She Isn't Yours, Jerome.

Then since Jim is the reader’s dad he and Bruce go rescue her. Once they do the reader is relieved and cries in Bruce’s arms because she was really scared and she’s just really glad to see both of them. Sorry this is long and thank you in advance!

Fandom: Gotham!Bruce Wayne x Reader

Note: this is in the reader’s point of view. it includes kidnapping, a bit of violence i think, swearing & this is sort of a rusty imagine and i have no idea why i left this one shot to write last in my requests list. whoops !!

Bruce and I went out to the movies. It’s been a while since he’d done something like this, after what happened to his parents on a night he would never forget. A night of enjoying time with your family. Neither Bruce and I wanted to go home yet. There was an arcade and a snack bar that was open for an hour left, so we went there after the film was over.

We came in partway through the crowd of people and I hand a twenty dollar bill to Bruce. “You said you wanted more burgers, right?”

Bruce stutters, “B-but that’s the last o-of your-”

“Shhhhhh!” I hissed. I know he’s rich and Alfred already provided him almost anything to the movies and even advised him to not go down the same alley, or any alley, I gave him the money anyways. “Well none of the game machines will accept dollar bills.”

“Not even the pinball machine?” he pouts like a little kid.

“Nah, Bruce. Not even the pinball machine. But hey! I got spare change here,” I patted my pocket. “I’ll go save a game for the both of us, you can buy more food.”

“Really? Your dad won’t get mad?”

“He would get mad if I stole money or if I spoke to strangers and receive candy from them. It’d be hard for him to handcuff his daughter and take her to the slammer if she was caught with drugs.”

“Gee, Thanks.” He takes a moment before kissing me. He then left.

My father, the infamous Detective James Gordon, would actually be pretty pissed. But this is a date and Bruce paid for the tickets, two giant bags of popcorn and a giant soda.

Can’t believe he had room for burgers.

The pinball machine was vacant, the red lights flashing from the bulbs caught my attention. I started laughing when I recalled a memory of Bruce losing a round. I hoped Bruce wouldn’t take long with the food because I enjoy competition.

“Care for a game of pinball?” a voice crept up without notice and I almost dropped the coins in my hand. I looked around with a relieved laugh.

“Bruce, did you just hit puberty and deepened your voice-”

My heart dropped. Bruce was in line, many feet away from me, from the arcade. He was so far away I could see him as tiny as a thumb. I pushed a leg forward after standing frozen in my tracks. The voice sounded nothing like a ghost, and I followed where it was coming from.

To my right the arcade had two walls connecting, forming an emergency exit in the corner so dark that you couldn’t see a thing. The workers didn’t think to add a bit of light or something or the glowing exit sign.

All I wanted to hear is Bruce saying in a cheery voice, “Two burgers coming right up!” I couldn’t help picturing who or what just called my attention. The voice sounded so creepy, sounded like a snake. Not one voice I would have dreamed of before knowing Bruce.

“You hanging in there, doll face?” there it was again, the voice asked again in the pitch black corner. “I can beat you in a game of pinball. Just one game.” He sounded like a dealer whispering to you in a dark alley.

I shake my head. Probably some jerk trying to flirt with me and lure me towards him. I did however march towards the dark. I knew how to fend for myself when it came to jerks who try to flirt with me and girls who try to flirt with Bruce.

“Who are you- mmmmpghh!!

An arm swung around me, the other smashing my face. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t scream for help, for Bruce’s name. A cloth was pressed against my face and they wouldn’t let go. No oxygen, but something else. I felt like I was in a real life horror movie and I knew I wasn’t winning.

“Mmmmpgh!! B-mmmmphh!” Bruce! Help me!

I don’t know how long it takes for someone to pass out from chloroform. But my eyes were shutting and before I blacked out, my body feeling suddenly light, I could see Bruce running towards me but it was far too late.

I woke up and the first thing I notice is the foul smell fuming everywhere, wherever I was. I couldn’t move my hands to even touch my face because they were tied around the arms of a chair.

Great! Either I’m stuck in some unfunny prank pulled by someone I know I’m gonna beat up or get my dad to arrest, or I’m actually in a real life situation of kidnap, in which my dad can take care of as well.

“Bruce?” I wept. “Bruce? Are you there? Anyone?”

There was a slight pause, and then the loud echoes of footsteps clanking slowly toward me, then the sound of maniacal cackling. Light hit the ceiling and my eyes were adjusting the crates, forklifts and boxcars around me. I’m in a warehouse.

