President Trump’s sudden firing of FBI Director James Comey is a matter that should deeply concern every American, regardless of party, partisan politics or ideological leanings.

The independence of our law enforcement is at the bedrock of our democracy. That independance, already grievously shaken under the brief tenure of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is now shattered by uncertainty.

The firing of an FBI Director is always a very serious matter in normal times. But these times aren’t normal. Far from it. The Bureau is engaged in one of the most important and perilous investigations of this or any other presidency—the investigation of connections between the Trump election campaign and the Russian government.

The questions mount and the shadow grows darker. What were those connections? What did Mr. Trump know about them and when did he know it? How can the President explain the serious allegations against his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn? And what is President Trump hiding in this regard? It’s imperative that the nation—We The People—get answers to those questions. It will take time, but the process must start now.

A politicized FBI is the last thing we need as we struggle through the maze of lies, concealment and ever-deepening mysteries. The last time a President fired prosecutors who were investigating him was Richard Nixon during the widespread criminal conspiracy known for short as “Watergate.” We all know how that turned out. In real ways, this potential scandal and coverup are much graver. We are talking about the very security of the United States and the sanctity of our republic.

Thomas Paine famously wrote in 1776: “These are the times that try men’s souls. I see this as having the potential for a similar reflection point in our American story. If there is a cover up, if our nation is at the risk that has certainly been more than suggested, it is incumbent upon everyone who claims to love this nation to demand answers.

We need a special prosecutor. We need an independent investigation. There is, obviously, much we don’t know about what has just happened, why it happened and why now. Just as obviously there is much more, so much more that we need know. We need to damn the lies and expose the truth.

A/N: Based the ideas in this off of another fanfic I’ve been writing for quite some time so I’m claiming rights to Emilia Reeves and Smoke. ALSO I looked up the meaning behind how the Winter Soldier got his name and it’s making the English major and the analytic in me spazz with joy.


(Y/N) stood nervously beside her husband as the pair prepared for a panel discussion at Wizard World. Sebastian could feel her hand tremble slightly in his as he rubbed the back of it with his other hand.

“Are you ready babe?” he asked.

“I’ll never be ready,” she replied with a soft chuckle.

“Don’t worry,” Sebastian said and then kissed her cheek. “I’ll be right there with you.” From in the distance, the surround sound speakers roared: please give it up for Sebastian Stan and (Y/N) (Y/L/N)! The crowd cheered and the thundering of voices rattled her ear drums. Slowly, (Y/N) followed Sebastian to the two chairs sitting in the center of the stage and hoisted herself into it as Sebastian smiled at her, proud of (Y/N) for agreeing to come speak with him.

“Okay Sebastian,” the panel mediator began, “one thing that a lot of people really want to know is who is this lovely lady beside you today and how did she get mixed up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe?” Sebastian’s bright blue eyes shined toward his wife as the pair clutched to their secret.

“Do you want to take this one, (Y/N)?” Sebastian asked her.

“Sure,” she smiled. “Somehow one of the producers or writers at Marvel liked an idea I had sent in as a suggestion and asked me to come in and explain it. The concept of my character, Emilia Reeves, is that she was recruited by Coulson to become an agent of SHIELD after he realized all that she had gone through. A lot of what Emilia goes through is a reflection of Bucky’s trials. She’s taken in by HYDRA, experimented on, and forced into Terragenesis where she emerged as Smoke–the super badass name she goes by while working with the Avengers.”

“She’s a real breath of fresh air for Bucky to see that someone can still have a life after the torture and manipulation that HYDRA put them through,” Sebastian continued.

“(Y/N) you said you sent in a suggestion for the character, am I right?”

“Oh yeah, I Andy Dufresne-d the shit out of Marvel!” she called into the microphone. Immediately, Sebastian covered his and let out a loud laugh along with the roaring audience. “Oh fuck, can I not say,” immediately she covered her mouth as Sebastian’s face turned a bright shade of red. “Shit, no damn it! Gah!”

