go into nature

anonymous asked:

I've been so stressed out lately. I have been working on stress relievers but I can't shake my two problems. Any methods you use?

Some of the methods I use to reduce stress are listening to music, writing, going on a nature walk, hanging out with a friend, etc. Being stressed out happens to all of us. You could always try talking about your problems to a close friend/ family member. If have trouble finding someone to talk to, I’m always willing to listen.

Hi I’m April, 17 and I live in California!!!!! I love nature, going on adventures, drawing, meditating, and just being alive 😊 I would love to talk KIK: AprilTilmant

“I know you’ve been burned. But every fire is a lesson learned.”

Biography

Most people become hunters either because they were born to a hunter family or because a supernatural caused them some kind of damage. For Shane Lionel, it was the last. He was twelve years old when his family decided to go and enjoy the nature by camping at the hills of Montana. It was an idyllic family holiday with tents and marshmallows and scary stories of the dark woods. Nor his parents, nor his older brother were aware of the existence of supernatural until their throat have been ripped out by the venomous monsters attacking them. Shane had to watch as his family was slaughtered from behind a tree he had hidden..

He can’t remember how he found his way off the mountains, to the house of the forester or even telling him about the corpses of his family. His next memory is spending his days in a orphanage a year later, still incapable of processing what happened in the forest. There was no rational explanation of what he had seen and he did not dare to talk about the creatures to anyone. Shane knew they would think he was crazy, but he knew what he saw. They were people, with eyes bright as the sun, painfully beautiful and murderous. Vampires. When he left the orphanage, Shane did everything to find out more about the creatures and it took him years until he grasped some real knowledge.

Shane hates all supernatural, not matter it were only the vampires that harmed him. He wants them all dead and he will not stop until he destroys as many of them as possible. He has nothing to loose, which means he often tries to hunt down impossible cases. Even though he was never trained by anyone, Shane is surprisingly good at what he is doing, mostly because his own death does not scare him in the slightest. If he has to die in a battle, let it be, but he will take down the monster with himself too.

He came to the small town of Rolling Hills because he heard rumors about it being greatly involved with supernaturals and he could not ignore an opportunity like that. He plans to get rid of as many monsters as possible before he leaves to look further for the murderers of his family.

Personality

+ fearless + dynamic + flexible

- harsh - grumpy - sarcastic

Connections

Calliope Bloom - The woman seems oddly familiar to him, but he just can’t put a finger on where he can know her from. She did not do anything suspicious just yet, but he will definitely keep an eye on her.

Isis Baxter - Knows that the girl is a huntress and wouldn’t mind seeing her in action, neither if they shared some of their tricks with each other. She is gorgeous and dangerous and it makes her almost irresistible in his eyes.

Elijah Watson - Makes him question his choice to be a lone hunter. The other man seems quite good at what he is doing and what he heard of the Watson family, maybe they could help him track down the monsters that killed his family.

Merry Go Round by Peter James Nature Photography

I found myself perched above the lower salt river a few evenings ago in hopes to catch a dramatic sunset. I went to this spot that I had never shot from or really noticed despite having parked so close to it so many times. I am a sucker for river bends, so after a little bit of research and scouting (more like looking over the edge of a small cliff) I noticed the potential. There was still about two hours until sunset, so I sat on the rocks and listened to the rapids below. It was quiet, something that is typically unheard of this time of year here. It struck me as odd to say the least, but I enjoyed it while it lasted. Just as the clouds began to roll in I could hear the echoes of laughter and screaming. I knew what was coming. On the other side of the bend I noticed a bright red dot, then a yellow, then a blue, then some more red. My quiet time was over, and I watched as over 50 people floated by over the course of the next hour. The clouds behind me started breaking, and the peaks started to catch that beautiful golden color that I was hoping. The skies looking dramatic in front of me, everything was setting up perfectly. Except, I had to wait FOREVER for these people to float by. Just when I think I have the time to take the shots, more people float by. A few larger groups tied together became stuck amid the rapids. All they could do was laugh at themselves as they struggled to break free from the large rock beneath them. I stood there and watched in amusement as this happened to more than a few groups. The light breaking through brighter and brighter now with the clouds looking as dramatic as I could recall at this location, I had to take my shot. I couldn’t hear anyone, I didn’t see any bright colors floating in the distance, this was it. I shot a series of six vertical images spanning the river bend and distant peaks. Once I got the shot, I began to hear another round of tubers making their way. It was quite entertaining to say the least. Some kayakers made it around too and I just sat back down and relaxed for a few moments enjoying the show. The sky never exploded with colors, but these clouds eventually turned into a decent storm later on in the evening.

