Water Scrying

Water scrying is the art and practice of gazing into water to see the future or receive a vision. Water scrying is a great way for clairvoyants to develop their skills, but can also be done by anyone. -Mod J

  1. To start, you are going to need a bowl or something that holds water. Preferably the bowl or water holding object should be a solid color inside so you don’t get distracted by patterns. Black, white, or a metal bowl are ideal because these are colors that are easy to gaze at for extended periods but any solid color should work.
  2. Fill the bowl with water
  3. Now set up your space. It helps to turn off the lights and have a candle or a few around the bowl giving some light but not close enough that you see the reflection in the water.
  4. Now this is the hardest part, gaze into the water in the bowl and let your eye lose focus. Your vision might get a little blurry but try to fight the urge to look around and refocus your vision. After a while of doing this you might be able to correct the blurriness without losing focus on the water. Around this point when your gaze softens some kind of vision should appear in the water.
It’s important to understand that what you see might be a real depiction of what your scrying for/about but it’s more common for you see symbolic images instead. Learning to translate these symbols takes some time and practice so keep working at it.

Another thing to note is that you might feel like your mind is just making you see things in the water that isn’t there, and i guess on some level that is correct. The water it’s self isn’t what’s producing the vision, you are receiving because you asked to, and are using the water and bowl as tools to help perceive it.

Here are ways to help enhance your water scrying that i know of:

  • You can charge your bowl over night with tea made from certain herbs. I like to steep some mugwort and lavender in my bowl to charge it while i sleep and empty it in the morning.
  • You can a few drops of essential oils to your bowl while scrying, or before to help charge the bowl and water’s energy. The oily surface can also help keep you from getting distracted and gives your eyes something to focus on.
  • Another way to prevent distraction is to put a small crystal at the bottom of the bowl around the center. It gives you a fixed point to look at, but I’ve noticed for me that is often cut off some of the vision and everything will move around the crystal rather then appearing in the whole bowl.
  • Using your bowl for offerings. I find this helps charge and enhance my scrying bowl’s energy by putting offering in it when i work with other spirits and deities.
  • Sometimes it can also help to instead of building up the energy in the bowl do a cleansing and put some salt water in the bowl to soak.
  • You can also use moon water, sun water, or any magically enhanced water that might be specific to the type of reading you are doing. I find moon water is always good for all water scrying.

If you try water scrying and find it doesn’t work for you that’s alright. It’s not for everyone, and even those who do it regularly have off days where they can’t get anything to come through. So give it a few tries before you decide if it’s something for you. Good luck with your scrying! -Mod J

Petition for there to be more platonic kisses among everyone in Team Voltron

  • It starts mostly with the Garrison trio cause they’re the most open to each other and physically affectionate together
    • Big Hunk smooches on Lance’s and Pidge’s cheeks
    • Playful Lance pecks in places that’ll get him the best reactions like behind Hunk’s ears or the back of Pidge’s neck
    • Sleepy Pidge kisses to Lance or Hunk’s temples when they find her in the workshop in the middle of the night and carry her back to bed
  • Then Shiro gets in on the action
    • Shiro ducking down to press his lips to the top of Pidge’s head when she’s upset and missing her family whispering “don’t lose hope” into her hair
    • Shiro affectionately ruffling Lance or Hunk’s hair after a job well done and pulling them in for a “congratulations/glad you’re back safe” kiss to the temple or forehead
    • They return the kisses too of course, peppering his cheeks/forehead/temples/nose/whatever with little pecks that say “thanks for looking out for us” and “we appreciate you” and “you’re important to us” and “it’s ok to not be ok” and “we’re here for you”
  • Keith is the last one to get in on the kisses, just because it takes him a little longer to feel comfortable with that kind of physical affection, and the others respect his boundaries
    • Hunk is the first one to smooch him, sweeping him up after a particularly grueling battle where Keith’s warning saved him from being pulverized, planting a big wet one on his cheek in gratitude and relief
      • ((He pulls away quickly at Keith’s surprised look and starts apologizing but Keith cuts him off and says it’s ok))
    • Pidge giving him a little comfort kiss when they’re both up in the middle of the night missing Shiro and Keith returning it without thinking
    • Lance laying the biggest, soppiest kiss he can manage on him to break him out of his head when he gets too focused on a problem, cackling at his shout of indignation
      • ((This of course leads to a chase through the Castle which ends with Keith blowing raspberries into Lance’s stomach, followed by a little thank you peck to show he knows what Lance did and he appreciates it))
    • And of course, when they finally get Shiro back Keith holds him tight, lips pressed to Shiro’s shoulder, Shiro returning the hug just as hard and giving Keith an “I’m home” kiss to the temple
  • The Alteans also adopt the custom at some point
    • Coran dropping proud kisses onto Pidge’s head when she assists him with something, or worried kisses on Lance’s forehead when he gets injured (again), or excited kisses when Hunk figures out how to fix something that was giving him trouble, or “I understand what you’re going through” kisses when Shiro comes to him with nightmares in his eyes, or comforting kisses when Keith feels overwhelmed with all the responsibility he’s taken on
    • Allura has adopted the “good luck/come back safe” kisses. Once she realizes it’s not a big deal she starts sending them off on big missions with kisses to the cheeks, much to Lance’s delight
      • It takes her a while to relax into giving different kinds of kisses; her royal upbringing and self-appointed role as commander dictate she should hold herself in check around the others. But eventually she starts showing her more playful side and starts giving and accepting kisses more often, for everything from teasing to comfort to  fetching something

I am the girl that will be here when you need anything
I am the girl that will send you random thoughts and showcase when I think about you,
I am the girl that will spend hours in a car with you, or outside anywhere, exploring and sharing music,
I am the girl that will be me, while you will be you.

