“Lieutenant Commander Pike may I have a word please” Jim asked you into his office.

“Yes sir” you nodded and followed him in. He motioned for you to sit in one of the chairs in front of his desk and he sat in the other, facing you.

He put on his friendly Jim face, so you took a deep breath and exhaled knowing this meant he was going to get personal. “I just wanted to check in with you to see how you are doing?” he asked.

I’ve finally had some time to make some new plushie designs! One of them is GOATS. I freakin’ love goats, I think they are cute and hilarious. I made a goat as a custom for a friend about a year ago, but wasn’t totally happy with the head shape, so I reworked the pattern for these lil guys!

There’s a few up in my shop that are ready to ship, but you can also get a goat in your choice of colors here!

How Capricorn Gets Along With Others.

People you can teach: Fire Signs - Aries, Leo, Sagittarius.

Compatible similar signs: Earth Signs - Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn.

Compatible complementary signs: Water Signs - Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces.

People you can learn from: Air Signs - Gemini, Libra, Aquarius.

You want to set a good example to others by leading the way. Mostly, you are keen to show the fire signs what to do, for these are the people who have the most trouble managing the material world and who lack self-discipline. You want them to be more organised and responsible, but annoyingly they’re not interested. The more you try to guide them in the right direction, the more they will resist your efforts. Fire signs don’t operate according to rules and regulations, they are free spirits, spontaneous and impulsive. They feel restricted and penned in by your efforts to have them see sense. Regardless of the resistance you encounter, you will keep trying to show them how they can build something lasting with their creative talents. Fire/Earth relationships tend to be challenging, but you are often attracted to fire signs. They remind you that deep down you are highly creative too. They make you feel carefree and young at heart.

Thanks to the stable energy of the earth element, you have incredible staying power. You’re amazingly dedicated and reliable. Like your earth sign cousins, Taurus and Virgo, the earth element gives you an ample helping of common sense. Your relationships with these people are mutually supportive and harmonious, but it’s worth mentioning that you can potentially lock horns with other goats. When this happens you might find yourself in a real battle. Who can climb higher? Who is more successful? Who is more ethical? What rules are more valid? Who is stronger? This can go on for a long time as you both want to be the boss, but there can only be one winner. You have most in common with Virgos; for both of you, duty comes first. Virgos are a great match for you, especially in any professional or business arrangement. You’re compatible with Taurus too, but to truly open your heart you would do better with a water sign.

Potentially, relationships with the water signs are the most supportive relationships you will encounter. They express their emotions and help you do likewise. They also help you acknowledge that you have personal needs of your own. These compassionate people can provide you with emotional support, and you can provide them with the security they seek. When you are around water signs you are somehow more relaxed. You are especially compatible with Pisces. They help to bring out your creative and softer side, your Pan nature. You’re compatible with Scorpios too, though you both have a need to be in charge, which can sometimes lead to conflict and competition. Cancer is your opposite sign, so there is often a magnetic fascination that draws you towards these sensitive lunar souls. But in relationships with Cancer you can end up playing the role of a parent to a child.

People born under the air signs can teach you some important life lessons, but these are the very people you find most frustrating. As far as you’re concerned, there are ways to do things and ways not to do things, but air signs have a completely different approach. This makes it virtually impossible for you to exert your influence over them. Air signs really get on your goat, but they can teach you a lot of new things.

Mars in Capricorn

Mars in Capricorn

“If there is no struggle, there is no progress.” Frederick Douglass

Mars runs his hands along the scythe of Saturn, grinning, wisdom and tactic at his fingertips. You need not fight with fire, simply a cool head, and an icier spirit.

Those with Mars in Capricorn have mars in its exaltation, with Mars in Capricorn, those with this placement are manipulative, determined, tactical, analytical, and stalwart individuals. Natives with this placement are driven by their need for comfort, control, aesthetic and elegance. Mars in Capricorn has a big reserve of energy and can push infinitely to get what they desire and crave, Mars in Capricorn has a cold temper, and will not hesitate to destroy anyone who would try and strike them, though they do not usually rise to bait easily and have rather cool heads.

