goddess of knowledge

❤  Because we have today, “International Women’s Day” - I wanted to wish all the Sisters in the world the blessings of virtues, graces and the opportunities which give us the Bright Lady (divine Female Principle):   ❤

“When the first chakra is disconnected from the feminine Earth, we can feel orphaned and motherless. The masculine principle predominates, and we look for security from material things. Individuality prevails over relationship, and selfish drives triumph over family, social and global responsibility. The more separated we become from the Earth, the more hostile we become to the feminine. We disown our passion, our creativity, and our sexuality. Eventually the Earth itself becomes a baneful place. I remember being told by a medicine woman in the Amazon, ‘Do you know why they are really cutting down the rain forest? Because it is wet and dark and tangled and feminine.”

God Domains

The thought of Vox Machina reaching the point of being gods, or even just demi-gods after all is said and done about their adventures have completed fascinates me. So here are some of my thoughts about what they would reside over.

Vex'ahlia: demi-goddess whose domain is hunters, the poor, and bears.

Vax'ildan: Demi-god of death, love, and fate.

Keyleth: Demi-goddess of nature, knowledge and leadership.

Percy: Demi-god of invention, knowledge, redemption to the lost.

Grog: Demi-god of battle, family, kindness, strength.

Scanlan: Demi-god of tricksters, children, music, love, secrets.

Pike: Demi-god of redemption, chosen of the goddess. Second chances, battle, healing, family, kindness and love.

I don’t know all that much about what domains actually exist besides what I could look up on the wiki pages for them, but these seem like a good fit, in some ways, for them.

This isn’t the best, but its what I’m going with until I figure out better ones that fit.

God told Adam and Eve, that eating the fruit would kill them.

The snake said if they ate the fruit,
That it really wouldn’t.

So then they ate the fruit,
and they surely lived that day.

So why believe a liar,
When I put my trust with the snake.

Stay wicked.

Seshat was the Ancient Egyptian goddess of wisdom, knowledge, and writing. She was seen as a scribeand record keeper, and her name means “she who scrivens” and is credited with inventing writing. She also became identified as the goddess of architecture, astronomy, astrology, building, mathematics, and surveying. These are all professions that relied upon expertise in her skills. Usually, she is shown holding a palm stem, bearing notches to denote the recording of the passage of time, especially for keeping track of the allotment of time for the life of the pharaoh. She was also depicted holding other tools and, often, holding the knotted cords that were stretched to survey land and structures. As the divine measurer and scribe, Seshat was believed to appear to assist the pharaoh in both of these practices. It was she who recorded, by notching her palm, the time allotted to the pharaoh for his stay on earth.

Sarasvati, Modern Tibetan

Saraswati (Sanskrit: सरस्वती, Sarasvatī) is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. She is a part of the trinity (Tridevi) of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All the three forms help the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to create, maintain and regenerate-recycle the Universe respectively.
divine search!

Follows will be from @/gurogacha !
'Saa-ra-da'. Full-stop.

I know it’s cute and amusing when the fandom calls Sasuke and Sakura’s daughter as ‘Salad’ every now and then. But seriously. Are the anti’s going to use her name to prove that the 'Hard-working and amazing creator’ of the Naruto series went lazy with the last chapter and didn’t think it through?!

Firstly, Her name is ‘Sarada’ It’s the other name for the Hindu deity Saraswathi. Goddess of education and knowledge. Hindu version of Lady Athena.

Saraswati (Sanskrit: सरस्वती, Sarasvatī ,Malayalam: സരസ്വതി,Saraswathy ,Tamil: சரஸ்வதி, Sarasvatī ) is the Hindu goddess of knowledge, music, arts, wisdom and learning. She is a part of the trinity of Saraswati, Lakshmi and Parvati. All the three forms help the trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva to create, maintain and regenerate-recycle the Universe respectively

Saraswati, sometimes spelled Sarasvati, is a Sanskrit fusion word of Sara (सार )

Secondly, You think the great and unbelievably proud Sasuke would name his daughter after a dish? Like seriously? -_- And how is naming his daughter after a widely worshipped goddess wrong?

her name is pronounce ‘Saa-ra-da’.

'Saa-ske’, 'Saa-ku-ra’ and 'Saa-ra-da’. Kishi does think everything through. He isn’t dumb

I put this information in another post that I reblogged. I just had to put it up as a separate post.

a phoenix in the water ; “she had loved the idea of spreading truth like a fire, touching a lit candle to another candle and watching its flame come to life, until the whole world was bright and you saw everything clear.”

everybody’s doing it so why the hell should i // she’s got her ear to the walls and she’s tappin’ the calls, if you’ve got a secret, boy, forget about it // creatures seem to scream and faint, shadows blink and the laws will break // we know for sure they’re telling lies when they say no one gets hurt and therefore nobody dies // in the city where i grew up the kids are dying now // mama who gave me no way to handle things // i think i made you up inside my head // when i awoke the moon still hung, the night so black that the darkness hummed // you have a mind to keep me quiet and although you can try, better men have hit their knees and bigger men have died // despite all the fools and liars, despite all of the wars, the pursuit of liberty is still a noble cause // let your words be anything but empty, why don’t you tell them the truth? // as the cold rushes over me i wonder what is real // with every small disaster i’ll let the waters still // i’m the hero of the story, don’t need to be saved
