I’m going to write a short story about why I’m okay with spending over 100$ on this package and why I believe there are still good people out there.
about a year ago I was at a dead end job, a dead end relationship, and depression was probably the only thing that consumed my brain. The only thing that kept me sane was going to local shows around the Southern California area. Last October Coke Bust was playing at a local joint called Aladdin Jr.’s in pomona and right down the street at The Glasshouse The Andrew Jackson Jihad was playing with Into It. Over It. The Coke Bust show was running on punk time so I decided to go check out the opening acts of the AJJ show and loved it.
I noticed the Into It. Over It. booth was ran by Evan and I saw his ‘Dropdead’ shirt and loved it, I was telling him about how I skipped over the late running coke bust show to see this and was probably going to head over there after I bought his shirt. I looked at my wallet and noticed I didn’t have enough money for both. I decided to buy his shirt and bypass the show, Evan then told me to hang out for a sec and he can take me to the coke bust show for free. And he did.
this was one of the most genuinely nice things any complete stranger has ever done for me and really changed the way I looked at the world in a way. I still haven’t forgot that a year later and I’ve really turned everything around a better job and better relationships and depression is an afterthought.
Evan if you see this, I just wanted to say thanks bro. you really helped out a kid in california a year ago. and I’ll always support you and your music projects no matter what.
We’re extremely excited to announce that we’ll be going out on a full US tour this winter with Into. It. Over. It and The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die! You can find all the dates below:

Flipping through the pages of our diary, a memoirs worth of messages from you and me. Both good and bad advice recalling should-haves and could-haves, a distance from both of our worst enemies. On this page Mississippi John Hurt plays with a hand on your neck and a hand around my waist. It causes trouble and I’ve had it all with these slow dancing Sundays. Some red wine, a summer dress, a pair of hand-rolled cigarettes. We’re descriptive to keep with descriptions, we’re convicts to lack of conviction. So… Skip to the back and read the index. Put your trust in the dust sleeves of hardbacks cause it’s as fleeting as the feeling of being eighteen again. I’ve turned the tables, it’s your house in Georgia now. We’re seeming stable despite mistakes that we’d allow Can’t blame the past this time around. So please don’t make a sound cause I’m shaking hands with common sense. I’m bridging gaps from innocence to versed, I’m telling you, we’re cursed. Flipping through the pages our diary…
