When he was 3 years old, he watched in amazement as the big truck pulled up to the curb of the suburban neighborhood he called home. With his nose pressed against the glass he watched two men step out of the truck and start unloading boxes onto the driveway. The simple action fascinated him for reasons he couldn’t explain.

The sun caught the exterior of the bright red minivan that pulled into the driveway, causing him to squint. He couldn’t believe his eyes when a girl hopped out of the backseat.

“Woah.” He mumbled against the glass, his hot breath causing it to fog up. Quickly wiping it away, he watched as she danced around the lawn while the rest of her family started moving boxes. Her pigtails bounced behind her as she ran around.

“Stiles? What are you doing?” His dad asked curiously. Before he could answer, his father noticed the moving truck and family moving in across the street. “Wanna go say hi?” His father offered, placing a hand on the small boy’s shoulder. Nodding furiously, he smiled up at his father.

It was one of those days.

Harry adored his job. He really did. His work was his first love, he always said. But there were certainly days where it all got to be a little too much.

He woke up at six in the morning to be greeted by a rainy and foggy sky outside. He spent a good ten minutes gazing at the great love of his life, her hair splayed in all different directions from having forgotten to tie it up in a ponytail like she usually did. Her lips were slightly parted, and her eyes were still puffy from the night before. He exhaled a sigh at the memory of it—it was the first time they’d really fought in a little while, but it’d been a doozy. Exhaustion took it’s toll on the both of them, but they were both too stubborn to admit it. It had been over something petty that he wasn’t even angry about anymore, even though at the moment in all seemed so important. And even though they tried to never go to bed angry, their tired eyes beat out the need to make up.

He exhaled a soft sigh as he watched his love, and he could see the tension built up in her features still from last night. He didn’t want to wake her just yet, because he knew that she would not love being woken up at six in the morning if she didn’t need to get up. The two of them rarely ever got a good night’s sleep anymore, and he didn’t want to take away her rest.

He got himself out of bed and walked over to the bathroom, going about his morning routine as quietly as possible as to not wake his girls. Within half an hour he was dressed up in a pair of black jeans and one of his button-ups. Usually he wouldn’t get so dolled up to go out this early, but he had a few morning radio shows he was making a live guest appearance on and impressions mattered to him. Having decided to get breakfast on the way to work, he quickly slipped out of the house without making a sound.

The rest of the day didn’t get any better.

"Okay next question for all of you...if you had the chance would you do it with Chat Noir?"

“Okay next question for all of you… if you had the chance would you do it with Chat Noir?” Alya’s eyes scanned the circle as she tried to suppress her giggles. Adrien nearly choked on the popcorn he was eating, as he began to think that sneaking away to a boy girl sleepover at Marinette’s might not have been his best idea…

“Yup!” Nino said without hesitation. A strangled sound escaped Adrien’s throat. I so did not need to know that dude! Adrien thought to himself.

“No way! Way too much leather.” Rose stuck out her tongue in disgust. The leather is actually quite comfortable and formfitting thank you very much!

“Well if I had to pick a dude I guess I would do it with Chat Noir,” Kim said uncertainly.

“Excuse you!” Max squeaked indignantly.

“What about you Marinette? Would you do it with Chat Noir?” Alya said pointedly. Marinette rolled her eyes.

“Please, he’s not my type,” Marinette snickered.

“Not your type!?!” Adrien practically shrieked causing Marinette to nearly jump out of her skin.

“N-n-no not r-r-really,” Marinette stammered.

“What is blonde not your type?! Is heroism not your type? Nice smiles aren’t your type?!?” Adrien continued to screech.

“Sounds like someone has a crush on Chat Noir,” Alya teased

“WHY AREN’T I YOUR TYPE?!” Adrien shouted.

“WHAT?!!?” The group shouted in unison all heads swiveling to face the blonde boy. Marinette stared back at him in stunned silence. Shit!

Requested: No, but @illuminateshawn and I live for drunk, festival Mendes in that red shirt from Amsterdam.

“Can I have three large beers, thanks” I smiled, handing the girl in front of me my money. The sun was burning into my back, heating up my entire body slowly.

“I just love this weather” my friend Julia said. She closed her eyes, tilting her head back to fully enjoy the warm rays of sun burning in her face.

“Me too” I agreed, looking around the festival filled with drunk people having fun everywhere.

To me, this was what summer was all about; heat, friends, music and beers. Actually, going to festivals was my happy place, I loved the whole idea of just letting go and enjoy yourself as much as possible; meeting new people and staying up until the early hours when the sun rose again.

“Girl, don’t look now but that guy… he’s looking again” Julia laughed, taking of her black sunglasses.

rose - peter parker

Rose - ((Tom Holland)) Peter Parker x Reader | 3rd Person

Prompt: (soulmate au where: after you meet your soulmate, whatever they draw or write on themselves will also appear on you) During class, a poorly-drawn rose appears on Peter’s forearm, letting him know that he has met his soulmate.

a/n: soulmate aus: overdone yet not done enough. DAY 7!! HOMECOMING COMES OUT TODAY!! i’m insanely proud of both tom and zendaya (my two loves) and i’m so excited to see the movie! but i’m super busy this weekend/today so i have to wait until next week to see it :( so nO SPOILERS! and i want to thank all of you guys who read all the imagines for all 7 days and the support has been insane, so thank you so fucking much you guys rock.

(Y/N) didn’t believe she would find her soulmate. Though he was probably out there, she may not ever meet him. Most of her friends had not yet met their soulmate, but there were a lucky few who were so happy it made (Y/N) sick.

Even having met her fair share of guys, (Y/N) wanted to focus more on her schoolwork over finding love. Though meeting that special someone was always in the back of her mind, she knew that the chances were slim that he went to her high school. Besides, getting into a good college should be a bigger priority over obsessing to find a soulmate.

She sat in the back of a boring history class, and nobody was paying attention to the video being played. Even the teacher had decided to go on their phone over watching the dull documentary. (Y/N) was laying her head down on the desk, bored out of her mind, and decided to pull out a red pen.

Clicking the pen, (Y/N) sloppily started doodling a rose on her upper forearm. The red rose was poorly drawn and messy, but she was proud of it. The rose was simple and plain and she liked it, so she just left it as it was. (Y/N) put her pen back into her bag, and focused her attention back to the uninteresting video.

In a different classroom, Peter sat in the back of his science class next to his friend. His sleeve was rolled down to his wrists, and he felt something on his upper forearm. Pulling his sleeve up, he saw a rose on. It looked as if it were made of red pen, and it seemed to have been drawn carelessly, yet there was something about it that was strangely pretty.

His eyes widened and Peter quickly showed it to his friend, who was excited for Peter. Peter was both happy and extremely anxious. He asked his friend what to do, which we only got an “I don’t know” in response.

Peter walked home after the bell rang, still confused over what exactly he should do. There was a girl out there, who drew a rose on her arm, and didn’t even know that he saw it. After reaching his apartment, he sat down at his desk and looked at the rose. Finally deciding what to do, he picked up a sharpie and wrote on his arm. I like the rose he wrote simply. Peter hoped whoever she was, saw it.

Sitting on her bed, (Y/N) felt something on her arm. She looked at her arm and saw the words “I like the rose” in a sloppy handwriting. (Y/N)’s eyes widened in surprise, she never expected to meet her soulmate this early.

Though she knew that having a soulmate must be nice, she thought she wasn’t ready for the type of life-long commitment that came with it. (Y/N) ran into her bathroom and scrubbed off the words. She would write back when she was ready, and for now, she wasn’t.

It’s been a week since Peter’s soulmate had drawn the rose, and since then he was determined to find out who she was. The girl would never respond when he wrote, and she hadn’t drawn anything since.

Deciding that the day was hot compared to most days in New York, the majority of girls wore short-sleeves. Peter quickly came up with a plan simple enough to find out if his soulmate went to his school. He was planning to draw a large dot on his arm in bright red ink so it would stand out on any skin tone.

Later that day, he saw a girl walk by him with a red dot on her arm. He quickly scrambled to see who the girl was, and it was (Y/N). He had met her once, she sat in front of him in their math class. Having his first, real look at the girl, he noticed that she was really pretty. Her smile was warm, and her laugh was genuine.

He went home that day, happy to know who his soulmate was. Once in his room, he got out his marker and wrote on his arm, deciding to have fun with the newfound knowledge. Peter simply wrote the words Hey (Y/N).

(Y/N) looked at her arm to see what it would now say, and she was shocked to see what was written. She wondered how he had figured out, but decided that there was no use in hiding anymore. She wrote a small Hey back and waited to see where it would take her.

Another week later, (Y/N) and her soulmate had become somewhat close. They talked for long periods of time so both of their arms were covered in ink, but (Y/N) still didn’t know who he was. He had given clues, but she still remained clueless.

Peter hadn’t told (Y/N) who he was yet for two reasons. For one, he was scared of what she would think. In his opinion, she was extremely out of his league; smart, funny, pretty were only a few things people could use to describe her. The second reason was just that he liked the mystery of it, but that was all going to change.