What do you think about an “i picked up your bag at the airport but i can’t find your number so i’m about to embark on the largest scavenger hunt of all time by using your strange belongings to track you down” au with charmer or nurseydex or zimbits or something??

Well, I don’t know if you expected three mini fics, and I didn’t fully follow the prompt, but here we are.

1. Charmer

Look, Chris knew it was dumb. He knew that everyone on earth had a plain black suitcase, he knew he should have double-checked the luggage tag, he knew it was important to be sure abut these things. But knowing what he should have done couldn’t help him when he finally got his suitcase home and opened it up to find mostly yoga pants and sundresses.

Fuck.

He zipped the bag back up and flipped open the luggage tag. It was cute, pink with some metallic lettering saying “I’m outta here!” in a handwritten font. Chris blamed jetlag and the redeye flight for making him miss the fact that it wasn’t his Sharks tag. He blamed the bag’s owner for not filling out any of the information on the tag.

Dammit.

Well, sorry random girl, he thought. He opened the suitcase up again to try to see if he could find anything that would give him a clue as to who the suitcase owner was. He moved a makeup bag aside, and hit gold immediately. Well, Samwell red. A Women’s Volleyball tshirt– mystery suitcase girl had to be on the volleyball team.

“Hey Ransom!” he yelled. “You’re facebook friends with all the volleyball team right?”

“He’s friends with everyone on campus!” Holster yelled back.

“Ask their captain if anyone flew in from the Bay Area and lost their luggage!”

_X_

“Is Justin here? My captain said he’s got my suitcase.” Chris overheard her at the door. He grabbed the bag and started hauling it downstairs. As he set it down at the bottom and caught sight of the girl in the doorway, he froze. She was pretty. Like, really pretty.

“Um, hi,” he said.

“So you’re Justin? Oh my god, I’m so glad it wasn’t some total rando who got my bag.”

“I’m actually Chris, Justin was just the one who was friends with your captain. Um, I’m sorry, but I kind of had to look through your stuff? Your luggage tag wasn’t filled out.” The girl laughed.

“Yours wasn’t either! Me and my teammates were like one minute away from googling the record holder for most San Jose Sharks merch, but it totally makes sense that you’re on the hockey team.”

“Since we both forgot to write our numbers down, maybe we should do that now?” Chris suggested. The girl grinned, grabbed his phone out of his hand, and opened up a new contact. She punched in a number, and when she handed it back he saw a text of several random emojis addressed to the new contact of “Caitlin Farmer” with a girl farmer emoji and a volleyball emoji.

“Text me sometime, and maybe we can get dinner?” she said, and she was gone with her suitcase.

Chris collapsed on the couch, a dreamy look in his eyes.

“Chowder? You get your suitcase back?” Bitty called out from the kitchen.

“Yeah! and I think I’m in love now!”

2. Nurseydex

“Cheryl, I’m telling you, I had a ton of inspiration on the plane and I wrote some great stuff for act three. No. No, it wasn’t just me thinking it’s great because I popped some melatonin and got really sleepy. It’s like, legit. Yeah, I’ll send it over as soon as I get home and–”

Derek slammed into something. If he’d been holding his phone in his hand (bluetooth is a blessing when you drop stuff easily) it would have launched across the airport. As it was, his post-flight latte was soaking through the nice white shirt of the handsome stranger in front of him.

“Shit,” the stranger said, looking down to survey the damage.

“Oh my god, I’m so sorry, I shouldn’t have trusted myself to make a phone call and not be clumsy after such a long flight,” Derek said. He set his briefcase down and pulled a wad of napkins out of the outside pocket. The guy took a deep breath, going from murderous to calm in a few seconds.

“I wasn’t looking where I was going either, it’s not your fault,” the guy said, setting down his own briefcase and accepting the napkins. He blotted at his shirt.

“Let me pay for the dry cleaning. Or a replacement,” Derek offered. The man shook his head.

“It’s fine, it probably needed to go to the cleaners anyways.” He checked his watch. “If I run, I can probably get a new one before my meeting.” He wadded the napkins into one big ball, picked up his briefcase, and walked towards the exit with a terse nod. Derek, feeling terrible about the whole thing, picked up his own briefcase and walked to baggage claim.

By the time he was reunited with his home office, a cozy bookshelf-lined room in his brownstone, he had almost forgotten about the coffee incident. He was focused on sending the manuscript to Cheryl. Unfortunately, that was going to be difficult, considering he pulled a PC laptop out of the bag instead of his Mac.

