embarrassment.
- Tony has tried to get over Clay in the past but couldn’t fully get over him.
-Tony has the best fashion sense out of the two.
-Clay likes to show Tony all his indie bands.
-Clay likes to curl up and hog all the blankets.
-Whenever Clay gets upset or starts crying Tony switches to overprotective boyfriend mode.
-Tonys family ships them harder then anyone.
-Tony is secretly the dancing queen.
-The both of them get attention from both genders and they both can get a little possessive of each other.
-The first time the two went swimming at the beginning of their relationship, Clay couldn’t stop staring.
-Every time Tony pulls up in his mustang he sees Clays eyes brighten a little.
- Sometimes Clay falls asleep in Tonys car and Tony gives him his leather jacket.
Magic > common sense

Context: We had just been on an adventure in our pirate ship, collecting these cursed items, mostly armour and some weapons, that allow the wielder control over an element. We are then faced with a gauntlet of elemental challenges to navigate our ship through things like storm, rocky reef, icebergs ect. once we cleared that we found ourselves at the foot of a 300 ft cliff with a ship sized hole at the top

Cleric: Well we are stuck

Fighter: We could climb it maybe? Do we have enough rope?

Bard (me): Wait a minute *cleric’s name* you can use your shield to control earth right?

Cleric: Yeah?

Me: I have an idea, you can make a big, ship shaped ramp up to that opening right?

Cleric: Oh! Yeah! I can. *To DM* I do that

Other fighter: I see where this is going *To DM* I am going to use my artifact to make an ice sled for the ship

Me: *To DM*I am going to use my artifact to make a small tornado rocket booster out the back of the ship

Wizard: *To DM* I summon a big wave to push us up the ramp

So our insane plan works and we make a sick jump off the ramp with our ship into this cave

DM: Well that was interesting. You know I was actually just planning for you to lower the cliff down to the water level. You guys do realize you could have done that instead right?

Help. I’ve fallen hard for Mystic Messenger and I can’t get up.

I’m one of those fans who have multiple MCs, cause damn they all deserve to be happy. It’s just more fun that way for me ^-^ In all my MM headcanons, art, and fanfics- I always use these girls.

How their story works is that Unknown has 5 different girls to choose to send to the RFA, and whichever member he wants to manipulate determines which girl he chooses to be the party planner (and therefore determining what route the player is on.) All 5 of them were specifically chosen because Unknown knew they would have the most significant influence on their target RFA member.

If you want to know who they are and read more about them, just continue under the cut!

AriA’s File

Okay, what is the deal with Aria’s file? What on earth could be her secret? A secret that would put EZRA in jail, and make him pick Nicole over her?

AD says the following to Aria:

“Jessica DiLaurentis kept excellent records. If Ezra knew what was in your file he would definitely choose Nicole, and she would be visiting him in jail.”

Why would something …

  • in ARIAs file
  • put EZRA in jail
  • AND have him pick Nicole

???????????

One thing we know for sure is it had to be something that happened BEFORE Jessica’s murder, since it is something Jessica found out.

This can be interpreted in two ways:

  1. Jessica DiLaurentis found something incriminating about Ezra that Aria has kept a secret. But…. why would Ezra hate Aria because of it? Why would Ezra blame Aria if this came out? What is she willing to keep secret about Ezra that she would go against her best friends for? Does Aria know a secret about Ezra that if it came out would put him in jail? Okay, there are a few possibilities here, but why would it make Ezra choose Nicole over Aria? Thats the part I just dont understand. Ezra could be upset that Jessica found out something about him, but why would it make him give up his love for Aria???
  2. Jessica found out something about Aria that would cause Ezra to hate her and to do something that would put him in jail….Is this signifying that Ezra would kill Aria if he found out this secret?

I feel like the following photo is significant. The 4 glasses represent the four main girls, Spencer, Hanna, Aria & Emily.

By shattering a glass, it is a symbol that she is no longer one of them, that she is going against the group to protect whatever is in her file.

The girls have always stuck together, so it has to be something HUGE if she is willing to go over to the dArk side.