(Y/N) had agreed to meet her soulmate at a coffee shop nearby their school. She was anxious, but she knew that no matter who he may be, she was happy. He seemed really funny and smart, and she was happy to finally be able to meet him.

Showing up to the cafe, (Y/N) ordered a coffee and sat at a table near the front window. She looked down at her phone and scrolled through her Instagram feed, waiting for who her soulmate would be.

A tap on her shoulder sent her bolting upright. In front of her stood Peter Parker, holding a rose. She smiled widely and ran out of her chair. Immediately hugging him, causing them both to laugh. He handed her the rose, and when (Y/N) gave him a confused look, he said, “It was the first thing that you drew on yourself that got drawn on me.”

(Y/N) took the rose and smiled, starting a conversation. The two talked for hours, and when it got late (Y/N) looked at him and said, “I’m glad that out of all the people that could’ve been my soulmate, it was you. I mean, there are loads of assholes that go to our school, and even though you’re kind of a dork, you’re my dork.”

Peter laughed and pretended to be offended, “Well, excuse me! At least I’m not a loser like you!”

(Y/N) smiled again, she hadn’t stopped smiling since the start of the date and her cheeks ached, “But in all seriousness, I’m glad you’re my soulmate,” she said honestly.

He beamed at her and said, “I’m glad you’re my soulmate, too.”

Imagine Chris admitting you’re his celebrity crush.

A/N: This is a request from @unstainedlight and it took me forever to get to, I’m so sorry. But here it is, finally! It’s super cute and I’d a lot of fun writing it (as in I giggled a lot) Enjoy! X

You arrived on the ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ set shortly after your husband, Chris. The two of you came in separate cars because you’d come from your movie set, whereas he came from the hotel you were put up in while working in New York; he wasn’t due to film ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ until May. Both you and Chris had been invited by Jimmy Fallon to do your own respective interviews on your upcoming movies and pending projects, or so the both of you thought. As it turned out, those reasons were just bait given to your publicists to get both of you on his set at the same time without raising suspicion; the man had something cheeky planned.

Jimmy had interviewed Chris numerous times now- one could say that they were friends, so Jimmy knew about Chris’ crush on you. He’d said numerous times now, in most of his interviews, that you were a beautiful actress he admired, with values, morals, and ethics that made him think very highly of you; or in short, that you were his celebrity crush. The thing that Jimmy didn’t know, however, was that they two of you were actually married. You’d met Chris in 2014 while having lunch with your friends, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski. Chris was a good friend of John’s who thought the two of you would hit it off, and you did almost immediately.

After that day, the two of you starting secretly dating under the media’s radar because neither of you wanted the stress that came with having your relationship in the limelight. Both of you had been in the industry for a while now, so you knew what it was like when you started dating someone. The constant scrutiny, the tabloids and the rumors, the analyzing of everything you do and say, the haters and cynics calling the relationship a publicity stunt and waiting for it to blow up- you didn’t want to deal with that. Those were the things that usually ended a Hollywood relationship which was the last thing you and Chris wanted, so things between the two of you were kept under a tight lid.

Your friends and family knew about the relationship, but everyone did as you both asked and kept what they knew to themselves. During your time as boyfriend and girlfriend, you attended all red carpet events alone and took no photos together so you wouldn’t risk revealing your relationship to the world. It was unpractical, difficult, and occasionally lonely, but it worked out. Of course you weren’t going to keep it a secret forever, at some point you were going to want to reveal to the world that you were with the best person you’d ever met; vice versa. You’d both agreed to keep things hush until things were more solidified, and now that the two of you were happily married- the relationship was to be revealed at your movie premiere which was in a week’s time. But perhaps Jimmy’s cheeky little plan to embarrass Chris would move that announcement up.

“Hey stranger,” you called as you caught Chris in your dressing room mirror; he was up first and was walking towards the stage. He poked his head in and shot you a smile which you reciprocated. “Good luck out there, Captain America,” you gave him a two finger salute which made him laugh as he disappeared around the corner with the stage manager.

“Oh my God,” your makeup artist, Arizona, let out the breath she was holding in. “He is so freaking handsome,” she said then chuckled when you laughed. “I’m so glad I’m not the one doing his makeup, I wouldn’t be able to focus.” You said nothing in response as you closed your eyes to let her finish doing your eyeshadow. “Are the two of you friends?”

“I guess,” you shrugged nonchalantly.

“You know you’re his celebrity crush, right?” She was grinning excitedly when you opened your eyes. “As a fan of both you and Chris Evans, I can say that the two of you would make such a great couple.” You had to bite the inside of your cheek to stop from laughing. “You two should really make a movie together, ‘cause that’d be amazing.”

“Yeah,” you nodded in agreement.

“Okay,” she sprayed your face with setting spray then tucked a stray hair in its place. “All done, Y/N. You look amazing as always,” she complimented with a sweet smile. “And as always, it’s been an honor to do your hair and makeup. If you ever need a permanent stylist, I’m your girl.”

“Thanks Arizona,” you smiled then saw the stage director enter the room through the mirror. “And that’s my cue,” you told her and rose to your feet. You followed the stage director towards the stage and watched the TV, waiting for Jimmy to introduce you and bring you out.

“So Chris, I’m not sure if you’ve seen the interview your buddy Sebastian did with James Cordon a while back.” Chris’ eyes narrowed slightly as he pondered; he watched most of the interviews his friends and cast mates did. “The one with his celebrity crush, Sharon Stone.” Jimmy reminded him; Chris laughed and nodded. “Well, taking a page out of Cordon’s book- I thought I’d bring your celebrity crush here tonight so you can have the same opportunity to try and win her over with your charm and good looks.”

“Oh God,” Chris laughed. “This is not going to end well, I can tell already.”

“Let’s give Y/N Y/L/N a hand,” Jimmy called and you walked out right on cue. Chris caught your eye and you both tried hard not to crack even though the smiles you had on your faces were enough to give your big secret away. “C'mon Chris,” Jimmy teased as he rose to his feet, joining the audience in giving you a standing ovation. “Get on your feet, give a good impression.”

“Right, sorry.” Chris jumped onto his feet and clapped for you until you got to his side. “Hi Y/N, it’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” He shook your hand then leaned forward to give your cheek a quick peck. “We’re going to blow this, aren’t we?” He whispered into your ear before pulling away; you subtly nodded in response.

“Hi everyone,” you waved at the audience and they cheered for you. “Oh wow,” you began addressing Jimmy as the three of you took your seats. “It is so good to be back here. How are you, Jimmy?” You asked and he laughed.

“I’m meant to be the interviewer here, Y/N,” he joked and you chuckled. “I’m great, and you look great too. The New York air must agree with you. You’ve been out here for a while now, right?” You nodded. “You’re filming your latest movie which takes place in Manhattan, are you having fun?”

“Crazy fun,” you nodded. “I love New York, it’s where I started my career and where some of my best friends live so- yeah, I’m having a lot of fun. New York’s basically like a third home to me,” you told him; beside you, Chris smiled because he knew you refer to LA- your hometown- as home and Boston- his hometown- as your second home.

“Third home?” Jimmy quizzed. “Isn’t the saying second home?” You nodded, chuckling softly. “Okay then, so if New York is your third home then- where’s your second home? I know LA is your hometown, so that’s number one. What’s number two?”

“Boston,” you answered, trying not to smile too widely as you glanced at Chris; he couldn’t hide his grin. “It’s um- it’s a place close to my heart, a lot of my friends are from Boston- like John Krasinski, and it’s also where I fell in-love actually, with a Bostonian.”

“You’re in-love?” Jimmy looked over at Chris and pressed his lips together. “Aw, that’s a bummer.” Both you and Chris laughed at that. “Here I was thinking I was going to set the two of you up 'cause you know, Chris- Captain America, is not shy about admitting who his celebrity crush is.” You chuckled softly as you nodded. “He’s from Boston too, so if you think he’s better than your current love- it wouldn’t be hard to jump ship. Right, Chris?”

“Well,” Chris winced, trying hard not to crack. “If she’s already in-love with someone else, y'know- I’m not going to interfere with that.” You bit the inside of your cheek, stifling your laughs. “If she were single, of course I’d go for it, but she’s in a relationship, man. I can’t do that to a brother,” he tried not to laugh as he said that.

“Think about this, Y/N,” Jimmy tried to sell your husband to you. “Chris is a fan of yours, he is practically in-love with you already.” You looked over at Chris and he nodded in agreement with Jimmy’s statement, holding a serious face that made you want to laugh. “And c'mon, how great can your current guy be compared to Captain America? I mean- the choice is simple, right? Right, guys?” He asked the audience and they cheered. “The two of you would be the new Brad and Angelina, minus the divorce 'cause you’re Chris’ celebrity crush and I doubt he’d do anything to risk losing you.”