Derek stared at the computer for a full minute. He almost couldn’t believe that this was happening to him. Hesitantly, he opened the laptop. On one side of the keyboard there was a weird thing that a few seconds of phone googling told him was a fingerprint scanner. Shit. He hit the space bar experimentally. Something flashed on the screen, and then was replaced with just a plain black screen with red text: ACCESS DENIED

Derek swore. He started to look through the rest of what was in the briefcase, but was disappointed to find it empty except for the laptop’s charger, three packs of gum, and receipts from a lobster shack in Maine. Shit. Nothing in here would tell him anything about the redhead he’d launched a latte at.

He closed the laptop dejectedly, ignored his editor’s text messages, and went into the kitchen to make himself lunch and feel sorry for himself. This was the universe punishing him for covering a cute guy with coffee. If he had just kept his focus and waited to call his editor later, he could have sent the draft along and saved it and not be desperately trying to remember his inspiration.

Just as the self-pity spiral was really taking off, the doorbell rang. Derek sighed, put down his tea, and walked to the door. When he opened it, it wasn’t Girl Scouts or Jehovah’s Witnesses, but the guy from the airport.

“Cancel whatever you’re doing today, I need to teach you the most basic principles of digital security,” the guy said, pushing past Derek into the dining room. He shoved a stack of papers onto a chair and pulled Derek’s laptop out.

“I’m Will, by the way, I make software that’s hopefully a step ahead of viruses.”

“Is the draft still there?”

“The draft of what?” The guy looked confused.

“My third act breakthrough. I’m a novelist, I need to get it to my editor and I couldn’t remember if I saved it,” Derek explained.

“You know you can set up an auto-save every five minutes or so, right?” Will asked.

“This might be surprising to you, but I’ve never had a cute guy storm into my house and yell at me about computers before.” Will looked up from Derek’s computer, blushing.

“I haven’t had a cute guy dump a gallon of coffee all over me and steal my laptop before, either, but here we are.”

“Maybe you can yell about computers over lunch with me?”

3. Zimbits

Button downs. Tank tops. Slacks. Shorts. Three rolling pins. A pie tin. A half-emptied multipack of sharpies.

No lucky puck. No clothes in his size. No jerseys.

Jack sighed. It would just be too much to ask for anything to go well today. He picked up his phone to call someone with the Falconers, in the hope that they could talk to the airline and sort all this out. At the same time, his phone lit up with Tater’s face.

“Zimmboni! Look on twitter. Small internet baker has your suitcase!” Tater hung up before he could reply, so Jack just opened twitter instead.

omgcheckplease: A bunch of pucks, some dirty jerseys, and a history textbook. Either I’m back in college or this isn’t my suitcase.

omgcheckplease: .@falcsofficial please tell your #1 player to DM me and come get his shit

omgcheckplease: and @falcsofficial tell him to give me my shit back. my hockey days are in the past, I need rolling pins, not a mouthguard

Jack smiled and laughed in the way a person laughs when they’re alone, just blowing more air than normal out of his nose. He looked through the twitter for a minute– the guy, Eric Bittle, was a Providence-based chef, whose latest tweets were mostly greetings to the various cities he’d been visiting on tour. Jack clicked the media tab on the account, and looked through the pictures. Bittle was cute. He wrote a reply.

zimmboni: .@omgcheckplease how do I send u a DM

omgcheckplease: .@zimmboni you don’t deserve to be verified, oh my god #verifybittle2k17

A few seconds later another notification popped up, and he tapped it to be brought to a DM window.

omgcheckplease: hey! sorry about the mixup. I can only imagine how confused you were to find all my book tour stuff.

zimmboni: Probably as confused as you were finding hockey stuff?

omgcheckplease: I wasn’t joking in my tweets, I did play hockey before I got into the whole cookbook/food show thing

zimmboni: Exactly, I did a book tour last year in the off-season :-)

omgcheckplease: oh my gosh, isn’t it the best and the worst?

zimmboni: I know. It’s great to meet people and talk about your work, but it’s exhausting.

omgcheckplease: that’s why I’m so excited to be back in Providence! at least until the next cookbook.

zimmboni: Well we should probably meet up to trade suitcases. Want to meet somewhere for dinner?

omgcheckplease: don’t trust me to learn where your house is?

zimmboni: I mean, if dinner goes well enough…

omgcheckplease: OH. okay, then, Mr. Zimmermann, it’s a date.

Jack smiled to himself, and got ready for his date.

Attraction To A Stranger [Jason Todd x Reader]

I got this prompt from a post by @otpprompts: “Person A sees Person B in the waiting room of an airport and tries to get in touch with them without actually talking, eventually managing to slip a paper with their number in the book Person B was reading. How all of this happens is up to you. Bonus if Person C is the one helping Person A.“

A/N: When you think you write too much for Jason but then remember that’s not possible. (Fem Reader)

________

Jason was sitting, bored as all hell, in the seats outside his gate. Roy sat next to him hat pulled over his face, trying to get a few minutes shut eye. Jason sighed leaning into the back of his seat, just people watching.