(Side Note: I swear to GOD if Marlene messes this up and its something stupid Im going to jump off a cliff)

There has always been something sketchy about Aria. I’ve written a million posts about it and don’t want to go through every little thing again because we’ll be here all day, but I do want to go over a few significant things.

  • Aria and Eddie Lamb

When Aria goes into Radley to get info on Bethany’s old roommate, Eddie Lamb recognizes her and says he feels like they have met before. Aria acts REALLY BIZARRE in this scene. She is obviously hiding something. She has some kind of connection to Radley Sanitarium.

———————

  • Aria and Jason

A part of me has always believed that Jason is A. I have written theories about it. He has always had a thing for Aria. The weirdest thing was when he had all of those close-up photos of her sleeping. He claimed Alison took them-but I just dont buy that. And later A had the same photos in his/her lair.

Then there is a very similar scene in later seasons, of Aria hanging up her creepy doll photographs in a dark room. It is a parallel to when Jason is in the darkroom with the pictures of her.

Its possible that whatever is in her file has something to do with Jason. This could lead in to why it would cause Ezra to choose Nicole over Aria.

—————————

  • Aria and Mona

What the hell did Aria whisper to Mona at this moment that had her running scared?????? Aria and Mona have always had an interesting relationship and suspicious conversations.

—————————-

  • The Dollhouse

Aria had the mannequin family framed in her Dollhouse bedroom. The look on her face seems to convey that she KNOWS SOMETHING. Who/why they were taken there.

————

There are so many crazy possibilities as to what is in Aria’s file. The last few episodes of the show have really depressed me. I’ve been majorly disappointed in the writing and reveals. I am really hoping they give us something shocking and amazing for Aria’s secret.

Fingers crossed.

Misfire [Chapter 1]

Summary: The four times Bucky tries to ask you out and fails.

Warnings: couple of swear words, that’s all!

a/n: I’ve got two parts scheduled for Friday and Saturday, then the next two updates are only next week!

The Scent

Ever since you had been assigned to the world’s mightiest dorks superheroes, it had been evident to everyone that you were the light of James Buchanan Barnes’ life.

The man practically turned into someone else around you, with soft smiles and longing stares, paired with the subtlest (not really) heart eyes.

“Why don’t you just ask her out on a date?” Steve questioned, leaning his chin on his palm.

“I can’t just ask her out! She deserves so much more,” Bucky argued. “Plus, she’s too good for me.” His voice quietened as he proceeded to once again belittle himself.

Steve sighed. “We’ve been over this before, Buck. You’re just the same as everyone here, even Y/N. Why don’t you take a chance and ask her out? She’s just as infatuated with you as you are with her.”

“I wouldn’t be too sure of that,” Tony quipped as he strolled into the adjoined kitchen. “He basically goes mushy whenever she’s in the same room. She’s got him wrapped around her finger.”

“I am not!” Bucky protested indignantly, heat creeping up his neck.

“You kinda are,” Steve admitted, earning a glare from Bucky, which soon morphed into a look of defeat.

“How do I ask her to dinner?” He finally gave in, alternating looks between Tony and Steve.

“Why don’t you buy her flowers or something? It’s always a nice gesture,” Steve said thoughtfully as Bucky’s ears perked up.

“Maybe I’ll do that. Thanks Steve! Fuck you Tony!” he shouted gleefully before sprinting away as the latter exclaimed a ‘Hey!’, offended.

Bucky scratched the back of his neck, stopping outside your room. His nervous, sweaty palms grasped a bouquet of flowers he thought you’d like.

He let out an exhale as he raised his fist, knocking on the door thrice before dropping his hand.

A moment later, the door opened to reveal your radiant smile as he swallowed thickly and forced himself to give you a smile back.

“H-hey Y/N.”

“Oh hey Bucky.” You smile widened as you opened the door a little more. You were in sweats and a t-shirt since it was your day off, and the sounds of a movie played from your room.

“I, uh, I brought you some flowers,” he stammered, pushing his wrist forward as you caught sight of the beautiful bunch.

“They’re gorgeous!” you exclaimed, letting go of the door to accept them. As your fingers brushed against his for less than a second, Bucky could swear he felt electricity jolt up his arm.