“Oh, definitely not,” Chris agreed and you turned away, laughing. “I’d treasure you for the rest of my life, Y/N.” He took your left hand in his, lifting it into vision but hiding your wedding bands. “I’d love you in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do us part. But I think you already know that from when we exchanged wedding vows,” he said and revealed the wedding bands; everyone gasped, including Jimmy. “Yeah,” Chris began as you both turned to a stunned Jimmy, chuckling. “I didn’t need your help 'cause I already married my celebrity crush.”

“Oh my God,” Jimmy’s jaw dropped. “How- when- are you guys even- Wait, what?” He laughed, bouncing excitedly in his chair. “When did this even happen? I didn’t even know that you guys knew each other, let alone dated! And you’re married? What the fu-” he cut himself off, his smile wide. “That is amazing, wow! Congratulations, you two! Wow!” The audience cheered and clapped when Jimmy did. “This is exclusive right? No one knew before this moment?”

“Our friends and family know,” you told him, chuckling. “But no one else did, so yes. This is an exclusive on your show. I’m married to Chris Evans,” you said and Chris brought your entwined hands to his lips, kissing the back of your hand.

“Yup,” Chris grinned at you then turned to the camera, “I’m married to my celebrity crush.”

Gem Heat AU- Pearl Runs Out Of Flour

Amethyst stood in the doorway, mouth agape. Pearl was laser focused on putting the finishing touches on a three tiered cake, and Steven was sitting on a stool with a half eaten plate of cookies in front of him. The counters around them were covered with various baked goods.Amethyst had noticed the smell when she was walking back to the temple with a bag of fry bits, now lying on the beach where she had dropped them. This had happened before. Steven and the gems liked to bake, but Amethyst only smelled that many different types of dessert when Pearl needed to distract herself. Specifically when she was in heat.

“Hi Amethyst!” Steven waved to her. “Isn’t this great? Pearl’s been baking all day!”

Amethyst was silent as she watched Pearl make another perfect icing rose like her life depended on it. This was bad.

“How are we gonna eat all of this?” Steven idly asked the room at large.

“Hey, uh, why don’t you go take Lion and go get Connie and Greg? Don’t want them to miss out on all this, huh?” Amethyst fought to keep her voice calm.

“Good idea!” Steven hopped off the stool and started walking to the door, stopping when he saw Amethyst’s face. “Are you ok?”

“Yeah…” Amethyst said distantly. Steven frowned slightly and handed her a cupcake.

“Well, anyway, have one of these. They’re really good.”

Both Pearl and Amethyst were motionless as the door opened and the sound of Steven’s footsteps traveled down the stairs and out onto the beach. Soon after, Lion’s distant roar was carried up to the door by the gentle sea breeze.

The house was silent.

Pearl’s eyes met Amethyst’s for a moment. She blushed, hard, and went back to icing. Amethyst slowly put the cupcake in her mouth and chewed. The wrapper’s muffled crinkling filled the room, and then she swallowed. Pearl kept working.

“It’s bad this time, huh, P?”

Pearl’s blush deepened but she didn’t stop.

Amethyst stepped up to her and gently put a hand on Pearl’s back. Pearl jumped like she had been touched with a live wire and icing squirted all over the counter’s contents. Together they stared at the cake’s now erratic pattern.

The tube of icing clattered gently to the floor. “Geez, P, I didn’t mean to-” She was interrupted by Pearl lifting both her arms and slamming her fists into the cake. It splattered tremendously.

Pearl’s breath was ragged as she stood up straight and turned her back to Amethyst and the cake. “Darn it.” A bit of cake slid off her shoulder and hit the floor with a soft splat.

“I’m really sorry, P, I didn’t think… Can we make another one?” Amethyst wrung her hands together nervously.

“No.” She sighed. “And even if I wanted to, we’re out of flour.”

"Are you sure?” Amethyst looked around at the desserts covering the counter, and now the floor, walls, and ceiling, wondering how many bags Pearl had been through already. Wait… if they were out of flour… what was Pearl going to occupy her time with now? Amethyst turned back to see the kitchen devoid of icing-coated gems, and the screen door clattered open behind her.

The one we know as Mystery Girl worked part time as a bartender in a rarely visited dive, but 3pm on a Thursday was an especially dull time. She was leaning on the counter doing the daily crossword when the bar door flung open and an oddly sweet wind swept past her. She glanced up at the still empty bar as the door swung shut. She shrugged and looked back down at her puzzle, which now had a small fragment of icing covering the word she was working on.

Mystery Girl turned around to see a flushed and out of breath Pearl fiddling with her ribbon, eyes on the floor.

She raised an eyebrow at the gem, a smile playing across her lips. “Is it that time already?” She reached out and plucked a perfectly formed icing rose from Pearl’s hair and popped it in her mouth. Pearl’s blush deepened and she nodded, still not meeting her eye.

She grinned at Pearl’s embarrassment, leaned forward, and whispered, “How about we head to the back room and I clean you up? I could use a snack.“ She licked her lips and winked, and then laughed out loud as Pearl leapt at her.

Prompt: everyone keeps asking why they both keep wearing the pink & yellow color scheme mixed together (they share clothes)

Here you go!

Kimberly had been wearing Trini’s bomber jacket all day, the same bomber jacket Trini wore when they first found the power coins, the jacket Trini wore the first time they met. Something about the jacket made Kim’s heart clench, it smelled faintly like her, trees and pinewood, the smell of the forest, calming and refreshing. Kimberly could also smell the hints of a floral perfume, but it didn’t cover the earthly smell. The jacket smelled like Trini, like safety. Kimberly hadn’t meant to take it, she really hadn’t. She had climbed through Trini’s window last night, same as always, with krispy kreme donuts, for the sheer irony, and she lost track of the time, she usually does when she is with Trini, finding herself lost in the girls bright smile, her doe eyes, everything about Trini was warm, and comfortable. Trini was home. Kimberly always made sure to leave before the sun rose, every time, to make sure that she didn’t get caught by her parents, even though leaving Trini was difficult, her girlfriend begging her to stay and cuddle, among other things, though she usually was pretty good at saying no, the keyword being usually. Last night, she wasn’t as good as saying no as she thought she was, which was proven in more ways than one.

Kimberly had woken the next morning, the sun shining through the window blinding her, as she was laying in bed with Trini, the majority of her clothes spewed across the room, Trini’s soft brown hair spread across the sheets in front of her. The smaller girl was pressed up against her, Kim’s arm thrown over her midsection, holding her close, the other girls chest falling at an even pace, Trini’s light snoring filling Kim’s ears. Kimberly took in the calm for a moment, appreciating the beautiful girl in front of her, who was also her girlfriend. She then realized where she was. At Trini’s house, in the morning, after sneaking out of her house to see Trini. Kimberly jolted out of bed, quickly checking the time on her phone, which was in her pants, which were thrown across the room, on Trini’s desk, along with the assortment of their clothes everywhere, it was five a.m., giving her about an hour to get home, before her parents realized she wasn’t home. Trini started groaning, as Kimberly ran around the room, trying to grab her clothes, as she rushed to get home. Trini’s words were barely audible, but Kimberly could make out a “what the fuck?”,also a “its too early for this”, and a “come back here,” which is what Trini said as she pulled Kimberly back, tugging on her arm, Kimberly falling back into the bed, as Trini tried to pull her closer, Trini still being half asleep.

“Trin! Trini I have to go, unless you want my parents to find out their daughter isn’t home.”

Kimberly exclaimed, trying to pull herself from the other girl, who was incredibly strong, but if she was being honest, she wasn’t really trying that hard, not wanting to leave herself. Trini’s grip didn’t loosen, still pulling Kimberly closer, a small smirk on her face.

“Well that’s too bad princess. Maybe if you hadn’t suggested other activities last night, you would’ve been home on time.”

Trini teased, a mischievous grin on her face as she yanked the other girl forward again. Kimberly was about to yell Trini’s name but stopped herself, realizing that Trini’s parents were literally across the hall. Kimberly falls right next to Trini, their faces inches apart. Her breath hitches as she tries teasing back.

“Suggested, huh? So last night, that’s what you think suggesting is?”

Kimberly hadn’t suggested it, but she certainly wasn’t opposed to it, she also wouldn’t admit that she was secretly hoping.

“I don’t remember you saying no, or complaining, but I do remember a few other words, like OH TRIN-“

Kimberly silences the other girl with a kiss, as they both melt into the kiss, Trini’s hand coming up to frame Kim’s face, her grip loosening on the other girl, allowing Kimberly to slip out of her iron grasp. Kim pulled away from the bed, a whine leaving Trini’s mouth, and rushed to grab all her clothes and her jacket, and she wasn’t really paying attention, mainly because of her incredibly adorable girlfriend whining and begging her to stay, even though they both knew how that’d turn out. Kimberly threw on a bunch of random clothes, anything she could pick from the assortment on Trini’s floor, before kissing her girlfriend quickly and rushing home, barely making it back before her mother came to ‘wake her up’.