“Needless to say she and Chris contribute to the swear jar most,” Sebastian laughed into his microphone. Soon the audience died down and settled back into their seats. “But on a more real level, (Y/N) has done incredible work in creating this character and she really brings Smoke to life. It’s important to know just how hard (Y/N) worked to build Emilia and Smoke and the story behind the character as well. She’s been more dedicated to her character than any of us have been to ours.”

“What was the process like, filming with all of these seasoned veterans?” the question turned back onto (Y/N) as she folded her hands in her lap and tried not to swear again.

“It was great! Everyone was so supportive–even if someone was like ‘where the hell did this character come from?’ they were always willing to work with me to get the chemistry right and all,” she responded as she began to gain her confidence.

“Were some people more helpful than others?” she was again asked.

“Honestly, Sebastian is one of the most incredible people I’ve ever come across. He’s so sweet and, knowing I was relatively new to the acting scene, he was determined to break me out of my shell.”

“She gives me a lot of credit but she’s incredibly talented as a stand alone,” Sebastian quickly added as the panel continued. 

“So, Sebastian, can we expect any changes in Bucky that can be derived from Emilia?” Sebastian glanced over at his wife as she smiled and nodded toward him to answer the question.

“Um, yeah, Bucky really grows through his interaction with Emilia. She really understands what it feels like to be taken and turned into something she never wanted to become–for her an Inhuman, for Bucky an assassin–and that bond is really something that he uses to strengthen his own will to fight all HYDRA put in him,” Sebastian said with a smile spreading across his face. (Y/N) knew he wouldn’t be able to hold onto their secret for much longer so she hurried to extend on his answer.

“There’s a lot of healing for Bucky that happens through getting to know Emilia, but they also grow together. Bucky is having to determine who he is in the world apart from HYDRA apart from pre-world war two, and Emilia is still trying to get a handle on how she fits into the Avengers jigsaw puzzle.”

“Eventually, they both kind of figure out that the scars they have on their souls match and they fall into their positions in the Avengers jigsaw puzzle, as (Y/N) said,” Sebastian continued.

“You two have been reported as dating for about three months a few years ago when (Y/N) worked on another project with you, Sebastian. Everyone here can see that you have such a nice chemistry and stage appearance together,” the mediator commented as he moved the pair onto the next question, “so what I’m wondering is if that chemistry plays off well in the ‘rumored’ steamy scene between the two of you?” Immediately the two started laughing. “How did that come about? Was it in the script or what? Did it cause any tension between you two after having been broken up?”

“Well, if you’re asking me, it wasn’t scripted but I was really happy to do it,” Sebastian laughed as a smile flooded his face and his eyes danced toward (Y/N).

“I don’t know why people always assume we broke up,” (Y/N) started to laugh alongside Sebastian as he placed a hand on her knee.

“Do you want to tell them or should I?” Sebastian asked with a wink. (Y/N) shrugged and Sebastian continued speaking. “(Y/N) and I are both pretty private people and pretty introverted so it makes sense that there aren’t many up-to-date photos of the two of us together out of costume.”

“But we never broke up,” (Y/N) continued. “In fact, the kiss between Emilia and Bucky was not planned whatsoever. Seb was filming with Chris and Anthony and I was supposed to be wrapped for the day. When I got back to my trailer, there was a small letter folded on my couch.”

“I wrote her the quote from Thomas Paine’s The American Crisis, which is where the Winter Soldier got his name, that read ‘These are the times that try men’s souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.’”

“And below that was this long, heartfelt message about the trials our relationship had been through and then, at the very bottom, Sebastian wrote that–”

“You were the most glorious triumph of my life,” he quoted as he stretched out his hand to hers.

“Under the letter was a ring and I took off toward set again and barged into the frame, still in costume, and just jumped into his arms and kissed him.”

