3 years. 3 years ago Yoongi said he was working on his mixtape. Through constant schedules, doubting himself. Imagine how anxious you would feel after something you worked so hard on and worried about finally got released? About potential criticism it could receive, people’s opinions of it. Especially with the topics he talked about. He laid himself bare for hundreds of thousands of people, right in the open. He had the confidence to tell us about his struggles and worries and his past and how he worked to get to where he is now. I admire him so much for that. For having the courage, for being brave enough. For having the talent to produce something so beautiful. Although he puts on a front of being cocky and arrogant in songs like ‘Agust D’ and ‘Give it to me’, I feel like we really see a stripped back version of how he really feels in 'The last’ and 'So far away’. He appears to be a person who pretends like he doesn’t care, but he really, truly does. I hope he knows how grateful we are for everything he does. I hope he knows how great and inspiring and wonderful he is.
