giving you my heart

Signs as Echosmith lyrics
  • Aries: I got your hand in my hand. No drinks inside. It's how we start a fire, with a natural high.
  • Taurus: Her beauty's a wonder, makes him forget about the end cause when it's all over who's really gonna care?
  • Gemini: They're driving fast cars, but they don't know where they're going. In the fast lane, living life without knowing.
  • Cancer: Don't come looking for me. You're better off not knowing. Cause your own story. Is the safest place you'll ever be
  • Leo: Give me your heart, and I'll give you my love. It's a work of art, when you shine like the sun. So give your heart to me
  • Virgo: Who are they, with their so-called innovations? They hold on, like they found their own salvation.
  • Libra: I searched valleys and mountaintops. Rolling hills and ticking clocks were all I heard, all that sound never thought love could be found
  • Scorpio: They were made for each other. They knew it was right. So sick of this ghost town. So they ran off in the night
  • Sagittarius: This is a good day, this is a good sign. You've got green eyes and I've got sunrise
  • Capricorn: We've got hopes on the horizon. We can't stop from climbing the mountain.
  • Aquarius: She sees them walking in a straight line, that's not really her style. And they all got the same heartbeat, but hers is falling behind.
  • Pisces: We're talking dreams baby. We'll cut the strings maybe. Through rose-colored lenses

On a different note do you have a any good kdrama recs? I've been trying to get into them recently but have no idea where to even start.

Oh my god

I do have recs

I have so many recs

I will give you my top five (all on Dramafever):

  • I’m currently watching Scarlet Heart: Ryeo (Director’s Cut) which is an alternate history take on the Goryeo Dynasty that involves time travel. I’m watching it both because I’m a history nerd and because the characters are fascinating. I have no idea who ends up with whom as I’m only on episode 3 and have a short attention span, but it’s SO FREAKING GOOD! (Also Hong Jung Hyun is in it and the character he plays is so charismatic!!)
  • The Idle Mermaid is another recent fave. It’s a retelling of The Little Mermaid starring Jo Bo Ah (who is such a versatile actress imo) as a young mermaid princess named Aileen who believes she’s fallen in love with this celebrity chef who she saves from drowning. Unfortunately, the dude doesn’t know her from Adam and so he’s kind of a dick. It’s super funny and has moments like the guys in Aileen’s share-house going through like a little fighting game montage to educate her on the rules for living with roommates.
  • Doctor Crush (with Park Shin Hye and Kim Rae Won) is like super intense and it will have you hooked from episode one. In this series, Park Shin Hye plays a young woman who’s had a really rough time in life. As a teenager, she was a bit of a rebel because her father and step-mother didn’t care about her. Her grandmother is the only person in her family who saw her as worthy of love so she takes her in and gets her started at a new school when she’s like seventeen. Like the first few episodes are set back then and the rest are about her adulthood and her dealing with trauma from back then. This show will make you sob and rage and fight everyone. (I can give you more details on this one because I’m currently watching it over since I skipped a few episodes back in the day).
  • Detectives of Seonam Girls’ High School - Okay so this is like… a series that requires some serious trigger warnings for Student/Teacher relationships, homophobia, bullying, suicide, abuse. Geez. It’s a heavy show but it’s also one of the best dramas I’ve ever seen. The four main characters are literally perfect and their growth throughout the series and evolving relationships are beautiful. But it’s heavy. I couldn’t marathon it and I still have like a bunch of episodes left in the series because it makes me anxious.
  • Now these last two aren’t shows I’ve watched before but ones I’m considering starting so I guess for the purpose of this they’re counting as one rec: I’m looking at starting Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo because the trailer is literally the cutest and I love sports series. Then there’s Tomorrow WIth You which looks like it’ll make me mad but also has a time travel element to it so I’m curious about how that’ll work because it’s not a history drama.

I’d started Cinderella and Four Knights but when I realized that the main character ends up with the guy who assumes she’s a gold-digger from the moment he meets her, I dropped that show like a hot rock. The Scholar Who Walks the Night looks interesting at first (and has an evil vampire as the villain) but I found it too slow-paced for my liking.

Hope you enjoy these shows and if you need more specific warnings or summaries, let me know.

One thing I’ve kept a secret for months already is this little zine my friends and I worked really hard for. This is all thanks to Ryan’s creative soul who brought us together to create a brainchild we’re passionate about. This is one of the many things we’re excited about as creatives and wandering souls.

The way I see it, we are our own individuals. We are different from one another but we have certain thoughts and emotions that we keep to ourselves for we are too afraid that no one will relate to us or even understand us. We’re too scared to be judged with all these absurdness, as some might say. But truth be told, there will always be someone who will relate to you. No matter how hard things get, you are not alone; never. That’s why this is a project that is close to my heart.

We give you, Ghostcry!

Ghostcry, also known as Ghost Cry / Ghost Story is not being given enough attention towards one’s creation that they merely become ghosts and their creations their cries, stories. All at once, Ghostcry is where one isn’t that. This is a free space for kids and teenagers to express themselves through various forms of art, and to be recognized, admired for, and to inspire through that.

This month is our official launch and we’re grateful to share our works with you. You can browse on over at our little home for our entries and different features we want to share with everyone. I can’t really say a lot but I’m just really glad we made this push through.

We update bimonthly with different entries from all types of medium! And we are opening our arms to welcome you to our little community. Head on over to our site so you can discover more about the zine and also about us. wink wink Also, we are inviting you to submit anything and everything about the theme for this month which is Going All Out: distressing, battling anxiety, admitting feelings, letting go of old habits, giving in. If you have any particular works that you want to be included for this theme, just click this for more information.

We hope you’re as excited for the future of this zine as we are! We’re always game for your own creative outputs so go on ahead and share them with us. c:

You’re in my arms and all the world is calm. The music playing on for only two.

A very rushed drawing for soriku day because to day was busy, but I desperately wanted to put something out today. I won’t let something as frivolous as an occupation get in the way of soriku day. nope.

Meeting you was like watching a movie that I’m uninterested with but, ended up being as my favorite. You were ordinary as I saw you for the first time. You entered the room wearing worn out pants, work-appropriate shirt and your gestures showed how nervous you were. I fell in love with your silent face. As time goes by, you introduced me to your paradise. And now, your smile is my favorite part of the day. You are the best scene that I’d watch all over again. You are a divine creation. I never thought I’d lay these eyes off of someone as I do, with you.
Meeting you was such a beautiful encounter. You don’t know how beautiful you are whenever you walk around the room, and you made me feel a little crazy when you smile back at me. Oh, you are clueless how it melts my heart every time and how you give chills right down to my spine. I know, you are wondering why I can’t look straight at your eyes whenever we talk. I just don’t want to exhaust every star that is forming inside. Because you are slowly becoming the universe to them.
Meeting you was something I’d be forever grateful. Your name is my favorite word, looking at you when you’re not looking at me is my favorite habit. Your voice creates lovely symphonies in my head. I haven’t seen such colors like yours before, and I’d be perfect if you paint my life with them. I don’t know if we have met somewhere in my deepest dreams, but I’m glad we met here. If this was a movie, you were my favorite part of it.