“Apparently the cameras kept rolling and I guess they decided to use it somewhere in the film,” Sebastian chuckled as he clasped his wife’s hand in his. “But what you’re really watching isn’t Emilia and Bucky, rather (Y/N) and Sebastian.” After a long amount of cheering, ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs,’ the crowd settled down and the mediator managed to ask another question.

“So when’s the wedding?”

“Five months ago,” Sebastian chuckled as his wife mumbled into her microphone. His eyes were beaming with joy and pride as the usually timid woman in front of him started to laugh as the crowd of fans gasped in betrayal. She wouldn’t have traded a single moment of their private lives for a moment of glamor with the paparazzi. Sebastian was hers and (Y/N) was his and they didn’t see the need to include the rest of the world in their relationship until they wanted the rest of the world to know. In front of everyone, Sebastian leaned over and pressed his lips gently against (Y/N)s and whispered into her ear, “I’ll always be your winter soldier.”

The plans of the wicked may prosper but that doesn’t mean God will let them win.

There are times when evil seems to have smooth sailing while those who do what is right go through stormy seas. They who do evil thinks they are favored while those who honor God thinks they are being punished.  

Absalom thinks he already won for everything worked out according to his plan, He became a King by using his wicked schemes not knowing that there will be a bitter ending to the glorious triumph he thought he received. The “Absalom’s” in our life may think that God will not help us or keep quiet when we are being mistreated, but God in His throne, will see the David within us that cries out for help and will eventually lead us to a place where we can finally declare, “Lord, the victory is yours! You are so good to your people. (Psalm 3:8)”

May we always keep in mind that though it is hard to believe that God is with us when everything seems to be against us, He is with us and will always be. Just keep your heart set to do His will and you’ll eventually see that everything will work out for your good and His glory.

“Black, what the hell did you do?” I whisper to myself.

Frustrated and confused, I rake my bruised fingers through my shoulder length black wavy hair. Leaning back to the headboard of my bed, I close my sored eyes in hopes to find clarity about everything, but everything just comes back to me: all the memories, all moments, all the stolen kisses, all the little talks, all the secret meet ups. Everything just hits me like a tidal wave and washes me off to shore, leaving me for dead. My pounding head only makes it worse.

Out of all the girls I have fooled around with, why did it have to be Y/N? Where did I get the idea that it would be a good thing to fool around with her? I mean it is not that it was bad. It was great. Better than the previous ones, not that I am comparing. I mean why?

A month and a half ago, we were walking around the castle with James, Remus and Peter. We just can not fall asleep so we decided to lurk in the shadows. We split up for some reason and I was with Y/N that night. We where near the Hufflepuff dorm area when we heard footsteps coming from our left. In panic, we looked around for a place to hide and found a secret room. In the said room, it had windows by the wall that allowed moonlight to shine through it causing a bluish hue glow to illuminate the room. The room had a few chairs, a couch, some lamps, and a table. It was all set up to some what looked like a small living room. The room did not look like it was used for a long time. The door we went through it was not even an ordinary door. It disappears. We did not even know this room existed before. Whenever we walk around that hallway, it would only have a broom closet and nothing else. It just seemed that at that time, the door appeared in front of us when we needed to get away. Y/N thought that our fear of getting caught triggered the door to appear.

“Merlin’s beard! That was close.” Y/N said with a grin

“It was.” I laughed. My body was filled with adrenaline. I was in euphoric high that I can feel the energy and excitement in my bones. I sat down on the couch and Y/N sat beside me.

“This would be a good hiding spot. We should tell James.” Y/N suggested as she looked around the place.

“I agree to that. It is an excellent place to hang out.” I agreed.

“Yeah.” Y/N said and her eyes landed on me.

I do not know how long it was but it felt forever when we looked each other in the eyes.

