So. We all know Joseph is the postdad for Dream Daddy. He’s put dead in the middle, he has the most info going around, and his entire story was advertised as major, even before the game’s release. So, it’d make sense that, if you choose to have Dream Daddy have a desktop icon upon installation, his face or the Dream Daddy logo would be the icon, right?
It may not explicitly state that Robert is indeed the dad that you hook up with at the end of Cult End. But it does give the hint that Robert is far more important than people thought at first.
Type A (the best) - i love my daughter and i love my bf and i love this game for representing people like me in a healthy, happy way
Type B (the worst) - Dre*m D*ddy is homophobic look at this excerpt that isnt even in the game and some 3 year old problematic gamegrumps quotes for my reasoning also my friends friends friend played the game and said it was bad
Type C (just assholes) - lmao at those dumb idiots who find enjoyment in a video game that they identify with and that makes them happy lmao go outside
So last night some of you saw the discourse about the actual height of Josh Dun. My conclusion is that he’s around 5'8". BUT the odd thing is I’m really good at guessing peoples height when they hug me.
So last night when I go to sleep, guess what I frickin dream of? JOSH. He literally came to my house just to hang out and hug me cause he knew I was having issues lately? Idk how. But anyway, I made him laugh really hard and he gave my this huge hug. Mind you I’m 5'4", my head landed directly on his heart. So yeah my guess is he’s 5'8"? 5'9"? But all this is just based off a damn dream I had last night.
BUT CHRIST GUYS HIS SMILE. GUYS HIS EYES DID THE CRINKLE THING IN MY DREAM. AND HIS LAUGH, CHRIST, HIS LAUGH SOUNDED LIKE MUSIC. THE BEST THING I’VE EVER HEARD AND I ALMOST CRIED WHEN I WOKE UP BECAUSE I DON’T WANT TO FORGET THIS DREAM. BUT I JUST WANT TO HUG THE ALIEN.
okay romance aside, ddadds does such a good job portraying fatherhood and having healthy relationships with your child. the way the MC unconditionally loves Amanda is just really well done. he respects her space but still lets her know he’s there for her should she need anything. at the same time she’s there for him too. their banter towards one another is always in good fun and doesn’t ever go too far. he’s not overprotective and he trusts her. he let’s her do her own thing. sometimes he does get scared and sometimes he accidentally steps on her toes; but he explains why and apologizes, respectively. which is healthy!! normal, even. the MC is unfalteringly supportive of Amanda’s dreams of becoming a photographer. it’s genuine love a father has for his child, and it’s incredibly beautiful to see