He was unamused by anyone until a [h/c] haired girl with the most stunning [e/c] eyes sat in an open chair across from where he was. You had a set of headphones in, completely oblivious to anyone and everyone around you. Observing as you would gaze at the gate and check your watch.

Jason found you absolutely stunning. Every move you made entranced him. Even more amazing when he saw you pull out a book he found to be one of his favorites. Watching as you turn each page eagerly, looking forward to how the plot continues onto the next page.

He just wanted to get up, sit in the seat next to you, and strike up a conversation. But for some reason he just… couldn’t.

So, he just continued to watch.

“Dude you look like a stalker.. Or a crazy boyfriend. One of the two” Roy interrupted Jason’s staring. He shot the archer a glare. “I don’t look like a stalker”

“Kind of do the way you’re staring at the poor girl.” Roy whispered. Making Jason roll his eyes before they landed on the stranger again. “Just go talk to her”

“I.. I just… I don’t know” Jason crossed his arms shrugging. Looking at Roy he saw he had a shit eating smirk, “You’re scared to talk to her” he teased.

“What? No! I’m not scared to talk to her. I just… don’t want to interrupt her book” Jason glanced over looking for an excuse.

“Yeah, whatever you say Jaybird. Then I guess you won’t mind if I went over there and talked to her, maybe asked her out got her number” Roy’s smirk widened as Jason sent another glare. “Fuck you Harper”

“Ah, there it is. The truth comes out. Jason’s nervous to talk to a girl.” Roy shook him by the shoulders, leading Jason to hit his hands away. The movements catching your eye, chuckling upon seeing the exchange before looking down at the page once more.

“She just looked at us by the way” Roy commented, making Jason’s eyes widen and look at you once more. “Just go over there already, aren’t you the one who girls swoon over?”

“Shut up” Jason shook his head, running a hand through his hair. Messing up the white streak. “Well what if you got her to talk to you, pace around her, maybe drop something to catch her attention?” Roy offered up some suggestions.

“Why do I feel like I’m in middle school with a crush? I’m a grown man I should just walk over there” Jason pinched his nose as if he were getting a headache.

But he eventually did what Roy said, just trying to get your attention. Tried to drop something by you, and ‘accidentally’ bumped your seat. However, you were to entranced in your book and deafened by your music to notice.

That was until they heard your phone begin to ring, watching as you picked it up from the space at your side. Pulling out your headphones and setting your book on the open space next to you.

“Hey Mom” Jason heard you speak for the first time and was even more attracted to you. “No, I’m just sitting at my gate. There’s still some time before boarding.” you continued to talk on the phone.

“Now’s your chance, slip your number in her book. She’s facing away from it.” Roy was indeed right, you had your attention turned to a window opposite the direction of your book.

Jason nodded, scribbling down his number on a piece of paper with a small note. Carefully he strode over, staying out of your vision. Sticking the paper on the page your bookmark was and backtracked to his seat.

Leaning against the armrest, waiting for you to find it. As you continued to talk he ended up pulling out a book of his own, phone stuffed in the pocket of his leather jacket.

“Alright Mom. Yes I’ll be careful. I love you too. Bye.” Hanging up the phone with your ever worrying mother. You grew up in Gotham, of course you can handle yourself elsewhere. Chuckling you picked up your book, opening it to the marked page.

Though when opening the book a small folded sheet of paper fell into your lap. Confused, you unfolded it reading the contents.

‘Hey, so I’ve been trying to get your attention but it seems you like that book about as much as I did when I first read it. I’m across from you if you’re up for a date some time.

###-###-####’

You looked up from the note to see two men. One with red hair that was scrolling through his phone and the other with black hair and a white streak through it. Both were rather attractive but the one with the black hair was just gorgeous in your eyes.

Hoping for the best you typed in the number and sent a message.

Jason felt the phone buzz in his pocket and dug it out. Clicking the screen it lit up to reveal a message from an unknown number. Not noticing the smile grow on your face as you watched the screen.

“That’s one way to give a girl your number. But a name might be nice to know first deary.. -_^

Jason looked up at you with a dumbfounded look, you covered your mouth giggling before removing it and waving at him. He grinned before beginning to tap the screen.

“Jason Todd. Your turn doll”

Chuckling at the nickname you answered quicky.

“[F/n] [L/n]”

Looking up you saw his buddy looking over his shoulder before he smirked and stole the phone, swiftly typing on the screen.

Reading the message you let out an audible laugh, muffling it with your hand.

“About time he got to talking to you. But how about instead of this texting shit, you sit with us on the flight. Get to know Jaybird audibly.”

After you stopped laughing you responded.

“It’d be my pleasure. I’d love to talk to ‘Jaybird’”

Jason visibly blushed at the use of his nickname Roy had for him, even if it was only through text.

Though one thing he was looking forward to was hearing you talk to him with the same smile you had been talking on the phone with earlier. Little did he know about how this would be the start to something he’d forever treasure.

“How much sugar did you give him/her?”

