The next four years (at least) of America are going to be run by a man who’s entire campaign was based on hateful/racist rhetoric.
I don’t think we can meet his hate with more hate. I think we all need to follow this quote from Martin Luther King Jr:
“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”
And also this:
Match his hate with your love.
Match his anger with your patience.
Match his darkness with your light.
Be better than him.
Be better than those who voted for him.
Do not let yourself become defined by the negativity which has defined his campaign and in all likelihood will define his presidency.
