Being a teenager is hard. Having to deal with breakouts on your face is hard, having to juggle homework and chores and studying is hard, dealing with bullies is hard - even more so when you’re gay and only just out of the closet. But for Blaine, all of these are trivial things, minor details that he has to deal with on the side because what’s really hard is being a teenager with secret super powers and knowing that under no circumstances can anyone find out about them. Loosely based on The Incredibles. TW for gay bashing and guns
AU. In a world where being born gay is not as bad as being born with abilities, and where the government regulates those with superpowers, Kurt and Blaine find one another under different circumstances. Together they have to decide on their paths in this world, and decide if those paths will converge or split them apart.
Kurt is almost mugged as he is walking home late one night when he is saved by a dapper young man called Blaine. It’s love at first sight and the pair start dating. What Kurt doesn’t know is that he’s dating New York’s most charming superhero and neither of them are prepared for what’s ahead…
Imagine your crawling into bed after a long day at work. You miss a specific person and that specific person is the one and only Barry Allen. You have a crush on Barry but you never told him nor has he ever found out. You finally decide to text Barry, “Where are you.” He replies a few seconds later, “Star Labs, why?” You say back, “I miss you.” You curious on what he’s going to say but a little while later he replies, “On my way.” You were confused but right as you are about to fall asleep you see Barry sitting right in front of you, on the bed, and rubbing your leg. As you closed your eyes, you hear Barry say one last thing: “I missed you too.” Finally knowing that he likes you too.
Blaine has a lot on his shoulders when he transfers to McKinley High, trying to get by as the new kid, hoping to join the Glee Club and of course hiding the one thing that forced him to leave his last school. The one thing noone outside of his family can know about him. Blaine knows that the rest of the school years is going to be awful until he meets the New Directions and a beautiful boy named Kurt.
Blaine, the reluctant superhero amateur with the lamest backstory ever. Kurt, the apparent snob with an impatient attitude and an aversion to expressing gratitude. They hate one another, but the universe has other plans if the way they keep running into each other is anything to go by.
Imagine you and Barry are both speedsters. When he asked you, “So, where do you wanna go?” You said, “The park” and he said, “Okay. Let’s see who gets there first.” Without another word, he speeds off with you running and following right behind. Y'all stay there until dark and suddenly Barry makes a move, making you feel like the luckiest girl in the world. ✨

Part Five: The End of the Pride
and the Prejudice, and the Start of the Superheroes
If you ever ask Blaine Anderson how he managed to break into a
hostage situation, undetected by both cops and robbers, make his way through
the building into the hot zone, fake himself as one of the hostages, find the perfect
moments to get the guns to scorch without the risk of making them accidentally
press the trigger and killing someone, and get their clothes equally scorching
without actually catching on fire, to the point of them writhing on the floor
completely neutralized but without being a danger or fire hazard to anyone
else, get everybody out safely, and make sure none of this could be traced back
to the almost normal looking boy in a sweater and jeans in the corner of the
room that the security cameras probably caught on tape – all the while sporting
a painfully broken arm, a roughed up face, and bloody palms and knees -… if you
ever ask Blaine how he managed all that? He will tell you he has absolutely no
idea, but that he’s damn glad he did.