“Are you sure you’re okay being alone with the them?”

“I’ll be right back, I promise.”

“Don’t give the kids sugar while i’m gone.”

“I swear sometimes I have two children instead of one.”

“Your hormones are just a little crazy. You cried today because you saw a cat on the tv.”

“I know it’s three in the morning but could you please get me some chocolate milk. Oh and some chocolate chip cookies, please.”

“I love you but your cravings are killing me.”

“I’ll rub your feet. I know they’re getting swollen from the pregnancy.”

“We should look into adopting.”

“It’s okay, we can always adopt.”

“Our adoption papers got accepted! We’re going to be parents!”

“We get to bring her/him home tomorrow i’m so excited.”

“What if they don’t accept us? What if we can’t adopt?”

“We’re going to be amazing parents. I know they’ll see that. Please don’t worry. I know the adoption papers will go through.”

“Have you heard anything yet about the adoption papers? Have we been approved?”

“The kids drew all over my work papers….I hope they’ll accept stick figure drawings.”

“Honey, you put the babies clothes on backwards.”

A/N: Thank you guys so much for reading. It has been awhile since I wrote from Dean’s POV and I’ve missed it. A special thanks to @free-bouquet-wasteland for helping me out

This is for @deansdirtylittlesecretsblog RomCom Fluff Challenge. My prompt was “What’s there to talk about? She’s the best person I’ve ever known.”

“Thank you.” She takes the cash off the bar as I grab the glasses, downing one before heading for the table. It wasn’t like Sammy was going to drink it anyways, he had his nose buried in some book. Jesus Christ that kid, we just get done with this hunt, celebrating, getting wasted and he’s already looking for the next one.

“Where’d she run off to?”

Sam looks up, then glances over to where she had been sitting, “Oh, she’s over kicking some poor guy’s ass at pool.”

steve harrington x reader • be still

Summary: If you had to die, dying while saving the boy you loved and the boy who loved you wasn’t a bad way to go.

Word Count: 1800+

Requested By: Anonymous - Steve and reader where Steve thinks you dies but you come back and just pure fluff

Warnings: Angst, language, some fluff at the end.

Notes: Ow.

Title is from the song Be Still by The Fray, which is a lovely song that I’d recommend to anyone.

I was planning on doing requests in the order I get them, but my muse worked best for this today so I guess I’m just gonna do them when I’m feeling the right vibe to write it. Hope that’s okay with everyone waiting on a request!!

Alsooo this is a repost from earlier because there were a lot of errors I hadn’t noticed until after I posted, so this is the edited version!

REQUESTS ARE OPEN!

It was stupid, really. Even as you were doing it you knew it was the wrong thing to do, knew that it was just going to end in blood and tears. There was time to try something else, something less risky, less dangerous. But you couldn’t stop yourself. There was a demodog with teeth bared running right in your direction, having fallen behind the rest of the pack, and you were the only two left in the tunnels. You couldn’t let it hurt him. Not him. Not Steve.

drarry hc: Weird habits Or dancers AU Or the one where Harry loves watching Draco do the dishes Or or or Ahhhans

Draco didn’t need to turn around to know that he was being watched. The only thing he just couldn’t figure out was why.

At first Draco was sure he was imagining things, but in the weeks since they’d first moved into a flat together his suspicions had been wholly confirmed.

Harry liked to watch him do the dishes.

Draco couldn’t understand why Harry was constantly staring at him when he did them. At first he’d been defensive, snapping at him that first night that he could certainly do some things without magic and how Harry didn’t need to stare. Only instead of getting angry Harry had looked embaressed before mumbling something unintelligible and leaving the room.

A few days later he’d caught him staring and tried to make a joke of it, “Got a kink that involves yellow dish gloves and a sink of dirty dishes, Potter?”

Harry had just blinked a few times, before closing his eyes and disapperating with a loud pop so sudden Draco had dropped his favorite teacup.

Which is why, despite the fact that he can feel Harry’s eyes on him once again as he cleans up the remnants of the steak and kidney pie they’d had he doesn’t make any funny jokes or snide remarks. Instead he stays silent despite the curiosity burning a hole in his brain.

It’s a few weeks before the subject is broached again.

Draco is puttering around the kitchen, placing the dishes from tea in the sink when Harry comes up behind him, wrapping his arms around him and squeezing him in a firm hug. There’s something shaky in his voice when he whispers “Do you want to know why I like watching you do the dishes?”

Draco is almost too nervous to speak, so he nods instead. He’s almost afraid Harry hasn’t noticed his nod though because he doesn’t speak at first, but then Draco quite suddenly he feels Harry press the side of his face against Draco’s shoulder inhaling deeply before he starts to speak.

“I never thought I’d have this…someone to share things with like this. Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon were always so angry. She used to slam the dishes into the sink like she resented having to cook or clean for us, or she made me do them. I used to think that was just what family was like. Then I met the Weasley’s and I remember the first time I saw Mrs. Weasley doing dishes without magic…she told me she didn’t mind because it meant she had a family to take care of. You….you look like that when you do them; as if it’s not a chore. It makes me feel,” and at this Draco can feel Harry’s hands begin to shake. “It sounds stupid I know but….seeing you so happy even doing our dishes makes me think you’re happy with me. That we’re gonna make it. That…you won’t ever leave.”

