Byron Roman, a native of Los Angeles, began his dance training with Eartha Robinson, Karen McDonald, and Latrece Douglas. He continued his training in New York City with Milton Myers - noted faculty member at The Juilliard School as well as resident choreographer for Philadanco. Mr. Roman has worked alongside him as his demonstrator both here in the US and internationally. Byron has attended The Ailey School and Jacob’s Pillow on scholarship and is a recipient of the The Glorya Kaufman Fellowship Award. He was the first student to attend The LINES Ballet Training Program on a full scholarship. While at LINES he performed in an original work by Alonzo King in Monte Carlo, Monaco at The Tremplin Jeunes Ballets at The Monaco Dance Forum. Byron has performed with Dance Theater of San Francisco, Dawson/Wallace Dance Project, dawsondanceSF, Opus Dance Theater and The Francesca Harper Project. 2015 was Mr. Roman’s first season with Concept Zero.