But the person who I was with wasn’t Bruce. This wasn’t a prank. How do I know? Because the person who kidnapped me isn’t really much of a pranker, but a wanted psychopath.

“Yes,” Jerome Valeska said. “I’m here.”

I screamed. “My dad is gonna be here soon, as well as my boyfriend, and they’re gonna whoop your ass!” I felt confident, but I didn’t know who was coming or if anyone has any idea where I am.

“But  … I’m your boyfriend,” says Jerome, twirling his finger around as if he thinking.

“Over my dead body! Me being with you is just completely insane!” Bruce and I watched kidnapping movies, and he has been kidnapped before. I haven’t and now I can. I can just imagine and feel how any other victim must of felt.

“Oh doll, you know you don’t belong with that millionaire prince of Gotham. That little brat. Bruce Wayne,” he sneers his name. “You belong … with me!”

“Why me? What do you want with me?” I whimpered.

Jerome smiles. “Where do I begin? For starters, you’re damn beautiful,” he comes too close in contact with my face, hissing in my ear. I shrink in my seat as he tugged my hair. “-secondly, I could use a little twinkie like you-”

I held in my gasp.

“And THIRD!” he raised his voice. “The nerve of you, my sweet girl, to not come running into my arms! What does Bruce have that I don’t have? Wealth. Love. Y/N.”

My spine held chills when he said my name. How did he even know my name? How did he know I was dating Bruce?

“So there you have it.”

“You are just jealous of Bruce.”

He screams, “You’re mine! You belong with me!”

“You think anyone in Gotham believes that? Because there is such thing as delusion.” I gawked a bit and spat in his face.

He is taken back before licking the saliva and tasting it. I cringe.

“That was strangly pleasant,” he curls his lips in amusement before smirking and coming close to my face again. “Do it again!”

The grey door busts open.

“Stop!” someone called out. It was like heaven was revealed in front of my eyes. I had so many questions. I saw the boy I loved running towards me and Jerome along with my dad and a few other force members armed with guns running in with yells.

I almost wept.

“She’s not yours, Jerome!” Bruce screams. “You’re busted!”

“Yeah … no- argh!” Jerome was tackled down by a cop before he could say another word.

“You don’t even know the first thing about her,” Bruce sneers watching Harvey Bullock hold Jerome on the floor, handcuffing him. From afar I could still see Jerome staring him down with the nastiest look.

My dad releases me from the restraints and I was so weak that I practically fell in my dad’s arms. “Daddy!” I haven’t called him that ever since I was five. “How did you-”

“Bruce found you.” I landed on my knees and hands and crawled to Bruce as he bent to embrace me.

He sighs, holding me tight. “When I saw you out the theater I followed you, and saw you being carried into a black car so then I got Alfred to call the GCPD to track down the licence plate.”

I didn’t say anything, I just let him hold me as tears prickled in my eyes. I blink them shut before Bruce wiped them away with his sleeve.

“Can I say one thing?” he says.

“Okay.”

“I still have the burgers from the snack bar,” Bruce said. “We can still eat them. And I gave the change to your father. He’s kinda mad about the amount you gave up.”

Just random shots of my room…

BH6, and then my other great loves The Iron Giant and The Lion King (Guard).

And some Pokemon and a Tiny Toons thing that was in some bins my dad gave me.

And Baymax with his new friends, of course.

At least someone has friends around here. 😒🙃

Actually lost the Iron Giant DVD (after unsuccessfully trying to get my family to appreciate it where it sadly spent 7 years in an unloved state in my hope chest in my shitty stepsister’s (she was a druggy that made my dad’s and stepmoms life miserable and abandoned her sons 🖕) room while I laid low in WA) and put my Iron Giant re-release ticket in it. 😆 🖖👍

So today me and my dad were at the mall/arcade after seeing my grandparents but we only had a few minutes to play :c We got to play air hockey like I wanted but then I had to spend the rest of my points really quickly. So I looked around and decided to do that giant ticket spin so I could hopefully get enough for a small piece of candy at the prize shop. There were lights all around it and the light would spin really fast and you had to try to hit it on the points…there were 4 bulbs each on the 80/60/40/20 points and only 1 bulb on the 1000 points. I decided to aim for the 80 points but I guess I hit the stop button way too early because…it landed further down on the 1000 points????????? I didn’t understand at first because they don’t do tickets anymore, the ticket ‘points’ just go wirelessly on your card (booo). But there’s a little screen that says the points you got and it goes in intervals like…1, 23, 45, 67, etc and it kept getting higher and higher and I was like omg I hit 1000???? And then when it got to like 800 on the screen the machine started making a blaring noise and I was like omg stop people are gonna stare at me lol. My dad was in the bathroom so I didn’t outwardly freakout since I was standing there by myself, but I was like AJDKKAFJJAKJDJJAJDJAJKDJKA inside! I couldn’t believe it, things like that never happen to me!! And I wasn’t even really trying????? Then I went to the prize shop but they didn’t really have that good of a selection..I thought this Pikachu looked cute though so I chose him :D I also got a big Laffy Taffy too yay!