Draco swallows, feeling like his entire world is spinning because they don’t do this….this talking about feelings things often. Both of them have always been better with actions than words. But for once he knows actions won’t be enough.

So Draco turns, placing his hand on Harry’s chin and tilting his head up just a bit so he’s looking him in the eye.

“I’m not leaving, Harry. Not ever. I want this life and I want you.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.”

Hi so I absolutely adore the fics you've posted so far for bmc. It really brings to light the emotions of the characters and it's so well done. If it grabs your fancy, would you consider writing one where Jeremy becomes so delirious (from getting sick or a headache from the squip or something) that he spills all the self-deprecating things the squip told him to say to Michael? It would make my world if that existed, especially in your style of writing. <3

“Is Jeremy here today?”

“Jeremy’s always Heere.” Michael says automatically without looking up from his phone. Where he is currently texting Jeremy. He’s almost forgotten that there are people actually around him when someone hits him across the back of his head. “Ow what the hell, Rich!

“Don’t even try, you brought that on yourself,” Rich says and the lisp does nothing to diminish the glare he’s got fixed on Michael.

“If anything you brought that pun on yourself!” When Rich looks like he’s going to hit Michael again, or possibly punch him in the throat for better reach, Michael decides the safest thing is probably to just tell him what’s up. “Alright, yeah no, Jeremy stayed home today. I texted him this morning and apparently he’s sick. I’m gonna go see if he needs anything after school so if there’s anything you wanna tell him I can pass the message along.”

“Nah, I was just wondering since I hadn’t seen him even though I’d seen you.” When Michael only looks confused Rich continues, “Dude. You’re pretty much attached at the hip as much as two people who aren’t actually attached at the hip can be.”

“You’re over exaggerating.”

“Oh yeah? Is that right?”

“Yeah that’s right,” Michael says, looking down at his phone again.

“Just out of curiosity,” Rich says with a suspicious air of innocence, “who’s that you’ve been texting?”

“It’s-”

“This entire time since I came up to you-”

“I don’t appreciate-”

“and probably the entire day since you found out he won’t be he- at school?”

“Well I can’t just ignore him when he’s sick and miserable now can I?”

Rich’s responding smirk tells him he definitely just rose to a very obvious bait and probably should have just kept his mouth shut.

The thing is, Jeremy doesn’t do well when he’s sick. To start it off, he has no self-awareness or any clue at what warrants a sick day at home so it’s a miracle he actually didn’t come to school only to have Michael drag his sniffling and swaying ass home. Michael just assumes that Mr. Heere most likely was awake and forced Jeremy back to bed before taking off to his brand new job.

Michael doesn’t bother with ringing the doorbell when he gets to Jeremy’s house. He knows the key is under the doormat out front, despite how many times he’s told Jeremy it’s the dumbest place in the world to put the house key (”Don’t say I didn’t warn you when you literally get murdered”, “Michael nobody even gets robbed this part of town!”, “Well there’s a first for everything!”). He unlocks the door, grumbling about safety and mostly lack thereof the entire time before he makes his way up the stairs to Jeremy’s bedroom.

He hear the coughing before he’s even half-way up. He knocks on the door and shouts a quick “Don’t be naked,” purely out of curtesy, before barging in.

“Hey Mich-” Jeremy’s raspy voice is cut-off by wet sounding coughs that tear through his body and forces him to turn over on his side so that he won’t choke.

“Holy shit dude,” Michael says eloquently as he sits down on the bed next to Jeremy’s form. “I got you some cough drops,” he pauses as Jeremy’s cough takes over the conversation yet again, “but I honestly don’t think any cough drops in the world is gonna do shit for you right now.”

“Ugh…” Jeremy looks up at Michael with wet eyes, “dad got me somethin’” he says and makes a gesture in the general direction of his bedside table where a bottle of something Michael presumes is medicine is residing. “It’s meant to like,” he makes a questionable gesture with his hand, “loosen up the crap in my throat, so that it doesn’t get stuck. Which is great and all but in turn means tha I’m coughing up slime every minute.”

“Gross.”

“Tell me about it.” Jeremy says with a sigh and rolls onto his back again. Michael reaches out and puts his hand on Jeremy’s sweaty forehead, just to check. He nearly snatches his hand back after half a second and the only thing that stops him is that Jeremy had closed his eyes the second Michael touched him and is now letting out a sigh as if he’s actually remembering to relax for the first time today.

“Dude, you’re burning up.” He feel slightly concerned now. Jeremy had told him he was sick but this is… a lot more than he had let on while texting.

“Mm-hm…” Jeremy says, his eyes are still closed and there’s no actual indication that he’s heard Michael at all. Michael strokes his hand across Jeremy’s forehead and ignores the disgusting feeling of sweat clinging to it. It must feel nice to get something cool touching his hot skin.