What she hadn’t realized until she walked into school, was that the jacket she was wearing wasn’t hers. The sleeves were too short, it wasn’t long enough at the waist, it smelled faintly like pinewood and cedar, and it was bright yellow. It was Trini’s, which meant her pink shirt, and pinkish red jacket was at Trini’s, and that they had accidentally switched clothes. Kimberly didn’t mind, they’d done it before, but just in the safety of each others rooms, she liked the vague smell of Trini left on the collar, she liked how short the sleeves were too short, reminding her of how small her girlfriend was, something Trini was very defensive about, but Kimberly knew she secretly liked being the small spoon, having to stand on her tiptoes to kiss Kimberly, and wearing Kimberly’s clothes. She knew that nobody who didn’t know them personally wouldn’t notice, but she knew the boys would notice, but they didn’t know that Kim and Trini were dating, although they had been asking questions and wondering what had changed between the girls. So when Kim walks into english, which she has with Jason, she notices his eyes do a double take of the outfit, and how he narrows his eyes curiously, examining how Kim was acting, looking for any of the cues that she had been with Trini, happy, blissful, bashful. Jason wasn’t clueless, he was the team leader after all, he also knew the girls very well, noticing that they had changed in terms of friendliness, so Kim knew that he noticed she was wearing Trini’s jacket, and she waited for him to ask. Thirty minutes of class passed before he said anything.

“You’re wearing Trini’s jacket”

It wasn’t so much a question, as it was a statement. Kimberly doesn’t turn her head away from the front, she just skims over her outfit before saying.

“I guess I am.”

Jason’s face scrunches up in confusion, as he nods his head slowly, looking back at the teacher. Kimberly had to contain her smirk, she could go along with this, teasing the poor, innocent boys.

What Kim didn’t know was that Trini had also switched her clothes, wearing Kimberly’s bright pink shirt, a colour very uncommon on her, but Kimberly had no complaints. As they went on through the school day, both girls got different confused questions from the the boys like, “um isn’t that Kim’s shirt?” and “when did you decide to start wearing the colour pink?” or “yellow’s new?” The girls were both getting joy out of seeing the boys confused, and Zack very suspicious.

At the end of school, the boys confronted the girls, determined to find out what had been going on between them, ready to get their answer. As the girls were leaving school, both wearing a mix between pink and yellow, the boys stepped in front of them, Zack’s arms crossed, Jason eyes narrowing, trying to figure out what was going on, still slightly confused, and Billy, sweet sunshine child, just stood there, still very confused himself, but not really caring, a small across his face. Jason starts off.

“So…what’s going on with you two?”

He asks vaguely, gesturing between the two girls. The girls share a quick glance, small mischievous smirks pulling at their faces, as they continues to tease and act clueless.

“What do you mean red? You jealous?”

Trini teases, causing Jason to stutter, his face almost as red as his suit. He doesn’t say anything else. Zack though, Zack wasn’t afraid to press.

“You’re sharing clothes, even perfume I think. You go out on cafe dates like everyday, and you two are suddenly very close, much closer than before, so what’s happened?”

He states, not wanting to push any boundaries, knowing he’d get his ass kicked. The girls just smile, and intertwine their hands and Billy just says sweetly.

“Well if you guys are happy, we’re happy too.”

He says before clapping his hands, giving the girls a reassuring smile, but something in his eyes is telling them that he knows, that he understood, a small smirk pulling at the corners of his lips. Trini’s smirk widens as Kimberly speaks.

“Thanks Billy, and what can we say guys, we’re just your regular gal pals.”

She pats Jason’s arm, before pulling Trini’s arm as they pick up their pace, leaving the boys clueless, but not a minute later, Kimberly hears Billy say something and then Jason and Zack yell in unison.

“WAIT A MINUTE!!!”

Trini tugs Kimberly as they start to run, the boys chasing after them, questions being shouted, as they ran away, together.

It had been two weeks since their little incident, and when Bucky said he wanted to get Y/N riled up, he wasn’t lying. It had been absolute torture for our poor girl; with the looks Bucky gave her when he walked into a room, the sinfully tight shirts he wore during training, the small moments when no one was looking that he would grind up against her, speak lowly in her ear and then leave like nothing had happened. Just this morning he pulled something that nearly made Y/N explode…

Y/N grumbled as she made her way down the hallway to the elevator; the only thing on her mind being food. She had spent the entire morning cooped up in her room, particularly to avoid making any and all contact with a certain James Barnes (who happened to reside three doors down from her). She thought she had been doing a good job so far, and had actually gone as far as to ask FRIDAY about Bucky’s location throughout her time hiding out, just in case he decided to surprise her. So, as she passed his room, Y/N was quite surprised (and very alarmed) to hear low moans coming from inside. She thought she had made sure that Bucky’s room was clear before she set off on her escapade to retrieve food… guess she was getting lazy.

Sure, she had recently been in a state of constant hatred towards the man, but she still cared for him. It’s not like they didn’t have history. Therefore, being the gallant little Avenger she is, Y/N quickly darted to Bucky’s door and swung it open. The sight she was greeted with nearly knocked the breath out of her chest.

Bucky Barnes was not in trouble; oh no, he was far from it. The man in question was sprawled out on his bed, the duvet kicked lazily around his feet, his body bare and his legs spread wide. Bucky’s chest was heaving as he took deep breaths between low moans and throaty groans, his metallic hand gripping the headboard and his human hand pumping his cock at a steady rhythm. Y/N was at a loss for words as her eyes traveled his figure, his skin covered in a light layer of sweat, his abs contracting as waves of pleasure washed over his body. He was like something out of myth; he was a fucking god. Bucky’s head was thrown back as a breathy “oh god” fell from his sinfully plump lips, his eyes scrunched shut and god his neck… how Y/N was alive at that very moment remains a mystery.

But before anything else could happen, Y/N closed the door as dramatically as she had opened it, and fell against it as she stared, wide eyed, at the opposite wall of the now eerily quiet hallway, her mind attempting to grasp what had just happened. A sharp breath left her in the form of what sounded like a panic-ridden sigh, and Y/N closed her eyes for a moment, trying to wipe her brain of what she had just seen. But did she want to?

Bucky, on the other hand, had stopped his movements and was smirking triumphantly to himself. He heard her exasperation through the door, hell, he could feel it radiating off of her. So, just to make matters worse for our poor girl, he opened his mouth and moaned in the most pornographic way he could muster, “Oh, Y/N!”

He waited for a response, and not less than a second after the words left his mouth, he heard a loud gasp and clumsy footsteps leading away from his room. Bucky threw his head back in silent laughter and grinned deviously to himself. Everything was going to plan…

That moment was still haunting Y/N. It was most definitely still haunting her as our girl has her hand stuck down her panties, her pointer and middle finger pumping furiously into her wet core. She had been going at it, laying in her bed, for the past 10 minutes and so far she was receiving jack shit. She was just about to give up when a knock came at her door, reviving a flame that had settled in Y/N for the time being. Her voice was sharp and uninviting as she yelled out: “Who the fuck is it?”

A low chuckle came as an answer, and Y/N was at a loss for words, her cheeks heating up as her mind immediately wandered to the morning incident. “Doll?” the smug bastard called out in an innocent, sing-song voice, “It’s me. Can I come in?”

Y/N thought to herself for a minute, did she really want him to come in? Maybe he had come there to settle the tension that had been building between them for the previous two weeks… lord knows it was about time… But it was too late for second thoughts because before Y/N could overthink what was about to happen any further, her legs had already carried her to the door and her hand was already on the handle, turning the knob and then opening the door to reveal a very smug looking Bucky. Damn you, subconscious movements. Y/N rolled her eyes at the sight of his infuriatingly happy face, a sharp sigh falling from her mouth. Bucky’s face faltered for a moment and his eyebrows furrowed in a playfully offended way, “Good to see you too, dollface. May I come in?”

Y/N rolled her eyes again, “Whatever, just don’t fuck anything up.”

Bucky chuckled but followed her into her room, taking note of the messy bed covers and the lack of pants on the girl in front of him. She had so been touching herself. Bucky took a seat at her desk as Y/N curled up on her bed, an expectant look on her face. “Well? What do you want?” she asked him, an impatient edge in her voice.

He sat in her chair silently for a few moments, eyeing her over, then he suddenly rose from his seat, and had her pinned to the mattress before she could even blink. His body was hovering over hers, Y/N’s hands trapped above her head, and Bucky’s steel blue eyes boring into her own. His voice was lower than she had every heard it when he spoke next, “I want you to drop the damn attitude. Understand, sweetheart?”

Y/N understood clearly, and, though a surge of defiance struck her, she calmed it and slowly nodded her head. Bucky smiled and his eyes darted to her lips as he spoke, “Good girl.” Then, his mouth molded with hers and the game began.