Hi for the send messages thing! Tell me more about you :)

Uhm… I used to know 2 languages before I moved to America. Ancient and Modern Chamorro. Modern has a lot of Spanish[Spain] Influence, and Ancient was a language all its own. I forgot how to speak both once I learned English.
I love to Rp and Write, but I do so with friends because I’m less afraid of them.
I have this weird phobia of people knowing me and me not knowing them… It’s a process I’m working through. ^w^
I love rain, wind, lightning, earthquakes, and monsoons. Something about Watching nature go hogwild is strangely invigorating!
I’m superstitious, but I still like watching spoopy movies… even though I’ll be paranoid afterwards for no reason at all.
I loooooove food.
I’m named after a mermaid, but I like ships.
I hate asparagus. :C I love food, but I can’t budge on asparagus.
I prefer walking to biking. Bikes hurt everything, and I’m not coordinated on uneven surfaces… the world basically. xD
I like reading to people.
I’ve been kicked in the head by a deer.
I got my first concussion on a fair ride.
Dogs and Horses are my favorite bbys.
I love getting rid of stuff. Which is why I’ve been so busy since I got back home, I’ve been working and trying to get rid of things at the same time. e^e I want to art! WHY DON’T DAYS HAVE MORE TIME!
I like being useful, so sitting around and doing nothing sometimes makes me irritable and grouchy. OwO
I love learning and meeting new people o 3o So long as those new people are nice. e 3e Then I like scaring the mean people.

So, you believe that taylor's relationship with Calvin is real? Because they are like Monchele, only that Taylor and calvin are more famous!

No, i just believe they are hot. We are not really their fans, so we don’t go in depth about the nature of their relationship. My companion doesn’t care

The companion just wants to add: For the little I know about Calvin he never had a problem in using his relationship for PR, same for Taylor. So it’s not really a surprise, but in the end of the day I don’t care, and don’t think he is hot.

11- MY IDEAL DAY would be going to Chicago and walking around w/ my friends. I would wanna go to an art museum probably??? Hm. Then go home later n watch movies w/ hella snacks. Either that or driving around all day and going on nature adventures then going to a local show at night. Both of those sound nice

29- three songs that I connect with right now would be Put Your Records On by Corinne Bailey Rae, Dogs by Nouns, and Cough It Out By tfb ((((lame but what I just went through makes me feel connected to it bc of lyrics “you never know what you’ve been through til you pause and cough it out” “whatever I did for you last year I cannot do again” “with or w/o your support I will continue”))))
Ya

30- I’m not usually a quote kind of person but I saw one recently that I liked and it goes “so far you have survived 100% of your worst days” or something like that

* Wow. You are just so beautiful in everything that you do. The love you give out to people, caring for others, the way you take good care of Zayn…you’re someone I look up to for so many things.

* You’re such a beautiful and natural mother. I only got to watch you with him for a short time before I had to go, but it came so naturally to you and you’re so caring towards him. I can literally see in your eyes and your actions how much he stole your heart and I don’t know how else to describe it besides, it’s just beautiful. That defines beauty.

* You are quite possibly the most underrated person I know for the talent that you have. You could sing the alphabet and I would swoon. Seriously. So beautiful and flawless.

More than three but you’ve also helped me a lot with the backlash from fans we all get just for dating someone in the band. You’ve put up with it for a long time and you know i’m new to it and you’e been very helpful. So thank you. It means a lot.

It’s the 7th day of the month and my family has already used 50% of our data. I need that data for when I’m out of the state for 10 days!!!!

How did we manage to survive last month (when I was out of the state every weekend) without using even 50% of our data, but within 7 days of me staying at home, we are halfway up this month?!

(I know: my dad was fucking around with the electrical breaker switches yesterday and basically turned off all the power to the house when he was trying to fix the fan outdoors. Wi-fi was down all fucking day and none of us realized it.)

My mom is going to be so pissed when she comes home. And she’s going to blame me, naturally.

ugh