Hearing!verse prompt: meeting the parents. Both Kurt and Blaine. :) ****

Kurt’s not exactly sure how they’ve managed to be in a relationship for over seven months without him formally meeting Blaine’s parents. He’s met Mrs. Anderson once, over the summer when he’d picked Blaine up for a concert, but they’d been running late and hadn’t had time for more than a quick hello. He’s seen her over Skype whenever he shows up early for their standing Friday night date and Blaine’s still in the middle of a phone call home. He knows that Mrs. Anderson is a gorgeous signer and envies how fluid she is. She looks like a natural, unlike himself, whose hands still get caught awkwardly around the more complicated signs.

30 Seconds To Mars experiment

There’s no need to introduce this band. Most of you probably heard their songs, some of you probably know the frontman - Jared Leto. 30 Seconds To Mars is this kind of band that everyone knows, but most prefer not to talk about it. You can hate it or you can love it or maybe make fun of it, but you can’t pass by without noticing.
I need to tell you, I’m not a music critic. I never had any education in this direction, I’m just a simple music lover, a fan, a normal person like you.
I’ve decided to make a social experiment to explore the 30 Seconds To Mars phenomenon.

The band is nothing special, their music is a simple mix, something between pop and rock. Perfect combinantion for all the radiostations around the world. Following the band’s discography I have to say that in my opinion they downgraded their music and it’s really visible. On the beginning their songs, now called “old school Mars” were great rock, maybe it wasn’t really great rock, but it was harsh, loud and not mainstream. The new album, Love Lust Faith + Dreams is totally mainstream, hitting the charts with pop-rock beats and very good vocals. They went into totally different direction and somehow, someway they lost the special something. I’m not saying they don’t have talent. They do. Jared’s voice is amazing and to hear it loud and clear you have to attend the gig. But still, for me this is not right.
So what’s the big deal? Why they are so different? Why people love them so much?

The answer is very complex. I want to show you what I’ve learned during the past year.
Jared Leto found the perfect way to get new fans and keep the ones he already had. His amazing PR is to show people that he cares. He’s doing random mini gigs in different cities. He’s using social media such as Twitter to invite everyone to join him. People have free gig and he has them to think he cares. Of course he was doing this just before and right after his band’s new CD was released. It’s so funny to see how easy people are believing him. He has this huge affection on them and he’s like a puppet master.

The next thing is VyRT. A website created by Jared to connect with fans.
The concept is amazing, gathering fans all over the globe and show them gigs they can’t attend or some small talks with the band for everyone. While I was hanging out in there I’ve heard people talking about how great he is that he’s taking his time to talk to people and it’s so amazing.
Yes. It’s amazing. I can appreciate the fact that he is hanging around with people, chatting or doing video chats. I don’t know how it was before, how did it look like a year ago or so, because I never saw it, but when I joined it all looked like one giant PR action.
The tickets to see the show and hang out with a band via web cam were not really that expensive, only $10. To sell as many tickets they could, Jared was hanging out with people doing random chats. Perfect, right? Not really. All he was talking about was tickets. People who bought the tickets had little stars near their login so he could’ve easily notice who bought it and who didn’t. For those who had their stars he made private chat and he basically blew off the main chat, writing from time to time about how great fun he was having with people in his VIP room. During other chats he was asking people to buy the CD and the tickets. To get more people to actually pre-order his new CD he was doing competitions such as call from him and the song dedication during VyRT which he never did. People were buying, some bought over 20 CD’s. This way even before the CD had its premiere it was already gold. Amazing PR. And don’t forget about the sleepover contest which was the most stupid idea ever.
The same was during other VyRTs. This time, Jared, knowing that people gonna buy anything he wants he was spending time with people doing so called VyRT Violets. He was playing songs, chatting with people, all the time talking and almost begging people to buy tickets. This time was funny because they didn’t sell as many tickets as they wanted so he was showing up on chat very often because then people were buying tickets. It was funny mostly because of people who were buying hundreds of tickets just to keep Jared happy, because nobody wanted to disappoint him.
Andd don’t forget about the newest onventions such as VIP rooms for the wealthy ones who have not only separate room but also special features. This is totally not fair since calling people a “family” separating the ones with money is just a shitty move. All I can think about is “greedy bastards”.
VyRT is the whole long story, not a good place or topic to actually talk about it right here right now.

