“Lay the nets flat here,” Blackbeard ordered his crew. “And don’t tangle them, make them look pretty for our guests.”
“This isn’t going to work,” you muttered and folded your arms. “Mermaids are only a legend.”
Blackbeard ordered a few of his crew members to light the lighthouse and he remained by your side since you’re going to attract the mermaids. “Now, Y/N, the mermaids are going to need help to find us and have one singer isn’t going to help.”
You faced the longboat where Scrum and the others were located under the light of the lighthouse. You frowned in pity and felt a firm hand on your elbow. Blackbeard pulled you towards the bridge until you were at the edge.
Joshamee Gibbs: “So the Pearl. Any idea on how to get her out?” Jack Sparrow: “We shall need a crossbow, an hourglass, three goats, one of us must learn to play the trumpet, whilst the other one goes like this. [waves his fingers]” Joshamee Gibbs: “I know a man with a goat.” Jack Sparrow: “Good, I can go like this. [waves his fingers]”
I think on stranger tides is the weakest potc movie but I also think the scene at the beginning where Jack meets Barbossa is great.
I remember sitting in the cinema and watching Barbossa tell jack Black Pearl is gone, and Jack losing it. It’s a powerful scene if you watched the other potc movies, because then you know that he never lost it like this before. Jack, who sold his soul for that ship, who died with that ship and got resurrected with that ship. It was his beloved ship and not only did he lose it to Barbossa for the second time - Barbossa lost her. It’s one of my favourite scenes in the franchise.
Aw, Barbossa. The main reason why I saw POTC 4. (Sorry, Jack.) I love anything that has to do with pirates. Even collect things with skull and crossbones because of this. But let me say, drawing pirates? A pain. Like I’ve said before, they have too much stuff on! It’s never a simple dress or a clean three piece suit. No, it’s shirts on shirts with coats on coats and the belts! Oh, the belts. I don’t know if I will get back to coloring this. As of now, I like it as a simple drawing. I’ll probably keep it that way.
