“Prophetic” Projection Prayers Versus Third Heaven Thoughts
by David Michael Wylie
Call me crazy? I’ve learned that I need to “throw off” and deflect people’s projections. In psychology projection is defined by Encyclopedia Britannica as a form of defense in which unwanted feelings are displaced onto another person, where they then appear as a threat from the external world. A common form of projection occurs when an individual, threatened by his own angry feelings, accuses another of harbouring hostile thoughts.” I think what I experience sometimes are the projections of others. Somehow, for me at least, this comes with my prophetic gift. Never the less I have learned that it can be tiring to give these feelings any thought. There are still times in which I have felt overwhelmed when sensing projections from others. What I have come to realize is that I have the option to partner or not partner with these thoughts. If I partner with these thoughts I get overwhelmed too often. But if I ignore them I feel as though I am tuning out something prophetically and perhaps turning off the discernment of spirits gift. I’ve often had to remind myself that discernment of spirits is a gift because this gift an be overwhelming and tire me and burn me out. However I have come to realize that I should not block these thoughts out but rather not partner with the negative ones. Many people don’t realize that their thoughts and their emotions actually change the atmosphere around them. Many people don’t realize that their prayers can effect it even stronger and as they pray for something that they themselves have either projected onto others or even worse onto God they are effecting the atmosphere. If you have made some judgment against someone and your prayers are based in this or that type of lie you have probably prayed the wrong type of prayer however good you thought your intentions were. So as I have been through tough times or someone else has projected some lie they thought I was believing I felt as if I was actually having to contend with that lie myself the more they prayed or believed a lie about me perhaps. Hope this is making sense to whoever is reading this.
Anyway here is the most important part of this. If you are projecting onto others what you think they are believing, remember that this effects them somehow. Although in my empathy for people and their “prophetic” projection prayers I have come to realize that I do not have to partner with their projections and neither do you. In fact that would be thinking in the the first and second heaven and praying and projecting and prophesying from lower level thinking. Can we please just have God’s thinking. Thats what I’m thinking. Gosh I hope I am not projecting lower level thinking onto anyone else. Jesus helps us. Blessings from the throne room to you.