The next thing I saw was the infamous Meet and Greet thing.
Obviously to meet celebrity and pay for it is a very stupid idea. You can easily meet them on the street. I paid for it because I was going to check everything.
For a little bit over $400 you have ticket to the show, early entry, shitty merchandise, poster signed by a band and individual photo. Of course there are also more expensive packages worh $900 where you can be on the stage for the entire show or recently added hang out with the Mars crew.
Obviously Mars are not the most expensive band or celebrity, some are charging more. I have no idea how it is with others but with Mars the thing is weird. The whole “meet” thing is depending on Jared’s mood. Some are really great and some are shitty. I’ve attended few and I had 50 shades of Jared Leto. Basically this is all not worth the money. Mostly because they don’t care about the fans who have paid for this not really awesome experience. Shannon Leto is not talking at all, sometimes when he is forced to talk he is able to answer one question with one sentence or sometimes with one word. Tomo Milicevic is there, talking from time to time, but it’s all about Jared. He’s choosing people to talk, he’s answering the questions. all of that lasts around 30 minutes. Then you have very quick picture and the experience is over. Doesn’t sound nice, does it? So let me tell you one more thing. The band is trying to sell as many M&G packages as possible. So you can go to this thing and have 50 people and you can actually hear and see anything and maybe if you’re lucky, Jared will pick you to ask the question or you can have 200 people where you won’t see anything at all. This is totally greedy and not really fair. Some bands have this M&G experience but the packages are limited. With Mars is different because they’re selling upgrades and giving the great occassions just to sell as much as they possibly can. So basically, if you aren’t outside the venue since 6am you have no option to see or ask question. And you just paid 400 dollars.
There are more reasons to write about the band being greedy. Ignoring people and just ask to vote or buy tickets. RT-ing or answering tweets about voting or tickets. I can go on and on.

The most important part of the band is Echelon. Not fans, family as they like to call themselves.
In one of the band’s videoclips we can see the words “This is a cult”. Jared likes to say that their music is not for everyone, only for those who believe, who understand. And this is quite dangerous.
Joining the Echelon I’ve seen a lot. I have to say that 30STM fans are people who belong nowhere. You can find there all kinds of people, young, old, those who are there because they love the music and those who just want to f-ck Jared, gays, bisexualsm straight. Mostly people with problems and thanks to Jared they have someone to talk to.
Hanging out there I know now that the whole “family” is a totall bullshit. People on VyRT are different. Usually they have a small group of friends and they just don’t want anyone else to join them. So newbies, be prepared to be ignored.
The most common topic in there is “Leto porn”, where people are throwing links to one of the Leto brother’s pictures.
The main group on VyRT are people who are calling themselves “Dirty VyRTies” and they are the most known group of people who like to talk about sex and what they can do to any of the Leto brother. Doesn’t matter if you are boy, girl, old or young, married or single. All the people love the “Leto porn” and all kinds of sex talks.
No matter how hard Jared and the Echelon are trying to prove they are family, they’re not. They may be friends, they may talk, but it’s so far from the family. If you’re lucky to get into their group you can be kicked out even faster. Follow the crowd, don’t speak your own opinion and you’re in the right place.
The people are following Jared blindly, without a word. Whatever Master says they’re doing it. And it doesn’t matter if he just posted a phone number to some crazy fangirl and asked to call her and ask why she was writing to him. They’re gonna find the explanation for his actions. He’s rude? So what, maybe he had a reason. He didn’t show up to M&G? Maybe he had a reason. Doesn’t matter that you payed for this. He doesn’t care, but the Echelon will find an explanation always.
I feel so sorry for those people. They are trying to fit in so hard that they just don’t see clearly that this skinny vegan guy is using them. They have the delusions that he is so good for them because he cares. No. He doesn’t care about anyone. He showed it so many times and he keep doing it.
People should know the truth. For a year I’ve been there and hearing him saying the same stuff over and over again just to kiss people’s asses is boring. He’s not honest at all. So wake up and stop blindly following him.