With euphoria running through veins, the buzz feeling that is unexplainable, and that glow that illuminated Y/N’s face in such a different good way, somehow made me lean forward and kiss her lips. Her lips where soft and warm that caused my whole body to relax from running away. But in an instant, it dawned to me that I kissed her, Y/N, my close friend. I pulled away and looked at her. Her expression was full of shock.

“I-I… sorry. I think we should umm-a leave.” I said and stood up and went outside.

She followed behind me and we head back straight to the separate dorms.

Why?

Why did I kiss her that night?

If I hadn’t I wouldn’t have any problems at all.

Why? That kiss led to just one but two-no three- no but a thousand more which led to more than just one intimate moment but to hundreds more. We could not help it. We are just human and the animal instinct inside of us just takes over our whole being. Being with her like this was alright, she was not a terrible person but somewhere in the back of my mind kept telling me to finish whatever is going on between us. I think that nagging feeling was right. Right? I mean it would end either way. Me and Y/N just don’t swing that way. We are just friends needing to feel something else. So, I ended what we had. I ended it. I felt it would be best to end it like the way I would end it straight to the point. When I was about to tell her, I was not able to say it right away.

Something inside me was holding me back but I did not know what it was. I was so tensed up, nervous. It felt as if the whole room was -40°C and the cold pierced right into my bones. But I had to do it, and I did. As soon as I let go of those three words, I bolted out of the room. I could not stand the tension in air. I did not know where it came from but it was there. My chest was so closed after it all. I could not breathe. I knew how but I was not sure. I brushed it off, thinking it was the tension.

Ughhh… My head still hurts. The music from the common room blares through my dorm room walls. I could hear that deep bass and beat playing in the background and wizards continuous cheering. My hand is still sore from that punch I threw earlier. I try to subside the pain by flicking my wrist, shaking the pain off but the pain is still there.

Creak

I look up to see blinding light coming through an open door and see a silhouette of a girl enter the room. She comes in the room holding something I can not quite see.

“I found some bandages. We can finally fix that hand of yours.” The girl softly says and sits beside my bed.

My eyes finally adjust to the darkness of the room and sees Lily tending to my hand.

“Lumos.” She casts a spell and light illuminates her freckled face. She is just quiet, meticulously doing the dressing on my injured hand but she stops.

“Why did you punch James?” she asks. She looks at me straight in the eyes without flinching. I turn my gaze somewhere else only to see James’ quidditch uniform laying on the ground.

“It’s not the right time to ask.” I exhausted. I look back at her hoping she would drop it but she would not budge.

“What do you want to know?” I demanded. “I’m too tired to talk about this.” My headache pounding harder than before. My uninjured fingers instinctively pinch the bridge of my nose.

“What do I want to know?” She raises her voice a little. “What I want to know is why you ran right up to your best friend and knocked the wind right out of him. You sucker punched him as he was sitting down from the other side of room. He didn’t even spoke a word to you and you just punched him out of nowhere. What has gotten into you?”

Lily cups my injured hand and looks at me with those droopy sad worried stern eyes.

“I don’t know, Lily.” Is all I could manage to say.



“Merlin’s beard, James. Oh James wake up!” Y/N shouts to an unconscious James.

“Y/N that’s not going to help.” Peter peers

“Ohh shush Peter, what do you know?” Marlene says as she sits on an arm chair.

“How could this happen? I mean aren’t we suppose to be celebrating the quidditch cup?” Remus questions as he frantically passes back and forth by the windows. “Why did it end this way?” He frustratedly rakes his hair. The music is still playing loudly in the Gryffindor common room and some people are still partying at their own little corner.

“For Godrick’ sake, can everyone go back to their dorms?! And shut the pipe down will you?!” Lily shouts as she leaves the room with bandages.

The music stopped playing and everyone left besides Peter, Remus and Y/N.

Remus sits down, still agitated, on an arm chair. He leans towards the edge with his arms supporting his chin as he shakes his left leg.

“Y/N” Remus calls a distressed Y/N who is sitting on the floor by the couch where James lay. Y/N turns to Remus. “What happened?” Remus asks.