Their kiss was passionate, though their passion rooted from different seeds. Y/N’s was purely animal, raw need surging through her as she bit Bucky’s lip and grinded against his crotch. Bucky’s passion came from the desire to be in control. His was controlled and relaxed, his kisses calculated and thought through, just like everything else in his life. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he was playing off of Y/N’s lust and need. He was playing her like a fiddle, and they both knew it. Eventually, the kiss broke off and Bucky began to trail his lips down, planting kisses on her face and peppering her jaw, his teeth nipping at the taut skin of her neck and collarbone. His mouth didn’t go any farther than that, though, and this frustrated the everloving fuck out of our dear Y/N. So, she voiced her complaint: “Get a move on, you prick. What the hell are doing, huh?”

Bucky stopped his actions and tsked, his eyes adopting a playful glint as he grinned. “I’m playing with my food, baby. Get used to it, games are my specialty.”

She gasped, in an almost accusatory way, a fire lighting in her eyes. Y/N struggled momentarily against Bucky’s grasp on her hands, but gave up when she realized he truly was in control of her, and he wasn’t going to give up on his power as easily as she had hoped. Bucky got back to work, sucking marks on her skin and soothing them with his tongue, drawing hisses and gasps and moans from the helpless girl underneath him. He reveled in the power he had, how his mouth alone could create such angelic sounds and make a woman as strong-willed as Y/N squirm and whimper. He was in absolute heaven.

Not soon after Y/N began to grind her crotch against his, Bucky’s metal arm released it’s grasp on her right hand and began to trail down her front, goose bumps being left in it’s trail. Y/N gasped at the contrast in temperatures, her hot skin mixing deliciously with the coldness of the metal, the prosthetic limb biting her skin playfully. Bucky smirked at the reaction and continued his hands decent until he had reached her pelvic bone. There, he let his pointer finger trace a continuous circle on the spot where her hip bone jutted out, slowly testing the stormy waters that were Y/N’s patience and tolerance. She moaned though, to Bucky’s pleasant surprise, and almost whined out when she pleaded, “Bucky, please…”

The assassin couldn’t say no to that face. So, his metal limb snuck it’s way underneath the material of Y/N panties and quickly got to work on her pussy. First, he ran his pointer finger up her slit in a smooth path, collecting her wetness along the way. When his trail ended, he used the collected juice to lubricate her throbbing clit, and slowly began to trace circles on the sensitive nub with toe curling pressure. Y/N let out a low moan at the sensation, her now free hand grasping Bucky’s prosthetic arm like if she let go it would disappear. Bucky groaned at the sight, and decided he wanted to add a new factor to the game they were playing. He was going to make her melt with his words.

“Doll,” he started, his voice gravelly, “do you know what I was thinking about this morning when you caught me touching myself?”

Y/N’s breath caught in her throat and her voice came out as a whisper, “Y-you heard me?”

Bucky sunk his middle finger into her core and she gasped, her eyes rolling back in their sockets. He chuckled dryly, “Super soldier, babe. Now, tell me dollface, do you know what I was thinking about?”

Y/N bit her lip and shook her head. Bucky smirked, this was going to be fun. “I was thinking about how good it would feel to have your mouth wrapped around my cock, your eyes staring up at me innocently, your pretty pink lips going up and down, up and down. God, baby… you have no idea how pretty your moans would sound, muffled around my dick. I would grab your hair in my hands and fuck your mouth so good, darling” -Y/N moaned at that- “going in and out, deeper and deeper and deeper until I cum inside your throat. You would like that, wouldn’t you, baby? I bet you would, you naughty girl.” Bucky’s fingers pumped continuously faster as his words became lower, his mouth inching closer to her ear. The deep gravel of Bucky’s voice raised shivers on Y/N’s skin, and she was in absolute heaven.

A familiar burning sensation began to spread from Y/N’s lower back to her thighs and stomach, reaching as far as her toes. She began to subconsciously grind on Bucky’s fingers, desperate for her release, and Bucky was almost convinced to give it to her. But he needed her to wait just a little while longer…

“You know, love, I would adore the sensation of you cumming all over my fingers, but I think I need you to simmer just a little while longer…” and with those devastation words, Bucky slipped his fingers out of Y/N’s pulsating core, and was out of the room before Y/N could even sit up. With a devious smirk, Bucky sauntered down the hallway, sucking on his fingers and laughing silently. His shit-eating grin just grew as he heard an explicit line of swears leave Y/N’s mouth. This was too easy…

You were proud to say that college wasn’t kicking your ass as much as it probably could. You finished three of your four essays due, completed a project that was 35% of your final grade, and managed to study for at least 10 minutes in the passed week.

And now, here you lay, your laptop perched on the bed in front of you with Netflix pulled up in the screen and a large bag of Doritos beside you. Your well-earned reward — and you’re enjoying it, too. Well, until—

“Hey!” The bubbly brunette you fondly called your roommate plummets onto your bed before you register her presence, and the presence of her red headed girlfriend who trails in after. “Guess what?”

“You and Rose decided to take a spontaneous trip to Hawaii and leave me to watch Luke Cage?” You try with a wishful smile, knowing damn well what she was about to propose as soon as she pulled up her Twitter. “A party? Really?”

“Yes!” Jennie grins brightly, shoving the screen in your face. A tweet from the man himself, Jackson Wang, is on the screen, and you barely catch the words party and insane before she yanks it back. “Jackson is throwing another party this Friday and since there’s nothing too important coming up, I demand that you attend—”

“I don’t think so,” you laugh in disbelief, turning back to your relaxing setup. “No more parties for me—”

“Oh, come on,” Jennie’s face drops as she groans, slumping her body over your back dramatically — it was times like this that her fine arts major really came out. “The last party you went to was weeks ago! The last guy that you slept with was ages ago and it was terrible and it’s making you cranky—”

“I am not cranky!” You interrupt in indignation, eyes wide. At the pointed look that’s shot at you from both girls, you deflate. “That guy wasn’t that bad. What’s your point?”

“Our point,” Rose speaks with a furrow of her eyebrows, “is that since you slept with You-Know-Who—” Her eyes narrow warningly when your mouth opens to make a Voldemort joke— “You’ve been in a slump. And it’s making you angry at everything.”

“So you think I should go to a party to get wasted and fuck someone?” You retort, rolling your eyes, “I don’t think so.”

“You don’t have to get wasted,” Jennie whines, tugging at your arm. “Look, me and Rose are going too. We’ll stay with you until you get some nice piece of meat to play with—”

Ew—

“And then you can be happy and we’ll be happy because you’re happy!” She concludes with a cheeky grin.

You ponder her offer, swimming between whether or not you should listen to your ultracrepidarian best friend. Your hesitance shows obviously on your face, and Jennie pouts. “Please? I haven’t been to a party with my best friend in weeks—”

You sigh, pulling your arms from your grip and wriggling your body to roll Jennie off of your back. “Whatever, whatever. Can I watch this in peace now?”

Squeals and whatnot ensue, but you can only roll your eyes and push your earphones in further, grabbing another handful of Doritos.

Reggie x Reader: Fingers and thumbs, baby. (Epilogue)

A/N: SIKE BITCHEEEES. Y’ALL REALLY THINK I’D LEAVE IT LIKE THAT!? HELL NAH YOUR MOTHER HAS RETURNED TO PROVIDE LOVE YA XXX

Plot: When Reggie and (Y/N) have been bestfriends their whole lives but the universe had other plans.

Samantha stole another glance at the tall, gorgeous boy that seemed so keen on listening to everything that was coming out of their boring professor’s mouth. He was popular and friendly but still somehow remained a mystery, always kept to himself. Everybody was practically in love with him because aside from his well-built physique, friendly nature, and willingness to help those who need it he had this certain aura of vagueness around him which seemed to drag everyone in, makes them want to unlock more. As if there is so much more to be discovered aside from the glimpses of personalities he shows the world but nobody ever had the chance to be that close. Everybody knew him but at the same time nobody actually did.

When their professor finally ended his discussion Samantha stood up, ready to take the first step to become the first person to have the honor of actually knowing Reggie Mantle.

Or so she thought.

“H-Hey, Reggie?”

He looked at her before gracing her with a smile, making her heart beat twice as fast. “Hey, Samantha,” He adjusted his gym bag on his shoulders, probably preparing himself for his daily training. “Need anything?”

“Y-Yeah, actually, I was wondering,” she closed her eyes for a second to gather some courage. “Would you – would you like to get some coffee with me? Some time? If you’re not too busy.”

She swallowed as she waited for his response, afraid to look at his face for any sign of rejection. Then she heard a sigh and knew it was game over. She heard the stories, the rumors, how no one stood a chance because:

“Sorry, Sam,” Reggie really sounded sympathetic and she hated it. “I – I have someone –“

“I know.”  Samantha smiled, sadly, successfully cutting him off. She looked up at him despite the pain. “What a lucky girl.” She whispered more to herself than anything but Reggie seemed to hear it.

Reggie smirked before shaking his head. “You got it all mixed up, Sam.” Reggie said. “I’m the one who got lucky.”

He patted her head before walking away.

