Moffat said recently that Clara was no longer the apprentice, she had “sort of become the Doctor”. But audacious doesn’t even begin to cover him following through on that all the way. This is where we leave Clara Oswald, zipping around time and space in her own Tardis, with her own companion Ashildr, stuck in the moment between two heartbeats, accepting of her fate, but taking her sweet time about it along the way. Crucially, she turned the Doctor’s duty of care back onto him, flip-reversing the nature of Donna Noble’s exit years ago. In ostensibly killing off his companion, Moffat delivered possibly the most upbeat ending we’ve ever seen.
Okay so today at
school I was sitting in the hallway between classes and this girl
comes walking down the hall all confident and pretty. She was
wearing this dress with all kinds of spangled colors and designs on
it. So obviously, every person in the hall—including me—was
looking at her.
All except for this
little bookworm with her nose deep in a Harry Potter book. I could
tell that this girl had a Tumblr, too. She had a TARDIS necklace and
a hat that had Death the Kid’s Sanzu lines on it. So immediately I
felt a connection to said bookworm.
So pretty girl is
walking down the hall and suddenly she takes notice of the bookworm
because she’s the one person that isn’t looking at her. She walks
straight up to the bookworm and says “Hey!”
The bookworm looks
up and says “What?”
Pretty girl is
silent for a moment, then says “Don’t you like my dress?”
Bookworm says “Yeah,
sure.” You can tell that she really wants to get back to her book.
Pretty girl says
“Then why didn’t you look at it?”
At this point I was
beginning to think that Pretty girl was a huge b, but then the
bookworm says “Why do you want everyone to look at you?”
And Pretty girl says
“So I can feel good, duh.”
Bookworm says “So
the only way for you to feel good is for you to put yourself at the
center of attention?”
Pretty girl goes
silent for a second, then says “Yeah. Are there any other ways?”
At this point I’m
thinking oh my gosh, this poor girl. She must feel terrible about
herself every single day.
But then the
bookworm looks her straight in the eye for the first time and says
“I’d feel better living in the background of Harry Potter than
being the center of attention here.” And then she gathers her
stuff and walks away; Pretty girl is left standing there watching her
walk away. And in that moment I knew that Pretty girl was going to
go home and read the Harry Potter books.
Amy: “When I was a kid I had an imaginary friend. The Raggedy Doctor. My Raggedy Doctor. But he wasn’t imaginary. He was real. I remember you. I remember! I brought the others back, I can bring you home too. Raggedy Man, I remember you and you are late for my wedding! I found you. I found you in words like you knew I would. That’s why you told me the story. The brand new ancient blue box. Oh clever, very clever. Something old. Something new. Something borrowed. Something blue.”
You and your best friend woke up late this morning. Which lead you two stumbling in and catching everyone’s attention, especially Jareds.
“You girls are tardy! Detention for the both of you.” Jensen exclaimed, causing everyone to belt out in laughter.
Your best friend pointed to you and sighed. “It’s not my fault she put her alarm for 7 PM and not the morning.”
You felt the blood rush up to your cheeks as the boys chuckled from the statement. For months, you have waited for this moment. To meet and see the boys in person. Never did you imagine it would be like this.
Jared was mesmerized immediately as he saw you walk in the room. Your eyes, your smile, every aspect of your features captivated him. Sure he’s seen countless of beautiful girls, but he was never blown away like this.
As you and your best friend settled into your seats, Jensen returned his attention to the audience. “Alright, where were we before we were rudely interrupted.” He teased. “Ah right, we were talking about our flight and how this big guy had to sit between these two buff dudes. It was hilarious!”
Jared tried to keep his attention to Jensen, but he couldn’t. His eyes averted to you, every chance he got.
You were so overwhelmed with excitement of the weekend, you didn’t notice he was staring, until….
“Right Jared?” Jensen muttered. He snapped his fingers in his face. “Yo, Earth to Jared. Anyone home?”
Jared cleared his throat, and turned his gaze to his costar and best friend. “Sorry. I guess I’m still tired from the flight.” He chuckled.
As the morning went on, and the hour was coming to an end, you and Jared had shared glances more times, you lost count.
“Dude-” your best friend nudged your side. “You two need to get a room. Seriously, all that bedroom eye stare is beginning to make me gag.” She teased.
