give god the glory

God always does in me what’s best for the Kingdom.
So if I don’t receive something I’ve really wanted, or thought would be for me, I’m training myself to say, “that must not have been in heaven for me.”
Meaning: if I pray, “on earth as it is in heaven” and something doesn’t work out for me on earth, then it’s not in heaven. And if it’s not in heaven, then I don’t want it.
No matter how much sense it makes on paper or in my mind.
Always for Glory. Any friendship, any future relationship, any job, any circumstance. I believe that the things that have worked out for me have worked out because they give Glory to God.
I don’t want to partner with anything or anyone that doesn’t advance the Kingdom.

Friends and family that inspire you to wanna open you bible. That encourage you to wanna spend time in prayer And wanna grow your relationship with God and bear good fruits that give God the glory. People that motivate you to love others more and to be kind. To be a light in a dark place. please Keep them type of people in your life. They are a blessing and a very rare treasure. They have been sent by God to help you in your walk with the Lord and to be there to support you in your journey in life.

Hi. I’m Claire. I love Jesus and dogs. I could drink coffee all day long. I work a lot but I love my job. I like meeting new people and going out with friends. I’m in school for accounting- turns out I like it. But I’m a pretty creative person. I like handlettering, knitting, decorating my planner (and keeping it meticulously detailed and useful), reading, cooking, floral arranging, and I just started Bible journaling.

I’m an anorexia survivor. I give God all the glory for my healing from that and depression and cutting. I would love to share my story with you. I still struggle a bit with anxiety, but that has been a lesson in trust and peace with my Jesus. I’ve learned through it that medication and counselors are amazing, and there is no shame in any of it.

I want to be a foster mom. So, so badly. I can’t wait to be able to open my home to those kids. If you foster or want to, let’s chat! I would love to have friends who are going to raise foster kids one day when I do. That would be rad.

I love traveling and the outdoors. I love hiking and rock climbing and I would spend every weekend in a state park if I could. I love living in a city as big as Dallas though. Let me know if you ever come to Dallas cause I will show you around and tell you my fave places.

Let’s be friends!

It's hard for me as a practicing writer, artist, and actress to give glory to God. I know it's because of Him that I can do these things. I know. It's just hard. I feel like I should earn the praise--I've been the one who's put in the work in my own mind. Can you pray for me to get over my pride? I'm working on it but it's hard. Thanks.

Hi friend,

Sending so many prayers your way. <3

“Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory,
for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness!” - Psalm 115:1

“And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” - Colossians 3:17

All my love,

God builds, He doesn't destroy

I’ve been following a lie for most of my reversion/conversion, which I think can be helpful for others:

God does not destroy His creation; God builds on what He has already made good.

In the fit of trying to root all sin out of my life, I started attacking or devaluing or ignoring the foundation stones of who I am: personality traits, talents, etc. If any part of me could lead to sin, it had to be cast out or hidden under a bushel basket, or so degraded that it was worthless. I thought sin = bad, therefore avoid/hate. And of course this led to a lot of self-confidence issues. I was in some way destroying and tolerating myself, not loving myself, failing to recognize the good (given by God) in me.

Because those very things within me that may lead to sin, if not vigilantly watched out for, are meant to give glory to God. They are meant to be on a lampstand and burn so that others may see the light (roll credits). The essence of who I am is light and salt to the world; God has made me good, and my talents are good, when I use them for Him and others, and not for myself.

So the idea that God wanted my destruction, wanted me so completely changed and made over, obliterated, miserably denying the things that make me who I am or make me happy, is wrong.

God does not destroy His creation. God is love, and love is creative. Love renovates, repurposes, recreates, makes new and builds upon the foundation that is already there, that is already good. It refines and makes better what is already innately present. It fulfills and completes what is already laid down. (He’s a carpenter by trade, remember?)

On the opposite side, lust is destructive. Lust enslaves, possesses, devalues, and destroys. There is no freedom, no creativity, no love in lust. It never is satisfied and even hates the foundation of whatever is it’s object. Lust does not allow for growth, for change, for improvement; it is a force of enslavement of the one who lusts and it’s object. And this is not God.

God is love; He calls us good; He wants to build upon the foundation of His creation, which is you and me. He will not destroy anything that is fundamental to your character; but He will destroy what is sin, what is wrong, what is evil, for that is what enslaves us and slowly kills us.

God takes care of His creation; He takes care of you. And if you ever think that something like God doesn’t like your talents or doesn’t like you, don’t believe it. God likes you as He made you. He doesn’t want to destroy you, but restore you to His Divine Image. He loves you, and so He’ll root out sin and vice, so you can be fully His and one day be with Him in heaven.

Purity is not just not having sex.

Purity is God purifying your heart, your desires, your thoughts in a way that gives Him glory.

Purity is God removing things that are not of Him so we can be more like Him and love like Him.

