go into nature

My wonderful Custom Protagonist candles from the lovely @silvannaturals are HERE!! I absolutely love them! The smells perfectly capture the essence of the characters they’re based on. Had to pose them by the wip world map I’m making for my novel, because they make me feel a part of it! I even got to pick out the candle and glitter colors! You won’t catch me writing another chapter without one of these gals lit and shimmering in the background! Thank you so much, Lisa!

“Bee Enlightened”
Nov. 20, 2017

This is a tattoo sketch I did for myself today. It represents my love and fascination for sacred geometry, and natural occurring geometry. It helps me remember that life just happens naturally how it will, and once everything falls into place, you will find balance, peace, and beauty in a life that has been previously incomplete, or unbalanced. (Unsymetrical) This also represents the importance of bees, and reminds me that every single life is sacred and plays a part in the infinite cycle of the universe. 🌻🌎💖

❝ i was looking for wally err, the flash. ❞ the importance of a secret identity was still elusive to the new green arrow. he understood why people kept them, but remembering that when interacting with others was something else entirely. ❝ you wouldn’t have happened to see him lately, have you? ❞

My experiences setting up a Pathfinder game for my weekend group

  • This one nice Futch girl who’s Pan: makes a lesbian naga druid with a cool pet dog
  • Gay dude who’s got that loud and sad aesthetic: Plant person who eats meat whole photosynthesizing
  • Two straight people: make chaotic neutral assassins with no personality and are so needlessly edgy that it makes me, Rose Lalonde, cringe.
  • This one straight dude who I thought was going to be more creative: Oh, nice, Merman detective archeologist who runs a museum AND HAS AN ASSASSIN DAD THAT HE IS ON BAD TERMS WITH

Can someone please tell me why straight people be like that

Steve trips and falls on his face in front of the Avengers. Someone will help pick him up, though, right?

“He’s beauty, he’s grace, he’s fallen on his face.”  Tony smiled.

“I thought he was Mr. United States?”  Clint added.

Steve could hear Sam and Natasha giggling somewhere behind him. He didn’t want to turn over and see them gloating.  He hadn’t hurt anything more than his pride.  In front of a large crowd.  And cameras there for a public appearance while all the Avengers were in their gear.

He’d tripped on the edge of Thor’s cape.  Or maybe it was the end of Clint’s bow.  Or the toe of Tony’s suit.  He didn’t know.

Thor’s hand came into view and Steve grasped it.  Thor hauled him to his feet.  And then over his head.

“To lift such a National Treasure, I must truly be worthy!”  He managed before cracking himself up laughing.

“Oh my god, Thor’s been listening to me.”  Tony’s delight was at odds with the stoic face plate of his suit.

“This is the best day ever.”  Sam was beaming.  Cameras were flashing.  It was only a moment or two more, and then Steve was laughing, too.

It really hit me this morning that we really our about to share our Darren with the world. I was looking at my pics from the stage door in San Fran and in some ways it seems so unreal that that guy is about to become so much more well known and respected.  And the world is about to discover what we’ve known forever.

So much I would want to say to someone who stumbled upon my blog. About the talent. About the intelligence. About what a wonderful and personable guy he is.  About how he treats every person he meets with genuine respect and makes the person feel welcome for the few second/minutes they have in his presence.  That Darren truly is a person worthy of respect and admiration.

“We need the tonic of wildness – to wade sometimes in marshes where the bittern and the meadow-hen lurk, and hear the booming of the snipe; to smell the whispering sedge where only some wilder and more solitary fowl builds her nest, and the mink crawls with its belly close to the ground. At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be infinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature. We must be refreshed by the sight of inexhaustible vigor, vast and titanic features, the sea-coast with its wrecks, the wilderness with its living and its decaying trees, the thunder-cloud, and the rain which lasts three weeks and produces freshets. We need to witness our own limits transgressed, and some life pasturing freely where we never wander.” - Henry David Thoreau.