“Do you like them?” he asked anxiously, his hands making its way to the back of his neck again in a fit of nerves.

“I love them.” You grinned, taking a big whiff of them, inhaling the scent.

“That’s good.” He laughed nervously, stalling the conversation.

“Not that these aren’t lovely or anything, but why’d you suddenly bring me these?” you asked, frowning when your nose twitched uncomfortably. That’s new.

“I, um, I thought that you’d like them and, uh,-” He tried desperately to just throw it out there, but was suddenly interrupted by a large sneeze.

You rubbed your nose as you sniffed, looking at him apologetically. “I’m sorry, what were you saying?”

“I thought that maybe, uh, maybe you’d-”

Achoo!”

His eyebrows shot up in surprise as you looked annoyed.

“I’m sure I haven’t caught a cold, I don’t know why I’m sneezing. I’m so sorry Bucky, go on.” You felt terrible for interrupting him again, but that didn’t stop you from sneezing again.

And again.

And again.

“Are you okay?” Bucky’s eyebrows furrowed together in concern.

“I don’t know what’s going on- achoo!” You broke off your own sentence to much of your annoyance.

Bucky examined you carefully until his gaze dropped to the flowers clutched in your hands. Almost immediately his eyes widened in horror.

You followed his stare until you looked at the bouquet, realisation dawning on you. “Oh.”

“Are you… are you allergic to flowers?” he asked in shock, feeling immensely guilty.

“Not that I know of- achoo!” You wanted to jump off a cliff. “I guess it’s only this type. I’ve never seen them before.”

“Oh God, I’m- I’m so sorry, I-I didn’t know-” ‘Shit, shit, shit, shit’ was the only thing running through his head at that moment. How does one royally fuck up flowers?!

“You didn’t know, how is it your fault? Even I didn’t know.” You couldn’t help but laugh at his horrified expression, cutting your sentence off with another sneeze.

“Sh-should I get you you something, like a tablet or soup or something?” The poor guy didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t ask you out after giving you an allergy you didn’t even know about!

“I’ll be fine.” You giggled, rubbing your nose.

“Should I take them away?” He gestured awkwardly to the flowers, not knowing how to be helpful.

“As much as I don’t want to part with them, I think you should.” You stretched them back to him as he took it with a drop of his shoulders, jumping when you sneezed again.

“Thank you though, Bucky. They’re really beautiful.” You tried to make him feel better about his unfortunate situation.

“I’lll leave you alone now. I hope you feel better soon, Y/N. I’m so sorry.” He smiled wearily back at you as he turned on his heel, trudging away disappointedly.

“She rejected you?” Tony blabbered with a mouth full of apple.

“I gave her a fucking allergy,” he said miserably making Tony choke on his food as he gasped for air.

“How’d you manage to fuck up flowers?”

“I have no idea.”

I wish you’d been more like fire when we first met

so that one touch and I knew you’d do me no good

But no, you were not like fire at all

You were the water gently trickling on my bare skin – cool, refreshing and hypnotizing

and just like water you were always there, everywhere

You were the ocean who breaks my fall every time I jumped off rocky cliffs

You were the waves that gently guide me back to the safety of the shores

You were the long, steamy, warm shower on a stressful day just before I go to sleep

But just like water, I didn’t realize you were drowning me until I couldn’t breathe

Suddenly, everything about you seemed muddy, dark and deep and scary

But I was able to swim away though- swim and thrust and kick and paddle

until everything in me aches and I was exhausted and breathless

And you let me go, watched me run off the same sandy shores we used to spend all summer on, and went back to how you always were – cool, refreshing and hypnotizing

But just so you know

I am writing this in the confines of my room, where no water could be seen

And I hope you’re aware, as painfully as I am, that I am and will always be 70% water

and no amount of drowning could change that

—  The sweet and amazing Mike Wheeler that just wants his new friend El to be happy and get to live the life she deserves but nooo because in the next minute the diabolical Suffer brothers kill her off just before she was about to get a chance at a life where she’s loved for who she is and not what she can do and also the Suffer brothers made Mike watch his friend die which is completely wrong because Mike is the type of person that would jump off a cliff for his friends and was just trying to comfort and encourage El with promises and also how is this going to affect Mike in season two like literally no one is emotionally prepared to watch Mike grieving over Eleven, who will definitely be returning but we don’t know how and in what way and she’ll probably have to go through more pain and trauma than she’s already dealt with in her short life and even worse is the fact that no one has a clue how she’ll get back or even where she is because there has not been new content to overanalyze and create fan theories over in approximately 87 years and 199 days is such a long time to wait with so many questions and also Mike and Eleven were supposed to go to the freaking Snowball together
My Girlfriend's An Idiot