“I-I was just sitting with James talking about his ‘glorious triumph’ in earlier match. We were laughing about how he exaggerated his story telling. And then I saw Sirius stood up from his seat from the corner of the opposite wall and he just charged right at James. I didn’t know what got into him. He was just there. At first I thought he was just going to rough house play with James but not punch him.” she said

Remus who is intently listening to Y/N’s story tells her “I think you should go. We should all take a rest. We’ll worry about this in the morning.”  

……. lol I think this part would obviously confuse people. To clarify, this set in months ahead October; The beginning was told from Sirius’ point of view and was switched to third person; Lastly, in Sirius part, he has flashbacks and returns back to present time. The story does not end here….

“Let me see.”
"I’m fine.”
"Steve?”
Grip on Steve’s shoulder becomes firmer and he reluctantly lifts his head.
Bucky frowns as he inspects a bruise already starting to bloom on Steve’s cheek.
"You just don’t know when to give up, do you?”
"The harder the struggle, the more glorious the triumph. You just always get in my way!”
Bucky’s gaze softens and a fond smile touches his mouth.
"Always.”
He leans in and kisses Steve, carefully avoiding the split in his boyfriend’s lip.

Future generations may mark today as one of the truly dark days in American history, a history that may soon take an even more ominous turn.

President Trump’s sudden firing of FBI Director James Comey is a matter that should deeply concern every American, regardless of party, partisan politics or ideological leanings.

The independence of our law enforcement is at the bedrock of our democracy. That independance, already grievously shaken under the brief tenure of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, is now shattered by uncertainty.

The firing of an FBI Director is always a very serious matter in normal times. But these times aren’t normal. Far from it. The Bureau is engaged in one of the most important and perilous investigations of this or any other presidency—the investigation of connections between the Trump election campaign and the Russian government.

The questions mount and the shadow grows darker. What were those connections? What did Mr. Trump know about them and when did he know it? How can the President explain the serious allegations against his former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn? And what is President Trump hiding in this regard? It’s imperative that the nation—We The People—get answers to those questions. It will take time, but the process must start now.

A politicized FBI is the last thing we need as we struggle through the maze of lies, concealment and ever-deepening mysteries. The last time a President fired prosecutors who were investigating him was Richard Nixon during the widespread criminal conspiracy known for short as “Watergate.” We all know how that turned out. In real ways, this potential scandal and coverup are much graver. We are talking about the very security of the United States and the sanctity of our republic.

Thomas Paine famously wrote in 1776: “These are the times that try men’s souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. ”

I see this as having the potential for a similar reflection point in our American story. If there is a cover up, if our nation is at the risk that has certainly been more than suggested, it is incumbent upon everyone who claims to love this nation to demand answers.

We need a special prosecutor. We need an independent investigation. There is, obviously, much we don’t know about what has just happened, why it happened and why now. Just as obviously there is much more, so much more that we need know. We need to damn the lies and expose the truth.

