Sometimes I struggle to watch stuff that I’ve done and sometimes I don’t, and I’m sure that my judgment is based on whether I feel like I accomplished what I set out to accomplish. When I’m inside the character, I feel like I’m a different person, and then when you see that character on screen and I see that it’s me, I find that disappointing.
There is an essence of Stella, that is a throughline throughout the whole series, and it is self-confidence and a level of femininity and responsibility to herself and her sexuality that is foreign to us somehow for some reason. develop her own opinion of the people that she worked for, and she got
stronger. Think she’s now much stronger. In the beginning she wanted to
believe she was strong but sometimes she faltered.