“W-What’s her name?” Samantha asked. Curious as to who got this beautiful boy’s fancy and got him hooked that he couldn’t even look at another girl ever again. Reggie’s mind immediately went to the memory of your smile, the way you’re hair danced messily in the wind when you were in the passenger seat of his car, the echo of your laugh in his room as you wore his shirt while running your hand across his hair, your beautiful 5 o’clock shadow as you stared outside the windows of Pop’s with the neon lights making you look ethereal and seraphic.

Samantha noticed that Reggie’s mind seemed to disappear to a happy place because he beamed, almost shining with happiness. Another glimpse, she thought, Reggie was really full of surprises and secrets.

“If I tell you, I might have to kill you.”

All the boys stared as Cheryl and (Y/N) walked together, with their arms crossed, talking quietly among themselves. How the meanest and nicest girls of the entire building managed to become bestfriends was beyond them but they would be lying if they say they weren’t a sight to behold. Especially (Y/N), known to be the kindest soul to ever grace their halls, who was always willing to extend a helping hand and always treat everybody with respect. A lot of boys tried to win her heart but none was very successful, in fact not qa single one even came close, because aside from the Red Widow by her side, a nickname she earned because of her careful yet poisonous words and her dedication to guard the little angel of New York University everybody gets the same response from her every time: a kind rejection. The kind of rejection that makes them feel bad for even trying and putting her through the dilemma of even rejecting them.

One poor soul gripped the bouquet of roses in his hands before daring to walk towards their table and try his luck, eyes on the back of (Y/N)’s head. He gave himself a mental pep talk trying not to chicken out but all of those words of inspiration and prayers were obliterated when he caught Cheryl’s eyes.

Cheryl seemed bored and emotionless, head resting on her palm, as she stared at another clueless boy trying to vouch for her bestfriend’s affection. She gave him the smallest glare, which usually meant ‘scram’ or ‘fuck off’, and smirked as she saw him make a 90 degree turn before walking out straight out the library.

“Cherry, stop scaring people.” (Y/N), who apparently wasn’t really focusing on her advanced reading, chuckled. “You’ll never get a boyfriend if you keep that up.”

Cheryl scoffed and flipped her long, almost fiery in this lighting, red hair. “Nobody deserves me, darling, and we both know it.”

“No we don’t,” You stared at her. “You should give them a chance.”

“That’s rich coming from you, sweetie.” Cheryl shot back making you blush. “Why don’t you give those unfortunate souls who are just begging for a glance from the angel of their dreams, a chance?”

You blushed even more. “You—I – You know I’m not into that, Cherry.”

“Uh-huh, yeah, who you tryna fool?” Cheryl smirked, crossing her arms across her chest and leaning back on her chair. “And please, he was carrying roses, how cliché right? The right man would know you’re more of a sunflower girl.” She smirked. “Too bad the right man is in a far far away kingdom.”

You managed to give her a glare despite the heat on your face but she just laughed at your effort in looking mad. You just rolled your eyes, heart beating a little too fast at the memory of him.

“I’m just, such a good friend.” Cheryl dramatically fanned her face, as if she was about to cry, speaking a little too loudly in the library. “That bastard better be fucking grateful and buy me a Victorian-inspired mansion for all my effort in making sure his lil’ lovebird doesn’t get snatched by worthless peasants.”

“Cherry stop,” you whined trying to remove the attention away from the two of you, knowing nobody would have the guts to try and make her quiet but you.

“I’m gonna guilt-trip him his whole life, you just wait.”

“We don’t even know if he is still single.”

“Oh, we know.”

“How? I mean have you seen him? Boy’s like that doesn’t stay single for very long time in college.”

“Because I know him, and that boy is about as gone for you as you are for him,” Cheryl stated confidently. “And if you weren’t sure he is single, why are you still rejecting everybody left and right? Unless …”

“You are crazy.” You shook your head, not wanting to feed yourself any more false hopes. You don’t even know where in God’s green Earth he was staying at right now. You haven’t talked for almost four years now. You could but you decided not to because getting a little taste of that heaven will make you want him and miss him more and you don’t want to be running back to him when you are this close to your goal. That reunion will have to wait, and it seems like he was thinking the same thing, too.

Is he treating himself well?

Is he surrounded by good people?

Is he happy?

Does anything remind him of you? Even for just a second?

“(Y/N),” Cheryl was staring at something in her phone, eyes wide in shock. Whatever it was must be something big to actually surprise Cheryl. Cheryl shoved her phone at you as you read the article about a certain raven-haired boy that just won the Nationals in Indiana. “Point six hundred million for Cheryl. God, I hate being right all the time”

You ignored her as you read how Reggie Mantle, the captain, basically carried the whole game towards their victory with his agility, strategy, and strength. You reread the last paragraph of the article:

Mantle is not only a spectacular athlete but he is also an outstanding student with his top marks which will result to the possibility of him graduating as the top of his class. How he managed to balance his responsibilities, Reggie Mantle gave us an answer that left more questions than answers:

“You could say I have a pretty solid foundation and inspiration.” He said with a grin. “Though she is probably studying hard in New York too.”

Who is this mysterious lady that snatched Reggie Mantle’s heart? The world may never know.

“Hey man,” Reggie returned back to Earth when he heard his roommate, soon to be ex-roommate, in their toga with a big grin on his face. “I’ll see you around, yeah?”

Reggie took his hands and gave him a half-hug and a pat on the back. “I’ll see you.”

Jake plopped down on his bed, one last time probably. “Can’t believe you’re going pro, man. That’s big.”

“I know,” Reggie chuckled, picking up a football from the ground. “Even I still can’t believe it.”

“Well, as for me it’s the boring old office work.”

Reggie gave him a look before throwing at him the football which he caught with a lot of effort. “Shut up, Jake, you got a girlfriend who’s smart. She got you.”

Jake smirked. “Yeah she’s still pretty bummed about not getting that journalism job. She really wanted it.”

“I can’t believe someone actually beat Janine. Must be some miracle.” Jake’s girlfriend, Janine, was like a machine when it comes to her studies. So it came as a shock to everyone when she came barging in their room crying about how she did not get accepted to her dream job.

“Yeah, she told me it was taken by some monster that graduated from New York,” Jake chuckled. “Kept whining how the world is unfair cause the said monster was drop dead gorgeous, smart, and is now holding her dream job by the neck on her first try.”

“Wai- wait, back up,” Reggie stood up. “Did … did Janine say what the name of this said New York monster was?”

Jake seemed to think for a second and Reggie was literally on his tiptoes from the suspense. “I forgot man, I guess it was (Y/N) or something? I forgot the last na—“

Jake was cut off by Reggie’s jaw dropping in shock before genuinely laughing. Throughout their four years of being friends Jake has never seen Reggie this happy, even during his championship game. Reggie looked at Jake who was looking at him as if he grew a second head.

“Holy shit! I’m so sorry, man.” Reggie laughed once more, patting his shoulders sympathetically. “In behalf of her, let me apologize.”

“What do you mean?” Jake asked, genuinely confused.

“The New York monster that took the job from your girl?”

“Yeah …”

“That’s my girl.”

You just finished face timing Cheryl that was now living in London for some business transaction and she couldn’t stop bitching about the rain ruining her hair, which, in turn, just gave you something to laugh about.

“Good morning, stranger,” your favorite barista greeted you as you leaned in the counter.

“Hello, outsider,” You greeted her back. “Can I get my regular and a muffin?”

“Oooh muffin, you’re being a rebel today, huh?” she snickered as she handed you your favorite drink and a fresh muffin.

“I like to remain unpredictable.” You said as you handed her the exact amount and placed a twenty on the tip box.

“See you tomorrow, outsider.”

“Yeah, yeah, whatever.”

You sighed as the hot drink touch your tongue, fucking heaven. As you were about to go in your car you felt a small tug on your coat. You turned around and saw a cute little kid that had gorgeous curly locks hiding a sunflower behind his back.

“Hey, there little bud.” You leaned down to minimize the distance between you and the kid. “Are you lost?” You looked around you. “Where’s your mum—“

You were cut off when he suddenly shoved you the sunflower in his handsand ran before disappearing right around the corner.

“What the …” You cracked a smile despite your confusion and saw a small card tied around the sunflower with a note that read:

There’s more from where that came from.

“What?”

Just as you were about to look for the little boy a tall figure suddenly appeared from your peripheral view. And just like in your wildest dreams, there he was: standing in front of you, beautiful as ever, holding a bouquet of sunflowers and wearing that smirk that made your stomach flip in the most beautiful way possible ever since you were kids.

“Reggie …”

Before you could utter another word he sped up his last two steps and cradled your face with his free hand for a kiss. A kiss, a kiss that you have imagined over and over again, a kiss that was foreign yet so goddamn familiar from the amount of times you have dreamt and daydreamed about it. A kiss from Reggie Mantle was all it took for your heart to beat the same irregular beats that was reserved only for him.