Request: I was wondering if you could do a Jasper imagine, from twilight, where he and the reader are fighting because she’s human and he doesn’t want her to get hurt, but she does the thing regardless and someone accidentally hurts her and Jasper’s alter ego comes out and almost attacks the person so reader has to calm him down and it’s just really cute and fluffy… Sorry this is long.

“You know, for someone who’s seen me naked, I’m a little uncomfortable at how much you try to act like you’re my father.” You snapped, walking through your house, gathering the stuff you’d need for your day trip.

“Y/N, you know I’d never try to control you. I’m just … worried about having you over there. Where I can’t reach you.” Jasper followed behind you.

You sighed. Jessica had invited you to La Push for the day, and Jasper had basically asserted that you were not going to go. He was bothered by the fact that he couldn’t go with you and protect you. And probably slightly bothered by the fact that you’d be hanging out with boys from school. Mostly, though, he worried about the Quileute pack making an appearance.

“Bella’s going too, you and Edward can suffer together.” You said, throwing sun screen and a towel into your tote bag. You felt yourself calming down, and turned around. “Can you please not do that?”

Jasper’s lips twitched. “It’s a habit.”

“Well quit it. I’m angry at you. Take it like a man.” You said, a hint of humor in your voice as you turned around, making your way to the bathroom and shutting the door behind you so that you could change into a bathing suit. He was still standing there when you came out.

“They’re animals.” Jasper said. “And even worse, they’re teenage boys.”

You heard the dryness in his voice but you could see the worry in his expression. He truly didn’t want you to go.

“Mostly, though, they’re just teenage boys. And I can handle those.” You said, grabbing his hands. “Jess and Angela and Bella are gonna be there too, okay? And Mike and Eric.”

Jasper rolled his eyes. “Mike and Eric couldn’t protect you from a pack of guinea pigs.”  You snorted, but softened when he wrapped his arms around you from behind. “They’ll be able to smell me on you. If you got hurt, I don’t know what I would do.”

You turned to face him, wrapping your arms around his neck and pressing your lips to his. “I’ll be careful.” You said, putting one hand on his cheek, fingers brushing over his sharp jawline. “I’ll text you. I’ll stay with people I know. But I’m going.”

He sighed, his hands rubbing absently over your hips. “I suppose I can’t stop you.” He smirked. “I mean, I could.”

“But you won’t.” You said smugly, turning to pack the rest of your things.

“Because my girlfriend carries a surprising amount of wrath in her fragile, mortal body?” He asked, hands still on your hips.

“Yes.” You say, shouldering you bag. “And because you love her and would never dream of restricting her freedom for your own selfish reasons.”

“I’m so glad we’re on the same page.” He said sarcastically, leaning in to kiss your lips, and then your jaw, and down your throat, before he stiffened and Jessica’s car honked from the street.

“Guess that’s my ride.” You said.

He nodded, no longer trying to conceal the worry in his eyes. “I’ll text you.” You said, and he nodded again, stiffly. “And I love you.” You said softly, with a smile.

He was unable to stop the smile that answered yours, “Yeah, yeah. Sure you do.” He said softly, which was his way of saying it back.

You kissed him again when he walked you to the door before you jumped into the backseat of Jessica’s convertible, where Bella was already seated with Angela in the front. Jessica cranked up the music on the radio before the four of you sped off to meet up with Mike and Eric and head to La Push.

You spent the first couple of hours tossing around in the waves. You wrestled Mike to the ground for slapping you with a piece of sea weed until he finally gave up fighting you and apologized. You crawled onto the beach exhausted with the girls and sat in the sand, under the cool grey sky. Though you could tell Jasper was desperately trying not to check in too much, you made sure he knew you were okay every hour or two.