Sexually, Mars in Capricorn can be the classic dom and can be very intense and libidinous in the bedroom. They like to be fully physically involved in the act, and the erogenous zone is the joints, knuckles, and bones,(Wow so sexy) don’t be shy when your getting the goat.

anonymous asked:

As someone who also has "too much time on their hands", I just wanted to say I don't think it's fair someone put in an ask to call it a "luxury". Some of us can't get a job because we're handicapped, and what the anonymous asker might consider a "luxury" can be a "curse" to those of us who just don't have anything else to fill the time up with.

Fairly confident that was a fellow from the comment section of my website who lives to troll us all. Don’t let him get your goat, Anon; reactions only feed his sociopathic nihilism.

As for the “luxury” of free time, my friend Herman said: “Whoever is not in the possession of leisure can hardly be said to possess independence. They talk of the dignity of work. Bosh. True Work is the necessity of poor humanity’s earthly condition. The dignity is in leisure. Besides, 99 hundreths of all the work done in the world is either foolish and unnecessary, or harmful and wicked.”

11 Questions Meme

I was tagged by @bedwyrssong about a year ago.  Here finally is my response!

1. Do you remember your first kiss? What was it like?

Pleasant, but I didn’t really feel anything.  I remember being relieved that I didn’t find it physically unpleasant - putting your mouth on someone else’s mouth is a strange idea at its core, but was disappointed that I didn’t feel anything exciting.  Then again, I think that guy wasn’t a very good kisser.

2. If you could have anything for your birthday dessert this year, what would it be?

Trés leches cake.  Yum.

3. One thing about fandom in general that really gets your goat?

My #1 fandom compliant is how something BASED ON PERSONAL INTERPRETATION creates its own fandom canon, that you cannot disagree with without being called… nasty things.  Literary interpretation and fandom are subjective.  We’re not all supposed to agree.  That’s the point.  Arguments to the contrary tend towards righteous bullshit, and I’ve had enough of that to last a lifetime.

4. A movie coming out you really want to see in theaters?

5. The last book you read?

A Dance with Dragons, Part 1

Just before that, Wonders of the Invisible World by Patricia A McKillip

6. One of the best performances you’ve seen live (concert, play, musical, opera, ballet, etc.)?

Florence + The Machine

(I also saw Don Juan in Soho with David Tennant recently, and that was pretty batshit awesome.)

7. A historical period you’d like to visit?

Renaissance Italy

8. Something you’re looking forward to at the moment?

Not really anything… I mean, that sounds like an awful thing to say.  I’m not unhappy, just a little bored with everything, and while I know that better times are coming soon, I don’t exactly know when, so I hesitate to say anything for certain.

BUT I do have a couple of promising auditions coming up next week.  Fingers crossed!

9. If you could go on a shopping spree with unlimited funds, what store would you choose to shop in?

10. Link or paste in a copy of a favorite painting, photograph, or sculpture.

11. Next new-to-you TV show you’re planning to watch?

I have started both Black Mirror and Harlots, and am enjoying both.

Probably next will be The People vs. OJ Simpson (or Critical Role)

Here are my questions:

1. Is there a character, story, or ship you love that people don’t want you to love?  If you’re comfortable sharing it, please do!

2. What rule of manners do you wish was considered universal?

3. Which color is the most beautiful?

4. What were you worried about this time last year that no longer worries you?

5. Favorite Youtube channel?

6. What do you believe in?

7. What do you miss?

8. Any insecurities that used to bother you that don’t anymore?

9. Fictional world you would most like to visit for a weekend?

10. A flaw that always endears you to a person and/or fictional character?

11. A flaw that you cannot abide in other people/fictional characters?

@winterspride, @lyledebeast, @ayekuei, @unashamedlyenthusiastic@thesparkofrevolution, @bewareofitalics, @leelajoy716, @theperfectlyparadox, @fiftysevenacademics, @thedowntonhistorian, @catelynstxrks@tiesandtea, anyone else who would like to!