Mahler - Symphony no.6 in a minor

If the work is presented with the nickname “Tragic”, which you may see on programs or on CDs, it would be an extra layer of irony. Mahler had written this piece during one of the happier summers of his life. He had gotten married to Alma Schindler the year before, and his second daughter was born. And, like his other symphonies, it was written during one of his ‘composing retreats’ in a small cabin in the Austrian countryside. But despite the happy times in the outside world, and the few glorious moments of triumph in this work, the overall mood is pessimistic. Before I continue, I need to address the “Scherzo/Andante” controversy. Yes, this is an actual thing that has torn families apart and brought cities down. [ok that’s obviously a joke, but in seriousness, there are heated debates between musicologists about the order of the inner movements]. Mahler originally wrote the work to have the scherzo come before the andante, but soon after publication he decided it would be better the other way around. He seemed indecisive about the order of the movements, so it is left to performers to decide. Personally? I prefer scherzo/andante, and this awesome performance by Bernard Haitink and the CSO does it in that order. While it’s apparent that Mahler is continuing his nod to Bach by emphasizing counterpoint much more than his early symphonies, he’s also experimenting a bit with percussion. So far, this Mahler symphony has the most extensive use of percussion instruments, both in variety and appearance. Most infamously it uses a hammer. There’s no specifics in the score as to what kind of hammer blow Mahler wants in the last movement, and it’s always humorous to see different orchestras use gargantuan Thor like mallets. The symphony opens up with a growl in the strings, the beginning of an intense military march, full of bells and whistles [plenty of bells], before being contrasted with a soaring “love” melody that is claimed to be Mahler’s representation of Alma in music. The march beats on relentlessly until it cumulates in a very bright polyphonic coda that incorporates aspects of the previous themes over each other. It’s quite a rush, that it feels like a finale in its own right, and it’s a bit of a surprise to realize you still have an hour of music to go! The scherzo is made of variations of some of the melodies heard in the first movement, and while it has a bit of a stormy character, it’s still contrasted with calmer moments, thinner orchestrations, and even some playful rowdiness before the last bar. The andante is a gorgeous work, in my opinion it is much more passionate and beautiful than the popular adagietto of the 5th. In it, he takes a long soothing melody and works it through all kinds of variations, polyphonic diversity, and orchestration. He at one point uses a chorus of cowbells to evoke the countryside, and it cumulates in a passionate climax. The final movement is long and somber, and like the first movement, feels like it’s own symphony within the symphony. If there is a personal subject for the music, either the composer himself or perhaps a more philosophical “hero” that we can relate to, this is that character’s downfall. Despite all of the angst and heroic overcoming that have passed, all things come to an end and this symphony almost literally dies. With the hammer blow of fate, and the somber brass chorals, the music fades off into nothingness. At the premiere, reception was mixed to negative. The public found it too loud, too much, and too long. Caricatures were drawn of the mad conductor shoving as many percussive instruments as he can onto the stage. While the young composers of the Second Viennese School [Schoenberg, Webern, and Berg] fell in love at first hearing, most thought the work was incomprehensible nonsense. I find that ironic, since this was his most conventionally structured symphony to date [no multi-parts, no program, no singing, primarily Italian notations, it follows the traditional symphony structure]. Since then it has been held up as one of Mahler’s symphonic masterpieces for its craftsmanship, though it still hasn’t gotten as much public praise and popularity as his other symphonies. I personally struggled wrapping my head around this piece when I first heard it, but whenever I come across pieces like that, I make sure to give it a few more chances and listens to see if my opinion changes. I’m still weary of the 6th because of its final movement, but I’m getting there.

The final “boss” of Deus Ex: Human Revolution is seriously messed up; in more ways than one, and the final sequences are considered to be a bit of a let down considering the quality of most of the rest of the game.

The music though? An excellent remix of the main themes combining into a sense of glorious triumph, sheer urgency and intense sadness.

TALES OF KRISHNA ~7~krishna & the killer snake !

When the boys got a little older, they spent their days playing with the calves in a nearby field. Their mothers cooked the noon meal and called them from the fields, or they would pack lunches for them. Children were considered the wealth of the family and were protected from abuse. However, rather than the parents protecting Krishna, it was the child who protected the village and all the people in it.

When Lord Krishna was enjoying His childhood pastimes with His boyfriends, one Aghasura demon became very impatient. He was unable to tolerate seeing Krishna playing, so he appeared before the boys intending to kill them all. This Aghasura was so dangerous that even the denizens of heaven were afraid of him. Because ,this Aghasura happened to be the younger brother of Putana and Bakasura ( whom also krishna had deftly killed earlier), and he thought, “Krishna has killed my brother and sister. Now I shall kill Him along with all His friends and calves.”