The boys suggested, once it became too cold to swim, that they all take a hike up to the cliffs. Everyone was fairly rested up after swimming and agreed, so you all shrugged your clothes back on and set off up the narrow mountain trail that led to the cliffs above La Push beach.

“And people jump off of these for fun?” Jessica asked skeptically, trying to stare over the cliffs but not daring to come within five feet of the edge.

“That make you nervous?” Mike made like he was going to push her and earned a shriek and a smart punch in the arm in return.

“Any of you ever jumped before?” All of them turned to see a group of three boys emerging onto the cliff, clad in normal clothes but clearly very muscular, and all with dark hair cropped short and dark eyes. You’d never seen the wolves in person but you knew that these had to be some of them, ripped with muscle though the oldest one couldn’t have been more than twenty.

“No way, man.” Eric said. “I’m Eric. This is Mike, that’s Jessica, Y/N, Bella, and Angela.”

“Sam.”

“Jared.”

“Paul.” Each of the boys introduced themselves. You noticed them glancing at you, and you realized Jasper must have been right. They could smell him on you. They all shared a glance and you tried your best not to notice, staring at your phone.

They’re here. You texted Jasper.

His reply was almost immediate: I will come get you.

Do not cross that treaty line. You sent back. Under any circumstances.

You ground your teeth, looking up briefly.

“Y/N, we’re headed back down to start a campfire. You coming?” Angela asked, frowning briefly your troubled expression and glancing at your phone.

“I’ll be down in a minute.”  You said, and they left you alone. You looked back down at your phone.

Who’s being selfish now? Jasper asked.

For keeping you from starting a war? You challenged.

For risking your life because you’re too stubborn to admit you might be in danger.  He shot back.

You shook your head, eyes completely focused on your phone when suddenly the ground fell out from under you and you screamed.

The edge of the cliff. You’d wandered too close to the edge of the cliff. You were falling, eyes closed, and then, with a painful jerk of your arm, you weren’t anymore. Someone had caught you. The one named Sam had grabbed your wrist.

“Grab the ledge.” He said, voice straining with the effort of holding your dead weight. You did and slowly, he hauled you back onto the rocky outcropping. You collapsed on your back on the hard ground, breathing heavily, your arm draped over your eyes.

“Nice … catch.” You said between breaths, still reeling, adrenaline coursing like acid through your veins.

“No problem.” Sam said, sitting beside you. His chest still heaved but he was catching his breath a lot easier than you were. “For future reference though, maybe don’t text on the edge of a cliff.”

You let out a laugh, loud with relief as it dawned on you that you very well could have been killed just now and somehow remained relatively unscathed. “I’ll try to keep that in mind.” You said, bringing your phone up to look at it before you realized it was not in your hand.

“Oh no.” You said, rolling onto your stomach and leaning up to look over the cliff before slapping your hand over your face. “Shit, shit, shit!”

You jumped to your feet and found yourself dizzy. Sam steadied you.

“Take it easy, what’s wrong?” He asked.

“My phone!” You pointed to the cliff. “I was talking to-” You cut yourself off, realizing who you were talking to now, and just shook your head. “Um … I need to get ahold of someone. Do you have a cell phone?”

He shook his head, “Sorry. I’m sure one of your friends does, though. We can walk down and …” His voice trailed off as you thought. Jasper was panicking. You just knew it. If you told him the wolves were here and then didn’t text him back … the longer you waited increased the likelihood that he was on his way here. It left you with one option.

You turned to face Sam. “I need you to drive me to the treaty line.”

Sam didn’t seem all that surprised that you knew what that was, but crossed his arms and looked you over. “Why?”

“You know who my boyfriend is, I know you can smell it on me.” You said. He tilted his head up and watched you. “I was texting him about you being here. If he knows I was with you and then I don’t text back, he’ll try to come get me.”

Sam’s eyebrows shot up. “And start a war?”

“If he thinks I’m in danger.” You said. “You’re the leader, right? Sam Uley?” He watched you, but didn’t say anything. “This doesn’t have to end in a fight. Not if you can get me there in time.”