I took you a moment to recover from the shock but when you did you wrapped your hands around his neck and pulled him in deeper. You waited too long for this kiss and you never wanted it to end and he probably had the same thought in mind. But sadly, like everything amazing, it had to, or else you were gonna die from lack of oxygen.

Reggie leaned in your forehead and laughed just as you started to giggle. “I guess you missed me?” you whispered.

“You have no idea, pup.” You started tearing up, not believing that after all these years he was finally here in your arms, looking at you with the same dark eyes and intense gaze that makes you want to melt.

“I’m – “

“I love you.” Reggie made her forget her train of thoughts with those words. “If the kiss didn’t make it clear enough. I, Reggie Mantle, is in love with you and swears to be in love with you in this lifetime and the next.”

You couldn’t help but laugh. Pulling him in for another kiss. “Promise?” You offered him your pinky.

He laughed, crossing both of pinkies and pushed both of your fists and thumbs together.

“Promise.” He gave you another peck. “And, I believe you owe me a date.”

“Oh, do I now?” you teased, giggling when he tried to kiss your neck. “Where would you like to go?”

“I waited for years for this date, pup,” he said letting go of your face as he opted to wrap his arms around your shoulders as you wrapped yours around his waist. He gave you the bouquet which you held with your free hand. “I’ll go wherever the fuck you want.”

Breaking News! After dating for three years and being engaged in one, star football player, Reggie Mantle and his fiancé’ the award winning journalist and published author, (Y/F/N), has officially tied the knot in secret in their hometown, Riverdale, with only a chosen few people present, one note-worthy guest was Mrs. Mantle’s best friend, Cheryl Blossom, the CEO of Blossom Inc.  and world-renowned author of two award-winning novels in her spare time. It was said to be a big event despite the small town in Riverdale as stolen shots were taken of the grand wedding for the official photographs of the wedding was announced to be kept in private and not to be publicized in the request of the couple.

This power-couple had been best friends their whole lives and decided to tie the knot right after Reggie Mantle surprised his, now, wife with her dream house in California where they were rumored to finally settle. The couple is about to head into their 2-month honeymoon that will be spent in different cities around the world that they have planned to visit ever since they were kids.

After you’re done crying and emptying your box of tissue we dare you to find us a more perfect couple, we’ll wait.

(Y/N) was breathing in the fresh air from the morning breeze. She stared at the view from her balcony: the trees, the lake, and the city far, far away. Reggie really thought everything through when he built this house just for her. He built her a home where she is safe, contented, and happy and she could never thank him enough.

She jumped a bit when she felt a fluffy blanket, which turned out to be her robe, being wrapped around her by none other than her husband. Even after a year and a half of being married she still feels giddy thinking about Reggie being her husband. Finally.

“You okay?” Reggie whispered, afraid of breaking this serene moment as he hugged you from behind and gave you a peck on the side of your head.

You decided to face your husband and give him a proper good morning kiss, wrapping your arms on his waist as he wrapped his arms around you. “I feel perfect.” You nuzzled your face on his warm neck relishing on the comfort only he can give you. You looked up at him and saw him looking out at the view before turning his eyes on you making you wonder what you did in your past life to have a man like him to keep forever.

“We’re in love, aren’t we?”

He chuckled at your question before leaning hooking a stray hair in your ear. “I can’t speak for you but you got me pretty hooked, pup.” You looked up at him through your lashes to give him a glare as if to say ‘are you fucking kidding me?’ and Reggie grinned, the same boyish grin from when you were in Riverdale, giving you another kiss

“You don’t have to worry about that for a very, very long time, pup.” Reggie sighed, pulling you closer to him, as if that was possible.”Your heart won’t break around here. I’ll make sure of that.”

You squealed when he leaned down and hooked his arms at the back of your thighs and sat down, taking you in his lap. You watched as the sun rose quietly, sharing the morning coffee you made to help you get ready for the day, small kisses and giggles shared every now and then and in that exact moment you realized you could stay there forever and already find the life that was your definition of perfect

But then on cue you heard the familiar wailing of your two other babies on their bedroom making you giggle and Reggie groan, leaning on your shoulders. “Oh stop it, you were the one who was begging me for a baby.”

“I asked for one baby, pup. Just one, I’m blaming your fertile ass for this.” Reggie complained but was still ahead of you towards his babies room. He loved being a father and everybody knows it. When you were pregnant anxious would be an understatement when defining Reggie as he watched your every move and made sure you were eating only the best to make sure his babies would grow to become ‘as strong as me and as beautiful as their mother’. Heck, nobody could touch you without receiving a glare from Reggie which in turn would result to you smacking him in the head as he pouted but still continued to follow you around like a lost guard dog.

“Or we could blame you fucking me 12 times a day, every day? How about that?” You shot back.

“Hush, (Y/N/N), “ Reggie said as he cradled Cherry on his right arm and picked up the older twin, Jason, on the other. “My babies can hear you.”

“Oh they’re your babies now—“

“TOUCHDOWN BITCHES!” You heard the all too familiar slamming of the door open and Cheryl’s voice from below. “WHERE ARE MY DEAR DARLINGS?!”

“I can’t believe I actually gave that woman a spare key.” Reggie sighed, making you giggle. “Since when did she arrive from London?”

“Come on now,” you said as you took Cherry from Reggie making him pout. God, his daughter had him whipped. “Let’s go down before Cheryl wrecks havoc in here too.”

“I gotta share everything with her,” Reggie complained to a now sleeping Jason, as he went downstairs and saw Cheryl with a dollhouse and a toy car that looked too expensive and too realistic to be owned by a couple of 7 month old babies .”One day I’ll just snap and assassinate her, I swear to God.”

“I heard that, you ass!”

“You needed to hear it, satan!”

You couldn’t help but watch as Reggie and Cheryl bickered back and forth while Jason was silently sleeping in his crib and Cherry was babbling nonsense while sitting comfortably in your lap.

“Listen here Poison Ivy wanna-be, you’re spoiling my kids and they don’t even have the mental capacity to be spoiled yet.” Reggie complained.

“I am their godmother I can do what I want because I am richer than their father.”

“Excuse me,” Reggie seemed genuinely offended and you couldn’t help but laugh. ‘Who’s richer than who’ has been a small game in between Reggie and Cheryl, heck, even Archie, who is now an international song artist, and Moose who is an owner of a couple of successful gyms would join every now and then.

I guess nothing really ever truly changed. Reggie and Cheryl just can’t admit they love each other with a gun aimed at their heads, you were still hopelessly in-love with your husband, and he still looks at you as if you were the reason the sun continues to shine every morning. Only now you had two little angels to call your own and more money than you can spend.

Not bad for a shy girl from Riverdale who was secretly in love with her bestfriend.

You looked at your family, once more. Leaning back, placing Cherry on your chest, you sighed in contentment.

Not bad at all.

The Girl Made of Starlight

Beast!Adam x Reader

Prompt: What do you think of an imagine where the reader is Adam’s favorite character in a book, who he asks to see in the mirror at least once a day, slowly falling in love with her?

Note: Aaaaaaaah! <3 C U T E

Edit: I think I’m going to make this into a series? Someone please give me feedback? Thanks!

“It’s getting late, my little prince.” The kind queen chided her son as he sat upright in the bed. “I’m afraid it’s time for you to sleep now.”

“One more story! Please!” The young boy begged eagerly. After thinking for a long moment, the queen met the prince’s gaze. His eyes were sweet and blue, full on innocence. She sighed.

“All right, one more. And then, you must sleep. You have a big day ahead, you know.” Her smile was soft as she searched the small shelf in Adam’s room. What was there here that she hadn’t read to him yet? And then she found it.

It was an old book. One she hadn’t laid eyes on since she was at least a teenager. It had been a favorite of hers. The Girl Made of Starlight.

“Here’s one.” The queen sat down in the chair beside Adam’s bed. “I haven’t seen this book in a very long time.”

“Where was it?”

“Hiding, I suppose. Waiting for the right moment to make itself known. But nevertheless, the sooner we finish, the sooner you’ll be asleep.” She took a breath and opened the front cover. “Once, in the Kingdom of the Sun, there was a girl. To everyone around her, she appeared ordinary, boring and quaint. And as she grew up surrounded people who thought of her as nothing but standard, she began to believe that ordinary was all she ever was, all she could ever be. But that was not the case.”

“What was she?” Adam practically bounced with enthusiasm.

“Eager tonight, are we?” the queen smiled. “(Y/N) was truly more than just the daughter of the miller. She was a child of the stars.”

***

After reading a large portion of the book, the queen decided that it was getting far too late for her little prince to be awake given the events waiting for him the following day. So, despite his many, many protests, the queen placed a bookmark in her treasured favorite and put it on the shelf for another night.

But the queen never got to finish her story.

She soon fell to illness and became too sick to read. Soon after, she was gone. And as the kingdom grieved, the king became twisted. Her death was the end of him. And so was it the end of the Adam that was hopeful, the Adam that was kind.

