First of all, I’m not a native speaker, so please excuse my horrible grammar.

For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, this is the post I mean:

My comment was extremely stupid, and I had no idea what I was doing as I typed it.

The most important thing I want to get out there before i continue is, I AM NOT A DOCTOR, please don’t diagnose yourself based on my comment. If you actually think that you might have RLS, please go see a real doctor since it is a serious problem.

Over 30.000 people have reblogged this post up until today and I feel horrible for making so many people think they suffer from this illness, mostly because I was completely wrong. Simply just ‘shaking their leg’ is in no way a sign of this Syndrom. Once again, i am not a doctor and not a native speaker, so i won’t try to explain what RLS is, since there is a risk I will mess it up again. Please check out this website for more information, there is also a test here which you can do before you go see a doctor (but please don’t use it instead of a doctors advice).

Many people have been getting angry at me, which I completely understand. It was dumb and foolish of me to post such an extreme medical advice on something I have no idea about. I also want to excuse myself to the people who actually suffer from restless leg syndrome, it was in no way my intention to make your illness seem less relevant, or less real, making it look like everyone who is shaking their leg suffers from it. I have also been getting complaints because I but apostrophes around the term Restless leg syndrome, since it makes it look like people just make that illness up, which they obviously don’t. Once again, I am very sorry about this and it was not my intention.

I could continue writing about this forever, but I can basically just say that I fucked up tremendously and that I’m extremely sorry. Feel free to contact me if you are in need of a personal apology or explanation!

What Is Restless Leg Syndrome?

We all get a jittery after sitting still for too long. But some people experience an irresistible urge to move their legs, and it can seriously affect their daily lives.

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) Victims?

Do any of you have a bad case of RLS? I’ve had it since I was a kid, but it’s been significantly worse over the past few months and now it’s incredibly painful and prevents me from getting to sleep. I’ve tried baths, heating pads, socks, walks, stretches, Naproxen, Ibuprofen, Tramadol, and whatever else I can think of. NOTHING WORKS.

So can anyone recommend good at home remedies along w/ a non-script muscle relaxer that might work.