None of us are pure apart from Christ and we are only pure in Him and because of Him. No one is more pure or holy than anyone else. Everyone fails in purity and everyone struggles with it differently. We all need Jesus to purify us and make us pure.

Purity is not soley about your body or physical action. Purity is not slut-shaming or making sexuality or sex shameful to speak of, think of, or desire. Purity is not abstinence but a lifelong characteristic we will develop and grow in the rest of our lives.

Purity is simply purifying us which changes everything about how we act and speak and love toward everyone, not just the opposite sex or your significant other.

Purity is beautiful and rare and undervalued but honestly precious. It is never lost in Christ, it is fully redeemed. It is not impossible if you truly allow God to change you within.

Purity is an attribute of God and reflective of His nature and love. We should all desire to become pure and in Christ recognize we are!

It’s pride, plain and simple, that keeps me from giving God all the glory and keeping some of it for myself. It is a battle we all fight, in some form or another, some of us daily or even hourly.

(from 1:38)
Hello, I’m Park Bogum.
Firstly, I would like to give the glory to God, who is always with me.
I would sincerely like to thank you for giving me, who is still lacking, such a big award like the 'Asia Star Award’.
I think I have been quite blessed this year - to the point where I think about whether it’s okay for me to accept this undeserved love. My shoulder’s are heavy, but I will always work hard in order to show a better side of myself and good acting, so that I can repay the love that I have received.
I would like to relay a sincere thanks to all the fans, fans around the world, and (Korean) viewers who loved 'Reply 1988’ and 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ this year.
I will work hard in order to become an actor that always gives off good/positive influence to many people, and who is honest to myself and sincere to others.
Thank you so much for inviting me today, and for giving me such a meaningful award at such a meaningful award ceremony.
In closing, I would like to share the thankfulness and happiness (of this award) with all the staff who worked together on 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’, as well as Yoojung who is here today, the sunbaenim’s who held the core (of the drama) together, and with the 'Moonlight Drawn by Clouds’ directors and script writers.
Thank you so much.

Step Across the Faith Line

And being not weak in faith, [Abraham] considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
Romans 4:19-20

In the years I’ve spent living by faith, there’s something I’ve learned to do that helps me receive from God in the toughest of situations. It’s something I call stepping over the faith line.

A faith line is what you need when you want God to do the “impossible” in your life. It’s what you need when you want to be firm in your faith and yet you keep wavering back and forth between your circumstances and God’s promises—believing first one, then the other.

It’s what can make you like faithful Abraham. You know, Abraham had natural facts to deal with just like we do. He knew there was no natural way for God’s promise to him to come true.

Yet the Word says Abraham considered not his own body. In other words, Abraham ignored the natural evidence around him and believed only God’s promise.

Somewhere he stepped across the line of faith.

He made an irreversible decision to go with the Word of God. He made a final commitment. He chose to step past the point of no return. And if you and I are ever going to see God do the impossible in our lives, we’re going to have to do the same thing!

How do you draw that faith line?

Begin with the Word. Search the promises of God and purposely believe what He has said, and is saying, about your need. Meditate on those promises until faith rises in your heart.

Then draw the line of faith. Draw it in your mind and heart. Draw it across the floor in your prayer room. Say, “In the presence of God, in the presence of all the angels in this room, and in the devils face, I am stepping across the line of faith. From this moment on, I consider this matter done. From this day forward, I give God the praise and the glory in the Name of Jesus.”

From that moment on, speak only as if your miracle has already happened. Turn your back on the problems, on the doubts, and turn your face toward Jesus.

God will do the impossible in your life. Dare to step across the faith line!

Allowing the Lord to prepare you is a sign of humility,
A humble heart learn from the fiery darts of the enemy,
Her boldness is built by giving her trust to God Almighty,
A life written to give glory to the One who died for me.

@allybrookeofficial: It’s been fun, Vegas. Thanks for an extraordinary birthday with unforgettable memories. I felt an outpouring of love and overwhelmingly blessed. Thank you to all the people who made this possible. @mikesnedegar @marqueelv @cirquedusoleil @taolasvegas @giadadelaurentiis , all of you Harmonizers and my phenomenal loved ones. I give all the credit and glory to God because without him I would have none of these truly unreal blessings. Don’t know what I did to receive all this, but I am eternally grateful. I love 22 already :)

What’s important to God should be important to you.

What God loves you should love.

What God dislikes so should you dislike.

What God delights in so should you delight yourself in .

What God enjoys you should enjoy.

What gives honour and glory to God is the thing we need to be and do.

Do and be the person God is pleased inn. Doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks…
what does God think.

Focus on God and His opinions not other people’s!

Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.
—  Revelation 14:6-7

2 Corinthians 4:3-6 (ESV)
And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

“The people of the Cross.”
21 of them—21 of US—have been promoted to glory. May God give their families Grace to make it through this.

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Pray for their families Church!
