Bespoke bullet proof tweed from 1960, showing a half century of wear and still going strong.
Worn with a Made to Measure shirt from Joe Hemrajani using my 30’s inspired, spearpoint collar, pinned behind a woollen tie. Silk pocket square from SuitSupply & a Guinness button ( part of a set of six ) in the lapel.
My trusty straw Boater from Olney via Tails & the Unexpected, not an easy hat to get away with, but sometimes you just have to go with what you love!
Worn with one of my favourite suits, a blue hopsack, made bespoke for some fellow in the early 70’s, by Royal Warranted Shirt makers & Tailors, Thresher and Glenny. Striped linen shirt with GIANTbeard spearpoint collar, Vanda Fine Clothing shantung silk tie, a linen silk DB waistcoat ( more appropriate for morning wear, but why should wedding guests have all the fun? ) & my Loake ‘Lincoln’ Tassels .
