god is always present

God’s omnipresence and the manifestation of his presence are two different things. One is a fact; the other is often a feeling. God is always present, even when you are unaware of him, and his presence is too profound to be measured by mere emotion. Yes, he wants you to sense his presence, but he’s more concerned that you trust him than you feel him. Faith, not feelings, pleases God.

Sometimes you need sleep but instead you curl up in a ball and eat fish crackers and make random movie quotes all alone at your computer…

Little things

The logic of putting God at the center of everything seems very hard to apply in many everyday cases. We caged the power and care of God in big things like; examinations, thesis defense, business proposals, long trips or flying abroad, marriage, storms and battles in the families, famine, war, government disputes, calamities and other life and death situations. It is true that in the hardest part of our life, we felt that God is more present but that do not nullify the fact that God is always present, in big and small events of our life. God wants us to use the covering of His blood even in a single step that we will take every morning. There’s this thing that I said to one of my cell members as she’ll cross the street, I always said to her, “Pray before crossing the street.” She always laugh upon hearing that because I’m overacting but the truth is, it’s true. What is the difference of praying while simply crossing the street and crossing a street during a war? The situation is different but the need of God is the same. There is no required degree of catastrophe for us to apply the power of God. If you’re confuse because of a friend or a crush, apply the power of God. Same thing as when you’re confuse whether to stay or find a new job. If you’re parents are on the cliff of separation, apply Acts 16:31 and the power of God for families. Declare what Joshua has said, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” everyday, with or without problems. People find it so funny when in simple situations, I apply the word of God, but that is serious for me. In every situation, without any kind of measurement or standards, apply the power of God. In every decision, whether by deciding to take a bath or not, or saying yes to a marriage proposal, lean to what the Lord is saying.

It is only in our minds that we segregate small things and big things, God actually don’t care on those measurements. He cares for us and that include everything in us. He will heal a small wound in our finger or a stage four cancer. He will provide for our everyday fare and our business capital. He will send water in our faucet and send rain to our land.

He is God, He is Lord of ALL.

God always ignores your present level of completeness in favor of your ultimate future completeness. He is not concerned about making you blessed and happy right now, but He’s continually working out His ultimate perfection for you— ‘…that they may be one just as We are one' (John 17:22).
—  Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest: April 27

“God is everywhere. There is no place God is not…You cry out to Him, ‘Where art Thou, my God?’ And He answers, ‘I am present, my child! I am always beside you.’ Both inside and outside, above and below, wherever you turn, everything shouts, ‘God!’ In Him we live and move. We breathe God, we eat God, we clothe ourselves with God. Everything praises and blesses God. All of creation shouts His praise. Everything animate and inanimate speaks wondrously and glorifies the Creator. Let every breath praise the Lord!”

“For the power of God is always present, in contact with us…God is not in darkness or in place, but above both space and time, and qualities of objects. Wherefore neither is He at any time in a part, either as containing or as contained, either by limitation or by section. For what house will you build to Me? says the Lord. Nay, He has not even built one for Himself, since He cannot be contained. And though heaven be called His throne, not even thus is He contained, but He rests delighted in the creation.” - St Clement of Alexandria

Be free.

There is a God,

Who made you,

Who wants you to be free.

His Word even says it.

“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free”.

Ask him to help you be free,

From your past regrets,

Your present sins,

Your future worries.

God is always wanting to set you free.