“Hey Jeremy,” he says as he strokes his thumb up the bridge of Jeremy’s nose, “I’m gonna go get some damp towels so you can cool down a bit, yeah?” and so he can get rid of some of that gross-ass sweat currently covering Jeremy’s body as far as he can see. Jeremy seems to have tossed his blanket practically across the bedroom at some point to alleviate some of the heat but even in nothing but a tank-top and boxers he looks like he’s going to boil from the inside-out. When he comes back with four smaller towels and a bowl of cold water Jeremy hasn’t opened his eyes and Michael thinks he might’ve fallen asleep. He arranges one of the towels over Jeremy’s eyes and the latter lets out a sigh of immense relief. “Does your head hurt, Jer?”

“Why’re you being so nice…” Jeremy’s voice is weak and it sounds like it hurts to talk. Michael frowns at the words.

“When am I ever mean to you?” He asks with a scoff.

“You’re just always nice even after what I did.” Michael has to swallow down an automatic feeling of dread. Any reminder of the Squip usually has that affect.

“We’re past that, Jeremy.” He keeps his voice quiet so he still sounds calm and not at all like his heart is beating out of his chest.

“I still hear him sometimes.” The words are so simple, and said so softly but it still seems like Jeremy is screeching, as though he’s calling out for help.

“What do you mean?” He desperately tries to keep his voice calm as he sits down next to Jeremy, he wishes he hadn’t put a towel over half of Jeremy’s face now, wishes he could see what’s going on with Jeremy’s facial expression.

“I keep trying to-” Jeremy has to pause for a second as his voice breaks, “I just want to be better than what he said I was.”

“Jeremy whatever he said it-” Michael’s words are interrupted by Jeremy who seemingly isn’t done.

“He would always tell me how terrible I was, how I was gross and how everyone else thought so too…” Michael grabs Jeremy’s hand and squeezes it, unsure what else to do. “Fuck he was right. He was always right.”

“That’s not true…” Michael whispers shifting so that he’s sitting closer to Jeremy, still squeezing his hand tight.

“I still hear him, and- and sometimes I forget I don’t have to listen anymore!” Jeremy’s voice is shaky and Michael knows he’s crying, “I keep forgetting I don’t have to say it too.”

“What do you mean?” Michael doesn’t want to know, but if Jeremy needs to talk he’ll listen, he’ll always listen.

“He’d make me say things-things about myself…” comes the delayed response and this time Michael listens to the urge that’s telling him to remove the towel from Jeremy’s eyes, his headache be damned. He won’t let Jeremy get so caught up in his own thoughts that he doesn’t remember he isn’t alone. Jeremy blinks his eyes open, and Michael notices right away that he was right. Jeremy’s eyes are red and the second the towel is off his eyes start to water and he looks so frightened and so small that Michael wants nothing more than to take all of the bad, horrible things the Squip told him and make them disappear. He knows he can’t though, the best he can do is just sit there, and hold Jeremy’s hand.

“You don’t have to tell me,” he says softly and brings Jeremy’s hand up to his lips, pressing a kiss to the sweaty palm, “but I’m here, okay? I’m right here, and I’m listening.” Michael can’t be sure if his words do any good as Jeremy only seems to cry harder, but Jeremy needs to know he’s not alone. It takes a few minutes but after a while Jeremy seems to calm down enough to continue.

“Everything about me makes me wanna die.” Jeremy sniffs and fresh tears spring to his eyes and all Michael can do is gather Jeremy up in his arms and hold him close. “He’d make me repeat that…” Jeremy continues, “and I didn’t- I felt it. He just took things I already thought and felt and made me- I want him gone!” Michael’s heart breaks as Jeremy’s ramble ends in a wail, “I want him gone I want him- he’s still- Michael!” Jeremy sobs and grabs at the front of Michael’s shirt.

“I’m here. It’s gonna be okay. He can’t do shit anymore. He-it’s just a voice and it’s awful and I hate it but that’s all it is. it can’t do shit to you anymore.” Even as he says it he isn’t sure if it’s true. With Jeremy still sobbing in his arms, he feels powerless and wonders silently if the Squip isn’t already doing shit, or if he’s just done enough damage to last Jeremy a lifetime.

He pushes the thought away and squeezes Jeremy tighter.

Shapeshifter Boyfriend

An anon requested a reader who was specifically plus sized, and being plus sized myself I really wanted to do this. I couldn’t decide on a monster for a long while until I decided on the setting, so here we have a lonely shapeshifter and his chubby love.

“I thought you said you were going on a diet?” Your coworker smirks as she sits down at the lunch table with you.

You frown, setting down the lunch you had so been looking forward to all week. It was to be your one little indulgence all week, and she comes in and ruins it. “I-I am,” you reply meekly, looking over the pasta which had once been a gold mine was now a pile of ash in your eyes.

“You must have a really big dessert then if you’re eating a meal like that,” she continues to chuckle as she pulls out her lunch, which is not any better than the one you’re eating.