Years later, when Adam had reached adulthood, came the curse that twisted him into an enormous, fearsome beast. The story of the star girl was long-forgotten. Adam spent years in isolation, wallowing in his misery. His selfishness had done this, his vanity. He had taken so much pride in his looks, in the beauty of the things he owned, and now that it was gone, he felt as though he had nothing.

As time passed, Adam ventured from his West Wing more and more. He didn’t want to gaze upon the cursed rose any more than he had to. It was only a reminder of his mistakes, of the grim deadline that hung over his head. The library became a refuge, a place where he could escape. The book the Enchantress had given him sat idle on his shelf, and instead, he found a home in literature. As he searched the shelf, something fell and hit the floor with a soft thud. He looked down, and there it was: The Girl Made of Starlight.

Adam slowly bent down and picked up the book with his massive paws. He brushed off the cover, and his blue eyes widened. Thoughts of his mother came rushing back to the surface. He was tempted to put the book back, to forget he had ever found it, but instead, he carried it over to the couch and began to read it.

Inside the pages of the book waited the story of (Y/N), the miller’s daughter, who was just about to discover she was not as normal as she had been raised to believe.

~Losing her mother had changed (Y/N). Every day, the glimmering star that hung around her neck only served as a reminder of the magnificent woman that had left her daughter behind. Her mother’s words were ingrained in her mind. With her last dying breaths, she had put the necklace around (Y/N)’s neck.

“Remember that there is light in everybody.” Her lips pulled into a frail smile as her husband and daughter sat beside her in tears. “And there is light in you. You don’t know it yet, but you will. No matter where you go, no matter how far you travel, I will always be with you.”

Iridessa squeezed (Y/N)’s hand as the life in her began to fade.

“You are a child of the stars. A beautiful girl with more power than you know.” She pressed a finger to the center of her chest and whispered a final goodbye as the life left her eyes. “I believe in you.”~

Adam took a deep breath and adjusted himself on the soft couch that sat beside the hearth. He had a feeling he would be there for a while.

***

Over the course of the week Adam had read the book at least twice a day, only taking brief breaks for meals and sleep. He was a man obsessed. He didn’t know why, but of all of the books in the library, this one had captured his attention better than anything he had ever read.

After finishing it for the tenth time, a strange idea occurred to him as he brushed past the enchanted rose that had doomed him to this fate, the wretched timer, an eternal reminder that his day was coming. Then, he would be stuck like this forever. Beside the rose sat the Enchantress’ mirror. The moment his eyes settled on it, he reached out for it.

He took a deep breath. This was stupid. This was a dumb idea. It would never work.

But what if?

“Show me…show me the girl made of starlight.”

The surface of the mirror rippled, and then there she was, just as the book had described. Her hair had flooded with white, and her silver eyes shone like stars. Her cloak of the sky was wrapped around her shoulders, and the necklace her mother had given her hung around her neck.

She was running. From what, he didn’t know, but at the sight of her, after watching her and realizing she was real…or at least, she was real somewhere, he almost dropped the mirror. He took a long, labored breath. She was real. She was actually real. And she needed help.

***

Days passed. Adam tried not to watch her too often, but it was hard not to. She was real. She existed, and he couldn’t shake the feeling that there was someone or something after her. She always seemed to be rushed. She had quick meals in little taverns, and took cautious sleeps at haphazard inns. She carried very little and showed her face to very few, most often keeping hidden in her large cloak of the sky.

With her, she kept very few things. Aside from her cloak and necklace, all she had with her was a map, a worn leather book of stories, and a pouch of coins. There was something about the book with her. Adam knew it was important to her, but he didn’t know why.

Perhaps it was why someone was chasing her.

Again, I kind of want to do a series on this, so feedback would be awesome. I love you guys <3

Sansa and her “Stark connection”

Since the fandom is always saying how Sansa is not a Real Stark ™    I wanted to  make a post in which I explain why Sansa, born in the Winter (unlike Arya or Bran or Rickon born in the long Summer), in Winterfell (unlike Jon or Robb born in the south) will always be a Stark ( no Lannister or Baelish or whatever…), no matter who she is forced to marry (to survive I might add..).

In AGOT Sansa (before her father died, and when she was meant to marry joffrey) is already very proud of her Stark origins.

Alyn carried the Stark banner. When she saw him rein in beside Lord Beric to exchange words, it made Sansa feel ever so proud.

While prefering The Seven (like her mother) she does admire the poetry of the old gods.

Besides, even if she could leave the castle, where would she go? It was enough that she could walk in the yard, pick flowers in Myrcella’s garden, and visit the sept to pray for her father. Sometimes she prayed in the godswood as well, since the Starks kept the old gods.

By the time she reached the godswood, the noises had faded to a faint rattle of steel and a distant shouting. Sansa pulled her cloak tighter. The air was rich with the smells of earth and leaf. Lady would have liked this place, she thought. There was something wild about a godswood; even here, in the heart of the castle at the heart of the city, you could feel the old gods watching with a thousand unseen eyes.

While she is called little bird, or little dove (when people want to undermine her), she is called wolf  too.

Tyrion found himself thinking of his wife. Not Sansa; his first wife, Tysha. The whore wife, not the wolf wife.

“Your Grace has forgotten the Lady Sansa,” said Pycelle.

The queen bristled. “I most certainly have not forgotten that little she-wolf.” She refused to say the girl’s name.

And Sansa herself when she is in put  a hard position takes courage in her Stark origins. Its something that gives her  strength:

Do as you’re told, sweetling, it won’t be so bad. Wolves are supposed to be brave, aren’t they?

“Brave. Sansa took a deep breath. I am a Stark, yes, I can be brave.

"Winterfell?” Robert was small for eight, a stick of a boy with splotchy skin and eyes that were always runny. Under one arm he clutched the threadbare cloth doll he carried everywhere.

Winterfell is the seat of House Stark,” Sansa told her husband-to-be. “The great castle of the north.”

“Do you require guarding?” Marillion said lightly. “I am composing a new song, you should know. A song so sweet and sad it will melt even your frozen heart. ‘The Roadside Rose,’ I mean to call it. About a baseborn girl so beautiful she bewitched every man who laid eyes upon her.

I am a Stark of Winterfell, she longed to tell him. Instead she nodded, and let him escort her down the tower steps and along a bridge.

Petyr put his arm around her. “What if it is truth he wants, and justice for his murdered lady?” He smiled. “I know Lord Nestor, sweetling. Do you imagine I’d ever let him harm my daughter?

"I am not your daughter, she thought. I am Sansa Stark, Lord Eddard’s daughter and Lady Catelyn’s, the blood of Winterfell.

"As was bringing me here, when you swore to take me home.”She wondered where this courage had come from, to speak to him so frankly. From Winterfell, she thought. I am stronger within the walls of Winterfell.

I will tell my aunt that I don’t want to marry Robert. Not even the High Septon himself could declare a woman married if she refused to say the vows. She wasn’t a beggar, no matter what her aunt said. She was thirteen, a woman flowered and wed, the heir to Winterfell.

.His seamed and solemn face brought back all of Sansa’s memories of his time at Winterfell. She remembered him at table, speaking quietly with her mother. She heard his voice booming off the walls when he rode back from a hunt with a buck behind his saddle. She could see him in the yard, a practice sword in hand, hammering her father to the ground and turning to defeat Ser Rodrik as well. He will know me. How could he not? She considered throwing herself at his feet to beg for his protection. He never fought for Robb, why should he fight for me?

From the high battlements of the gatehouse, the whole world spread out below them. Sansa could see the Great Sept of Baelor on Visenya’s hill, where her father had died. At the other end of the Street of the Sisters stood the fire-blackened ruins of the Dragonpit. To the west, the swollen red sun was half-hidden behind the Gate of the Gods. The salt sea was at her back, and to the south was the fish market and the docks and the swirling torrent of the Blackwater Rush. And to the north …She turned that way, and saw only the city, streets and alleys and hills and bottoms and more streets and more alleys and the stone of distant walls. Yet she knew that beyond them was open country, farms and fields and forests, and beyond that, north and north and north again, stood Winterfell.

but personally my favorite line about Sansa being always a Stark and belonging North in Winterfell  (Never a Lannister! , no matter who she marries) is this quote by Ned:

When it was over, he said, “Choose four men and have them take the body north. Bury her at Winterfell.”

“All that way?” Jory said, astonished.

“All that way,” Ned affirmed. “The Lannister woman shall never have this skin.

Sansa whole story (to me) is about her journey retaking her Stark origins which were stolen from her in the worst of way, just like they killed her wolf Lady. But just like Lady remains, Sansa place is and always will be in the north, as a Stark of Winterfell.

Maybe it was Archie’s sudden moment of silence, taking a break from his preppy speech or the fascinated sounds escaping Veronica’s lips, but something had caught their attention and Jughead was curious for the cause.

‘’Well, she’s a sight for the eyes.’’ Veronica remarked, a smile forming on her lips.