You rolled your eyes as the blood rushed up to your cheeks. “Shut up. He isn’t looking at me.” You muttered. Though you didn’t believe yourself.
“Stop lying to yourself. I had to sit here and watch you two for almost an hour.”
You felt your stomach flutter. If she noticed it, then it had to be true. Jared Padalecki was staring at you.
“Thank y'all for coming out. J and I appreciate each and every one of you.” Jared muttered.
“Yea, we couldn’t have done any of this without you, so thank you.”
The boys waved goodbye and made their way off the stage. The crowd slowly emptied out to the lobby, leaving you and your best friend.
“Oh my god, I lost my earring!” Your best friend screeched.
She held on to her ear, scanning every inch of her seat and the area around.
“Maybe it’s back in the room?” You exhaled, helping her look.
“No, I remember putting it on while we were walking in.” She stated. “We have to find it. My mom is going to-”
“Is this what you’re looking for?” A familiar voice mumbled from behind.
Both you and your best friend snapped your gaze back, and was immediately taken aback.
“Holy shit. Y-your-” your best friend couldn’t believe her eyes. The actor she watched for ears was now only a few feet away from her. “Jared Padalecki!”
You shook your head, and nudged her side. “I’m sure he knows who he is.” You mumbled.
Jared let out a soft chuckle, as he glanced at her then back at you. “I actually thought I was Jensen Ackles.” He laughed. “Thank you for clarifying who I really am.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his sarcastic remark.
He had your best friends earring in his hand. “I think this belongs to you.”
She nodded, her smile not once fading. “Oh god! You’re a life savor!” She retrieved the earring and threw her arms around him. “Thank you!”
“No problem.” He exhaled.
“I’m Y/F/N and this is-”
“Y/N.” You interrupted.
The moment you said your name, Jared locked his gaze with yours and felt his stomach flutter. “It’s nice to meet you.” His voice was almost a whisper.
He cleared his throat, shoving his hands deep into his pockets. “I should go. Have to get ready for Photo Ops.” He said with a cheeky grin. “I hope to see you there.”
His eyes never left yours, until your best friend forced a cough.
“I hope to see the both of you.” He stated.
“We’ll be there.” Your best friend assured him.
He nodded his head and flashed a smile. “Great. I can’t wait.”
As he made his way back to the room where the others were, he couldn’t stop from smiling.
“Dude, he was definitely flirting with you.” She cackled. “I can’t wait to see you. Oh Y/N you’re so beautiful!” She teased, pretending to be Jared.
You rolled your eyes. “Shut up. It wasn’t like that at all.”
You and your friend made your way out to the lobby. “Now, if Jensen would notice me, it’d be perfect!”
Jared made his way into the room, bumping into his costar. “Sorry man.” He muttered.
“Damn. Still in fantasy land?” Jensen grunted. “Did you talk to her? Or did you chicken out?”
Jared let out a soft chuckle. “I talked to her. And she was even more beautiful up close.” He muttered.
Jensen scrunched his face. “Alright, enough with the chick flick moment. Did you get her number?”
He shook his head, and shrugged his shoulders. “No. I got to nervous. Which is really weird.”
J let out a sigh as he punched the bridge of his nose. “God, you’re such a baby.” He groaned. “I’ll be back.”
Before Jared could say anything, Jensen turned his back and left the room. Leaving Jared to his thoughts. His heart began to pound profusely as the thought of Jensen going up to you made him nervous.

↳ 1/? - Clara Oswald“Listen. This is just a dream. But very clever people can hear dreams. So please, just listen. I know you’re afraid. But being afraid is all right. Because didn’t anybody ever tell you? Fear is a super power. Fear can make you faster, and cleverer, and stronger. And one day, you’re going to come back to this barn, and on that day, you’re going to be very afraid indeed. But that’s okay. Because if you’re very wise and very strong, fear doesn’t have to make you cruel or cowardly. Fear can make you kind. It doesn’t matter if there’s nothing under the bed, or in the dark, so long as you know it’s okay to be afraid of it. So listen. If you listen to nothing else, listen to this. You’re always going to be afraid, even if you learn to hide it. Fear is like…a companion. A constant companion, always there. But that’s okay, because fear can bring us together. Fear can bring you home. I’m going to leave you something, just so you’ll always remember - fear makes companions of us all.”