Pick Up Limes - Peter Maximoff x Reader

Imagine Peter having a Crush on You but he doesn’t know what to do other than lots and lots of cheesy pick up lines. (Requested by anon)

(I’m tumblr trash shhhh)

“Hey. (Y/n).” There was a whizz and suddenly Peter was sitting - or rather lying- on the desk which you’d been doing your homework on.

“Hello.” You said with a slight laugh, “What are you doing, Peter?”

“No, but you could be.” He winked cheesily, sliding off your desk.

“What-” Oh, doing Peter.

He laughed, “Sorry, I’m not very good at this.”

“At doing yourself?” You teased.

He rolled his eyes, “You’re just as bad, Missy.”

“Oh, and you would know I suppose?” You leaned forward, on your elbow on your desk.

Peter glanced around and then with a whoosh, he was gone.

Walking down the hallway of the mansion the next morning you were suddenly stopped by Peter standing in front of you.

“Hello.” You said hesitantly.

“We have Chemistry right?” He suddenly blurted.

“As our next class?”

“Um yeah sure. See you when we have chemistry!” And he was gone, his hands leaving your shoulders as fast as they’d appeared there.

When you arrived in your next class with Peter he came to apologise to you.

“Hey (Y/n). Sorry about earlier. I’m feeling a bit off today.” He paused and then a grin spread over his features, “But you definitely turn me-” He broke off laughing. “I’m sorry I can’t do this.”

He vanished again, leaving you standing in the corridor again, as confused as ever.

It was when you were sitting out on the grass with some friends, doing your homework and just talking when Peter next appeared.

You saw him out of the corner of your eye. He seemed to be slowly making his way over to you and his friends but he kept stopping to pick something up. Or somethings.

As he got closer you realised they were limes. He saw you and waved, dropping all the limes.

“Oh my god.” You muttered, getting up and running over to him to help.

“I’m sorry.” He said, being very clumsy with the limes.

“It’s ok-”

Peter suddenly looked up at you, locking eyes. “Sorry. I’m bad at pick up limes.”

You stared at him, the smile spreading across your lips, before you grabbed him by the collar, pressing his lips to yours. You felt him smile before he kissed you back, dropping all the limes around you.

When you pulled away, unable to keep the grin off your face, Peter smirked at you. “So uh.. hey, will you go out with me then?”

“Yes you dork.”

And he kissed you again.

Epiphany.

Hi, guys! Thank you so much for being super amazing about sending in your amazing requests and the really nice messages you all have left me. I will be going through them soon and will be writing them in a random order so don’t worry if you have yet to see your request being posted! I will post them eventually so check this POST out and send those requests in!

Okay, this is actually supposed to be something short but I don’t know why it’s over 2k words (it sounded and looked so much better in my head/imagination). So I’ve put the rest under the keep reading line. Thank you so much for sending in your prompt and honestly, I hope I did it justice. Enjoy!

PS: This is the only imagine that is queued, mostly because it is already super late on my side of the world so I will try to get some more done tomorrow morning and post them accordingly.

MASTERLIST

Being close friends with Peter entitles you to a lot of things – like knowing his well-kept secret: The Spider-man. Being his close friend also entitles you to sweeping in to save Peter when he bails on his lovely Aunt May when he gets called to go for a brief mission.

“You owe me big time.” You tell Peter as you park outside of his apartment. You turn the ignition off and unbuckle your seatbelt before getting out of the car. “Do you think you will be long?” You ask him, locking your car and heading towards the apartment building. Peter tells you that he does not think he would be long – maybe a good thirty minutes to an hour. “Alright, see you later, Peter; stay safe.” You remind him and Peter chuckles before you hang up the call.

Once you reach the seventh floor, you head over to their apartment room and just as you are about to knock on the door, the door opens and you step back when May steps out with a big smile on her face. “Hi, Y/N.” She presses her lips against your cheek and you give her a brief hug. “How are you?”

You smile at her. May is such a lovely person so much so, sometimes you want to smack Peter for almost always bailing on spending time with May. “I am feeling fine – a little bit swamped with assignments and the likes but nothing I can’t handle.” You inform her as May locks the door and the both of you begin to head towards the elevator, heading straight to the ground floor and in to your car.

“I am so thankful you can help me out – my car is still in the workshop.” May buckles her seatbelt once the two of you get in to your car and you shake your head. It’s not like you minded at all – coincidentally, there are a few things you need to grab too. “So how are Peter and you?” May winks at you and you resist the urge to roll your eyes as you begin to drive towards the nearest supermarket – which happens to be a good twenty-minute drive from the apartment.

You laugh sheepishly. “There is nothing going on between Peter and I, May.” You glance at her from the corner of your eyes. You have no idea why May think there is something going on between the two of you – you have always been Peter’s close friend and you probably will always be; you don’t even think you have seen him in that light.

May looks a little bit skeptical with your answer but she nods her head, a knowing smile on her face. May has lived long enough to recognize the looks the two of you would give each whenever you think the other is not watching. Sometimes May would want to just make the two of you have a sit down and talk about feelings but trying to push the two of you together would probably result in something completely different. So she simply minds her own business - only occasionally sticking her nose in this particular area of the business.