Sam seemed to look over you, trying to decide if you were telling the truth, before he shook his head. “Get on.”

He took off his shirt and doubled over and before you knew it a black wolf the size of a grizzly bear was standing in front of you. Get on, he’d said.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me.” You mumbled, before struggling onto his back. He let out a small growl which you guessed was wolf for ‘hold on’ and then took off at a run.

You’d been running with Jasper before, and were quite surprised to find that the wolf was just as fast, if not faster. Trees flew by you in a blur of darkness now that the sun had set and before you knew it, you’d reached the treaty line. You rolled off his back and doubled over, hands on knees, stomach churning. Though he was just as fast, Sam was not nearly as graceful. He looked at you warily before something in the woods caught his attention and he crouched into a more defensive position.

“Jasper?” You called out, knowing that’s the only one it could be, but Sam’s head was darting around, his lips curling back over huge canine teeth. There was more than one. “Emmett? Alice? Ed?” You guessed. “I’m fine, no one’s trying to hurt me.”

You glanced at the ground for something, perhaps, that marked where the actual treaty line was, but there was nothing, so you just glanced back at Sam and moved about ten feet forward, hoping that would put you in Cullen territory.

Emmet and Edward appeared just ten feet away, eyes trained on the wolf. Jasper was already in front of you.

“You smell like one of them, are you hurt?” He asked, voice stricken with tension.

“No, I lost my phone and-” You tried but he interrupted you.

“What’s this?” Jasper held up your bruised wrist and ignited a similar pain in your shoulder from where Sam had hauled you back over the cliff. You sucked air through your teeth and jerked your hand away from him instinctively.

What happened next happened very quickly. Edward, reading Jasper’s thoughts, said something along the lines of ‘grab him’ and before you knew it Emmet and Jasper were struggling behind you, Jasper trying to get to Sam, Emmett pouring all of his strength into keeping Jasper behind the treaty line. Sam was crouched and snarling, not attacking first but ready should Jasper get to him. Edward realized that Emmett may not be enough to hold him and grabbed Jasper’s other shoulder as Jasper kicked and snarled, as if all he wanted was to cross the treaty line. Before you really knew what you were doing, you were standing in front of Jasper.

“Y/N he’s not in control right now, you need to move.” Edward said seriously. He was not as strong as Emmett and his grip on Jasper’s arm kept slipping. You didn’t listen.

“Jasper look at me. Not him, me.” You said evenly. He didn’t listen until your hand touched his face. When he looked at you, you could tell it was not entirely Jasper staring back at you. Not your Jasper, anyway. “He didn’t hurt me, okay? You have to believe me, he didn’t. I lost my phone. He brought me here because I knew you’d be looking for me.” You said, your nails scratching in the hairs at the base of his neck.

He was still struggling but it seemed as if he was struggling away from you now, afraid he’d hurt you when he was not in control.

“Look at me.” You said again, forcing him to focus only on you.

“It’s working.” Edward said, looking at you. “Keep going.”

You looked back to Jasper and smiled. “Baby I’m fine. No one hurt me.” You said, your hands on either side of his face. “Listen, I’ll explain everything. But I need you to calm down.”

Jasper glanced back at Sam, and you did too.

“Thank you, Sam. For everything. You can go.” You said. Sam watched you for a second before he seemed to decide to trust you, and turned, loping off into the woods.

“He didn’t hurt you?” Jasper asked, his voice still laced with fury, but it was clear he was back in control.

“You can let him go.” You said to Emmett and Jasper, taking a breath.

“He saved her life.” Edward said, having apparently read Sam’s thoughts, “Apparently you were the one who almost killed her.” His voice was thick with amusement.

Jasper’s eyes widened and he straightened up. “What?” He asked.

You laughed in spite of yourself. “I may have been arguing with you and walked off a cliff.”

Jasper just watched you. “What.”

You broke into a fit of giggles and put your uninjured arm around him. “Let’s just go home. I have to go buy a new cellphone tomorrow.”

“My girlfriend’s an idiot.” Jasper put his arm around you, clearly pissed but amused as well.

“You love her.” You said smugly. His arm tightened around your waist.