The demon Aghasura appeared before Krishna and His friends. Aghasura was instigated by Kamsa, so he had come with determination. Aghasura also began to think that when he would offer grains and water in memory of his brother and sister and kill Krishna and all the cowherd boys, then automatically all the inhabitants of Vrindavan would die. Generally, for the householders, the children are the life and breath force. When all the children die, then naturally the parents also die on account of strong affection for them. 

Thus deciding to kill all the inhabitants of Vrindavana, expanded himself by the yogic siddhi called mahima. In the yoga system, by the perfection called mahima-siddhi, one can expand himself as he desires. The demon Aghasura expanded himself up to eight miles and assumed the shape of a very fat serpent. Having attained this wonderful body, he stretched his mouth open just like a mountain cave. Desiring to swallow all the boys at once, including his enemies Krishna and Balarama, he sat on the path. 

The demon in the shape of a big fat serpent expanded his lips from land to sky; his lower lip was touching the ground and his upper lip was touching the clouds. His jaw appeared like a big mountain cave, without limitation, and his teeth appeared just like mountain summits. His tongue appeared to be a broad traffic way, and he was breathing just like a hurricane. The fire of his eyes was blazing. At first the boys thought that the demon was a statue, but after examining it they saw that it was a more like a big serpent lying down on the road and widening his mouth. The boys began to talk among themselves:

“This figure appears to be a great animal, and he is sitting in such a posture just to swallow us all. Just see–is it not a big snake that has widened his mouth to eat all of us?”

One of them said, “Yes, what you say is true. This animal’s upper lip appears to be just like the sunshine, and its lower lip is just like the reflection of red sunshine on the ground. Its mouth appears to be like a big mountain cave. The hot wind that is blowing like a hurricane is his breathing, and the fishy bad smell coming out from his mouth is the smell of his intestines.”

Then they further consulted among themselves: “If we all at one time entered into the mouth of this great serpent, how could it possibly swallow all of us? And even if it were to swallow all of us at once, it will not be able to swallow Krishna. Krishna will immediately kill him, as He did to many of these creatures before.” Talking in this way, all the boys looked at the beautiful lotus like face of Krishna, and they began to clap and smile. And so they marched forward and entered the mouth of the gigantic serpent.

Meanwhile, Krishna, who is the Superme soul within everyone’s heart, could understand that the big statuesque figure was a demon. While He was planning how to stop the destruction of His intimate friends, all the boys along with their cows and calves entered the mouth of the serpent. But Krishna did not enter. The demon was awaiting his entrance, and he was thinking, “Everyone has entered except Krishna- the tyrrant who  killed my brothers and sisters.”

Finally, after acute silence , The great lord  also entered the mouth of the demon. When Krishna entered, all the demigods, who had gathered to see the fun and who were hiding within the clouds, began to express their feelings with the words, “Alas! Alas!” .

At the same time, all the friends of Aghasura, especially Kamsa, who were all accustomed to eating flesh and blood, began to express their jubilation, understanding that Krishna had also entered the mouth of the demon.

While the demon was trying to smash Krishna and His companions, Krishna heard the demigods crying, “Alas, Alas,” and He immediately began to expand Himself within the throat of the demon. Although he had a gigantic body, the demon choked by the expanding of Krishna. His big eyes moved violently, and he quickly suffocated. His life air could not come out from any source, and ultimately it burst out of a hole in the upper part of his skull. Thus his life air passed off. After the demon dropped dead, Krishna, with His transcendental glance alone, brought all the boys and calves back to consciousness and came with them out of the mouth of the demon.

While Krishna was within the mouth of Aghasura, the demon’s spirit soul came out like a dazzling light, illuminating all directions, and waited in the sky. As soon as Krishna with His calves and friends came out of the mouth of the demon, that glittering effulgent light immediately merged into the body of Krishna within the vision of all the demigods.


AND THUS THE GLORIOUS LORD KRISHNA TRIUMPHED THE EVIL SNAKE-DEMON !
